Tasteless sandwich for the price paid. For the love of your wallet ask the price of anything before taking it to the till.

my favorite coffee! Italian flair in a French guise. Nice food selection, handmade, great coffee, staff with typical Italian charm. The coffee and takeaway are very small. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, otherwise the line in front of the place will be even longer...😅

we were passing by and kids wanted to eat, so we bought 3 portions of pasta to go… and what a shock, 40£ for take away pasta from little bistro? we do support local businesses, but this price is tooooooo high for what you get. lasagna was ok, but kids didn’t finish it saying it was tasteless. our pasta was half eaten as well, didn’t taste good for the price we paid. never going back 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Just happened to walk passed this place at lunchtime on our recent trip to london , there was a queue of 14-16 people waiting down the street so we chose to go back the next day for breakfast. It didn’t disappoint , fabulous fried eggs on toast , lovely bread, tea and coffee were really good too. Quaint little place with very friendly staff. Will defo return on our next trip

Nice food, friendly staff, however my friend and I both paid £8 for a sandwich with the hopes of sitting down, preferably outside. We were told by the staff that we couldn't sit down unless we were eating at the restaurant (only found out at that moment). We were slightly miffed by this because although the sandwich was nice, it cost eight bloody quid and we wouldn't have bought anything from there had we known we'd have had to take it away.

Lovely "old fashioned" owner operated small eatery. Great food. The money they take goes to the people who served you, not to some CEO in the Bahamas. Great "real" food... not stuff prepared in Birminham a week ago and popped in a microwave. You will have to be okay with stairs, or lucky (and not mind) enough to get one of the small tables in the pavement. Not the Ritz... and not Ritz prices!

I've been here several times, when shopping in the area and needing lunch or tea. Always a great break from the high octane selling to be found in this part of London. REAL food... not plastic stuff out of plastic packets made up in some factory in the Midlands four days ago and reheated, maybe. And friendly service from people who seem to be the principals... I'd rather my money went to them, not to some CEO's third yacht.

Prices are unstable, you could buy the same exact sandwich everyday and pay a different price each time! It feels like you pay more or less depending on the mood of the person who makes the sandwich. 🤷‍♂️ a sandwich could be £8 one day, the next its £11. That's my only criticism, apart from that, the silver back man has a great customer service & friendly attitude, the lady who seems to be the manager seems to be very professional... the waiter chap is also polite.. the place has the charm of a family run business, and these days there arent many local business owners, most retail spaces have been invaded by the corporate chain cafes such as pret/Starbucks/cafe Nero/Costa.. and this place is one of the only places open in this area during the pandemic with such a good variety of choice and fresh produce. 👍🏻

I can't believe that such a place is opened in the heart of London. The staff is rude, more focus on chatting with there colleagues then serving costumers. Food is under any standard Even in this times when we need to be caution and take care of each other, in this place 2 out of 4 staff people wear a mask and those 2 they wear incorrectly. The worst place where you can spend your money for "food"

The owner, an Italian man in his 60s is an absolute cheater and lier when it comes to prices. At any given opportunity he will try to screw you by changing prices and saying that something cost more on a daily basis. Also the hygiene standard is low. He touches cash with his bare hands and then again with the same hand (without washing it) he will open the food satchel he is about to place your food in, Giving you a full on germs experience. Avoid at all costs.

I so agree with JPMac359! They charge you what they want when they want. The price increase is ridiculous. The food is nice, however their tortellini tastes exactly the same as the one from the Sainsbury's. Monica is the best there, smiley, quick and makes the best latte. The owner is moody and grumpy. We stopped going there as the prices change all the time and the owner is not friendly. Shame as we liked it few years ago.

This place used to be top drawer.I was happy to pay 6 pound for a sandwich because you got real quality.I have always been annoyed with the lack of consistency/transparency re the pricing policy but was happy to look through it because of the quality. Over the past few months, I have been forced to reassess ... The new staff are abysmal especially the new guy behind the deli - he is impolite, incompetent and slow (Bring back Monika). The pricing is even more inconsistent! I went 2 times in 5 days a month ago and ordered the same sandwich and there was 1.50 in the difference! When questioned, he gave me the biggest cock and bull story about new bread they were using (100% the same bread)!! To add to this, the portions have shrunk - they are getting stingier and stingier!!! All in, I am getting completely ripped off. Save your money and go to Pret. Avoid!!!
