Acabo de tener el placer de cenar en la ubicación de su aeropuerto, y tengo que decir que la comida era absolutamente increíble! Como alguien que viaja a menudo, esta podría ser la mejor comida que he comido en cualquier aeropuerto, y honestamente, mejor que la mayoría de los restaurantes independientes. I had some of extra time at the airport and stopped by Legal Seafood’s restaurant in Ronald Reagan Airport. Started off with some oyster on the half shell, super fresh. Followed that up with a lobster roll in spite of the hefty price tag. The lobster was excellent, very tasty, incredibly delicious. The service at the bar was great. Left very happy!

I fly out of DCA weekly, but had never been to this Legal Seafood. I’ve visited other Legal Seafood restaurants and loved them, so I got here a little earlier than normal today to give me time to try this location. I sat at the bar and while service was slow (the kitchen was turning out food slow), it was still an excellent visit. The menu is great, lots of nice options, including handhelds, entrées, and salads. On this trip I started with their Greek salad, which is large enough to be an entrée by itself. It was loaded with very fresh greens and other veggies. The dressing is light, but flavorful and the combination of everything tasted great! Next up was their fish tacos, which come either grilled or fried. Haddock was the fish and it was grilled to perfection with a nice flavor. The entire taco came together excellently and the red cabbage slaw was really good. Their cole slaw, which I got as a side in lieu of the plantain chips, was also great! Overall, I really enjoyed my lunch and look forward to returning!

It is tough sometimes when you are not a seafood lover but your dining part is. Most places have an acceptable provision or two, but alas, Legal fails miserably! While my husband did enjoy his lobster, our chicken sandwich had the taste and texture of a dirty burned potholder and the salad was dry and tasteless. It is sad they cannot serve the non fish eater as well as the fish eater. In addition, the lack condiments. You can get a burger but they have no mustard. Kids can get chicken fingers, but they have no sauce. They need to do a bit better!

Best lobster roll ever! Get it hot with butter. The bread is divine and the lobster even better. We could split their half pound roll and be full. Our server, Rhonda, was the best! Best airport meal ever!
