Friendly and welcoming staff. Food tasted great, they have a big menu so you will find something you'd like. Only thing is that they don't accept card and only take cash which is fine.

Exceptional for the price. My dad said it was ridiculous how good it is. We spent 27.50 and got 4 meals worth of food. All tasty, tender, great flavour. It's the perfect definition of a Chinese takeaway.

After trying this Chinese for the first time I was hooked, the food is great, the curry is amazing would definitely recommend to anyone.

Went for a quick takeaway. The place is rated 5 on hygiene rating. Ordered a chicken friend rice, requested chicken chowmien to be made spicy and it was topped up with enough green chillies to make it spicy as needed. The sweet corn chicken soup was also nice. Noticed that the prices have increased as compared to the old pictures of menu. Still quite reasonable compared to current market prices. Note that cutlery is provided at an extra 10p.

Portion is good. Beef was tender. Only problem is how sweet it is. I asked for seschuan and yet it's not spicy at all and like most Chinese places it's too sweet. Luckily this place isn't outrageously sweet like some others but this is annoying. Seschuan is supposed to be spicy, I know that much. I will try other items in future to search for something that's not a desert masquerading as a main. Price is good. £9.60 for main and boiled rice. For my second try I had the hot and spicy chicken. I thought it would be a bit plain but it was very good. Enough to bump up my review from 3 to 4. 3: The beef curry is very good. Well spiced and tasty beef. I'm going to change this from a 4 star to 5 star review. 4. The ginger and spring onion dish I had was subtle but good, though not my favourite. 5. The shredded beef chilli was very disappointing. It was very sweet and was not particularly hot, aside from the few pieces of chilli here and there. The beef was also battered and the beef pieces are so incredibly thin that I'm mostly eating batter! Very disappointed but no change to score.

My new favourite Chinese spot. The crispy chilli king prawns are just simply fantastic.

I asked for a open 3 in one and they charge me 10 P for a fork to eat it with And forgot one order, so had to wait for another one to be cooked again and overcharged me Wouldn’t recommend rude money grabbers

I used to use the Chinese when I was at school. I revisited 34 years later and I was glad to see it being run by the same family. Curry rice and chips or gravy rice and chips are knockout. Well recommend

We bought food over £20, we didn't get free prawn crackers. In other Chinese restaurants they give you free if you buy over £15. The food was not tasty.. it was a disappointment.

It's a bit harsh to have a rating for atmosphere here as it's a takeaway not a restaurant I guess they could have some seating whilst you wait.... Food is awesome service is quick.. oh I suppose you could say the only real downside to Lin Seng is it's cash only.

Lin Seng is a pretty decent Chinese takeaway, it's easy to access to pick up food and the menu is nice and varied. Fairly reasonable prices. Only complaint is that the food was quite salty.

Just had my first beef curry and egg fried rice from here, usually have the chicken curry & it was just perfection. I ate every single bit and that's not like me at all. Defo my weekly takeaway from now on. Defo recommend. Do not let the area put you off at all.

招牌炒飯足料夠煱氣，燒排骨扺食很滿足。午餐推介因早上營業時間到兩點。 Lin Seng Special Fried Rice is a must eat item. Spare rib in BBQ sauce is delicious. Open before 2pm is a great choice for lunch.

I was disappointed to find out that their drone deliveries require you to come in and pay cash. Kind of misses the point. But I managed to get home in time to receive it. I particularly enjoyed the "mystery meat chow mein"

We have tried many Chinese takeaway in the area and found this to be our favourite, the food has always been tasty. They don't skimp on ingredients like many these days, the special fried rice has plenty of meat and prawns in, others I have had you struggle to find the meat.

Twice I’ve turned up here to find it closed, despite it saying that it’s open online. A silly little note in the window doesn’t prevent a wasted trip. Update your hours.

This Chip shop is second to none, absolutely perfect, pleasant staff and food to die for. Perfect keep up with the good work. I travel approximately 5 miles each way to go to this Chip shop that will give you an inclination of how good the food is, if it's any interest I have been coming to this Chip shop since I was an apprentice aged 17, I am now 68.

I have no idea what’s in these sauces or even how they get the colour, however this chippy has been turning out the wonder stuff since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It’s equivalent to being cast away on a desert island for many years and finding a candy chocolate bar lapping in the surf on your morning forage for food. And all served up by a owner that’s clearly on first name terms with Indiana Jones and inherited the fountain of youth, or swapped it for the wonder stuff recipe.

I came here with my Father and we both brought Salt and Chilli Ribs and Salt and Chilli Shrimp they are both my most favourite dishes and tasted lovely.

We were recommended Lin Seng by a friend that lives nearby their restaurant and I can’t thank them enough for that recommendation. We ordered A LOT of different kinds of foods and I can say with confidence that everything tasted amazing! The quantity was definitely enough. Don’t forget to bring in cash!

Been going to this place since I was old enuff to walk with my parents I now live in wales and travel back on a regular just to have the delicious amazing food from here especially the gravey AMAZING and I now take my children here and they love it to . Amazing great food 100% recommend this you will be satisfied.

Have been using this take away for several years. But the quality has deteriorated.Meal the other evening, beef tough, and the chicken balls were no longer white breast meat but cheaper other pieces. Vey disappointed, will not use. Agai.

Fantastic Chinese and English food, My first choice for a Chinese take away like curry with chicken balls. Very nice people and I have used them for several years and will for many more.

In my "oranges" as I work for network rail have worked all through the lockdown I called in to buy pie & chips for my lunch it came to £5.10 they didn't accept card & I only had £5 cash on me instead of letting me "off" the 10p I had to leave the chips & have a pie which by the way was disgusting!! My 1st & last visit!!! I will be informing all my work colleagues to stay away!!!

One of the best Chinese and fish and chip shops in the Bristol/Filton area - I was lucky that I lived down the road from this place and used it on a regular basis (now I have moved I do miss it) - it was well supported and prices were reasonable You could either turn up or phone your order through and I did both and it was always ready. They do not do deliveries and take cash only Well supported by people in the local area and from outside and there is parking there too

Best Chinese food, been ordering food from them for years

It is what it is. The menu is as you'd expect from a traditional Chinese take away, there are no surprises. Unlike a lot of the other reviews I've never found the food to be exceptional but it's certainly not bad. I'm referring to the Chinese dishes. The english selection is always a bit hit and miss depending on the time of day and how busy they are. Timed right, the fishcakes are delicious. Get the timing wrong and they're as chewy as leather. The same goes for the chips. It's always easy to park, which is a bonus in this area as I feel some of the better takeaways around here lose out as there's nowhere to pull up. My advice, stick to the Chinese dishes dishes and you can't go far wrong. You'll never get a bad meal, it may just not be the best you've ever had.

The food here is okay but nothing special. Certainly not the best Chinese around and usually apprehensive about the quality of the food there when we occasionally visit. Only go there as it's local to where my partner lives or would go elsewhere.

Greatest gravy and chips on the planet. Been coming here for 20 plus years and never had a bad meal. Everything I've ever ordered has been fab. Now I've moved away I still make the 50 mile round trip once a month - it's that good. Highly recommended gravy and chips or half and half rice chips and gravy. Staff are amazing, love this place.
