Le Petit Beefbar in Kensington and Chelsea

Our experience was excellent. My partner and I visited for food and drinks and were both extremely pleased with the service and food. Special mention to Adrian and Rob for their service as it was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our night at the restaurant. Thank you again Adrian and Rob for the brilliant service! Cocktails are amazing aswell.

Had a lovely dinner. The CROQUE SANDO, Dry aged beef ribeye prosciutto, mozzarella, La sauce beefbar is to die for. Steak frites just a classic. Love the tropical Negroni. Attentive service. Loved it.

Birthday booking at the petit beef bar, Nov 2nd 5 people 7.15. Vegan steaks ordered, with the request to substitute the fries for truffle fries. We asked if this would cost extra and we’re told no, that’s fine. Steaks arrived, but the fries had Parmesan on them, obviously no good for vegans.. They were substituted, but steaks mainly eaten by then. On looking at the bill later, disappointed to see we’d been charged the full £8 a portion for the fries, Other things wrong with the service as well. One vegetarian guest who does not like fake meat ordered 2 vegetarian starters to have as a main, with all the food to come out at the same time. But no! They were brought out as starters despite our request. Prosecco poured directly from above the glass at a height so it fizzed up, took ages to pour and this strange way of serving it made it flat. At £50 a bottle this is not acceptable. Very very disappointing experience.

Nice to try some new vegan dishes. My partner loved the vegan steak and I tried the mini vegan “slider” burgers. Great service, very friendly and attentive. A few negatives though. Table was tiny and quite cramped. Was freezing cold inside - some heating wouldn’t go amiss. Ladies toilet was filthy and reminded of a gents in a budget pub - no toilet roll, dirty toilet seat and floor amuck with water and soiled towels. Food was barely lukewarm and chips were quite dry. I’d like to give a better rating as our server was so nice and the food had potential. It came quickly so maybe it had been sitting around for a while and wasn’t completely fresh. Don’t think I’d return if I was in the area again.

We had the pepper steak with the mashed potatoes. It was rasta but price was high especially with the too small portion of the mash. For the dessert I took the fresh ice cream with different sautés and that was a portion for two. We were surprised that you could bring dogs to the place, we had one next too us and it sort of disturbed when people stopped and commented the dog and stopped for tapping it. Crowded place on a Sunday and high volume both on the music and the people talking, was a bit hard to have a conversation. There are probably better places in London even if the steak was good.

This IS the absolute best vegan meat me and my girlfriend have had in our lives. Very very happy vegans. Excellent arrive from Ranveer.

My husband and I fancied a burger tonight but decided to try somewhere new and I was very excited to gat a last minute table at Le Petit Beefbar. We had passed by a few days earlier at it looked so very promising. We ordered the Chicken cigars as sharing starter which were pretty underwhelming, rather cold, soggy, and tasteless but were saved by the dipping sauce. We still held high expectations for the burger as we had been assured by the waiter it was very good despite them not being able to cook to medium. Alarm bells should have triggered at that point but at £29 for a burger I told myself it would be good. The burger arrived in paper … which I eagerly unwrapped to find the most unappealing offering in front of me. The pictures say it all. It was lukewarm to the touch. The burger itself was burnt round the outside but had never seen a grill. The piece I reluctantly nibbled was like cardboard and quite inedible. The fries were undercooked equally inedible. We very politely complained. We were offered the opportunity to reorder but at that point we had zero confidence in ordering anything else and decided to try our luck elsewhere. We were charged for our teeny coke, a bottle of water and the poor chicken cigars (c£30 incl service). I felt robbed. Maybe the steaks are better but I won’t be risking it!

Expansive menu, fresh produce and sharp service. All was great and it's been our third visit. Unexpectantly the desert - French toast was one of the best dishes we've ever had.

Such unbelievable food served by the wonderful Beatrice who made it a memorable occasion. Highly recommend

The food selection of Wagyu and Kobe beef was impressive, although, Halal options were a limited selection of the menu. The service was excellent and staff are very helpful. The food is good quality but portions are on the smaller side so would recommend ordering extra or additional sides. Interior is quite pretty and the location is very nice. Would recommend if you’re in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way for this restaurant.

The perfect way to start a Sunday with the “Kobe Mary” pairing with signature “Steak, Frites & Sauce” and “Wagyu Bavette”. The beef was very tender and juicy. The “Homemade Beef Fat Chips” os definitely something you don’t wanna miss.

Dinner was OK and service weird, beef fell on my host’s shoulder. He was lucky it did not land on his head. Waiters would refuse to tidy the table by removing empty glass of wine. Weird.

Bao bun good. Starters overpriced. Steak ok but nothing special. Mash nice but portion small. Asked us if we wanted another bottle of wine then asked us shortly after to move out the seat (1.5 hour) as someone else needed table. I would expect 2 hours like most places when spending over £350 for starters and mains for 2 people. IMO Hawksmoor Knightsbridge cheaper, better food and you get longer at table.

What can I say, was so excited for this restaurant. Only to be let down terribly. We order KFC, which came almost immediately. Which was very mediocre. Then we waited 25mins for the next round of food. All cold, service was good. Food was well below what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

Usually a big fan of beef bar, but the one in London just did’t do it. The food is below average to say the most - the fries were too oily and the meat - literally made me sick to my stomach and I told them about this but totally ignored me. I had the bao buns - which I gather are a best seller, but the meat had a weird taste. I had them changed for the benedict eggs, all this while asking and making sure the meat is different and they assured me it is indeed totally cooked differently. Needless to say, the meat had the same weird taste that cause stocmah aches. The eggs were not cooked throughly, almodt raw. The restaurant is nice and the atmosphere is cozy, but wouldn’t recommend a £60 lunch - glass of wine accompanied by french fries.

Cosy restaurant first impression good 👍🏻. Wasn’t super busy when I asked for some ice but it took 3 times of asking before I got it. When we ordered they pushed the starters way to fast even before opening the wine. After slowing them down...

Absolutely delicious steak! I had the filet mignon and honestly it was cooked to perfection! Starters were amazing, too! I loved the buzzy vibe of this neighbourhood restaurant on a Friday evening. Staff tried really hard to please their customers.

Came first time for dinner on Monday; nice little restaurant in South Kensington. Croque sando and bao bun were great, steaks cooked to perfection and the soft serve ice cream is on another level. Love it.

I was excited to visit this new edition to the London culinary scene. The staff were charming, helpful and friendly. The venue which has changed hands from the Blenheim Pub to Tom Aitkins is now part of the Le Petite Beefbar chain. The restaurant oozes...

I've been hunting for a good French restaurant in Chelsea for years! Finally found this one, which opened last year! The main course was delicious. But the dessert even better! It had real live French people serving too as well as visitors!
