The atmosphere was really good and the bartender was a decent bloke. I ordered a steak and my girlfriend ordered six chicken wings. It was honestly quite expensive but it was decent feed. A great local pub

Stumbled across this place as we were staying in the Park Plaza Riverbank, a few minutes walk and what a find it was!! It was so good that we visited both nights on our two night stay in London. Food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced for an establishment of its nature and in the location that it is. I would return again in a heartbeat during my next stay in London and would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous cocktails and food, and our bartender, Michael, was most generous and spectacularly creative surprising our daughters with a rose-themed dessert! Love this gorgeous pub!

We have just enjoyed our evening at The Rose 🌹 so much. It’s my 3rd visit in two days and I have to say , the service we received has been amazing. The person who recruited Olivia has to be commended as Olivia is the the benchmark for what customer service means

Service is only good when the female staff are on. The gents working there are slack as hell and utterly slow.

Great pub. The service was off the charts and if the competition are reading this you should make the amazing Roxanna a huge offer as she is an asset to any business.

What a lovely pub! The food, drinks, and service were perfect! Our waitress, Roseann or Rosanna from Poland, was delightful and so friendly! I’d give The Rose and our waitress 5 stars!

Very tasty drinks but the music is blasting. Can’t hear anyone and have to yell at the top of your lungs to talk to anyone.

Nice enough boozer: worth a visit for its riverside location. Food and beer is fine (if unexceptional). Service mixed - very friendly table staff, slow service at the bar.

I happened to walk past this pub and seen it had been renovated. The outside seating area was lovely and such a sun trap, I loved the fairy lights outside, a great touch. I was impressed with such a good wine list for a pub. When we looked at the menu, we seen they did a set lunch for £10, I had to look twice as this price is unbelievable. I opted for the bangers and mash, everything about this meal was perfect.  The Cumberland sausages were juicy and full of flavour,  the mash was so creamy, the onion rings were the right amount of batter vs onion and finally the gravy, you can tell this is made in house. It was full of flavour and just topped the meal off. It was a perfect ambiance both inside and out. I’m definitely going to try the the Sunday lunch which I think will be great fun as they have a live singer. This pub  is just what’s needed In the area Can't wait to come back.

Found this Pub on the Riverbank on the Thames. Our food was very good & a nice selection of beers. Certainly worth a visit!

We ended up at “The Rose” by chance. The ambience and the very friendly staff alone are worth coming back. Upon request, the bartender mixed us a cocktail outside of the drinks menu. Great and would love to come back!

We loved the Rose! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency just about 2 blocks down the street and visited about 5 different times either for drinks or lunch/dinner ! The staff were absolutely wonderful, the food and drinks great....but the staff is what truly brought us back!

Great customer service, our waiter was great and the food was tasty. Was there for lunch. I would go back for a meal and drinks.

We were thrilled to find a place that served gluten-free and plant-based food near our hotel. The service was fantastic and our food was delicious.

I really enjoy coming here for Sunday roast and hearing the jazz music and enjoying the ambience. My only recommendation would be for the staff to be better trained in customer service, as it really can be hit and miss.

We heard about this new pub opening and had to try it. I had the grand beef burger. It was amazing. The burger was so juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries were the best I have ever tried. I don't know what the seasoning was but it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Was expecting a pub but was a lot fancier, with only seats at the bar for drinks. Lovely decor and nice view of the river. Friendly staff and very tasty food too!

Tonight we had our dinner here. The servic from Roxana was realy great and friendly.

Roxana was so amazing and made this evening so great. We came in spontaneously and stayed the whole evening. The service was so amazing and the food was great. We waite a little bit long for the food to be served, but that was definitely worth it. All in all a must visit when you're around!

Went to this pub for an Easter lunch with my mum. Absolutely delicious food. Mum had the roast chicken and I had the fish and chips. The portions were huge and very tasty. We were very well looked after by Roxanne for the whole time we were there. We will be back!

We ended up there by chance because of the live music. We were greeted by a smiling waitress called Roksana, which is almost unusual for London. That was our last and most beautiful evening in London, thanks to Roksana.

We were in London for a few days and my son had fish and chips in a few places but reckoned The Rose was the best. My burger was delicious. Staff were excellent and very friendly. We prebooked at luchtime last Sunday for a table for four. This place is lovely and airy, across the road from The Thames so you get some nice enough views depending where you're sat. It has a proper home owned pub feel about it. Look out for the flower display on the stairs, absolutely beautiful. We all had the Sunday lunch, two roast beefs, a chicken & a lamb. I requested my beef be pink, which it was, the chicken was a half chicken, too much for my wife which meant that I got the thigh/drumstick. My friend had the lamb & he said it was cooked beautifully but lacked a bit of flavour. All the veggies were cooked aldente, the roasties were crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside & the yorkshire pudding was spectacular, clearly homemade... couldn't fault it. After we'd eaten, there was life jazz being played in the other side, which was nice, so we hung about & had a few more drinks. All in all, we all eat & drank our fill & left happy. I would definitely return next time I'm in the big smoke.

This is my sons old local, and whilst I was visiting last weekend, we popped in . It really has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. Vibrant place and the food is tasty and quality.

Nice pub with good food and reasonable prices. Features burgers rather heavily though. River views are a bit distant tbh and we certainly couldn’t even see outside where we were sat on the ground floor. When we arrived it was a pleasant ambiance but later on they put on music which was loud enough to make everyone talk loudly and make it difficult to hold a conversation. Service was attentive - a bit too much so. I don’t like it when they snatch plates away the minute you finish when others in the party are still eating. Coffee machine was apparently not working.

We had a family party there this weekend for my partners birthday, we hired the amazing room upstairs for a private party during the evening. What a view! Looking across the Thames, lit up at night, the view was stunning. Our food from the buffet menu was delicious, and the music from the resident DJ was brilliant. It was such a memorable night and the staff here could not have been more accommodating. This was such an amazing night, thank you to all at The Rose who made it happen.

First time at Mezemiso and will be back again, fell in love with the view overlooking the Thames & Big Ben. Cocktails and service provided by Jeremiah was excellent! Shisha area was beautiful and service provided by Hazem hard to be matched.

Really nice lunch. I recommend the chicken sandwich, which is far fancier than it sounds. Chicken and bacon with blue cheese sauce in a baguette. Delicious!

Lovely pub 7 minutes walk from vauxhall station. A pint costs around £6 so average London prices. My only issue was that it was quite loud and there were a few very drunk individuals. They also service food but I did not try it.

Food service was an appalling. My partners meal was delivered and looked lovely. After 10 mins I was told my meal would be 2 mins… still waiting… I had to wait 20 minutes watching her eat the meal and after eventually asking where it was. She finished her meal, I told them to forget mine. Service is what this is all about- with food that starts in the kitchen. Chef - sort it out…

One of the best pubs in London. Vibrating and cozy atmosphere, excellent food and beer. But the surprise which really makes the difference is a beautiful and professional waiter. Freddy you made our dinners at the Rose an unforgettable experience!

Food is horrible. Service is awful. Owners are there completely drunk every weekend. I saw them screaming to their staff and kicking them out of the local. Completely inhuman. Would never let any of my friends or family to go to a place like this.

We were a group of 14 entertaining 5 French visitors. We booked for dinner and arrived at 7.30. Initially the background music whilst prominent, allowed us to talk. The food was good and as time passed the music seemed to get louder. about 9 oclock our guest wishesd to say a few words of thanks for the hospitality and at least four English members of our party asked if the music could be turned down for a FEW MINUTES to allow us exchange a few words. We asked about 4 members of staff who did not show any concern and certainly did not turn the music down which by this time had become unbearably loud. The visit to The Rose was therefore not satisfactory and we fear it is unlikely that any guests would want that level of noise non-stop. It is unlikely that visitors of any age would want the high noise level all evening. The most disturbing thing was the attitude of the staff who did not show any interest, concern, or care for a large party of older guests wishing to enjoy an English Pub !

Enjoyed a beautiful meal that was made even better by Roxane’s service. Thank you!!!

Nice venue, but a disappointing meal and very poor service / attitude from the guy we spoke to. Overlooking the Thames, this pub will tick a lot of boxes for vibe and location - Just a short walk from Vauxhaul tube station. We settled in for a bottle of red and pushed the boat out, ordering a couple of steaks, but after a long wait for the food to come out, it was well overcooked and tough as old boots. I wasn't in the mood to send it back and wait for a new steak, but no one came to check if our meal was ok anyway. When we eventually managed to grab attention and raise the issue, there was no apology or offer of a reduced bill or complimentary dessert. It's a shame really - But I won't be going back or recommending the venue.

Hugely expensive. One of the most expensive pubs in London. A bottle of cider, £10.70 is ridiculous. Put the prices down

Exceptional from all points of view! The we discovered it in November and it has become a regular place. The food is of a super level, the meats are cooked in a tasty way and the portions are rich, expertly plated, abundant! The vegetables were really excellent and the dessert every evening was truly spectacular, in short, a delicious ending. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The service was excellent! The staff stands out: smiling, attentive, friendly. Mister RADO made our evenings at THE ROSE pub applause with his kindness and professionalism. We will be back very soon! We celebrate my husbands birthday. We were 6 people. My son ate the steak and we had fish & chips. A bottle of proseco, glasses of their local beers and some cocktails. I love their mushroom soup. One of the best i tried. We liked their desserts too. The second floor was so cozy with their view of the river and little fireplace. ❤️

Absolutely shameful that this restaurant operates on a basis of stealing the wages from migrant workers. Not recommended at all.
