Cafe and small motorcycle museum in one. A bit hidden away, but if you're a motorcycling buff, it's worth hunting it out. Admission free, it's part museum and part shop as it seems everything is for sale. The bikes are in concourse condition, thanks to the enthusiastic couple who now own the place. The cafe does an excellent breakfast, along with cakes and other edible treats. There is no car park and on street parking is limited, but the street wasn't busy the day we were there. I'd certainly revisit.

Lomo's cafe is inside the motorcycle museum/shop so has a unique atmosphere (sometimes punctuated by bike engines being revved!) This is my nearest cafe so I go once or twice a week. The coffee is very good but the food is exceptional. While there is a limited menu each day there are many variants across the week. Most dishes are homemade and freshly prepared. The full English breakfasts are very popular but my personal favourite is a baked filled croissant with ham & cheese and side salad. Other dishes include homemade burritos, sausage rolls, feta & spinach filo parcels and a variety of salads and sandwiches. Donna, who runs the cafe, is a very experienced cook who has worked all over the world, from Eurostar trains to stately homes. Her cakes are always delicious and she is constantly experimenting with new recipes. My only complaint is that the cafe isn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We visited The Barn for afternoon tea with mum as a mother's day treat. We absolutely loved it, the staff were excellent in looking after our small group including accommodating young children and babies, cannot fault the service and the food was delicious. Thank you for a brilliant afternoon 😊
