Little Acorns in York

Great little place with homemade cakes and scones and they are the best ever Friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

This is a great little business. We had ploughman's and a cheese scone. Hot chocolate and latte for drinks. All were delicious and great portions. Lovely,friendly staff and a happy all round atmosphere deserve a ten out of ten in every way. An asset to the village.

My fiancee and I drove all the way from Leeds after a very stressful week. Needed a recharge. My fiancee had full English breakfast with latte. Food wasn't to greasy and freshly cooked. My fiancee gave it 100 and first time that much food beat him. I had cheese scone and latte was amazing. Staff were very friendly and made two feel welcome. Defiantly be coming back once a fortnight and regulars. Food was worth the price and highly recommended 👌.

We regularly visit Little Acorns as we live in the village, my husband in particular is a regular for his morning hot drink on the nursery run. There is a good selection of drinks and there is a discount if you take your own travel cup. Sitting in or taking away, the food is always fresh and tasty. Andy and his team are exceptionally friendly and there is always a warm welcome.

Always a real pleasure to visit. With plenty of things to choose from. Jenny and Andrew's cafe is a real asset to the village

Met up with some relatives here had a nice coffee and a homemade scone The menu board had loads of nice things to eat and it is dog friendly

Called here after having a small walk with the dogs I had a nice cup of tea and a lady filled the tea pot up with hot water When I went to Pali got a take away of a Bakewell tart a custard slice and a piece of quiche all of which was very good

I’ve been here many times but the food is absolutely gorgeous and the chocolate orange brownie cake I would so recommend. Love to come here with my friends just for the food, best food ever!! 😋😂

Hreat home made grub as always, called in today whilst feeling quite low, but a crispy bacon and mushroom sandwich, followed by coconut cake, accompanied by two perfect flat white coffees and i left a happy man!!😀

Having moved to the area I wanted to treat those who helped me move to a bite to eat as a way of thanks. At the time the public house next door didn't serve food and my sister saw the Café. What a delight too. Very friendly staff accommodated us all and worked extremely hard to satisfy the hungry helpers. Wonderful fried breakfasts were provided all at the same time (not leaving anyone waiting and the desserts (which we took away) were beautiful. Will be sure to revisit and highly recommend.

We found this friendly, little cafe in the heart of Copmanthorpe, York and popped in for lunch. What a lovely place and such attentive staff. The choices were fairly limited but there was no doubting the quality of the food and service. Spacing is limited but it was not busy so didn’t effect our experience. Many thanks for making us feel so welcome.

I live in York and Acorns is in one of the surrounding villages. I was meeting a friend here during the week for lunch. I had coffee, a homemade soup and a piece of bakewell tart. All was tasty and reasonably priced.

Having first gone to the wrong place, we eventually found this little gem 'Little Acorns' (The postcode shown on Trip Advisor is incorrect. It should be YO23 3ST) It was well worth the detour. The breakfast was excellent and the service could not have been more friendly. Our only complaint is that the cakes on display looked so delicious, we felt compelled to buy 4 of them to munch on our long journey home. They did not disappoint!

Popped in for lunch. The range of options aren’t huge (soup, sausage roll, quiche etc) but my soup was tasty and fresh tasting. Coffee was fine too. Breakfast menu had a few more options though. Quite a nice set up decor wise.

Called in and had bespoke bacon and mushroom sandwich, and a flat white, plus 2 home made Eccles cakes to go, a real treat, excellent food, great coffee, friendly service, highly recommended.

Delicious home made cakes with your choice of beverage served by friendly staff in a lovely village. What more could you want? Well worth a visit; this Little Acorn could easily grow into a Mighty Oak!!

I’m a fairly regular visitor to little acorns cafe, enjoying the cooked to order food especially the bacon butties wit the bacon cooked just how I like it! Also highly recommended are the home made Eccles Cakes, delicious!!!

So a quick lunch, on the fly, great bacon butty and home made sausage roll, washed down with a decent cappuccino, what’s not to like? Quick friendly service, good value for money and prices!
