Absolutely fantastic, went for food and drinks with a few friends, the service was spot on.. The food was absolutely amazing, couldn’t thank the staff enough for the amazing service, and the atmosphere was absolutely spot on.. would recommend to family and friends for the most amazing service

Fabulous service today. Bryn makes the most incredible cocktails, always has the biggest smile on his face and is a joy to talk to. Lovely pub and the food is so well priced.

Just want to say well done to the white hart their team of housekeepers are fantastic always helpful if in need of anything and the rooms are always clean and tidy so well done to them. The bar staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is amazing so we'll done to the kitchen staff aswell. All round a fantastic place to stay.

Popped in for pints and a bite to eat. Friendly welcome from the nice lad at the bar, Bryn. A genial type who looked after everyone well. Had a nice time and the barman was the kind of chap it's worth coming again for.

All the staff were so pleasant and welcoming, particularly Sarah and Sue. We were staying upstairs for a few weeks and were made to feel right at home. Lovely

We as a family had a lot of fun. The staff were great The food was good, hot and appetising. The building itself needs investment as the decor and carpets etc definitely need replacing.

Friendly welcome from the staff. Food arrived promptly and was good value. Portion size was large so struggled to eat all of it but compares well with other pub menus and meals.

Bryn , is an amazing barman. He made my visit so much more enjoyable. Very helpful. I honestly couldn't rate him enough.

Greeted at the bar by the lovely Sue and Bry. They made me feel very welcome and help with placing and food choices. Decided to go for the hunter chicken this evening, it was a lot better than I had anticipated. Proving you should not judge a book by its cover. This was accompanied by a lovely pint of very well looked after Directors. Thank you team.

My son and I visited to celebrate my birthday. The food (1x Cowboy Burger + 1x Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese) was absolutely delicious and was served promptly with no excessive waiting. One of the items ordered didn't come out with the main̈ order and the lady I spoke to dealt with it very promptly. She was super helpful, even though she seemed to be run off her feet!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the White Hart Pub and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Daisy. From the moment we walked in, Daisy greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile that set the tone for the entire evening. She was not only attentive but also incredibly polite, making sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Daisy handled our orders with efficiency and care, ensuring our drinks were promptly set and our food arrived hot and delicious. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she took the time to check on us regularly without being intrusive. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely dedicated to making sure her guests have the best possible experience, but Daisy went above and beyond. Thanks to Daisy’s outstanding service, I will absolutely be visiting the White Hart Pub again. Booked 6 weeks ago said no garlic. Only to arrive to be told starter was all garlic, which they changed to chicken wings which were swimming in oil. Festive burger and extras were burnt nothing like photos on festive menu.. Unable to eat. Didn't get the extras we ordered. Only 1 person running food orders and bar.music so loud can't hear people. NO disabled toilets. Unsafe place for disabled

Classic pub style hotel. Understaffed, just one person serving at Saturday lunchtime. Waited for about 35 minutes for food despite being fairly quiet; so I guess the kitchen was short-staffed too. Tables were not properly cleaned with residue left from previous. Meals were ok when they arrived. My baked potato with chilli was nice, but I would have expected more chilli. The steak looked good and was well cooked to order.

I visited with my family and was pleasantly surprised with the en-suite room. We visited in December and it was toasty warm inside. Atmosphere and food was brilliant and the staff welcoming and friendly. We all said we would definitely visit again in the Summer.

Jade and the team were excellent in helping with our staff party. They were very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process and we will definitely be using them in the future.

We stayed for 1 night. Beds very comfortable. Had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very tasty. The waitress Sarah was very friendly and welcoming. We asked her to pass on our thanks to chef Tom as it was delicious

We had our Roadchef Christmas party , Jade, Dan and the team were great. They recommended Terry as well for DJ, which was great. Use of the side function room is ideal for a large party. Very accommodating, will be back.

After booking months in advance we arrived for our Xmas meal we booked for 1 o'clock we was getting rather hungry as at 1.45 we were told there was 2 other large parties and we had to wait for them to finish there starters why?our meals eventually came an hour late and it was stoned cold nobody ate the food we then had to wait till 3.15 for our puddings to arrive whilst the dinner plates were still on the tables we called for the management to come and talk and they sent a trainee supervisor who was also acting as the chef who did apologise for the cold long wait and explained they had work experience people acting as the servers one which was dam right rude we did get a 20%discount rightly so though I wouldn't of paid anything but the pudding was when it came quite nice.we won't be booking there again but if you are a party of more than 8 then I wouldn't bother there was another party who also complained.we were told there was enough staff to cope but all there was was 2 young people serving and 1 person behind the bar so how they thought this was adequate staff I don't know 3 parties of 16 plus people someone seriously got this wrong.

Had a steak meal here last night as no gammon available. Worst steak I’ve ever had, wouldn’t have fed it to my dog! Food was also wrong when it first came out and was cold. Ended up paying £15 for a few fries as the steak was not even chewable and was all left on the plate. Avoid - customer service in relation to complaint about the food was non existent!

Clearly a different crew than a year ago when we had my daughter's birthday party at the White Hart. Bad service. Less than £20 worth of food on the buffet for 25 kids. Will definitely find somewhere to have our kids parties from now on.

Very cute and vintage pub, warm food and cold drinks, lovely staff especially the new supervisor zeta, she talked me through the menu and helped me make a decision, she was kind and caring of my allergies and made sure the kitchen was aware, over all the experience was nice but she made me want to come back!

We went there on the recommendation of the carvery. My advice, look at the carvery before you order! Dried up, limited meats (at 1pm on a Sunday) dried up, burnt carrots all veg very unappealing.. if you eat with your eyes, don’t do it.

Refuse to leave a star, ordered on the app as requested on the menu, order accepted by the app and pub. Bar staff came and apologised for lack of one of the drinks ordered, then came back to apologise for lack of the other. Great start no drinks, 55 minutes later no food, asked the staff to be told the chef was on break and not answering his phone. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and service, do not waste your time or money visiting this establishment. I would like to say the young lady behind the bar was very helpful with my request for a refund though. She is far too good for this establishment. Avoid at all costs

Quiet, friendly and quality food

White Hart is an awesome cosy pub with a pool table and great selection of beers. Zeta was a great host and always served us with a smile.
