Londinium in Southwark

we were staying in the hotel so booked for dinner in the restaurant online prior to arrival. The menu looked really good. The food was very good but the service was a little slow. Unusual situation bearing in mind there was only one other table occupied.

Mi pareja organizaron una fiesta de Navidad para la empresa trabaja con y fue encantador. Los comedores privados son perfectos para este tipo de eventos. Estaba decorada con buen gusto con una decoración festiva (decoraciones natural, no de plástico) y tenían una estación de música allí, así que podía jugar su propia música (optamos por Rat Pack Navidad música cursi). El servicio fue muy atento. En todo momento no tenemos al menos 2 miembro del personal en nuestra habitación, ser amable y profesional. La comida estaba bien. No fue el mejor que he comido, o no hay nada que me gustaría fluyen. La comida era bien la cena de Navidad. No está mal, pero no es genial. Sin embargo, recomiendo que para cenas privadas de navidad debido a su ambiente y buen servicio.

I am a member of the gourmet society. I explained this on making a reservation. I asked if the menu was restricted because of this was told "no" Arrived at restaurant, said I was member of gourmet society, asked if I could have menus for this. Was given only one menu. Time comes to pay up at end, "sorry sir you can't use gourmet society discount with this menu" I was lied to

I decided to book this restaurant for an early Valentines celebration with my partner because they're in a nice location and accept tastecard but, above all, because the menu shown on the website was mouthwatering with a lot of different options. When we arrived, it was almost empty, only two other people -then the total raised to a maximum of 7, including my partner and me. Apart from this and not having a warm atmosphere whatsoever, we were given the menu that was very very very disappointing: completely different from what they have on the website, only half of those options and higher prices. I was told by a member of the staff that the menu on the website is just a "sample". Well, I found it ridiculous and was ready to leave but my partner convinced me to stay. We had three courses each, food was ok but absolutely nothing special, starters portions very very small, and we left still quite hungry. Luckily, at least, we got 50% off because of the tastecard but wouldn't return anyway. One last thing: staff were ok, the lady who took us to the table and got our order was professional, the other two waiters were not that professional but friendly.

Just thought we would add another review to reiterate what we said 4mths ago. Same scenario as last time, in the area and wanted some food, so thought we would go back and see if Debbie was there. Luckily for us she was and she remembered us too :) So we had another lovely meal, in a pleasant environment, served by the charming and ebullient Debbie. We'll be back again and hope our luck holds out then too.

There is a full buffet but I do not like to eat food that has been in chafing dishes. I ordered an omelette and the service was slow.

My wife and I popped in here one Tuesday night (around 19:00) primarily as it was near to London Bridge station and also as it takes Tastecard, plus the reviews were ok. I called ahead to make sure they had a table. The restaurant is in the basement of the London Bridge Hotel and is used by the residents of the hotel, but is also open to the general public. The décor is nice and the lady who was at the front of house was friendly and welcoming. There were a few people in there eating and as it turned out they were all residents, who left shortly after leaving the two of us on our own for most of the rest of the meal. Debbie showed us to a table of our choice, she was personable and chatty but professional. Throughout the rest of the meal she was attentive and helpful whilst also it seems coordinating the Hotel's room service. We had Chicken soup and piri piri chicken salad for starters, for mains we had Plaice and chips and Lamb shank. They were all well presented and tasty, delivered in a timely fashion and accompanied by well chilled drinks. To sum up, the food was good as were the drinks, the restaurant was not buzzing but then that suited us fine. Debbie made the meal better than good though, so thank you to her for being great fun and making our experience all the better.

I went to the Londinium (part of the London Bridge Hotel) for dinner with my wife. The menu has a fairly decent selection. I had Monkfish and wife had a Sirloin steak. Both dishes were excellent. We then shared a cheese board which was ok but nothing special. The service staff were very nice and professional so they deserved a bit of recognition. Price is on the expensive side unless you have a Tastecard, which will get you 50% off the food bill. So it's reasonably good value if you do have one!

We chose Londinium for an early evening meal, prior to going over the river for the Ceremony of the Keys at The Tower. We were also able to use our Tastecard, which made it very good value. The restaurant is in The London Bridge Hotel, 100 metres from the stunning Shard, right next to the very busy London Bridge Station. Outside all is bustle, inside all is tranquil. The restaurant is below ground and is very quiet. Like most hotel restaurants it appears to be not as well used as it deserves. The welcome and service here are delightful. The food is relatively simple, but very well cooked and tasty. If you are around this part of London ( The Globe, Borough Market, Tate Modern), and you want a wholesome and relaxing meal, this is well worth considering.

My wife and I ate at the Londinium during a stay at the London Bridge Hotel. The Londinium is in the hotel basement; it has a classical ambiance and is a peaceful place to eat and feels a million miles from the noise and hubbub of Tower Bridge Road and Borough Market (though the market is a fabulous place to visit). We found our choice of fish and steak respectively fully satisfactory and service was excellent. We also took breakfast here on two mornings. We found it pleasant to linger here over tea and toast and newspapers on one of our mornings (though newspapers are not delivered at weekends, we were told). On the other morning when time was short we were able to eat well and quickly from the hot buffet. The Londinium proves to me that hot breakfast buffets can be very good – and they do leave you much more in control of your time

Dark basement room with an only just acceptable breakfast which was charged extra. Staff appeared confused by the fact that the room was full. Fried eggs cold and congealed, bacon had clearly been under the hot lamp for some time. The fruit on offer was a mixture of apple and melon; not what would normally expect for breakfast. Orange juice was synthetic. Nice pastries. I could have done a great deal better at the caff I used to use when doing site visits to the Shard.

I've eaten here twice. The restaurant was quiet both times - the food is fine - if you're staying in the hotel it is a fine place to eat.

We went here as a group of Board members. It's situated in the basement of the London Bridge hotel. Very gloomy and it smelt of fish when we got there. Service is appalling, very slow (90 mins for 2 courses!) and everything had to repeated to make sure the order was correct. And then it wasn't, they brought us one too many starters. The menu is more akin to a pub than to a London hotel restaurant but quite expensive, very disappointing. I had gnocchi with a blue cheese dressing and the whole thing was tasteless. Even a simple order like a gin and slimline tonic caused them a problem.

I was here on a recent trip, and the kitchen is more than adequate and not over priced as hotel restaurants sometimes are. I had no problems with service or seasoning, and the smallish menu is sufficient. It is quiet - perhaps because more people are having room service - so good if you wanted to have a quiet conversation over dinner. So, not a destination meal, but you'll be fine eating here. I didn't have dessert, the wine was good (and very decent pours), and the coffee was surprisingly good.

This restaurant never disappoints, food and service are excellent, and ambience is nice and quiet.I never really understand why it isnt rammed out, presumably people think as it's a hotel restaurant, the food will be typical bog standard fare, but it never is. The chef is inventive, the food always really fresh and well cooked, we have eaten here maybe 10 times and it has always been superb.

The restaurant was empty, but I had to constantly keep my eye out to get the attention of the waiter to order our drinks and food once we had been sat a good 10-15mins. 10 minutes later, no drinks as of yet. I reminded the waiter - the response "we're really busy with room service"Drinks came, food not too long after. For the price of what we ordered I didn't expect a crusty old hot dog bun that was crumbling at each end, like it had been defrosted.We ordered 2 x portion of French fries with our meal, of which neither were presented. We had to ask for them, of which the waiter only brought out one portion.We ate the food, which was average. As we bit into the last mouthful of our food, the second portion of fries arrived. I explained that we wouldn't be needing them now, the waiter just stared blankly and then toddled off. Average food, barely warm or non existent fries, vacant staff with no expression. Just a bit odd!

For the price I was expecting quite higher quality food. My dish was heavily salted which killed all flavours! On the other side, the big homemade chips were perfectly cooked, slightly crispy outside. The presentation was very good from my perspective.

Friend and I were due to somewhere else but she was running late. Rang that restaurant ( well known Italian chain ) to be told they couldn't honour my booking as they'd run out of food! Fired up my taste card app and found Londinium. Rang and booked mentioning my taste card. Ate there about 1/2 hour later Scallops to start on a pea purée - divine ! Rack of lamb and dauphin potatoes - equally divine. Very few other diners which could have been an issue but friend and I in full gossip mode so didn't make a difference. Very extensive wine list ( not included in taste card) Taste card offer was 50% off the food bill which paid for the wine - double win! Will be adding this to my list of places to eat in London. Excellent service from restaurant staff. Highly recommended

We ate here twice during our stay at the London Bridge Hotel. The food was excellent, both in terms of taste and value. The sea bass was so good, my partner chose it on both evenings, whilst I had rack of lamb and then salmon. My only criticism would be that my fish contained lots of bones which was a little off putting. It was nice to receive 20% discount on both evenings, particularly as we were outside of the qualifying timescale on the second night. We just couldn't understand why this restaurant wasn't busier. There was only one other couple on the Thursday night and two other tables on Saturday night. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Vi kom till hotellet på kvällen och behövde mat och lite avkoppling och som det fungerade det utmärkt. Maten var god och absolut inget fel på och servicen var utmärkt, men prisläget lite för högt för vad man fick. Menyn var inte direkt omfattande heller, men vi var som sagt hungriga, så det funkade. Med facit i hand hade vi nog tagit något enklare i baren på entréplan istället.

I held a surprise 30th Birthday dinner for my girlfriend. 50 guests in total for a sitting dinner and 80 guests for a reception & dance after!Amazing hotel and restaurant! Susan who was my events manager was amazing. The staff on the day were amazing!!! I cant fault this place at all.I have also visited them 2 times now for dinner and I love it!!!

I dined at Londinium last night with my partner and parents and have never left a restaurant feeling so disappointed and frankly angry. On arrival we were the only diners in the restaurant, however, this did raise to a grand total of 7 during our evening. We got drinks in the bar upstairs (good service, nice wine and bubbly atmosphere) and took them down with us which was no problem. The dinner started well with good fresh warm bread and butter although a lack of atmosphere. Our starters took approximately 40 minutes to arrives which was a long time but not in itself a problem. They were average at best. It then took over 30 minutes for our dirty plates to be taken away after much trying to get the staff's attention on our part. Although there were three or four staff going through the restaurant none seemed to be concerned with serving our table, I'm not sure how much better off the other three diners were. One gentleman waiter was standing rejigging a folder at the main entrance desk...apparently too high up to clear our table. Our mains came out immediately after we managed to get our starter plates taken away. This was again average food and the vegetables were cold. No one came to ask if our food was ok before we finished it and when they cleared our plates and it was stated that the vegetables were cold there was a half-hearted offer to reheat them which by that point was not very useful. Again on completion of our food we waited for about 30 mins for someone to come and clear the plates away, which only happened after we went to ask for some service. Not seeming to take this as a hint to perhaps pay us some attention we then wanted to order desserts. As no one was coming to take our order I had to go to the gentleman concerned with the folder and state my order, with which he did nothing until the supervisor came back five minutes later and then he told her. She then told us it would be a fifteen minute wait which were not prepared to accept. After making it very clear that we thought the service had been appalling she came back with the bill and we immediately stated that we would not be paying the service charge. To the lady's credit she took the service off with no complaints. She apologised for the poor service but said that there was a conference in the next room and room service had been busy. I'm afraid that if you don't have enough staff to serve the seven diners then do not open the restaurant. We dined with a Tastecard with 50% off food and I still left feeling like I had been robbed. Truly ruined what should have been a nice family get together.

We booked a table for 21:15 and were surprised we were the only people in the restaurant by 21:30! This is usually a concern but it meant we could talk without disturbance. The service was excellent by friendly staff who interacted with us as much as we wanted. The food was also very good although more expensive than this site suggests (£70-£80 for 2x mains, 4x drinks & 2x desserts). It is hidden and very much a hotel restaurant, but if you don't mind the price then it can be a nice place to spend time with your fellow diner(s)

Stayed at the hotel which included breakfast downstairs at the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Restaurant empty. Menu limited not the same as menu on line. Starter lacked seasoning - Vegetable selection seasonal all very al dante. Only potato dish was hand cut chips which did not really go with duck breast. Sweet ok but nothing special. Whole 3 courses rushed - I left my knife and fork open on my plate as the waiter and waitress kept hovering to clear our plates. Whilst having our sweet they started to clear all the unused tables and start setting for breakfast in the morning and it was only 8.45p.m! disappointing experience and a dampener to what was a lovely weekend.

Excelent restaurant, fantastic value for money. Staff vere extremely friendly, although we asked to stay at the table on a very busy night. We will be back soon. Thanks guys.

We enjoyed the Londinium once we finally found it! There are many roads surrounding the area and it was quite difficult to find even with our iphone! It is down the stairs of a hotel and had no windows but it was warm and very inviting courtesy of the staff. The food was excellent, I had chicken my husband had the venison, pleasing to the eye and very tasty. We followed with coffee and Petifores as we don't eat dessert, all very good. The waiter was knowledgeable with regard to our wine choice and very attentive but not intrusive. He also honoured the special discounted rate even although we arrived shortly after the cut off point at 7 pm which was an added bonus and very nice of him.

We were the only diners in Londinium on a Wednesday evening at 8pm. The menu looked interesting however the dishes were disappointing. Dishes were very plain and unexciting. Service was very slow. Won't be returning.

One criticism of the venue was that it lacked atmosphere but this maybe because we had an early dinner. Food was overall of a good standard though the Eton Mess was 90% cream which made it very sickly!

There was no-one else in the restaurant, which was in a basement. They didn't have three different dishes or sides that were on the menu. The steak was appallingly badly cooked. It was simply terrible. I felt sorry for the attentive and very pleasant waitress.

I was taken to this restaurant form my birthday as a surprise by my family. Our experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant where the surroundings, service and staff are first class. Certainly made my birthday memorable and I highly recommend a visit to this fine restaurant.

This was not a particularly atmospheric dining experience but had a reasonable amount to commend it. The restaurant is very much a basement room down a not very elegant flight of stairs. Only 3 tables were already taken. But the service was friendly and attentive and the food pretty good and quite reasonable. My starter was a cold tomato soup with parmesan ice-cream, which worked well, followed by tender and well cooked lamb with a puree of beans. The wine list is very short and unimpressive but what we had was drinkable enough.

As other reviewers have commented, there is not a lot of choice - especially if you are vegetarian - but you can just about find something. I had the goats cheese and beetroot to start with which was very good and the mushroom & onion pie to follow. My co-diners enjoyed their choices. For the price, I thought the portions were a little on the small side but you couldn't fault the quality or taste. The service was second to none.We had a relatively early dinner as we were due to go on to the Shard but by the time we left at 8.00pm there was still no-one else in the restaurant. We did not have any 241 offers as other reviewers have had but we did get an early bird discount.The restaurant is fully air-conditioned and was slightly on the cold side but I am sure had we asked them to turn it down, it would not have been a problem. I would recommend this restaurant.

We had a 50% off voucher for an evening meal. I think this is available all the time to entice people to the restaurant for a meal as there were also 2 for 1 notices posted around the hotel. This was a God send as we didn't think if paying full price the meal was worth the kind of money they were asking on the menu. There were six of us and all had lovely starters. We then all had Fillet of Beef ordered to our request of medium, rare etc. Two of the Fillets unfortunately were well done which were asked for medium. Never complained as we didn't want to spoil the evening. We also had desert which were okay as we have had better in other Restaurants and Public Houses for less price. Wine ordered was obviously hotel prices, so expect to pay.

My husband and I stayed at the London Bridge Hotel and decided to have dinner at the Londinium the first night. We had a 50% of food (no time limit). The restaurant is in the basement. There are no windows and the airconditioning was set to minus degrees.The menu card is not very intersting.I had salmon for a starter and my husband the scallops. Both dishes were ok. We both had the risotto and chicken with peppers for main course. It was tasteless and boring food. I'm not saying that the quality was bad, but it was lacking taste.The servers are nice and friendly but they could not make up for the blandness of the food.

Sat down at 7.45 - order taken by 7.50-7.55pm. Food hadn't arrived by 8.40pm I made my thoughts known. In a restaurant that had at most, 10 people in. Food was at best average. Would I like a dessert menu? Yes please. 15min later hadn't arrived, so asked for bill. No discount had been taken off - there was a 2 for 1 on mains. Just bad training and no attention to detail. This might be just me - but when a waiter, says "No worries guys" when I had a request - and "Sweet" when I inform him of our choice of mains - am I getting old or are people just not trained how to talk to customers anymore? In Maccy D's I could understand but Londinium? More training please and better, conscientious staff.

This is a lovely restaurant and not overly priced for London. The staff are very helpful and polite. The food is lovely.

The room felt very much like a hotel dining room in a basement, just a plain old featureless room, perfectly comfortable though. The service was very poor and considering that the restaurant was not busy there was no excuse. The waiters spoke very little english and didn't understand when we wanted to split our bill between three couples. We were left for 20 minutes when we arrived without being offerered a drink and the rest was just surly service. The menu clearly hadn't been changed for a couple of years - but everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. The fish was light and tasty and I had a steak which was very nicely cooked and was excellent meat. It was a shame that the dining experience was spoilt by such poor service.

Excellent food, excellent service, I just like restaurants with windows!

I should start by saying that because of the huge number of restaurants to choose from, I do not usually eat in London hotel restaurants. On my recent 2 night stay circumstances made this a convenient choice. My wife and I had two very good meals on two nights. The food was very good and great value with the two for one offer on main courses. Good wine selection at fair prices, relaxed ambience and excellent service added up to a very pleasant experience.

Nice and quiet restaurant! Perfect for a nice and quiet private dinner. The food was very nice and the service as well. The only thing I did not like was the menu had (printed in large letters) "2 for 1 deals!" For me this sort of thing makes the restaurant look cheap and kind of spoil the experience....especially if you are taking someone special for dinner.

This is a great restaurant with delicious food! Excellent noodles and fun atmosphere! I ordered the noodles with seafood and it was great. Plenty left over. Kids loved it!

Interesting menu and they do a 2-4-1 deal too.They had some very different vegetarian dishes,which were highly enjoyable.

I chose this restaurant because it's close by London Bridge station.Although this restaurant doesn't have big menu, but when the food came was absolutely delicious and dishes size about right for two or three courses each person.Its shame as not many customer there.... I'll definitely go this restaurant again.

We stayed at this hotel and met some friends for dinner. 3 out of 4 had fish and it was lovely, well cooked and flavoursome. The ambiance was great and the service was very attentive. We would stay here and eat at this restaurant again.

Food and service were well above average.

This restaurant doesn't have a huge menu, but the food is extremely well-cooked and presented, and very, very tasty. Meat is tender, vegetables not overcooked, and everything is hot. The only downside is that portions tend to be on the small side!

We have stayed at the London Bridge Hotel several times but only usually eat breakfast at the hotel which is always fantastic but this time we had no plans for the first night of our stay so ate at the restaurant for dinner too - it was so delicious we booked a table for our last night too! The portions were generous for both starters and mains and both tasted wonderful. The menu is not huge but it is varied, with several meat, fish and vegetarian choices for each course and the dessert I squeezed in was perfect! Service was brilliant as always, staff were attentive and friendly.We will definitely be eating there again during our next stay!

I met with 3 friends. We had a couple of bottles of wine in the Quarter Bar (part of the hotel). It was very nice, with compfy seats and attentive staff. They supplied a small bowl of chilli crackers. We then went to the Londinium restaurant, table booked for 7.30. Three of us had the salmon starter, one had fishcakes. All was really tasty and well presented. For the main course we all had different and all were lovely. Presented nicely, a good mix of flavours on the plate and very fresh. The deserts were heaven. We shared 2 between the 4 of us but next time (there will definitely be a next time) we will all have our own that's for sure. The waitress brought us up 1 plain and 1 poppyseed roll each to start along with plain and also garlic butter which I thought was nice. They're doing an offer of 2 for 1 on main meals at the moment. We were the only 4 in the restaurant all night which is a shame. I hope this isn't the norm.

Service and food top class, has got to be one of the best full English breakfast's i have ever eaten.

Food was excellent both nights of our stay. Menu choice is not huge, but should be enough to suit most tastes. Duty manager and waitresses very helpful and attentive without making you feel rushed.

The salmon I received was over cooked and the rest of the meal was slightly below average, except for the scallops & black pudding starter which was lovely. The staff were friendly enough but certainly weren't enjoying working.

Londinium @ London Bridge Hotel - High expectations due to previous reviews and prices but very let down by the main course. There's nothing like chewy fatty steak that costs £21 a piece to put you off a place and unfortunately both me and my guest had the same main course. Starters and deserts were fine but nothing special. Service - an attempt to keep her distance proved to result in pretty poor service have to wait a fairly long time between courses and to order

The food at Londinium was good, but it was a little over priced. Service was very good though. All in all, a reasonable meal.

Londonium does a great deal for lunch with Pieminster and serves delicious pies with 2 sides. The restaurant is super quiet at lunchtime so ideal place for business meetings. Service is very good especially as you might be the only ones there. It is a shame as it is a lovely restaurant

I just have to say what a hidden treasure I have found in the London Bridge area, the food was superb the atmosphere was great and the staffs were very attentive, I could ask for more. I have already recommend Londinium to my friends and work colleagues.

This was my second visit to Londinium,its a restaurant within a hotel so clearly not many people know its there, once again very impressed with the food and service. I would definitely recommend and will return soon.

The restaurant was very quiet, which was good as we wanted to talk. Service was very good indeed and both starters and dessert courses were excellent. Unfortunately three of us had the partridge, which was not so good as there was a slight taste of burnt oil/fat that permeated it. Our fault in a way as I am sure if we had complained it would have been sorted.

Went on a Thu with a 3 former colleagues and had a great evening. The restaurant was deserted, though. We were the only ones there. Food ok, but not great; I expected better food. If it wasn't for the special offer, I think it would have been very expensive.

The Londinium (london) was a beatiful restaurant, with excellent service. The menu was excellent, and had an interesting, if limited selection of food. I'm not sure whether I would recommend it to vegetarians, as the veggie options were uninspiring compared to the meat and fish dishes. Overall a wonderful dining experience, and very well located. However, I'm not sure that I would go without the 50% offer, as whilst the food was of good quality, the portion size left much to be desired!

The food in this restaurant was delicious, we had the partridge and the bream. The resturant itself ws very quiet and lcked a bit in atmosphere, but this was more then made up for by the attentive service. I would go again

I enjoyed my experience at Londinium. Nice food, great service, nothing wrong with the venue/setting - it had an old style traditional hotel feel, but atmosphere was lacking. Overall I thought it was good, but not amazing.

Londinium by London Bridge was great value for money. Excellent service although the place was a tad quiet. Menu could have done with being a bit bigger but overall excelent value for money.

Londinium was a very pleasent venue, food was great and staff were very friendly.

Londinium lacks atmosphere as there are seldom many tables taken in the early evening. Service is attentive and friendly. The food is slightly above average but good value with the top table 2 main courses for 1 offer.

Lodinium is at a convenient location by London Bridge. Food is good. I have enjoyed the rump of lamb very much. With the 50% off the main courses, it works out to be of a good value. Will definitely return to dine there again.

Londinium at the London Bridge Hotel nr London Bridge. The restaurant is in the basement of the hotel and although the environment is a bit bland, the decor is nice - hotels always have the best toilets!The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered a scallop and rhubarb starter which was very well cooked but the rhubarb was a bit odd. We also had a venison carpaccio, which was great, lotsof it. Lamb and steak were both great - the steak had snails with it which were delicious.

Very good food, attentive staff and good service. I would certainly eat here again without hesitation.

The londinium at the london bridge hotel was a great find, and great value. the 50% offer avaialble for use on a friday evening was really welcomed. service was attentive and atmospehere buzzing but not to loud.

Last night I dined at Londinium.... again. As always, a great experience. Superb Bombay Gin G & T's to start. Reasonable and well chosen wine list. The food was excellent as always, and the service equally so. This restaurant is a gem - very close to London Bridge station and ideal for that after work / before getting the train home relaxation period ! I was pleased to see that it was quite full, as it deserved to be. I cannot recommend it enough...

Londinium in London Bridge Hotel on London Bridge Street is a posh joint, with a pricy limited ala-carte menu. Due to the food quality though and the convenience of location, it was well worth with the 50% offer to eat out there. Was empty on a weekday at 6.30. Few present by 8pm.

Was a little quiet but livened up later as we arrived quite early. Service was good, as was the food.

Londonium - convenient for London Bridge station so was ideal for meeting a friend who lived outof town.

Excellent night out - the atmosphere was not great though as the restaurant was nearly empty.

Evening was fantastic, nothing can be faulted except that we were the only table in the restaurant.

Food at Londinium near London Bridge was very good, although fairly standard offerings, steak was cooked perfectly however and service was solid. Atmosphere lacked a little probably because of it's basement location it would lack the "passer-by" trade. Very convieninet to London Bridge, would recomend for a quick after work bite with the Top Table deal.

Londinium London Bridge Hotel, food was good although portion size was small, wine list was limited but good. Didn't know about the TT 50% off deal we had booked and creadited one meal which wasn't as good value.

Londinium is a consistent favourite of mine. It is the superb food, great service and relaxing ambience that appeals. Terrific G & T's, good (and affordable) wine list and reasonable cost - what more could you ask for ? This visit was no exception (although a little more expensive that previously)....still wonderful !

The restaurant Londinium is in the basement of the London Bridge Hotel two minutes from London Bridge Station. We had an early booking for 6.30pm on a Thursday and only two other tables were occupied so there was no real atmosphere. The lamb was a little overcooked for my taste but tender and the samphire delicious and we were offered dessert on the house as an apology. Although both the food and price was reasonable I doubt that we will return.

I wasn't sure about eating here as it's a restaurant in a hotel ... however the service was very good, there was a good selection on the menu and the food was great. There wasn't a lot of atmosphere ... I think there were two other tables while we were there but it was a great place to catch up with friends.

The Londinium Restaurant in London Bridge Hotel served excellent food with good service. The surroundings are beautiful, but the area feels neither large nor intimate.

Londinium although lacking in atmosphere because there was only two other diners, meant that we could enjoy a very pleasant meal without too much noise. The food was very good as well as the service.

My Boyfriend and I went to Londinium for a nice quiet dinner, it was lovely and peaceful, the food was good, and the service was excellent! My only complain was that my risotto was a huge portion which made me feel extremely full up! Hardly a complain! I would go back - the 50% was fantastic, without it the bill would have been maybe a bit too much.

Very enjoyable experience. Friendly staff. It was even reasonably busy this time but service still swift. Just one tip, if you want your steak rare ask for blue otherwise it will come as medium. Great value on the 50% offer.

Londinium was good value with 50% offer but would have been expensive without it. The restaurant, part of a hotel, lacks atmosphere, but service was friendly and efficient. Warm smoked trout starter was overcooked but service with excellent onion marmalade. Lamb was cooked beautifully and was delciious as were the roasted scallops served with too much pea puree, but the Aberdeen Angus steak was pretty tasteless.
