Visited for lunch. Not a vast selection, but everything was cooked and presented well. Service was very good. Parking can be a challenge if the hotel or restaurant is busy.

Not as good as it was. Pity we can walk there. Used to be much better. New ownership may make it better.

Nice atmosphere and nice food. Good choice of menu and the food came hot warm. No pressure to rush your meal.

Went to ladies who Lunch last Thursday. I go to meet my friends, enjoy a speaker and have a good lunch. I was not disappointed. The new menu is an improvement, offering a range of dishes to suit all tastes.I had the pork from the Specials menu, it was superbly cooked Also serving the vegetables on the plates was a good idea especially with tables of more than four people . I loved the Tiramasu for pudding. The service was as usual first class and I thought the tablecloths looked good, although I nearly spilt my wine when I put the glass back on the joined tables hidden under the cloth. Looking forward to going back in September

We only went for Sunday lunch & did not stay overnight, however we had great table position, good service with very attentive young man. All four of us had different 3 courses but they managed to get all four choices served to the correct person & all at same time! Great! Food was tasty & atmosphere was relaxed so very pleased with everything.

Beautiful food - with a wide selection to suit all tastes. High standard of food for a reasonable price. Romantic place. Book in advance for Sundays and for evening meals.

There were 29 of us that went here for my friends birthday and everything went according to plan. We gave our pre order of what we all wanted and it all came on time and was hot. The staff were very polite and the owners make you feel at ease whether you were in the restaurant or the bar it has a family atmosphere. They catered for our needs and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to feel relaxed and know that nothing is too much trouble for them.

Good selection of dishes at fair prices. Efficient and polite service. Yes I would eat here again. Set menus great value.

The quality and quantity of the food cannot be faulted, and is excellent value for money. The dinner menu is extensive and food is hot and very fresh tasting. A 'traditional' dining experience overall, and it does feel as though you're in somebody's front room, especially when it is quiet. The service is a little hit and miss - the waitress clearly hadn't served tea/coffee before - but she was endearing and very cheerful.

Have been to this restaurant many times and always been very happy and saisfied with the excellent food, well cooked and plentiful. Excellent wide choice of menu. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere and wonderful service. Bob and Ken are great hosts and our waitress, Lin made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. If you haven't been before give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Ten of us for Saturday lunch all having different choices was managed so well and the food was well cooked and well presented. All of us were impressed particularly two professional chefs in the party! Praise indeed! Highly recommended by all.

First time certainly not the last, Had an amazing lunch, lots of choice on main menu, starters and desserts. Defy anyone not to find something they like. All beautifully presented, veggies really fresh and plentiful, Lovely lady serving, the only one member of staff in dining room and she worked it like clockwork but still kept smiling, very well done that lady. Can't speak highly enough, will be back soon. Very reasonably priced.

Had many lovely meals here none have ever been less than incredible and the staff are all extremely helpful and attentive.

Popped in one Saturday evening to be greeted by delightful waiting staff who were more than willing to ask the chef, the wonderful Dennis, to accommodate a request for very well done food. The food was absolutely delicious and the after dinner drinks, accompanied by the wonderful South Walian hospitality of Ken and Bob, will certainly keep us coming back for more. What a thrilling find!! 🎉🍾💙🍾💖

Consistently good food in quality surroundings, with friendly and caring service. Excellent value for money too. Two dining rooms to choose from - one elegant and comfortable overlooking the garden, and a new Conservatory decorated in ritzy chrome and glass with black upholstered chairs.

We too visited this restaurant for my birthday meal last night. Not sure what has happened since the good lunch time reviews of the past but I have to agree with "disgusting." My friend's meal was inedible and it was returned, we all said that it appeared and tasted like a prepacked meal, which was refuted by the waitress. The starter of garlic mushrooms was under cooked and the chicken wings tough. Our steaks were average and the tray of veg was mushy and also seemed as though it had been micro waved. We passed on the dessert. In all fairness my friend was not charged for her returned meal but it was very disappointing overall. We shall not be returning either.

A reservation for a birthday celebration. Ruined. A bar without beer or a drinkable whisky. Awful food , everything microwaved except the "mashed potato" which appeared to be "Smash" . The birthday girl took one forkful of her main course and couldn't face more. An hour later we were still trying to get the aftertaste out of our mouth's. Disgusting. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. The Birthday girl was a regular and one of the "Ladies Who Lunch" . Never again .

Have been several times and due to go again on 4th May.Something to look forward to.Nothing is too much trouble the food is served fresh, hot to the table on hot plates.Great for a family function or just for a couple , or on your own.

Thursday 21st.April Lodwicks held one of their regular Ladies who Lunch sessions, they had booked a great speaker & all the food was perfect & plentiful. Everyone makes their choices off of a large & varied menu, then when the speaker was talking all the food was cooked to order, simply couldn't be better.

Standard of food is always high, great Sunday Lunch. Have never had a bad meal there. Menu has good variety. it is popular especially on Sunday's so best to book in advance.

We went to Lodwicks on Thurday 22nd October as a group of eight ladies, two of which required gluten free meals, all looking for a lovely night out. Well we weren't disappointed. The staff were very attentive to our needs and when our meals arrived they were fab, couldn't fault anything. Certainly will be going back soon!!

"Proper" food, so bring a good appetite. Bob and Ken now all about real food. It is well cooked, nicely presented and fairly priced. What more could you ask?

The restaurant was very quiet. Only one waitress, so it was a good job!Chose from the set menu as the choice of dishes looked lovely.The food was indeed very nice. Small portions, but enough food to eat and not bad value for money. Would be happy to go again, better than average, good, but not very good.

A great restaurant with a superb menu, lots of choice. We've visited here many times and always really enjoyed the food. The staff have always been friendly and fun with great service. Would recommend without hesitation....

Lodwicks restaurant is the restaurant within The Rustington Manor Hotel so it looks to me as if this restaurant is on trip advisor twice. The environment is contemporary and inviting, the food was tasty with ample portions and the service exemplary. We had the beef and turkey roast dinner....followed by the incredibly naughty sticky toffee pudding! We will return here time and time again as the menu is so varied we are unlikely to get bored. Thank you for a wonderful experience

We wanted a quiet meal to celebrate a birthday. Despite asking if there was any party groups and told no that was not what we got. There was a large party of very noisy people who too over the restaurant with their noise. The food was not great,the service mediocre because of the large party al in all a disappointment. I thin Bob and partner are getting greedy.

Good food, staff and was good for a private party! The drinks were to a good standard and it was a friendly atmosphere.

I had private use of the restaurant for my 60th birthday. The atmosphere was just perfect. It was relaxedand attentive. I was offered a special menu at a reasonable price and charged no extra for private use of the restaurant.I have also eaten here on several other occasions and its always very good value for money. The restaurant and bar are very comfortable.

The lovely furnishings and décor are a great addition to making the meal out feel extra special.Ken and Bob are brilliant hosts as are all the front of house team.Food and service are always excellent.
