Really great coffee, authentic no nonsense Portuguese cafe and grocery store. Use it or lose it as they say. Will go again.

Visited this week and it was closed. Well within advertised opening hours. Mid afternoon Wednesday 12th April. Please update if this branch is now no longer trading.

A nice Portugese Patisserie. Was able to sit down for a cappuccino and Pastel de nata. Cheap coffee although the pastel was quite small for what it was. Downfall is that there isn’t much seating as only 2 really small (2people tables). Great shop to get your traditional Portugese stuff and bakery however.

In my opinion Lisboa serves the best pastel de nata out of all the shops on South Lambeth Road and nearby. It's a shame there isn't a nicer and more comfortable seating area to enjoy them with a coffee. Now that Delicias on Wandsworth Road has been redone it's much nicer to go and sit there for a nata (second best!) and coffee.

To be honest, I've never really tried Portuguese food. Hanging out in this area though seemed like a great place to get to try some. My friend and I walked in, it wasn't busy but the customer before us had a long order. Another employee noticed and came over to help us, paitently explaining what was in the pastry I wanted. I ended up with a delicious almond pastry. I look forward to having more Portuguese food in the future after this great experience.

In the part if London called "Little Portugal" we have many local shops owned and frequented by Portuguese and one of the best is the Lisboa Patisserie! If you are nearby don't miss the chance to try the custard cream doughnuts, 0,95p for a taste of Heaven!!!

This is the basic stuff. The pastries are good, the service is terrible; they just want to put you out of the door as fast as possible! To add to that, the cleaning is not their best quality as the Patisserie looks always dirty...

You'll find here a complete range of portuguese pastries, and it's a challenge to decide which one to take. The pasteis de nata are probably the best I've had in London.

The review below upsets me because this isn't a wedding cake shop! Yes, they make cakes, but they're a cafe with a deli attached, not a patisserie extraordinaire! Lisboa makes all of its own (individual) cakes and they're gone by 11am on weekdays and weekends because they sell out and they only sell fresh - surely this is a good sign? It's cheap as chips, the coffee is great (you can't go wrong with Delta, really) and the mixed sandwiches/croissants are yummy. They have all the Compal juices to choose from and Ucal and Sumol to boot, in addition to all the Portuguese hams and cheeses you would want to take home for a tasty lunch. There are no tables, you eat your cakes and drink your coffee at the counter (as you would do in most cafes in Portugal) and can spend a couple of hours watching the Portuguese community go by. I have been going to Lisboa for years and have brought all friends visiting London to it. It is quieter than the Portobello branch and has all the same products. Please try it!

My Wife is Portuguese and she was very keen in using the Lisboa Patisserie for our wedding cake. Visit them a month earlier and selected the cake she wanted. The day prior to the wedding my Dad and I drove to the Patisserie, paid for the cake and we were give the 50 people cake (very heavy) in a cardboard tray without a proper cover, we were told: The Chef said he did not have a top to cover it due to the decoration, we were suggested to get a cardboard box to put on the top of it (but were not offered one and we generally do not carry a cardboard box with us.) Anyway the covering was not the issue, we decided not to place the cake in the car boot as it may have moved and get damaged and to limit any movement , my dad sat in the back seat holding the cake... 5 minutes driving and we could see the cake blowing from the bottom due to its own weight, the wobbling cake also started eventually to crack to crack. No inside support (wooden or metal frame was present and due to the height and weight of the cake it is normal that outside a fridge it started to deform.) We managed to arrive at destination and the cake although not in pristine conditions was at least still in one piece, we used whip cream the next day to fill the cracks. We also complaint the same day to the Patisserie and eventually spoke with the owner Carlos Gomes who was quite abrupt and rude and kept repeating that once we take the cake out of the patisserie it is our problem. He did not comment on the fact that no support or cover was given to reduce the risk of the cake being damaged or offered any apology. Although the products are good we will never use the Lisboa Patisserie in future as this could have ruin a day we planned a long time before, and all went well... but the cake was the only thing that was not great.

Disappointed! Ordered some food and a drink. Barely started eating and was Informed by the server that I had 20 minutes to finish because the table has now been booked even though there were plenty of other tables available. Very strange attitude. Will not recommend.

This is a review of Frida’s, which doesn’t seem to be on TripAdvisor. The food was dull and flavourless. The nachos were OK, and the guacamole was good but the beef burrito was just mince and rice in a wrap. No spice, no flavour. And the “sour cream” that came with it was the consistency of milk - is it watered down? The chicken burrito was marginally better but the tacos were tasteless as well.
