Company quiz. Food good and good pint of guinness. Always great venue.

I came here for lunch and had the famous steak sandwich which was rather bland. I've had far better ones in chain pubs. Perhaps I was just unlucky though as everyone else seemed to be enjoying theirs.

If your are beef lover or lamb & salmon lover this is the place with perfect vibe. Live retro music and wine.

Beautiful Steak Sandwich with fries and a coke. I had the take out option as I was working but very nice and will try to visit the restaurant when I'm in the area again. Parking meters are close by.

A group of us visit this venue fairly regularly to see a tribute act, such an enjoyable event. This is a little gem of a place, quite Art Deco in appearance. Very friendly, efficient and polite staff, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean. The food is excellent, I never particularly expect much from a set menu but the food here will not disappoint, I highly recommend the salmon! Not forgetting the cocktails! The acoustics here are also great! A thoroughly enjoyable evening, now a regular In our diary. Will be back in November!

Excellent experience. Due to the Art Deco mirrors around the bar, the stage and small dance floor area visible - it felt like the 1930s. Wonderful place with a great busy atmosphere and occasional events on stage. I only give the service 4 stars as we were never asked if we wanted more drinks at the table. I always feel a restaurant should for top service as it saves chasing or asking

This is my go-to for client lunches in the city. A glass of claret and the steak sandwich (with fries) is simple, quick...the perfect lunch.

Steak sandwich restaurant I would say as it seemed like people ordering only that menu. Food was not impressive but good enough to enjoy and the adequate number of waitresses were attentive to customers. Food was a bit under seasoned and took a while to deliver during the lunch rush. But the experience is excellent and food was good, but expensive for what we got.

A good place to take clients albeit noisy. The food was good. Service was OK. The staff were friendly and polite but possibly needed a little more training. Would have been nice to have been given the dessert menu and asked if wanted coffees. Saying this I would go back. Great location.

Good food and a great ambience for meeting friends or clients. Risotto rice was left a bit crispy, but everyone seemed to really enjoy their food.

Amazing location for lunch in the city. Try the steak sandwich and fries is so good but many other great options on the menu. The staff were great and supremely efficient. The different dinning area give the opportunity for both intimate and business style dinning.

Brilliant food ,very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere not cheap but worth the money. I was there for a company party so was not paying but know people who have been on their accord and they have been extremely pleased. Would highly recommend.

Had the xmas party here. Would have got 4 stars if a aged single malt whisky was available instead of 10 years.

Terrible service. Clearly not a venue for larger groups. Some tables left waiting while others had had two courses. At the end of the night the balding “manager” (had no concept of customer service) told us the bar was closed, which was to explain why our drinks has been taken away. Awful considering what we paid.

A return to a favourite restaurant. Clients both enjoyed their skate/bass. Wine went down a treat! Win win!!

Large portions and tasty food but service was poor

I went with work colleagues for a team lunch and was recommended to have the steak sandwich. I have to say it was delicious, tender rare steak (even though I asked for medium rare but they are french) sandwiched between toasted white bread and a plate of crispy skinny chips, simple but so tasty. I will definitely be going back for more steak and chips.

On Holiday from the U.S. Stopped by there on the way to our VRBO and stayed for 3 hours one night. One of the most enjoyable places we've ever visited. Great atmosphere . . . great drinks. . . great pricing . . . great music. Went back the next day for lunch and it was even better!

Great service lovely food and atmosphere

Visité Paris Grill el martes y tuve un día encantador. El restaurante estaba lleno y se sentía cómodo pero espacioso. El ambiente amigable y relajado pero inteligente. Muchos chicos en almuerzos de negocios. Nuestras comidas eran de primera clase, muchas cosas encantadoras en el menú y la comida era muy sabrosa y cocinada a la perfección. No me puedo quejar del servicio. No puedo esperar para comer allí de nuevo!

Un lugar frecuentado mucho por mis colegas y yo. Buena comida tradicional francesa con una excelente carta de vinos, que tiene un precio razonable teniendo en cuenta la naturaleza de la clientela y la zona. También hay un área más para comer bocadillos de carne, etc. para las personas que necesitan una comida más rápida. Una innovación relativamente nueva en el piso de arriba y que bien merece una visita.

Love this place...very friendly and attentive staff but not too attentive. Would highly recommend their steak sandwich...its amazing and the toasted steak the best I've ever had in between two slices of bread..and I've had far too many for one person. Always find me a table even at their busiest times but would always suggest pre-booking as I probably get a table because I'm a regular customer. Limited menu and not suitable for veggies or vegans. Each dish is delicious. Highly recommended.

Two old friends and former work colleagues meeting for a catch-up weekday lunch. As you would expect, reasonably busy restaurant on first floor mainly full of business lunch clientele. While the food is solid fare, it was not inspired and perhaps reflects the demands of the City clients. Not unduly expensive by local standards. Service was fine although the only side dish ordered with the main course did not appear and while its omission was immediately advised to the waiting staff it took too long to be produced (simple dish of sautéed spinach). 2 glasses of an adequate Merlot, 2 pints of Peroni, 1 tomato soup, one pan fried Scallops (tasty but pretty modest portion size), 2 mains being the special of the day, Beef Bourguignon + 1 side and 1 large Expresso = £78.90 + 12.5% service = £88.76.

Quality of food is excellent and the staff really attentive. This has become a regular choice of restaurant for me on trips to London.

Awful customer service! I went here last night and have to say I have not received such terrible customer service in a very long time. I ordered a steak sandwich and can only describe this as a thin bit of meat between two slices of toast, a bit of salad and a plate full of fries. I was not able to gain the attention of any waiting staff as I was not given a knife and fork or follow up service with which to ask for any condiments. I had to ask the girl making cocktails behind the bar for a napkin and some manager/owner for some ketchup. Not once did any waiting staff ask if I was enjoying my meal, in fact I don't think I ever saw any of them smile! I asked to pay my bill, this was duly delivered and I was then left waiting, and waiting, and waiting...The same cocktail waitress (the only staff member with the ability to smile) asked if I wanted to pay seeing me stood there for ages. I replied that I would but on no way was I going to pay the added service charge! The bare faced cheek, to add a service charge when there was no customer service! Appalling! Yes the music, the people dancing seemed to be enjoying themselves, but honestly you could not pay me enough to go back here!

Went there for Christmas lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, food was very good, my rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and the cheesecake was fantastic too. Recommended.

I have been a couple of times for lunch meetings to this venue over the summer. On both occasions we were seated at the tables by the bar on the first floor. The service is swift and friendly, and the lunch menus are nice - sandwiches, burgers, f&c;, etc. They have a good selection of wines.

Steak sandwiches are incredible

My sister, niece and I dined here recently. We were surprised that it was so quiet on a Friday evening but we found the staff to be very professional and friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant quiet and relaxed.

Great restaurant with solid reliable food, good service and sensible price for a City eaterie.

Whether from the restaurant or the bar menu, the food here is scrumptious , yet also served in generous portions. Service is remarkable . . . welcoming, knowledgeable, responsive, yet unobtrusive. The wine list is predominantly French, and has some exquisite options.

IF ypu are looking for a quiet venue for a confidential meeting then this is probably not for you. For us it was fine . The ambiance is great if you are happy in a bustling venue. The food was first class and the staff attentative but not overpowering . Excellent
