The foods was good but there are many places do better foods. It does have a nice view over the St Paul. The service wasn’t up to standard… few of the staffs gave us their attitude which is not professional.

I was lucky enough to enjoy this restaurant because we went to celebrate a wedding and we were impressed The quality of the food is really exquisite, the atmosphere helps a lot to enjoy a good meal. Also while you enjoy the food you can enjoy excellent views of the city of London since it is located at the top of the building. Both the exquisiteness of their dishes and the attention of the service were up to the task.

A very spacious restaurant and the service is very good. The view at night is breathtaking.

Lovely to place to stop for a well made cocktail when visiting London. Not cheap but a nice treat, have stopped a few times and always have the build me up butterscotch it’s delicious.

The food here is solid, and it’s clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing. You won’t leave disappointed in that regard. That said, the overall experience had its issues that made it less enjoyable. The biggest problem was the wait time. After finishing our appetizers, we waited about 45 minutes for our entrees, which felt way too long. The ambiance had its ups and downs. The rooftop view is really nice, but the building itself feels a bit run-down, which takes away from the atmosphere. Service was also a letdown. We had to ask twice for water and twice again for the check. The slow service really stood out as a big problem here. Overall, while the food was good, the long wait and slow service made the experience frustrating. This might work if you have a lot of time to kill and want to sit and chat, but it wasn’t the right fit for us.

Basic food and vibe, touristy, busy and noisy.

Superb restaurant and venue. I made a reservation to celebrate my wife's very special birthday and was not disappointed. We were situated next to the huge windows with a spectacular view towards St Paul's Cathedral. Service was impeccable from the waiter, waitresses and sommelier. Our first & second courses were amazing. Really tasty. The wine, Châteauneuf du Pape, was sublime and complemented the second course, Fillet Steak, perfectly. The 'suprise' chocolate Birthday Cake and candle was lovely. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

This is my family‘s first trip to London, and we have one daughter with a life-threatening tree nut allergy. Online, OXO has an allergy menu, which is very helpful. But in person, they were even better than I expected. I have only good things to say, and I am so thrilled that we spent our lunchtime with them. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is excellent, the drinks are delightful, the allergy protocols are commendable, and the views are spectacular. I even had three desserts that my daughter could enjoy. Very rare experience indeed.I highly recommend OXO Tower restaurant/brasserie.

I have tried the Tasting Menu with pairing wines on Friday. The service was slightly off and disorganised at first and told us after we sat down that they didn’t have scallops (they were part of the tasting menu). Anyway we accepted to stay, the starter was very average but then the rest of the menu was just a dream: the monkfish was amazing! The pairing wines were exquisite! A bit pricey but overall a good experience!

This was an incredibly disappointing experience. When you first walk in to the restaurant, it's quite impressive with the view and the decor, however that is about the only good thing I can say. The food was massively disappointing, the crab tasted like cheap tuna, the scallop was average at best and the duck was underwhelming. I'm not one to care about prices, however, the price in comparison to portion size and quality is terrible. The service was a bit off too, overly pretentious and insincere.

Went on a Sunday, six adults, for a birthday celebration. It was amazing. Attentive, friendly service, fabulous views and exceptional food. Highly recommend the Sunday Roast Whole Free Range Chicken.

My family and I came here on Sunday for a Birthday. They sat us near the window where the view is incredible of London across the river. The service was exceptional - the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was live jazz music to add to the atmosphere and the food was sensational. We didn't opt for the Sunday lunch, although there were a few tables around us sharing it and it looked delicious. We had dishes such as the Camembert (although ask for extra bread as there wasn't enough to eat with it), Seared Tuna, Venison steak, Roast Chicken and Mushroom Ravioli and we were all absolutely satisfied leaving the restaurant. It was delicious! Definitely will come back to enjoy the evening atmosphere.

The Oxo Tower never disappoints! This has become a staple for us whenever we’re in London, and for good reason. The views from the terrace are simply breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. The food and drinks are consistently excellent, with a menu that caters to all tastes. The service is always top-notch—attentive yet unobtrusive.

OXO Tower Restaurant is one of many London restaurants with a view. It views the St. Paul's Cathedral. The view is beautiful, but it seemed like most of the tables were in the middle of the restaurant, not by the window. To take a nice photo, you had to go outside to the terrace. The food was OK, with typical Central London prices. The service was great. The staff were friendly, polite, helpful, and professional. Overall, it was a nice dinner out. I would recommend booking a table in advance as it might get very busy.

I have been going for several years and even had been recommending the Oxo. However, I felt badly let down when attending on my birthday in September. I asked my waiter several timess what they would recommend as the menu is seasonal and I received no help whatsoever. I ended up ordering a series of starters without mains for me and my daughter's thinking it would suffice. Needless to say it didn't and by the end of the allocated time I had spent over £150+ and was still hungry. This was really disappointing and not what I would have expected from waiter's on hand. It ruined my day.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We celebrated a birthday and farewell and the restaurant experience made it all very special. We had the Sunday roast of roast chicken with all the trimmings, it was all very delicious. We got a great table near the window and it was great to see the London views. Don’t miss this place was a wonderful experience.

Food was great and the staff were very attentive and polite, however I feel the restaurant seems very run down and more like a canteen than a high end london restaurant.

We came here for a drink on a Thursday. Didn’t have to book. Sat on the 2nd row so the view for the river and St Paul’s was not perfect. But we didn’t mind. They’ve got Christmas menu already up in serve. We feel - there were more staff than needed but maybe this is the style of the restaurant and it’s better to have extra pair of hands than under staff. Every cocktail is quite unique and got some interesting ingredient. We went with traditional ones rather than seasonal ones (can’t remember the name!)

From the set summer menu, sardines followed by the chicken dish both way below par, smallish servings I didn't bother to finish. The tasteless chicken came with cooked parma ham or prosciutto tougher than leather. I chose apple cheesecake for desert - why bother, again left most of it. The meal did come with a sweet spritz drink (the best thing about the meal) but it couldn't make up for the lack lustre food offerings that had practically zero flavour.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon as a party of 4 adults. We sat in the bar area next to the window with good views especially of St Paul's. Although we did not have a booking we were fortunate they had spaces in the restaurant had we opted for going there. - Top tip of you want a good table with views on the restaurant side, getting booked in will help with this. - Staff was incredible and a good range of wines are offered - Good food. We had the steak and some chips for the table. - Good vibes. There was a live band and the music was just right so we could have a good chat around the table

worst service i’ve ever experienced- booked a table in may for november for my birthday- arrived at 3.30pm to them saying there is no chicken left only food is steak. Had they have told me i needed to prebook food or it is popular i would have. We were moved back out the restaurant back into the bar, waited a while before i could order a drink. The server who served us was lovely but i had asked 2 other staff for local recommendations and they said they would ask and be back. Got charged £26 for a bottle of still water and a porn star martini. Ruined my birthday due to how late in the day it was on a sunday! No trying to find somewhere local to eat! such a shame as i was so looking forward to eating here. Would joy recommend on a sunday unless you fancy eating a full roast at 12! :(

Visited in October 2024. We had a three course meal and everything was served within one hour, so it felt very rushed. When going for diner at night, I prefer to have a laid back experience rather than feeling they would like to set out table for a second time. The food did not seem fresh, more like everything was just heated up. As desert, we had ice cream which was scooped onto the plate before and then frozen again, so it had lot of ice crystals. £9 for 4 small pieces of bread is also quite absurd. Price/quality ratio was definitely off. Staff was friendly.

We went here to celebrate my best friends birthday. Overall the food was ok although it was served cold and service too a long time ! They had live entertainment which was nice! They did not make any special arrangements for my friends birthday alright I specifically asked ! Overall I think the food was overpriced for what it was !

Excellent place to eat European food. The service is fast and quality. The combination of flavors is very rich. The desserts are also very delicious. I highly recommend it. I suggest you book in advance on their website as the place fills up in the afternoons and evenings.

Slow service because they seemed understaffed. Client dinner went on annoyingly long because it took forever for our order to be taken. From sitting down to main course it was 1hr30. Food was good though. Staff pleasant but missed a lot of opportunities to take drinks orders

I celebrated my birthday at Brasserie Restaurant We had a table next to a group of very loud and noisy customers. I been to Oxo for many time last few years but never experienced people were talking so loud and on top of each other.(really down market) Our starters were exquisite but our main courses were dried and a bit disappointed. Anyway, services were excellent. Amazing view.

Came for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Offerings and birthday cake were perfect for our large party. Service was impeccable--attentive but not intrusive. Live music was entertaining but not overbearing. We easily conversed without having to talk over the music. Definitely a return visit. Our pp cost was more than what we would have spent on a regular lunch as we had several bottles of wine/water, and a birthday cake with ice cream.

Positives: It’s okay to go for a drink. Cocktails were delicious. Waiters provided good service. Negatives: Unfriendly lady at the reception, not welcoming at all. Set up should be better, it’s to bright for a bar.

If i could give zero stars, I would. The staff lie to your face. We waited a very long time between our starter and main. When we enquired where our main was, we were made to feel like we were being irritating. When we were finally served our main meal, the couple next to us were served their main meal within 2 minutes. This is despite the fact that we had ordered ours at least 20 minutes before they had. We then asked again if there had been a problem with our order. The waiter we spoke to lied to us again. The waiter claimed the people sitting next to us had not had a starter. Which was a lie. They had. We watched them eat their starter. We even had this couple confirm to the waiter they had had a starter. Still, the member of staff refused to accept that our order had been delayed. At no point did they apologise. All we asked for was an acknowledgement that our order had been delayed, yet the waiter continued to lie and make us feel unwelcome. Completely gaslighting us. I said you could watch the CCTV back and see how much longer we had waited. I dont actually mind the delay. My husband and i were enjoying chatting . What i do mind is being lied to. And sadly this ruined the evening. I don't mind if you make a mistake and something goes wrong. Just be honest and say I'm sorry you had to wait so long. But don't lie. That is just rude and unnecessary.

Had a birthday meal with my daughter, and my son with his girlfriend. It was a GREAT Meal. I had crab as the starter. My daughter had the duck and main course beef and she reckoned the beef was the best she has ever tasted. She is fussy, she likes her food. Son and his girlfriend had the bass. They enjoyed that. As it was their birthday I arranged a birthday cake to be ordered. Oxo dealt with the ordering of the cake and when it came it was lovely. Had couple of candles on top as well. The location is great. The restaurant was open. Didn’t feel enclosed. The view was great. Definitely one of the selling points along side the menu.

We had a nice dinner at Oxo Tower. The melted Camembert was great as a starter. The swordfish and beef were also quite delicious. The Harvey Nichols 2019 Malbec was superb. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and the service was very quick. However, we were expecting a more pleasant and elegant atmosphere, but it was rather average. Additionally, the place was very noisy, with conversations from other tables creating quite a bit of noise. There seems to be an issue with the acoustics.

Incredible meal to celebrate mine and the wife’s birthdays and easily the best service I’ve had in London for many years. First of all the adjustments to suit my wife’s dietary preferences were welcomed with no fuss, the atmosphere is superb with live music and excellent views. The food was not up to standard as you have high expectations for the venue and price. It should have been excellent and it was ok. Nothing terrible but all a bit bland and Luke warm and over salted. I was disappointed. The view is still good and servers were nice but it was all a bit declining in my opinion. I’m not sure if I usually have been with the work nights rather than a Friday/ sat night. It was a special occasion and I was taking out friends who were in town. I won’t choose that again and next time would probably just go to the bar for a drink and the view

My partner booked a reservation for two people here for our anniversary. We were really looking forward to it, bit I was unwell from a long term illness and we had to cancel on the day. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and charged us each £40 (£80 total) for not showing up, despite me clearly explaining the understandable reason we couldn't attend. It was a terrible experience, complete lack of understanding for empathy from the venue.

I had written a review here a couple of months ago following a negative afternoon tea experience I had at the OXO Tower and felt compelled to rewrite this. Having given feedback to their customer service after the first visit, I was surprised to receive emails and calls from their management to discuss my thoughts further…their attention, concern and follow up was outstanding and I took up their offer to return to the brasserie this weekend. Well what a wonderful time my friend and I had! Food, drinks and service were second to none and views over the Thames spectacular. Thank you so much to Paul, Mario and all the customer services team and staff, who took the time to listen to me and incorporate that feedback. I’m so appreciative of everything you did to make my latest visit such a special experience. Thank you and wish you all the very best, you guys are doing a superb job and absolutely made my day - I’ll be back :)

Such a shame. Expected a higher level of service from such an iconic location. Great views but the drinks weren't presented as well as they could have been, which took away from the experience. They trying hard but missing the mark.

Wonderful Afternoon Tea with old school friends and our daughters, all celebrating their 25th birthday. We were made so welcome by the excellent Waiting team. The food was beautifully presented and plentiful. We felt it very good value, particularly compared to other comparable offerings In London. Sandwiches, cakes, savoury Nibbles ( duck croquettes and gazpacho particularly good) warm scones with an abundance of clotted cream. Very comprehensive tea menu. Really a super experience and topped off with stunning views over the Thames.

I really liked the menu and the bistro feel that it gives off - my only criticism and it’s a small one was the seating . I felt far to close to other customers and was sat next to others when there was other covers available But the service was excellent and food delicious.

The rooftop restaurant right next to the thames, has an very cosy vibe and an amazing Tomahawk. Service was in top, and we did not miss anything. We were a party of 7, and still everyone got their food at same time. This place is worth a visit, the allyway that leads to the entrance hides a true gem.

The kids menu was fantastic which my 8 year old thoroughly enjoyed. We had the dinner with a view of St. Paul's, we ordered duck for starters and lamb for mains, both delicious and appetizing. I recommend OXO tower for special occasion in addition to formal / casual dining, it is all worth it.

We have been yesterday to the Brasserie OXO Tower, it has been an amawing experience. Normally, rooftops in London have either bad food, bad service or a view better on picture that in real life. Here, I was really impressed by the view (all tables benefits from the view, which is rare in London), the food is well balanced and dishes decent sizes, with a small menu which is always a good sign of quality. Also, there were some live music (piano/singing), not too loud so that you can still speak and enjoy the music. Last but not least, the hospitality has been amazing from the welcoming at the elevator, booking entrance and the service at the table by Ernestas, who treat us amazingly well ! You're going there for the views of course, the food is secondary. I arranged a business dinner at the restaurant on a warm summer Thursday evening but rather annoyingly they could not guarantee a table on the balcony. So I arrived earlier and had a couple of drinks -the aperol was perfectly suited for the occasion. The views did not disappoint. The wine list is extensive, not cheap but very good. The food otherwise is not what it should be at that price. The scallops were delish: perfectly cooked, lovely red pepper and sauce and a julienne bed. Great. The turbot however came out disappointingly small and dry. Especially at £33. Service was fine overall, kinda forgot us by the end when we wanted to pay. Think the brasserie might be a better option?

On a sunny afternoon in London, we decided to indulge in a relaxing afternoon tea by the River Thames. The atmosphere at Oxo Tower was tranquil and the service was exceptional - the staff were attentive and friendly. The variety of tea options was impressive, providing something for every preference. The cakes were delectable, but unfortunately, the sandwiches were slightly dry. Overall, our experience at Oxo Tower was enjoyable and we look forward to returning for another delightful experience.

The food was unbelievable! Everything was very high quality and delicious. The servers were friendly and helpful and they made the experience 10 times better. The view is lovely and the dinning hall is wonderful. Their alcohol selection was also great! The prices may be high but it's definitely worth it! My mother has a dairy allergy and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful! Definitely recommend.

We had a great time at Oxo Tower brasserie for my partner's birthday! The meal was delicious and the service impeccable! Many thanks to our server Monoom who speaks excellent French and who took excellent care of us during the meal!

I highly recommend this restaurant. As a vegetarian, I was pleased with their great selection of vegetarian dishes, and what I ordered was delicious. The restaurant also offers a lovely terrace with a view of the Thames River. The service was top-notch, with no long wait for food or drinks.

Went there with family for a special sundowner at the rooftop bar. And special it was. The view is awesome, cocktails are great, staff is so friendly and customer-oriented. Then there was live music, a fantastic female artist with just the right jazz music for a wonderful evening. Just a great place with atmosphere. Love it!
