Good value for money but not the best food or atmosphere

Tteok-bokki- 6/10- £8.50- the sauce was very viscous did not taste like the usual traditional Tteok-bokki

Food was good and price is reasonable. The beef bulgogi was really good. The portions for the kimchi pancake were small though but was still good.

Visited this local restaurant in my area and I must say it's a hidden gem..the food is flavorsome and the staff are fast and friendly-will come back again soon thankyou.

I've visited here at least five times whenever I crave authentic Korean food in London. (Having lived in Korea for 30 years, I'm very familiar with authentic flavours.) My favourites especially are the kimchi pancake, fried chicken, bibimbap. Compared to other Korean restaurants I've tried so far, the prices here are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this place!

I spent my easter here.. And i did the korean bbq and everything was filled with flavour..as much as the restaurant is a bit noisy and busy i would definetly bring my family back here

Visited here for Easter Dinner and must say the food is really tasty specially the bulgoji bbq and Korean fried chicken wings. Would definitely recommend a visit. Talking about customer service it was very poor. The waitresses weren't attentive at all and kept talking and laughing among themselves we tried gaining their attention as one of our friend needed water. The Indian waitress was rude to us when we asked her to pack out leftover she nodded and came back with a box for us to decide and figure out how to pack without saying a word. Disappointed service.

My husband and I visited Lime Orange on Easter Sunday. We’d been excited to visit as it was recommended to us, and it was our first time eating out at a Korean restaurant. I cook some Korean dishes at home, so we know the basic flavours etc and had set our hearts on trying Bibimbap. When the waitress came to take our order, she laughed into her iPad, telling us that there was only a 50/50 chance that we would like it since apparently many people don’t - which was a surprise since it seems to be a very popular dish. She tried to get us to order something else but we stuck to our guns and I’m glad we did because we both thoroughly enjoyed the food. So apart from almost being talked out of trying a very tasty dish, our experience was good and I would highly recommend it.

Food is quite good, kind of budget meals esp in this area. Would be great if rice can be a bit softer.

Good Food & fast service. We went in at 6.20pm and was able to leave for the Wicked show at 7.10pm. I recommend the Bibimbap & Pork Bulgogi

My daughter and I are traveling and stumbled on this little place. It's brilliant. She had the seafood upon. I had a chicken Katsu appetizer that was very well done. My main dish was the kimchee jiggae. It was brought in a stone bowl, still boiling. It was quite simply amazing. If you're in the West End and need a "not touristy" meal, this is a definite go to spot!

Very tasty food at devent prices and was in a handy location (near the theatres!). Very recommended to anyone in the area.

Tofu bibimbap here is really great!

Lovely food and portion. I went for a meal with my girlfriend. We shared a Budae-jjigae which coated around £30 but was huge portion, definitely enough to fill two stomachs! The fried chicken looked really nice too and the environment was very clean and full of Korean decor. I know some local Koreans come here to dine too. Best place to fill your Korean craves.

Super tasty local spot for Korean food. I got the Kimchi bibimbap. There are several vegan and vegetarian options and they are clearly marked.

If you go here, I recommend spicy stir-fried pork and soft tofu stew. Those two were the most delicious. Budae Jjigae is not bad, but I think the above two are the best at this restaurant. It tasted like what I had in Korea. Soy sauce-based meats were a bit salty for me. And the white rice is a bit dry and tasteless. They say that the restaurant has no choice but to make the bibimbap dry. However, even if it gets a little sticky, there won't be any problem in making bibimbap... That part was the most disappointing, and there is really no ventilation. It's no joke that your clothes smell when you leave. Smelly clothes will last for 2-3 days haha. You have to be prepared. However, the Korean male manager is very kind and helpful. The service was quite satisfactory. I was going to give it three stars, but the service was so good that I gave it four. Stir-fried pork and soft tofu stew can be rated 5 stars. The price is not that cheap. However, considering the location and the cost of living in London, it is a price that must be tolerated to some extent. please refer to this.

I stopped by the Korean restaurant closest to my accommodation. The owner doesn't seem to be Korean...there are no basic side dishes. Kimchi stew ramen is served in an earthen pot and topped with raw ramen. I asked for the kimchi stew to be cooked longer and ate it thoroughly. ^^ Surprisingly, the Jjambon ramen got cooked while I was eating it. The earthen pot bibimbap and pork on the next table also look delicious.

The place is near Victoria station, it is not very large and the atmosphere is very informal. We had dinner with work colleagues and in the end we had a good time. We took a bit of everything, the quantities were abundant, the flavor intense and good. We did not find fine dining but certainly pleasant cuisine. Advised!

한국분들 에게는 비추천 임니다. Don't go here if you're Korean. It's pretty hard to mess up rice but unlike the glutinous rice that it should be, it was so so dry. The pork bone soup had scarce soup which tasted of pure soy sauce and for some reason raw cucumber and carrots which you would NEVER find in Korea. Also had the smallest Korean kimchi pancakes I'd ever seen with very little actual kimchi in it. The only redeeming feature was the abundance of pork. I guess if you're western and have no expectations of what Korean food should be like, it might be palatable.

Non sarò il massimo esperto in cibo coreano ma in quelli a Roma dove ho mangiato, gestiti sia in cucina che in sala solo da coreani, erano decisamente diversi. Nessun antipasto di benvenuto come tradizione coreana vuole, mancavano dei piatti tipici coreani nel menu , il pollo non era male il resto per carità.. e dicono sia il miglior coreano di Londra.. mah

What a hidden gem! We needed a quick lunch before going to Wicked at The Apollo and this cosy restaurant fitted the bill and more! We are a family of six from age 7 to 77 and we all loved Lime Orange. Every mouthful was deliciously spicy and The staff are so friendly and helpful . We can't wait to go back

A really busy restaurant with great fast service which is ideal if you have a show booked. I went with my daughter, this was our first experience of Korean food. The starters were really tasty and filling. We weren't as impressed with the main courses or the seaweed starter but on the overall it was a good experience. I would definitely try Korean food again knowing what to expect now.

I love korean food so much that i had to try this… The bbq meats are tasty and me and my friends had the chance to try the grills by ourselves. The service is great and the staff are very quick… We had to wait more than 20 mins for a table but all worth it will definetly come back soon!!

What a find!!! My girlfriend and i were going to Hamilton and we needed a quick snack. We had seen this restaurant on insta and decided to try it out.. The food is really tasy..we had the chicken bbq and rice and lettuce which one of the staff recommended..and a bottle of jinro korean drink The staff was very friendly and very quick.. Our drinks arrived in a second. The restaurant is really busy and we didnt have a booking but the girl was kind to fix us in in few minutes of waiting Will definetly visit again when in london.

The food is great. The soju bottles are so good.. Its my fifth time coming and will def come back again to try the spicy soups for this weather

The overall taste was normal and the environment was acceptable. However, we experienced severe food poisoning few hours after the dinner, we had diarrhoea and vomiting and it lasted for 3 days!!!!!! We are not sure which dish caused us this severe illness but we guess it was come from the bibimbap as my husband nearly vomited the whole bowl of bibimbap!!!!!

Came back to Lime Orange after first trying Bibimbap here 6 years ago. The restaurant looks much the same, other than they've removed the bottles of hot sauce and soy sauce from the tables - you'll get a set portion with the meals rather than deciding for yourself what you want. Booking is unavailable between certain hours, and there was a wait for a table of about 20 minutes on a Thursday before 7pm - not the worst, there are pubs nearby to keep you entertained while you wait. What was less cool though was the wait for food - we ordered the Korean pancakes as a starter and Bibimbap for main soon after sitting down. 50 minutes later we were still waiting for any food to arrive. The food was okay, but that wait was inexcusable and I had been about to walk out after seeing others who came in later and ordered the same dishes being served earlier. Everything we ordered ended up coming at the same time, we ate quickly and left. Shame really, this place meant a lot to me once upon a time...

Overpriced and burnt bibimbap food. Staff are great though and quick service.

Everything was good except that the rice was too hard. Stew, ramen, and bulgogi are all delicious.

We came here during lunch just to try it out and were very pleasantly surprised. Granted it is not mind blowing in terms of the food but it's great value given the price and location. We ordered the soy fried chicken as a starter and the portion was quite decent. It was served fresh hot and definitely hit the spot for my kfc craving. The spicy pork rib soup was FILLED with soft and tender meat and I could barely finish the whole thing. For £12.50 the spicy pork rib soup (which comes with rice) is a pretty solid deal in this economy! 👏

Food is ok, but it doesn't taste korean. In korea or any korean restaurant seafood pancakes would be prepared with potatoes. This one is not. Prepeared more as leak pancake. Miso soup bitter, bimbimbap sauce bitter too! Very weird taste. 😕 Bravo who was making spinach! Spinach actualy prepared right and it was fresh, delicous and tasted the way it should. Also, its used raw egg on bimbimbap as it should have. So that is a highlight of the actual food. Some of rice was slightly undercooked. As massive korean food fan, who was in Korea to enjoy the culture and food, I was dissapointed a bit. It looked better than it tasted. Maybe one day...

Small place and it get so busy so be there early when it opens. Food is amazing, We ordered kimichi fried rice and 3 meat to grill, they have 2 tables with stove.

Food was good, the KBBQ left a lot to be desired. The meat was very "wet" and the server poured the whole plate of meat onto the bbq even though we told them not to as we's just gotten our starters, they said "this is how we do it"... the meat didn't grill properly because of the "wetness" and lack of space for pieces of meat that basically sat on top of each other. Not the way to cook the meat anywhere else I've been. The chicken wings and other food were good though.

As a restaurant, the way they respond to customer complaints is outrageous. My friend made a solo booking for her birthday - for whatever reason, they thought “being busy and forgetting” is justification for someone waiting to be served, being told they’ll be served shortly, then to end up never being served. She left after waiting near half an hour - so I reached out to them to make them aware of this experience so they could attempt to right a wrong. They asked for her email address, and 3 days later their means of making it right (considering the fact they ruined a birthday meal and a subsequent theatre showing) is saying sorry they were busy on that day and the feedback has been fed back to the team. Not even an invite to come down for a meal on the house and they’ll make it right. Terrible customer service - the food may look nice but be wary of the fact that they may not only forget to serve you, but when you do complain they won’t care regardless.

솔직히 가게 이름이 이상해서 의심했는데 먹자마자 진짜 감동… 이게 바로 진짜 한식이지라는 말이 절로 나오는 맛.. 두부김치 두부는 튀겨져서 나오는데 진짜 맛있어요. 꿔바로우처럼 겉이 찹쌀인듯한디 콩비린내 안나고 김치가 진짜 맛있어요.. 순두부찌개는 진짜 한국에서도 못하는 곳 많은데 여기 제대로네요. 제육도 맛있었어요. 런던 마지막날에 먹은게 진짜 아쉽네요 🥲🥲

I came into the restaurant solo on Tuesday at exactly 5pm when they opened and there was only one table sat before me. I was seated by the window and several other tables came in and were seated. 20 minutes passed and the waiter had still not come to take my order, yet all the tables after me which were about 6 had already been served their drinks so clearly had their orders taken before me despite coming in after. One of the waiters (man) signalled to me that he was coming but another 10 minutes went by and he did not. I got up and left. It was actually my birthday and I had chosen here to treat myself but unfortunately they ruined it and wasted my time as I had tickets to the theatre after so I could not settle in another restaurant without the risk of being late to the screening. The restaurant have now emailed me a generic apology showing lack of remorse or interest for ruining my birthday.

런던여행 숙소가 건너편 호텔이라 우연히 발견하게 됐어요..들어가보니 현지인들도 많이 찾는 맛집이더라구요. 춥고 지쳐있던 저녁. 우리가족을 기운나게 해준 한식이었어요. 김치찌개, 떡볶이, 뚝배기불고기, 비빔밥 모두 한국에 있는 식당처럼 정말 맛있었어요. 한국처럼 무료 밑반찬은 없지만 그래도 식사양은 괜찮았어요. 다만 아쉬운점은, 바닥이 너무 미끄러웠고, 뚝배기 식기류가 좀 낡고 상태가 좋지않아 보였어요~

I normally love Lime Orange and the food never disappoints but very disappointed with the customer service today. Today the wood or my table was all cut up and without realising it kept catching on my dress. I complained to my server and he said he tell the manager. I watched him do it and the manager never came over to apologise. Very disappointing

We ordered Miso soup, Korean fried chicken and Beef Bibimbap. Everything was decent and good. My wife liked the fried chicken sauce, which I'm not used to (I found to be a little sweet and sticky for my taste). However, both of us enjoyed the Beef Bibimbap bowl. Recommended for a hearty feel.

Just very simple very good food

We were a big group, and we had a great time. The food was delicious and well prepared. We all enjoyed it a lot. The service was polite and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant without anything particularly outstanding. My main recommendation is about ventilation. We left the restaurant with our clothes stinking of food. It shouldn't be like that.

I have never tried korean food but i must say this is a good find I had the seafood noodle soup ,i just forgot the names but it was delicious,i also tried marinated vegetables and it was okay…the service is good though the mains come very fast before you even finish the starters..there is also bbq smoke so incase you have problems with breathing dont sit near a bbq table….highly recommend though.. The food is great

It was an Amazing Sunday with a delicious Korean dinner and an excellent friendly and smiling service by a little girl. The place wasn't busy as expected it to be but the service was too quick. We placed an order and the drinks were on the table within seconds. Talking about the food, I would definitely recommend the Kimchi Jigae for a tangy taste and the Beef buloji is truly soft and tender. Recommending this amazing place when you are in & around Victoria. Must Visit.

Had been to Victoria with friends and ended up having my Sunday dinner here yesterday and must say what an amazing dining experience. The staff was friendly,smiling and welcoming. We quickly got a table without reserving and got served with delicious Korean food. No matter how busy the staff was they always kept smiling and attended us constantly by changing the water jug. Best place to visit. Recommending the tasty pancakes and fried chicken also the egg fried rice with beef. One of my friend tried the kimchi soup which was too good. This place has large quantities and we couldn’t finish it all. Unfortunately they don’t have the plum tea hence we tried the citrus and it was truly refreshing. Do try the plum soju I’d recommend trying it. This is a popular place I feel and definitely a hidden gem. Worth our visit.

The food is excellent, served quickly and the waiting staff is helpful. The only drawbacks are that you have to order side dishes and that the food is London prices. Since I've mainly been on weekdays, the atmosphere was very business-like - you get your table, you order and you pay. If you're used to busy, cheap and cheerful Korean restaurants, you may be a bit surprised about the atmosphere and prices, which are both very London. Still worth a visit, at the very least because you can't go wrong with the food! Note: edited to include more detail.

I’ve been around Victoria often and have never noticed this restaurant but wanted to go for a while. It didn’t disappoint. My boyfriend and I had the seafood savoury pancake and chicken wings to start and then beef bulgogi bibimbap and tender beef bulgogi. The beef dishes were both incredible, delicious and perfectly done. Service was excellent and prices not bad. Fairly small and buzzy restaurant, absolutely recommend for Korean food in London.

Omg this was so good. The bibimbap was delicious and we were able to get a table pretty easily around opening time, however it got very busy within an hour.

I’ve never been to Korea but lived in Asia for a while and had some excellent authentic Korean food, which seemed to be a struggle in London until I found Lime Orange. Always bustling with a lively atmosphere and friendly service with a smile. The food is great, the seafood pancake is one of my favourites but the wings and glass noodles are also great. It’s the second time visiting this place and definitely not the last!

Fantastic little find Me and partner both wanted to try Korean food and wow we wasn’t expecting how great the food was. Really tasty food. Only thing I’d say would be we’d literally just finished our starter and the main course was arriving at our table just could have done with a 5 minute break between those to meals.

The staff were so friendly and the food was so satisfying, I felt like I was in for a treat.

Got in just before the lunch crowd. Ordered the Kimchee bibimbap (hot bean paste on side, assorted veggies, egg yolk, and kimchi in a piping hot clay bowl). Comes with a bowl of miso soup on side. Good portion, flavor decent. Not bad. Next time I’m in London, I’ll try the traditional Korean BBQ.

Bien que le restaurant manque d'espace il est vraiment excellent et tient la dragée haute àbien des restaurants coréens à Londres et surtout en France, la réservation est irréprochable et le service très bon. Les plats sont excellents (les épicés le sont vraiment), ils ont du goût, et ne sont pas excessifs ! La Street Food Coréenne à Londres pour un prix contenu 😉 Bref n'hésitez pas !

Went in looking at the decent reviews and craving Korean fried chicken, but the head server was quite racist - two parties of two entered after us without reservations and were given tables while we were only given a seat at the bar on the window and no one took an order or brought water for 15 mins. We had no choice but to get up and leave, unfortunately, and will never return.

Time wasters sadly - reservation page says for same day bookings call, and once you find a number you get told they never take any. Don’t bother.
