Lj's Sandwich Club in Bexley

I placed an order today on uber eats and ordered a bacon and cheese panini, cheesy chips and an oreo milkshake with cream. This is my first time ordering from here but read the reviews beforehand and thought it was going to be good. When the food arrived, the panini was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The chips were slightly warm but the chips themselves weren't even cooked properly. My milkshake also hadn't come with cream, which I had to pay extra for. Would not recommend ordering a takeaway from here

baguette was lovely but those hand cut chips were amazing 👏

I mistakenly ordered baguette instead of panini so not the shops fault as food usually fab but delivery drivers took hour to deliver stone cold

no mayo as requested. crisps out of date. poor

Use them often and always had great food. Don’t go anywhere else.

Really nice just needs some more beans on the jacket potatoe was a little dry but other than that it was really nice

It was okay. The problem with this place is they seem to never quite have all the ingredients for the salad you order - this time it was the coleslaw. Instead of ringing and asking what to do, they gave some cake slices. It was nice and all, but tbh I wanted the coleslaw…

Latte taste just of milk an Carmel an paid extra for cream but wasn’t on there

the coronation chicken panini was very bland to normal and not alot of filling. chips weren't very fresh and had alot of unexpected salt on. the Tuna & cheese pannini was missing tomatoes

They do nice large baguettes filled with a variety of tasty centres.

Driver stopped off at another restaurant.

Delivery was later than expected as finding driver but got a phone call from who I ordered from to say waiting on driver which I appreciated.

Visited today with mum and ordered toasties, one with cheese and the other cheese and ham. Also ordered latte and tea. Orders taken quickly and with a smile. Food delivered to the table hot from the toastie maker with cheese perfectly melted. Also ordered a takeaway cheese and ham toastie. There is on-street parking for about 5 cars with 1 hour parking. The cafe is wheelchair accessible with a small ramp to take from street. In all, a very pleasant experience, with friendly staff and will definitely return again soon.

Food is OK but one staff member was very rude. No more visits here ever! Manners cost nothing. Service is appalling. Better to go elsewhere and spend your Money!

Never had an issue with this establishment but todays order hardly any ingredients on jacket and never failed before could barely see avocado cheese or corned beef perhaps new staff not sure

Great to have an option like this close by. A good quality deli, not greasy fry ups or burgers but nice lunch options, salads, soups and sandwiches. The salads are particularly nice

Ordered salt beef baguette and they didn’t even put butter or any sauce in my food, literally one thin slice of salt beef was put in my baguette and that was it, dry and disgusting for nearly £8 will never order from this place again can’t even be bothered to put butter in a bit of bread

Absolutely delicious loved the salad and the quality and quantity was just enough definitely will order from here again.

Was really nice, only thing I was disappointed with is that there wasn’t any cheese in my chicken panini, and wasn’t an option to choose that either

Another great order from LJ’s! During this ‘cost of living crisis’, I’m finding a lot of takeaways disappointing and a waste of money but LJ’s is the exception. Lovely, fresh and well-filled sandwiches that are value for money and 100 times better than that well-known sandwich chain beginning with ‘S’. The salt beef baguette and chocolate brownie I had today were lovely, I’ve definitely found my new working from home ‘treat’ lunch there.

Worth the price for the portion sizes Milkshakes are so good! Seems to take ages to assign a courier and get delivered at the moment but can’t really fault the restaurant for that

Great salad options and fry ups, portions a little small imo and the chicken options I was expecting to be mayo based as otherwise a little dry but great quality and v fresh

The food was great! The sausage baguette had plenty of brown sauce & tasted fresh. The Snickers milkshake was also very tasty & tasted like a Snickers. However, the sausage roll was a little on the dry side. Looking forward to ordering from LJ's Sandwich Club again soon!

Asked for well done bacon but it arrived cold and had thick white fat with barely any onions. Happy with kids meals and the cookies are gorgeous just a shame about the baguette

I have frequented this fine Sandwich club/ cafe/ restaurant for nearly a year and almost every day! The staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful and the food provided is well cooked! Salad box was just lettuce. It was missing tomato, cucumber and red onions . I added extras to the salad box which was nice but the original salad box I paid £3.64 for was a box of lettuce.

Chicken looked like processed chicken, for price expect to be better products. Didn’t have much taste, milkshake was good though.

Don’t order from here . Items that I did order were missing and the orders that did arrive were correct . Difficult to understand how they could mess up so bad when there was only 3 items in total they had to get correct . Advice is to avoid .

LJ’s are really great, food is lovely and arrives in time or early. The baguettes are Always fresh and packed with filling.

Food was abysmal, stone cold wrap, milkshake looked like it had been sat in a warm cupboard for days on end and then quickly had a couple ice cubes chucked in. Would never order from here again

Got a roll not even the bagel that was ordered and the roll was stale and the filling tasted dusty and grainy! Awful place wouldn’t ever recommend or use again 🤢🤮

When order arrived it was wrong & bacon baguette was cold. Rang restaurant & the person who answered couldn't understand me, a young lady took the call & tried to say that I had I ordered incorrectly. There is also a price difference in what I ordered & what I have received. We normally always order from LJ's, we won't be in the future.

Very disappointed with the service from LJ's today. Order was wrong when it arrived & bacon baguette was cold. I rang the restuarant & the 1st person who answered, couldn't understand me. The young lady who took the call, said that I ordered incorrectly, but the item I ordered was more expensive than item I received. Apparently there was no-one else I could speak too. I won't be ordering from here again!

This is a modest sized cafe that sells an excellent variety of sandwiches, cake, tea, coffee, and so much more. It's friendly, down to earth, and I love coming here. There is additional seating at the front and rear of the cafe, and it is competitively priced. The staff are friendly and efficient. Laura is superb and always has a kind word. There is parking available outside the cafe, but if that is full, there is a large carpark opposite the BP garage behind the supermarket. Well done!

chicken warp was like mush and soggy not very appealing and hardly any chicken, jam donut and Victoria sponge were stale lol even the kids wouldn't eat them.

Breakfast looked as if was chucked into one container and only shown to the grill. No marshmallows or whipped cream (paid extra for). Inedible could not bring myself to put the food in my mouth

Menu does not describe the different items enough or clearly at all…the chicken and bacon baguette comes as a baguette with sandwich filler, this should be better labelled on the menu as I do not eat mayo due to an allergy. Also, just saying salad with out describing what is in said salad is poor description/advertising. I do not recommend this establishment via just eat.
