Freshly cooked Haddock and chips, scrumptious. Great customer service, what more could you ask for. Definitely worth a revisit

This is our second time here. We were the only ones in the cafe and the service did not disappoint. We ordered and our order came really quick and we had a seat as well. Well done and we come here next summer

We try to visit Leeds fisheries when we visit Scarborough. Tried the cod and chips this time,lovely thick fish with white flakes in a crispy batter chips were great too. We have spent 30 years in the trade and these are good quality traditional fish and chips.

The staff were not nice at all did not understand the difference between a juice drink and fresh orange juice.

We found this fish and chip restaurant one or street back from the seafront. So glad we did. The fish and chips were excellent, and as the dining room is on the first floor, there is a view over the sea through a large gap in the building line. Friendly staff and service was quick, all at a reasonable price. Recommended for fish and chips!

Had haddock and chios yesterday.crispy batter and a good portion of chips Only issue was chips were a bit soggy.good value for money

Leeds is a fantastic place I went in the cafe it is small but cozy and beautiful. The staff are lovely people and are very polite, I had cod and chips and it was the best I’ve ever had in years, the cod was cooked perfectly and the chips were very nicely cooked. I recommend this place 100% if you’re looking for a nice place to eat. They also do take out which is very convenient as it’s close to the beach so you can walk down with your fish and chips

A fantastic family meal. 14 of us came for lunch and it was fantastic. The service was great, and the fish, chips and all other food was cooked to perfection. Everything clean, warm and welcoming. Can’t fault Leeds Fisheries - an iconic Scarborough venue serving the best fish & chips in town.

I went there and there was no queue and it was dirty there was no jumbo sausages and I the chips were stale and cold even though we ate them straight away also the sausages were tough skinned and bland and burnt wouldn’t recommend

Really excellent quality fish & chips (and mushy peas) with generous portions. Only thing I didn't like was that the haddock was cooked skin on, but this seems to be the modern way - downside is that you waste half the excellent batter :(

It is a tiny place and the take was clearly popular, it’s not on the main strip and it has a small seating area upstairs (narrow) The food was lovely and staff were friendly

We fell on this place last time we were in Scarborough. We were so impressed that on this visit we made sure we found it again. It is a takeaway but it not on the front and there are plenty of places to sit to eat outside. Some benches overlooking the sea . Please note though it is a cash only business

It's a real shame the food was nice but the two young member of staff upstairs step the entire time we was there messing about. We was sat near their little kitchen bit and they was making gagging noise like they was been sick my kids then we're completely put off the food (29/7/22) Won't recommend

I just come to Scarborough for a day out with my panter and we went to this fish shop and had a lightly battered haddock and chips well it was the best haddock we have ever had. The service was so excellent would defiantly go back to Scarborough just go back to leeds fish shop for fish and chips

when we arrived to cafe was nearly full went to sit in the window but waitress explained it was a table for four or which we didnt mind she was apolgetic but very friendly we had no been sat more than 2 mins when 7 people walked in she greeted them and explained she needed to take our order first the place had a wonderful atomosphere we had lovely attentive service but so didnt everyone else it not the first time we have been here and deffiatley wont be the lastl

staff are rude and nasty refusing to change an order they had themselves got wrong chasing to ignore us. unfortunately we had already paid

Friendly and polite staff. The staff downstairs are fast and I had a lovely chat with the staff while waiting. Sat on the benches behind with a nice view of the beach and the fish was lovely and fresh. They also have a cafe.

Alway go here and usually eat out in the fresh air but very windy so went upstairs to little dining room best fish and chips real chips and real mushy peas haddock fried to perfection

Always visit this establishment when in Scarborough and have never been disappointed. Called in late N.Y Day at around 5pm just before they closed. We received the most delicious cod & chips and must say they were yummy and very filling. Highly recommended this takeaway.

Visited this fish and chip shop whilst in Scarborough today. We were lucky enough to get a table near the window overlooking the beach. The Haddock and chips were apsolutley beautiful, service was perfect and would certainly recommend a visit

Delightful fish restaurant quite close to the beach/sea front. Excellent service, good quality, decent portions and reasonable prices. My wife and I popped in for fish and chip lunch when in the area and enjoyed the experience.

Great service and the freshest of fish. Amazing haddock and chips cooked to perfection. The batter was crisp and tasty and not greasy. The chips were like proper home made chips. Would recommend and would visit again.

Great little find! Good value, food and service. Sat at a table looking out at the sea eating the most delicious cod and chips! Nice tartare sauce too! Despite horrid weather this little cafe made our visit to Scarborough worthwhile- thank you ladies!
