Amazing little hotel rooms are dated put very clean staff are lovely and very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was perfect very tasty 😋

We got there and was greeted by a lovely member of staff You sorted out our rooms and gave us our keys the rooms are very Clean and the beds are very comfortable the Bar is very well priced for drinks and food. And the bar stuff are nice and friendly.the breakfast that we had in the morning was amazing and i would happily go back

well worth the stay. bryn was a gem helping us out. food was fab everything i picky eater like me would like. beds were comfy and shower was like heaven.

Absolutely fab, the room is dated but spotless, the staff are so friendly. Food fab, loverly little pub, great area, free Carl park if staying over! Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Amazing service from zeta and Dan. Very calm and enthusiastic towards their job role. The burger I ordered was delicious and came very quickly. This is definitely now my go to pub

Popped in for couple of pints and bite to eat. All good. Nice crowd, cosy and comfortable place. Zeta and Daisy behind the bar were good fun and took good care of everyone.

Went for the sunday carvery, which was a good decision. Food was excellent and good value.

Had a nice meal for 2. Absolutely appalling cappuccino after meal- server should not even have served it, as it was obviously weak as dishwater. Really friendly nice staff. Hotel room ok, but TV remote had flat batteries - no one ever checks 😡 parking was included 😁

Jade was an amazing server and the chef cooked awesome food but the best part of all was when he come out after cooking he was like a majestic metal Jesus his name is Ian tho so a bit anticlimactic but compliments to Ian and Eathan

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the White Hart Pub and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Daisy. From the moment we walked in, Daisy greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile that set the tone for the entire evening. She was not only attentive but also incredibly polite, making sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Daisy handled our orders with efficiency and care, ensuring our drinks were promptly set and our food arrived hot and delicious. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she took the time to check on us regularly without being intrusive. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely dedicated to making sure her guests have the best possible experience, but Daisy went above and beyond. Thanks to Daisy’s outstanding service, I will absolutely be visiting the White Hart Pub again. She truly embodies the spirit of great hospitality, and I look forward to my next visit, knowing I’ll be in such capable and friendly hands. Highly recommended!

Went for lunch as we were in town. Chose the White Hart as we had eaten in here a few times before. When food arrived which was Prawn Cocktail for me it was so small, just a couple of mouthfuls and it was gone. Never had such a small Prawn Cocktail anywhere like this. Really poor value for money. Next my main course arrived Chicken Tika Masala, well the best bit was the poppadum and naan bread. The actual curry was so dry, could not eat it as awful. We will never call in again and have something to eat. Poor food and not good value for money.

Unfortunately not somewhere I would stay again, single female traveller and was disappointed at the accommodation, was booked for 2 nights and checked out after 1, staff were friendly however very grubby throughout, needs lots of attention, room smelled of smoke, needed a good clean, curtains old and dirty, paint peeling off the walls, very tired looking room and carpets, bar looked and felt dirty, there was a cat on one of the seats during breakfast, not acceptable throughout

Really good service from Bryn, Dan and Jade the baby Guinness shots were perfect and the pint was spot on and loads of cute cats that roam around the pub 😁😁

My daughter and myself visit every Sunday for the carvery. Lovely service by Jade and Daisy at the bar, our drinks were waiting ready for us when we arrived with a friendly welcome.

Went to a wake but due to lack of experienced staff ( only saw 3) room was laid out for a wedding reception. Food was OK but was not nicely presented sandwiches were just piled on plates. Tea & coffee was only available from the bar with up to a 20 min wait. Would not recommend the White Hart as a venue sadly - needs more staff.

Pleasantly surprised by this oldy worldy hotel/pub. Very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent Wi Fi. The breakfast was beautifully cooked with a good quality sausage, only let down by the coffee machine not working.

Just had a meal with our sons, absolutely lovely. Steaks cooked to perfection 😋

Food was great but it buy it took ages to come, about 45 minutes. Seemed very dark and dull inside, perhaps it needs a makeover, paintwork etc.

Lovely place to stay, breakfast in the morning was very good plenty to choose from and Sarah was very nice and friendly serving the breakfast very helpful would definitely stay again

Food was really nice, the server Sarah was lovely both mornings and we really enjoyed our stay, everyone interacted so well with our son and made us feel really welcome. There was a hole in our wall in room 4 which could do with being covered up but otherwise had a really lovely stay. Thank you all!

Fish and chips chicken curry was lovely drinks nice chocolate pudding. Had 30% off meals really nice. Syd the cat was cute too. Lovely visit to White Hart Hotel would visit again.

Great stay. Bit of road noise as my room faced it, but understandable in a town centre. Room clean, sure a bit tired but I’m not here for perfection in decor it’s a lovely old pub! great hot shower, comfy bed. Fantastic breakfast from Sarah who was lovely and pleasant. Full English set me up for the day, good coffee. Great value, I stay away in various pubs across the uk 2-3 times a week. I’ll bookmark this place to return.

Always have an amazing experience with the employees here, Jade and Zeta always are willing to have a chat and are quick and friendly with their service. Food is always well presented and the chef Ethan always makes delicious food.

Rooms are clean and the food is really good

I stayed at the white hart on Friday night and the room was very spacious and clean! I came down for breakfast on Saturday and the two ladies that were there, Sarah and Chantelle were so friendly to talk to, so happy to be around and both were very helpful with any questions we had. They also offered to help us with carrying our bags down from the room! The breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Thank you for making our stay a stay to remember!
