We discovered Leonardos today and had a lovely lunch. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a good lunch in a pleasant setting.

Visited Leonardo's whilst shopping in Nuneaton. We had the best Latte that either of us had ever tasted! We also ordered food and had a delicious omelette that was served swiftly and was very tasty. The staff were very helpful and we will certainly be eating there again in the very near future!

I always used to go here for breakfast and I have never had a bad experience, was sad when I worked too often to make the trip, I saw that you could order from there, and while I was skeptical of the quality of delivered full English I gave it a go. And not only was I thoroughly impressed with quality, the time it took to arrive was insanely fast.

Went in for Coffee. Leonardos was buzzing and busy and a first class cup of Coffee. Staff friendly and helpful with first class service. Fresh and clean and very busy. If you are looking for a nice place to have coffee then Leonardo's is the place to go.

Just a spot on breakfast - hot, tasty. Great value. I’ve not been here for years - will be back as it’s peaceful and nice to have good service too.

I got food poisoning from the cheese salad and chips. The coffee tasted like mud and it took me three days to recover.

Must of changed sausages to a cheaper brand as they tasted horrible. Same as the coffee don't taste as good as it used to.

Seen a bad review and food hygiene report but all I can say is I had a great experience, the food was great and plentiful and the service was pleasant.

The last time I went the food was poor but I did not think it could get any worse but it has now the 1* food hygiene ratings that says it needs major improvement is necessary !! I would say away and not go back now

Went into town fancied something to eat so went to Leonardo’s had a lovely Blt with chips and a coffee was really nice as always. This is a lovely cafe/ restaurant in Nuneaton nice and clean and a good menu. Well worth a visit

never been to Nuneaton before and we found this Leonardo's , not much to look at from outside , but lovely and clean , welcoming staff , good food and service . gets busy at times, addition seating upstairs, well worth a visit , definitely go back again

Been here many times before. Usually for just coffee or full English breakfast, which is excellent. Went for lunch this time. Beautiful jacket potato with home made chilli. Delicious 😋 Recomended for a visit. Will definitely be returning 👍

This place is a favourite with my family, however this was my first visit. We had breakfast yesterday and were not disappointed. My husband opted for the full breakfast and I had the veggy breakfast which was 1 of the best I’ve had.They both included fried bread which I haven’t had for years (naughty but nice).There have been varying reviews on this site - I found it to be a good breakfast for a fair price.

We have visited here quite a few times over the last few weeks and haven't yet been let down. We've tried different things from the menu and everything has been well presented and just delicious. We cannot fault the food in any way. The service has always been good. The place can get quite busy at times but we have not yet had to wait too long to be served.

Visited mid afternoon on a Saturday,, must say it was quite busy when we got there but the service was very slow, I actually saw someone I know enter , eat and leave before we were served.

Me and a friend went here today for breakfast and it was very poor the mushrooms had green bits on them which made me feel sick and the tea was so poor one tea bag in a big pot ? We have be here around 10 - 15 time over the years and it's always been a hit or miss and we would say we would not go back but this time I'd my Last time I would go back for the money the food is poor.

Been there first time for lunch with friends. My soup was cold I asked for warm it more and the waitress took it to the kitchen and chef warm it in microvave... for main we had 2 pizzas which was totally raw. The base wasn’t cooked and my Milano Burger tasted literally like cheese Burger from McDonalds... only good was coffee, which was from machine and garlic breads. Poor service the restaurant was empty and the lady didn’t look after us. Prefered spend time with friends who just visited her at work..

We go to Leonardo's at least once a week when visiting Nuneaton. It is a busy and popular venue at the best of times but there are always several waitresses working so we don't have to wait long. I've had all day breakfast and ham eggs and chips several times and the quality of food had always been first rate.

Meals were very good value and nutritious. Service prompt and professional. Good value for money. Nice position in town. Good quality and variety of food.

With a comprehensive english & italian menu that are second to none. Not the fastest service, but excellent nonetheless. I understand all food is cooked from scratch.

Cheap and not so cheerful 😕 Swimming in fat, very heavy and greasy. Avoid the cheap and nasty "French fries" sold as "chips"yuck!!

En una mañana fría de domingo caminando Nuneaton me pregunto si tuviera un desayuno MCDONALD'S VI este lugar. Tuve un desayuno mega como puedes ver en mi imagen. La mejor decisión del día. La comida era estupenda y el servicio era rápido. Este podría ser mi Ritual del domingo por la mañana.

This is a nice cafe, but as the title suggests it is quite cheap and therefore the food quality is as such. The quantity is great but the quality is not so.

Ordered the All Day Breakfast and it was just delicious and with fried bread. Huge portions and great value I'll be back next time I'm up to see the family Very friendly staff

this is always a first stop when i go shopping with my mum. its got good coffee and good tea cakes. i would recommend that you go because they have a lot of good food like the breakfasts.

My son wanted a big breakfast but as I'm on a diet, I went for the cheese and bacon omelette. The food was beautiful, the coffee was lovely and the service was extremely good as usual. We got odd times for a treat and it never disappoints. The place is always very clean too.

I come to Nuneaton about once a year with my husband to visit family, and I always make a point of stopping in at Leonardo's at least once during my stay. They stay open all day, the food is good, and they're always friendly. I like that it feels like a family run restaurant and not a chain. Maybe next visit I'll come in for dinner - looks good!

Nothing special but it is a cafe and it does what cafes do best. Breakfasts, light lunches, teas, weak coffee and snacks. The prices are fair and the waitress service is good. It's usually busy and I suspect they have many regulars. Downside...I cannot access the toilet which is up a flight of stairs so visits need to be planned.

I went here for lunch after having been recommended it in the past. From the minute I walked in the staff were really attentive, making sure to check on me after a few minutes to see if I was ready to order yet. The tables had proper tablecloths and the general appearance of the restaurant was clean. It seemed slightly run down in the fact that the plastic menus were sticky to the touch on both tables I used (slightly off-putting for a first time visit) and the place settings were a little worn, but this seemed easy to rectify and didn't affect the meal overall.The food came quickly and was decent enough quality. It wasn't anything particularly special, but was well presented and priced very well. The range on the menu was good, both for food and drink, so there would be things for most tastes- full english, steak, salads, paninis etc. Overall a good lunch and I would visit again as the atmosphere was nice and it was good value for money.

I haven't been in for a while but little has changed with good breakfasts made and delivered quickly which I enjoyed even if my family were elsewhere. Plenty of room upstairs if downstairs is full. They have WiFi but it's signal is weak.

It been a few years since we last went to Leonardo's and sorry it was a disappointment. We went inside and the menu's are old and tattered, I don't mind plastic covered menu's but they were all coming apart and didn't appear clean at all, we got lots of looks from the staff (and there were at least 4 waitresses), none of them acknowledged us and so after 5 minutes we left. It certainly seems to have dropped its standards since the last time we visited.

I'm a regular customer here where there's always a warm welcome. Downstairs is often full but there are plenty more tables upstairs. The menu is extensive and the service unparalleled - a large number of young staff work hard and cheerfully. Highly recommended restaurant which is open almost every day of the year.

Ate here for lunch with my mother in law, I ordered jacket potato with cheese no butter, did mention the no butter twice due to my allergy and mil ordered steak and chips, mine came out OK microwaved potato, little bit of salad, tasted ok but there was butter inside the potato. Steak was chewy which spoilt the meal for mother in law. Upstairs by window we sat, bit dull up there could do with cheering up and draft from window made it cold so kept coat on. Would not rush back. Staff ok but wish she had listened to my order instead of talking.

Took a friend in here for a coffee and a light lunch a couple of weeks back.Coffee is superb.Vegetarian special pizza also excellent.My wife (who works in the town) tells me she and friends from work lunch there when they want something "a little more special than usual, a bit of a treat"

I always love my breakfast here, good quality food and service, staff are always friendly. Only time we struggle is when we have the wheelchair as sometimes it's full at the front which is ideal for disabilities. But that's how great the place is, always busy.

My title says it all.I've visited this place on several occasions and the service is always outstanding.For a family cafe you can tell they put a lot of love and affection not only into their food but also their customers.anyone whos in the area should go and visit!

Never disappoints on a Saturday ! This cafe is buzzing full of life on a Saturday in Nuneaton with cheerful staff.Their breakfasts are filling or even if it is just for some tea cakes and a coffee. A nice break from the shopping in the town centre!Highly would recommend!

This was my third visit to Leonardos and I have to admit to being very impressed by their service. Every time I have been the service has been quick and friendly. Twice I have been with friends who have food allergies, and they have catered for their needs. Being very helpful and allowing them to bring their own toppings for their baked potato's. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. The food is also good and their portion sizes are a fair size. I have never had one of the All Day Breakfasts but someone on the table next to me did and it was huge.

Use this place on a regular basis and never disappointed friendly staff good looking too and food is good quality best of its kind in Nuneaton.

In Nuneaton - the only fish & chip restaurant - Fryways - closed down so tried Leonardo's. Had the All Day Breakfast and a coffee - see photo. It came with toast. Everything was very nice. No tomatoes or black punning either, but a nice hash brown and some mushrooms. Was delicious. Bacon good an crispy too. Would recommend and revisit.

Set in a historic Nuneaton street, it is our version of a Parissiene cafe with tables inside and out. Went with friends and colleagues after a meeting in town, for the all day breakfast. Friendly service and goo sized portions.

A friend took me to Leonardo's after we had been shopping and at one time she went regularly, but had not visited for quite a while.It is not a large place and was very busy, although it was only 12 noon. I am not sure I liked where we sat and think that next time we will go upstairs, as there will be less traffic by our table. The menu is quite large and our meals were plain, although my first choice was not available, which was a disappointment. My lasagne was definitely of the frozen variety and well microwaved, as it was piping hot. The chips were not chunky, but there were plenty of them. The service was ok and we will go again. So this is somewhere for a quick lunch if you are shopping.

I havent actually ate at this place but i have worked here doing abit of maintenance. Avoid this place. Out the back of the kitchen the "fresh" vegetables are all chucked in a crate on the floor near the car park. The "freshly made paninis" are ready made in packets that are microwaved. The kitchen is not a place that i would prepare food in. I will definetely 100% never eat here!!!

Visited here 26th aug...originally we were going to have a jacket potato but noticed they were anaemic and microwaved..ordered 2 pizzas..plain cheese and an inferno...pepperoni and chillies...they arrived...so overloaded in cheese they were sitting on a plate of fat!! The inferno had very little pepperoni and 3 tiny pieces of chillie...we ate what we could...we were sittin near to the till..whilst there 2 other people complained about the food..the waitresses hadnt got a smile between them and struggled to even speak..when one of them came to collect the plates i mentioned the lack of pepperoni and chiilies on the pizza to which she replied "the chefs useless, sorry" on goin to pay i mentioned it again to another waitress who deducted £2 off the bill...we left feeling we had eaten a ton of bricks...not a pleasant feeling...wouldnt recommend...

Our usual cafe was closed, so thought we would give leonardos a try, never again.One word for it awful.

We went here for breakfast, this is the first time we have eaten here. I had the special breakfast which was a full English, but at a price of £2.95 didn't really expect much, however, it was lovely. Good quality food and just the right amount on the plate. My husband had the omelet which he said was good. So breakfasts, toast, tea and coffee all for just over £11 this was very good value. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be visiting again soon to try their lunch time menu which has a good selection of pasta dishes.

This is one of the restaurants in Nuneaton where food is always of the highest standard but prices aren't exorbitant. The place is well-staffed and greet and serve customers with a smile, their happy efficiency adding to the enjoyment of the meal. The proprietor, also smiling, goes out of his way to welcome diners. I've been visiting here for many years now and am almost ashamed to say that this is my first review of them. Be assured of a good meal whenever you visit.

The food was ok but the lady on the till seemed like she couldn't be bothered, sighing and frowning when i asked her a question with regards to the menu.Sadly, the inside of the restaurant, which I am sure was nice once upon a time but now looks very tired.On a good note, the waitress was very professional and polite but because of the rude lady I will never return.

Whenever we visit Nuneaton this is the place for our lunch. There is ample seating upstairs if the ground floor is full. The menu offers a lot of choice and I recommend the All Day Breakfast as it is plentiful for its price albeit increased by 50p over the last twelve months. There are plenty of staff making the service quick.

Decent service, with very pleasant waiting staff, extensive menu, warm and clean. Only had a jacket potato with cheese and beans which was acceptable. Latte could have done with a little more coffee but on the whole, fine.

The waitress took our order but the chef was ubable to read it properly, hence the food had to be sent back. Smokers sat immediately outside the door drinking coffee so we were forced to share their smoke as the front door was open. Couldn't wait to get out of there and go to Costas for a decent cup of coffee and good service. Very disappointed will never go back!

Lasagna every time .... its the best ive ever had! would recommend it to anyone visiting Nuneaton town centre

Very friendly staff always happy to help, we go in as a big group with 3-5 children sometimes, and they always cater to our needs and don't get funny looks from them like you do in some places when a child makes a noise etc. best breakfast in town to!

Thought would try for a breakfast with my wife and after asking if outside if they did vegetarian breakfast ( not on menu )and was told yes.Ordered one veg and one regular breakfast when they came the only difference was vegetarin had three thin slices of cold tomato instead of sauasge and bacon and guess what price was the same! so having three thin slices of cold tomato equates to a sauasage and bacon.Also fried bread was cooked both sides and rock hard.Price for two breakfasts with tea was £10.60 we were very dissapoined will not be coming back suggets Weatherspoons or the Geoge for good quality and value breakfasts

Hadn't been here for such a long time and it was so good to be back here and see the changes. A wonderfully varied menu - the menu is also now incorporated into the outside table tops, very clever. I opted for an omelette and chips which arrived very quickly and was excellent. The glass of tap water with ice cubes I'd requested was brought to the table with no hint of the resentment I've recently met in other places because I hadn't ordered an expensive drink. Great atmosphere and happy staff, especially smiling Ryan. Yes, Leonardo's is better than ever and I'll soon be back to sample more of the menu!

The staff are cheesy, although polite, yet I've seen the staff jumping in the bins out the back where pigeons poo and clutter the place. The staff stand and smoke out the back feeding the pigeons! They once had a fridge outside to keep their meat in. Disgusting. Some how the food was reasonable . I wouldn't recommend it for health and hygiene !!

Had lunch here Friday with a friend. Decor tired, in need of a lick of paint and modernization. Ordered a vegetable pizza which was nicely cooked and a good size but lacked vegetables. My friend had a pasta dish which was very dry and bland tasting. Charging rather steep for quality of food.

This is by far the best cafe in nuneaton. The staff are great,attentive and pleasant. Good coffee, and would also reccomend the food.

The food here is good and value for money, the regular staff are friendly & welcoming at all times [though saturday service can be a bit hit & miss]. The real downside are the toilets [Ladies] which are old & in very poor condition with a need to 'put paper in the bucket, not down the toilet'. I would expect this when travelling abroad but not in the UK. They need proper repair, a good clean & a lick of fresh paint.

Place could do with redecorating, but a good average place for a shopping lunch

as a new mum, i found i visited almost every cafe in Nuneaton on trips into the town, trying each of them on more than one occasion i have come to the conclusion Leonardos is the best cafe in Nuneaton town centre.its clean and has an amazing menu, from breakfasts and light lunches to pizza and pasta dishes.the outdoor seating is ideal on a sunny day, and the staff are lovely and helpfulhighchairs are available and the food is very nice, i would recommend to anybody wanting a good variety of tasty home made lunches or breakfasts, its a shame there are not many reviewers in nuneaton taking part here, as this only gets such a poor rating as only myself and another have reviewed it.deffinatly the number one cafe in the area
