Andover Chinese Takeaway in Test Valley

I’m sorry, the first time I have had a Chinese takeaway in almost a decade and was so looking forward to it. The prawn toast was over cooked and had hardly any prawn in it. Whilst the fried dumplings tasted ok, but were so soggy they were falling apart.

Incredible food, always delivered hot and on time.

Had few takeaways now from here, food has been delicious everytime. Highly recommended

the food is just disgusting! this was my first and last experience buying takeout in chinese. I took two dishes: rice with duck and dumplings with pork. when I came home I was very disappointed. the food did not look appetizing. rice with duck reeked of old pork. I don't talk about dumplings at all. it was disgusting and smelly. I had to throw away all the food and remain hungry. it feels like this food is made for pigs. this is my disgusting experience buying Chinese food. do not buy here!!!

Review from a month ago - Food is good, but staff are rude when ordered for delivery they gave the wrong dish and refused to do anything about it. Not even a simple apology.

The best Chinese in Andover by a mile. The food is amazing, and not once have we had a bad dish here or a meal. Another plus is that it's within a two minute drive away if delivery is busy. I/ we would highly recommend this Chinese takeaway. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating when it comes to ordering.

Probably the best Chinese takeaway in Andover. I was introduced by a friend and have never been anywhere else since. Prices and wait times are fair for delivery and the food never disappoints.

Really great customer service. When I realised our rice was missing, I called up and it was delivered within 15 mins - we are more than 10mins away from the shop! So friendly with their delivery and on the phone

absolutely immense. no chinese like it, ordered many times and it’s never been wrong, cold or not tasty. man at till is so pleasant. its always on time. we are thrilled every time. can’t wait to return for more yummy treats :)

Food was ok but nothing to write home about, sweet and sour chicken was good but the Chinese chicken curry not so much, I've had better from a microwave meal from tesco.

This is our 2nd takeaway from Andover Chinese, & every time never disappoints The quality and quantity of the food Is amazing & always hot, The delivery service is amazingly quick, Almost as if they are cooking it as I order 😂🤣 Well done, keep up the good work.

I have eaten from here several times and the food is seriously excellent. The management is very helpful as well. Honestly, I can’t rate their food highly enough and will be eating from there again tonight which I’m looking forward to.

Honestly one of the best Chinese we ever had. I'm quite picky with Chinese as it often makes me feel ill or its too oiley. These guys made it taste amazing and we also felt 100% after and the day after, it was really like a home made meal as the quality of the food was really high! We had loads of food! Won ton soup, chicken balls, salt and pepper chicken, noodles, dumplings, satay chicken and something else and was all under 40 pounds, was enough to feed 3 or 4 people as we had loads left over! The protions are really big and the food was just perfect. The guy at the store cracked a funny joke about won ton soup being heavy honestly made my night, everyone at the shop was very friendly and the service was fast too.

Sorry, but me and partner was very unhappy with the food. we both noticed that almost all the food had no taste to it. there lacking in something ! You know when you eat a Chinese its full of flavour but not from this shop We would not use them again

Very good Chinese takeaway. The pork with cashews in yellow bean sauce was a particular highlight. The fried mixed veg was nice. Fu yung not that tasty. Ready very quickly and easy to collect.

We were staying at the treehouse 2.5 miles away, delivery was on time, food was hot and delicious.

This takeaway is BRILLIANT. Every time we call to place an order, the person taking the order is always super efficient and friendly. The service is super fast and the food is always amazing. Cannot rate highly enough. Excellent value for money to and always a complimentary dish.

Do not order from them. Ordered their tom yum chicken soup and what i got was boiled cabbage and chicken hot water.. even after going back they could not offer to add anything else into it and had no spice or flavour at all.. even after going back for another soup. They could only off to add mushrooms.. only have cabbage and chicken in a tom yum soup is so tasteless.

Very friendly and great service. Meal was also pretty good value and delicious. A really varied menu with some good options. Also no problems paying with contactless, which is important these days. Only complaints are a lack of parking and no website. But I would definitely go again.

First time, awsome food and very fresh, used to use pearl river, but portion sizes got smaller and the food got really bad, had enough on my last visit when food was dry and nasty..... Will be using these guys from now on😁

Tried this place 20 years ago and didn't like it. Wife convinced me to try it again and very pleasantly surprised, superb food, very tasty and good portions, well worth 5 stars!

Food was tasty as always but the waiting time was way too long. We ordered 4 different dishes and had to wait for them nearly an hour.

Possibly the tastiest Chinese takeaway in Andover and trust me, I've tried many of them (I love Chinese food). Only gripe is that they only use the thin noodles as I usually prefer thicker noodles for my Singapore chow mein though that's just my personal preference. I just feel that sometimes the noodles are quite dry and stringy but not always. They also used to have a card machine so that you could pay by card when ordering a delivery which has now stopped meaning you can only pay by cash but seeing as not many provide a card machine anyway, it was just good while it lasted . Other than those very minor gripes, I highly recommend this takeaway.

Jus had Andover chinease.... NEVER AGAIN... Spring rolls tasted on ammonia (pee) ribs dry, lamb chewed, saucr like syrup and complimentary dish of chicken even after I said I don't eat it... Pork balls gristle and hoisin sauce was not what I no hoisin sauce... 1 star out of five I would rate it

Great food, much the same food as Buddha but less queuing and a complementary box with ribs and stuff if you order over £15

Good freshly made food, very generous portions and a complimentary free dish. Piping hot and good delivery time. What more could be asked for.
