After reading the reviews here we must have called on a nightmare day...ordered soup, it arrived lukewarm and spilling over dish. Asked for it to be reheated, came back slightly warmer but with very greasy croutons, completely inedible. First time I've ever felt the need to up sticks and leave a cafe without paying.

We had a large breakfast here and a small and they was both very nice. The price was very reasonable and all top quality ingredients.

Located in Pass Courtyard just off Market Street this cafe is one of the best, if not the best in Ashby de la Zouch. Word of mouth has obviously had a big effect, as well it should. Great good value food and friendly service nothing was too much trouble.

We were in Ashby for the first time and in the worst weather. We were cold and wet but had such a warm welcome in a bright and warm cafe. Betty's was excellent, one of the best lunches we have had. My husband had the full English breakfast and I had a cheese omelette with salad. All freshly cooked to order and had to wait no time at all. Very friendly staff too.

Whenever I visit Little Betty's Café, I always get welcomed with a smile and a friendly hello. The food order is taken very quickly and efficiently. There is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, whichever time you visit there. The food is freshly cooked and served with a smile. Plus the menu is good for light bites, snacks, tea and coffee, breakfast and lunch items and is good value for money. I recommend calling at Little Betty's when visiting this lovely market town.

Quite small, in keeping with the character of the alleyways, so if you find it a bit busy (and its very popular with a stream of loyal locals) you could ask to be sat out the back in the type of conservatory. Food was really quick! You do get one or two older locals who are put out if 'their' table is taken or they have to wait, but I find this amusing not offensive and the staff are politely capable at shepherding them away to a spare table ;) menu is just right, not too big and not too small.

What a lovely Tea Rooms. Good menu, lovely food, great friendly service. May not be on the Main Street, but a great find, and pleased we did.

Super service the staff are excellent and attentive to their customers. The food is first class and was served hot. The menu features all the cafe favourites you would want to enjoy. I will certainly return again soon.

Our party of 9 arrived on a Saturday lunchtime without appointment and we were well looked after. Two tables were put together quickly and all of our food and drinks orders were delivered with a smile and plenty of pleasantries, by Betty herself. Many thanks for looking after us so well.

If you are anti costbucks coffee shops try this gem in Ashby De La Zouch. Just off the high street, down one of the many alleyways. Excellent menu of good priced food and drinks. Service from Rachel and her colleagues was excellent.

Great Sunday Lunch as always! The food is always delicious and the chocolate brownie always goes down a treat! The staff were rushed off their feet but all of them were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Nice place with plenty of parking and friendly staff. Just avoid at the school run time as the car park gets rammed with parents collecting the kids so access is limited

Really great experience. Friendly staff, well organised and well ran. Carvery was very good I had the beef my wife the steak pie which she said was amazing. The veg and gravy was really really good. My son had the burger and he enjoyed it. Lots of the food is supplied locally according to the website which is great. Really nice pub, even had an open fire, busy for a Tuesday lunchtime which was great to see.
