I certainly wouldn’t recommend this experience based on the price. We arrived at 5pm and was taken to what looked like a hallway. No atmosphere what so ever for the whole experience. We were given table water straight away but then not asked for any drinks order until 5:30pm when the experience had already started. So by our 2nd course we finally got a drink (6pm). The dishes were like warm, but mostly tasty, apart from pudding which was basically cream. And with only 3 servers you couldn’t order more drinks without another lengthy wait. Maybe have a dedicated drinks person. In all I found it disappointing , the waiting times made it frustrating - even the bill most ppl just walked up to the lady preparing table receipts. It’s certainly needs some improvement, either a price reduction or a better service.

As a frequent patron, I have consistently advocated for the LE PETIT CHEF dinner experience at Hilton 1890 Restaurant to my friends whenever they come to Brighton. My friend, an individual who doesn't speak English, arrived with two 13-year-old children for the dinner event. They were ignored and when they complained about the poor food quality, particularly the overly salty soup, and requested assistance from the servers, their concerns were neglected. Despite multiple complaints, no action was taken. Eventually, they left midway through the dinner. They informed me that another table nearby had a similar experience and also left. I immediately drove to pick them up and comforted them. The lady was particularly upset by the RUDE behaviour of the manager and felt discriminated against. On the evening of July 28th, I called the hotel manager and was told they would follow up on the complaint, asking me to leave my contact number. Two days later, with no response received, I called the hotel again. This time, the call was transferred to the restaurant manager, who mentioned that an investigation was underway and they were still looking into a staff member who hadn't been on duty. They assured me they would get back to me. After another week passed with no response, I called the hotel again and requested to speak to the manager. The operator said the manager wasn't available and asked me to leave my contact information for a callback. Another week went by without any response. Frustrated, I called again and the staff on duty promised to pass on my message to the restaurant manager and assured me of a response. The result? Consistently disappointing. I am truly disheartened by the CUSTOMER SERVICE provided by Hilton. Initially, I believed that the complaints from my friend regarding Hilton 1890 Restaurant's LE PETIT CHEF were misunderstandings or communication issues. However, the reality indicates that both the hotel and the restaurant have been neglectful towards their customers. While opinions on the food quality might vary, a basic level of service attitude should be expected.

Nice and relaxed environment with good food and a unique show. The staff was overall friendly and most importantly, kind and patient with children. They moved heaven and earth to try to keep my toddler entertained during critical moments. We had a nice time overall.

Very underwhelming, I think if you brought kids with they would enjoy “the show” and it’s a nice experience, something different, only the food and service is very mediocre and so overall fails to meet the price point. Few points: - payment is asked for upfront and then you pay for your drinks at the end. - The dessert was awful- a bland lump of ice cream with mango drizzle and some crumbs, completely different to what the chef was seen making in the animation (Crème brûlée) and what was listed on the menu (Panna cotta). I was really disappointed as I’m a dessert person - When I said I was confused by the dessert (we weren’t told what it was) the waiter’s response was that they didn’t feel the other desserts were summery enough in their opinion. To me it read like a cost cutting option or they ran out or the intended dessert. (We ordered from Cremes on deliveroo after to satisfy my sweet tooth) - Staff felt very inexperienced (Bar one lady who was really great) we asked for ice and lemon to accompany a bottle of still water 3 times receiving a glass of tap water with ice and lemon in it. - They don’t ask if there are any allergies or tell you what’s in the dish when they put it down. -There’s a wine pairing which my husband had but we were only told about it after the first course. Seems like they should mention this when you first sit down. Food was very average on the whole, definitely not somewhere I’ll be recommending based on the food. Chicken was the best dish. Beef was dry and not tender to cut. It felt a bit like it had been pre made and then staff warming it up. It’s a shame but at £250+ for a date night there are much better options in Brighton.

We spent our Saturday evening with the amazing dinning experience that is Le Petit Chef. Firstly I'd like to say the service was first class and Valentina was amazing with resolving a booking issue that wasn't the restaurants fault 👏. The food was to a very good standard and tasty, didn't leave a single thing. Personally we shall be returning customers and couldn't recommend enough to anyone considering the dinning experience 5 🌟 from us. Christian & Nerys

I would never recommend anyone to visit this place. the food is terrible. the program is boring. price and quality do not match. I ate only salad and dessert, everything else tasted terrible...salty, lots of spices… don't waste your money and time on this place! the soup is uneatable… and that red dry spot on the plate… this place is a total disappointment!

I do not recommend. This is not even an experience. I am french and my partner is Italian so we know how to appreciate real good food. That was really really basic and nothing fancy, not really tasty, not so much flavour in the dishes. I am ashamed to think that that was reflecting my home country food. Could 100% do better at home. Don't spend your money.the food just did not match our expectation. Service was ok but far from being perfect. And about the experience itself, well, I think even a kid would get bored easily. I fell sorry for my partner that he had to spent so much money for such bad quality food, without saying that we drove from london just for the experience. I do not recommend at all.

Mixed feelings of this experience, service was good, staff were really attentive, animations were cute however the food was not good at all. Dried out jus on the plate, cheap cuts of reformed meat that were dry. Very disappointed by the food. Kids set menu included 1 course that had a Portobello Mushroom, I have never know a child to willingly eat mushroom! The allergy/vegan options tasted terrible! Our son has a lactose intolerance so had the vegan cheese and vegan panna cotta, both were inedible sadly. As keen foodies, the experience should be good but the food should be Great, especially for the price they charge. Completely over-priced for the quality of the food.

What a disappointing experience We have seen it before on a cruise ,and it was amazing If we would know that we will be having worse food than in Harvester ,we definitely wouldn’t do this It was four of us,two felt sick afterwards I actually had a hair in my food, they took it back and came back with a plastic box (with the hair inside) First they were trying to convince me that this is part of the beef😊,but than took it away for „investigation” ,and I was supposed to be contacted with the results 😂 It was the worst meal we’vd had for a very long time, and will I don’t think we can ever have a meal at the hilton hotel again

What a disappointment. We did this on a cruise and it was really incredible. Brighton met version was dreadful!!! It was a friends birthday, 6 of us all about to enjoy a great night out. We arrived at 6.45 as the “show” starts at 7. We sat at 7.15 as everyone booked needs to pay upfront before you’re seated, odd we thought but hey if thats the way they do it. This caused the initial delay of a huge queue of people. It then took over 30 mins to get a drink on the table, warm white and cold red … the show starts and eventually the first plate is served, this plate should represent the story being told BUT it was nothing like the story and quite frankly I would have binned it, flaccid salad 🤢 being polite we all ate it. It’s now 8.30 and course 2 was eventually served, 3 of us having onion soup and 3 having fish soup, the soup was barely warm 🤢 the amounts in the bowls was all different, my partner had half a bowl of less than warm fish soup with seafood, otherwise know as food poisoning in a dish. That’s when we’d had enough it was now 9.15. We looked around the room and everyone was having the same experience. In the end we got out our supermarket bought birthday cake and ate that, passing the rest over to the table next to us. We tried to complain but there wasn’t anyone to complain to… we asked for our money back and they couldn’t do that either. We left and walked to the local chip shop as we were hungry and fed up. The hotel has nice rooms and a great breakfast, thank god!!! Don’t waste your time and money, go somewhere, anywhere else!!

Should be an amazing experience for the price they ask for, sadly it is not value for money. At a lower price, I would give a higher score I was looking forward to this once I saw it was coming to Brighton, and quickly booked and almost from the point of arriving at the venue felt let down. £280 for 2 people with 1 bottle of wine. (Mandatory service charge on the cost of the experiences should just be included in the price) We were seated at 7pm, first animation started at 7:20 and the final course arrived at 9:49 - so a very short experience, and quite a fast for 5 courses after the final course we hadn't been brought our bill by 10:30. Sadly I am left not feeling I can recommend it to go at the current prices. If it was 25%-30% cheaper, I think it would feel much better overall. This is £99 per person + 12.5% mandatory service charge - so it is actually £112 per person. There is a lot better food to be found in Brighton for less, and whilst they don't have a animated tables the experience will probably be bet I'll cover the good stuff first :-) Positives: Meal: the general quality of the food was ok/good and the amount was very filling. They also did a great job of supporting a coeliac to attend and they really made sure it was safe. I did have a small issue with the quality of the beef on my serving, which when my partner saw it, they started to pass parts of their meal to me so I didn't have to eat the rest of mine. Near the end of that course I was able to draw the attention of a person and said I just wanted to let them know that something wasn't great about mine - they quickly shot off and bought me another piece of meat which was really good of them, but if they had asked I would have happily declined it as I was feeling full already. Visual: The experience of the projections on the table was fun though was surprised it wasn't more consistent/story driven linking across the courses. It is definitely a fun concept, and some of the animations raised a laugh or gasp. The animations are all short lasting 3-4 minutes each and only occur before each course. Pre-comms: Team reached out after I placed an online booking to check on the information about dietary requirements and make a recommendation of swapping from the vegetarian option to the meat option instead. Now the Concerns: Arrival: Clearly told to arrive 30 minutes before booking, which when we did we were immediately turned away and told they would not be ready till 7pm - this means your only option is to go to the bar - really felt manipulated into spending at the bar - don't bother following the information, arrive much closer to the start time Sound: For an experience with animations featuring voices, sounds and music it was not particularly loud during the 'clips'. also for whatever reason the moment that the lead server for the night took the microphone the volume dropped so low that the guest had to shout out that they couldn't hear several times and in the end it sounded like a muffled wedding DJ Costs: The experience/food does not reflect the price. I can spend less at Etch. for a much higher quality of food. The experience falls quite short for the price. Projections are fun, but standard/speed of service is not to that price points standard. Very little polish to the service. Ending: I really didn't understand what happened at the end of the night. The event ended, and we all just sat there not sure what to do, and then tables received bills individually, we had waited 30 minutes from the end to finally getting up to walk to the door to be able to ask to pay, as we had not had our bill or been approached and had seen one by one the other tables paying/leaving. We left disappointed and feeling we had spent more than we should have for the experience ( a sickening feeling to have) and questioning our choices.

We were looking for a pub to kill some time before our off-peak train ticket back to the hotel was valid, when we stumbled upon this small jewel in a side road of Brighton.A big sortiment of keg and cask beers as well as ciders, fair prices and likeable personnel satisfies the needs of every pub visitor who's looking for a cozy place to explore some beers. Would definitely visit again!

Psalm 91 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a] 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. A prayer for peace I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Psalm 150 1 Praise the Lord.[a] Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth Amen
