We visited having heard rave reviews and I'm really glad we did. The venue is in a really cool area and offers indoor and outdoor seating (both covered and heated and uncovered). We ordered and the place had been so busy that morning that not items were available but the member of staff did their best to compensate for this - offering the black pudding extra for free (which ended up also having run out) but then offering chorizo instead. We shared our dishes, the full English and a bagel. Both were really tasty. I was sceptical if the baked beans were homemade as they looked like and tasted very similar to shop bought but fair play if they are as they were good! Coffees were good too, my flat white was maybe slightly on the luke-warm side and my partner's black americano was too hot to hold but this wouldn't put us off returning. I'd just ask for my coffee hotter and cold water added to the black americano in future.

The food was so delicious and we were lucky enough to have the sun shining when we sat outside! It is a very popular spot so it was very busy and took a while for the food to come but I would definitely recommend! The one pan breakfast was innovation and amazing!

I stumbled upon Lomond Coffee in the middle of lockdown and have been going back religiously every weekend since. From the most incredible coffee (their oat flat whites are the best in London) which they roast in-house to a really well thought out and diverse menu, Lomond is a great place to bring friends, family and even business acquaintances for meetings. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming too, often warning of a waiting time when they’re particularly busy at weekends which is helpful for anybody in a rush. There’s also a great selection of deli products and coffee beans to buy - staff are always on hand for recommendations and advice. Will be going back for as long as they’ll let me.

We visited with two children under 5 for lunch. The menu is interesting and tasty. Our children loved the beans on sour dough toast and we enjoyed the sandwiches and the smashed butternut squash. The Buddha bowl was interesting and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient and we appreciated being warned of the 25 mins wait. We’ll return.

This is a Pavarotti of a coffee shop- that is an absolute virtuoso with a serious wait problem. So popular they’ve clearly expanded to serve more tables with just a hot plate style kitchen which is remarkable but the speed of service means I won’t be returning and it was embarrassing to take guests

Visited here again recently for a coffee and it was great. I had a flat white with oat milk which was as delicious as usual. They were as busy as always but the service was polite, friendly and pretty quick considering. A South East London gem!

I can’t rate the food and coffee highly enough, absolutely spot on. But it took half an hour to get a black coffee and over an hour to get a bagel. I understand the kitchen is small and there are few staff, but then there are too many tables accepting too many customers because the service is horrific. Have had to stop bringing anyone here who is actually hungry or doesn’t have 2hrs for coffee and a bagel.

Went here last weekend and not sure how we didn’t already know about it. Kind of want to keep it a local hidden gem but won’t ;-) We both had flat white’s (with oat milk) which were delicious; banana bread (absolutely incredible!); I had the Korean pancakes (outstanding!) and my friend had the vegetarian breakfast which he loved too. We both had the trauma of struggling to order as there were about three other dishes on the menu we wanted to try. So, we’ll just have to come back! The service was really friendly and welcoming. It was a little slow but simply because the space is tiny; everything is made to order in said tiny space and it’s so popular and busy. Go! You won’t be disappointed - we can’t wait to return. Few steps from Deptford Train Station and about ten mins walk from the DLR. Please note, there are no toilets.

I come here every day with a friend, sometimes twice, and have been doing so for almost two years now. I felt the need to write this review after reading the two reviews complaining about the amount of time it takes for food/drinks to arrive. The staff work hard to make sure that everything arrives in good time, but the kitchen IS small, and so if every table is taken, of course it will take some time. People should use basic common sense with this - if you don't want to wait then don't order any food! The staff are lovely, I doubt anybody was 'snippy', but I would also be a bit frustrated if people kept asking about the status of their order when the place is clearly very busy. On that note, it's busy for a reason - the food is lovely, and the coffee is the best in Deptford (no offense to the other reviewer who says it 'isn't even that good', but I wholeheartedly disagree with this - the coffee is roasted and ground in the shop, and both blends taste amazing - they also use very high quality milk which makes a huge difference). In summary, if you want to go somewhere to relax with a great coffee and some food in Deptford, then I recommend Lomond. And guess what - if you are nice to the staff they will be nice and welcoming back to you! Who knew?!

I admit I went in knowing that it's gonna be a wait for the food (judging by the size of that kitchen it's a miracle that they served cooked food - and not bad cooked food either). That's part of why I never bring people to this place since it's a bit of a crap shoot whether you get your breakfast in 10 minutes or half an hour. Still, after being told that it's a 20 - 25 minute wait, the food took around 45 minutes to arrive. Staff seems to feel inconvenienced if asked whether the order's been placed and treats the fact that waiting for a meal for 3/4 of an hour as normal. And the coffee's not even that good. Deptford and Greenwich has other cafes. I'm gonna go there next time.

The setting is great, the coffee was nice, but 2 members of staff were snippy to me, so I would pick another coffee bar in the square next time. We waited 10 minutes for 4 coffees, and when I went to the counter to politely enquire about our drink (cos I know sometimes orders get lost), the waitress was snippy (I just made that word up, it's a kind of mini version of snappy) and said YES I'M MAKING THEM, in an annoyed tone. They did arrive, one by one, over the next 5 minutes. I didn't actually mind the late coffees, but I did mind the snippiness.

Lomond Coffee is by far the best brunch spot in the Deptford and Greenwich area. I find any excuse to go there whether for brunch (try the Sweetcorn fritters or Kimchi pancake), lunch (Chicken Avo on sourdough, please), coffee (Smoooth) or a weekend treat (salted caramel brownie... peanut butter slice...DROOL). It's a weekend staple. Plus you'll always receive service with a smile :)

Revisited this tiny relaxed and stylish cafe for Sunday brunch to make up with a friend.Had the spicy and tasty breakfast burrito and a vegan peanut butter cup bar. They roast their own beans and I was there to buy some had two doubles of the very rounded and distinctive market blend- tap water offered without asking. We finished with a donut and a vegan bar. Dog friendly with outside seating. An oasis in busy Deptford with some interresting shops in the yard - especially the plant snd flower arch.
