Best fish and chips in town served very quickly and the cod was very fresh plus the staff were very polite.

The order was x1 small chips and x1 large chips; yet my husband was charged for x3 large chips. Which were barely cooked! This place should NOT offer pineapple fritters if it can’t be bothered to properly batter them. All of the soggy ‘batter’ was stuck to the wrapping. One soggy pineapple ring went straight in the bin. Also all other takeaways serve x2, not x1! Will NEVER go there again.

Fish was freshly cooked and the batter was lovely. Portion of chips were traditional chips and curry sauce was fantastic.

By far the nicest chip shop in Andover, plenty of chips in a portion. Staff are nice, parking can be an issue.

Always good. I love their chips - I really do! The chicken portion is not overcooked and dry and the fish is fresh, with light and crispy batter. They're very polite in the shop too.

Soggy batter on cod. Had to repeat the words cod and chips over and over again until he was able to understand me. Got given the wrong sausage, I guess as he didn't understand what I was asking for. Has the place changed hands?

2 delightful young girls on service, then a third one hiding under the counter for some reason. Chips were nice but lots of small crispy bits in it, prob end of run.

Ordered large cod and chips was given two very small pieces that were very dry crusty and obviously stale will go elsewhere in future

Battered sausage and chips. I think the sausage had been shown batter but never actually touched it. The chips were greasy and under cooked. Never again. Total waste of money.

Ordered 2 regular cod and a large chips, got home to find, at best, a small portion of chips! We usually find a large portion generously feeds 4 but this just about fed 2. Very disappointed considering it was £17! We used to rate this as the best chip shop in Andover but won’t be coming back for the price!

Not sure why there's loads of good reviews for here , the poeple of this inbread town can barely string a sentence together. I'll start with the fish, wafer thin with the thickest of batter on it ,batter resembled a bread loaf. Take it from me , (whispers) it's not meant to be like that Harry. The chips were as limp as my mate Geoff after a few beers. Not sure if vinegar was put on there, couldn't even smell it let alone tast it and that's the most important ingredient you see. Same with the salt, how is it that pubs do a better more authentic job at serving this British staple with over 30+ items on the menu , and this place only really specialise in one or two and get it so wrong come on.

I really like going here for a cheeky fish and chips, slightly manic here when it's busy but they do do a great job. Food is always nice and definitely recommend to all.

Had the absolute best fish and chips i have had in such a long time the batter was crispy on the fish the chips where out of this world. Staff where friendly. The portions are huge and a large chips would genuinly feed a family of four easily with some left over. Also was not very expensive managed to feed 8 people for 21 quid.

Just moved into Andover and fancied a chippy dinner, chose this place based on reviews - WOW! Chips were proper chip shop chips and curry sauce thick and tasty! Added bonus, they had my favourite - pineapple fritter!! Will definitely be back here, cheered us right up and beat the moving house blues! Fair prices and not too hectic for a Saturday night.

Food is always excellent and doesn't hurt having such lovely staff.

Cooked to order, fish had a nice crispy batter, good size for the price however chips on the over cooked side, generous portion but with a lot of blemishes so could easily discard a few.

SHOCKING! Ordered a simple large portion of chips and curry sauce, got home to find a long blonde hair in the chips. Also they clearly weren't very busy and had alot of food pre cooked so that explains why the chips were chewy and not cooked properly. Safe to say I won't be returning seeing as they can't something as simple as chips properly.

Best fish and chips in town, when we tried it we have never stopped. Massive portions of chips we shared a medium size. Large/small fish depends on what you like. We love it. If you haven't tried, come you will never stop. Friendly down to earth and helpful staff. Great service. Wheelchair accessible enterance, a parking bay right in front.

As far as fish and chips go, this is the best. Often go down at lunchtime and the food cannot be faulted. Great friendly service and the place is very clean.
