This cafe had a fairly limited menu but was just right for the surroundings, we had really good shortbread with our morning coffee and delicious quiche for lunch, very satisfied, superior to similar facilities in other venues.

Great staff - most helpful. There was a very good range of drinks hot / cold / soft and alcoholic, which complemented a diverse range of eats from full cafe lunches to cream teas and sandwiches. This is a very good option and with outdoor seating - and a nearby playground for the kids.

We went on a cold dull mid week day when there was also a staff shortage in the cafe so possibly not typical of what they usually offer. The main fayre was pasties and sausage rolls with cakes including vegan options. If that's what you want then it was quite average. We usually eat whole and unprocessed foods with plenty of veg and this was not on offer. The building itself is very attractive and the staff were great but will take a packed lunch if we go to the museum again and just use the cafe for coffee.

Homemade tomato and pepper soup was excellent. Pasty, chips and beans were average. Cafe may well have been suffering from staff shortages as there was a long queue and a shortage of hot food but the staff on duty were working hard and doing a great job.

In the Amberley Museum the Limeburners Cafe is a very good place for a snack, or just drinks, while you are enjoying walking round the museum's exhibits. The cafe is clean, light and airy and wheelchair and pushchair friendly. There's seating both inside and outside. Served by friendly, helpful staff, the meals are ample in size and godd value for money.

Nearly a tenner for a cheese sandwich! The chutney was tasty but the bread and the cheese were both cheap and basic. The selection of drinks was limited. So many better places to go…
