Esta es la 3ª vez que visitamos este establecimiento; y sin duda nos decepcionó. La lasaña de cangrejo que miraba hacia abajo era del tamaño de una pieza de 50 p. No pude encontrar el cangrejo y para agregar a esto la pasta era como una mucosa y resbaladiza y difícil de sostener para cortar; también carecía de sabor. De hecho, le pedí al servidor que me mostrara dónde estaba el cangrejo, lo encontró difícil y teniendo en cuenta el precio, asqueroso. Nos sirvieron 4 rebanadas de baguette rancio con UNA palmadita de mantequilla entre nosotros dos. Procedimos al plato principal de Duck sous vide, si era sous vide, soy un pollo. Esto debería haber caído del hueso, en lugar de eso tuvimos que cortarlo con precisión quirúrgica; era difícil y no tenía ningún sabor a condimento, de hecho, iría tan lejos como para decir que se hizo en un horno de microondas. Para colmo de males, pedimos un poco de pan y se sirvieron 2 1/2 rebanadas de pan duro y nuevamente con UNA porción de mantequilla y tuvieron la audacia de cobrar extra por esto a un costo de 2: 50 p. Mi amiga escribió en el recibo que estaba disgustada por la comida y el cargo adicional por pan duro y que después de pagar 150 por nosotros dos, nunca volvería a visitar este establecimiento. Entonces, a través de su avaricia, perdieron un buen cliente potencial. O bien son duros por el dinero o simplemente codiciosos.

Una noche aquí el domingo. 6 disfrutamos de una excelente comida y servicio. Todo estaba delicioso de salmón curado, raras hermosa. Trucha deliciosa carne asada. No hay espacio para postres! Sin duda volveremos!

Nos encanta el restaurante estado un par de veces y casi siempre decepcionado. Si te gusta el buen ambiente y la comida era promedio y un menú corto este es el lugar para ti. Yo recomendaría una reforma en el menú y al menos una buena ad bistec, o langosta.

Had a wonderful romantic lunch here. And very good value on the menu du jour £35 or so with a glass of brut. Good portions, lots of flavour, and exceptionally good service... High spot was the very skilled sommelier- we asked him to recommend a wine flight and he turned it into a wine tasting. Great for a treat.

This was a lovely venue for my daughter and I to meet, dine and take in the ambiance of the hotel and fabulous views. The food was excellent and the service very attentive, all that we expected. Highly recommend. A special treat.

Visited with friends recently....best Bloody Mary for a while, Sunday lunch menu, great choices, I opted for the cod which was heavenly. A fantastic time, staff came into the same category.

Visited on a Friday evening booked online on the morning They rang me back to say that they had happy hour in their bar 2 cocktails for price of one Very enterprising and helpful said they would save seats in downstairs bar Arrived at 7 45 Went down to a charming bar Asked for two negronis The very helpful bar staff showed me the negroni in an earthenware pot and explained their use of unusual vermouths They were beautiful drinks and the staff created a great atmosphere and start to the evening Went upstairs to the restaurant and I was delighted with the food quality and service Boudin Noir superb Escargots delicious Lamb main course tender pink and flavoursome with slight hints of eastern flavours Tarte tatin tremendous Wine luscious and delicious Armagnac I highly recommend Not cheap but a wonderful food and atmosphere experience

The Galvin brothers have two very different restaurants built almost as one in Spitalfields. On this occasion we went to the Galvin Hop. I had been before for lunch and had had an amazingly authentic "steak et frites." On that basis I recommended the Galvin Hop for a special family evening meal. Alas, no "steak et frites" but happily much else to choose from. The family's reaction was mixed. The person who had the fish was very disappointed but kept this to himself until we were away from the restaurant. I couldn't put my finger on it but I felt the food tried too hard and missed excellence. Sad as I have been singing the praise of both the Galvin Spitalfields outlets.

My wife and I were delighted to find this superb French cuisine eatery in our neighbourhood. We tried the Lamb and Beef Bavette which were both amazing main dishes. The best of all 10 out of the p was the Apple Tartin truly the best I have tried in London (as advertised!)

Charming service, lovely ambiance, excellent lunch. Wine is not as cheap as some places, but for a gorgeous lunch with fab food, I was very happy. Going again soon!

Along baker street, nearly heart of west end and so easy to park. Although quite noisy from a lighthearted the manager seated us in a quiet area. Good service great choice of food and house wine was excelent.

Lovely restaurant. My husband and I along with our young sons. Lovely food and desserts. Boys had pouision and we had lamb. Very friendly staff and tentative.

Walked past this restaurant and was attracted by the quaint front and the multiple recommendation stickers on the front door. I was dressed pretty shabby that evening with fruit pip in my hand (I was snacking whilst walking) but they were friendly and nice, offered me tissue to wrap up the fruit to throw away. I made my reservation requesting a corner booth table.Had a lovely dinner, at my requested table option, with friendly service and non-judging non-arrogant attitude from all the staff we talked to including the lovely sommelier. This can be rare in such restaurants so I was pleasantly surprised. The white wine recommended was fruity and floral complimenting the pave of cod with shrimps and samphire which was delicious in a herby Beurre blanc kind of sauce (sorry I forgot to confirm the proper names for the dish). The famous apple tarte tatin was good, not the best I have had but my friend rated it highly and finished it for me!I am sure I will be back. Probably for the good value prix fixe menu at lunch or dinner which is more in my price range. This is quite a pricey place to order a la carte with wine.

Fuimos al que está situado en Baker Street para cenar, mi pareja y yo, aunque suele ir toda la familia. Es elegante y coqueto, con ambiente agradable. Muy buena cocina francesa y buen servicio. El salmón está exquisito, y el postre de manzana excepcional. Buenos vinos donde elegir.Tiene un precio elevado, quizá por su situación y porque también está de moda. Ideal para todo tipo de reuniones, ya sea en pareja, familiar o trabajo. Volveremos :P.

For people who appreciate fine dining this is the place. The crab starter was heavenly. The lamb main course succulent. The tarte tatin was sheer bliss.Will put this on my visit again list

Booked for Mum's Birthday where they thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses from set menu. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful as they were running late for a show. Chefs made a special effort which was really appreciated thank you to all the staff for contributing to a wonderful evening definitely recommend and will visit again soon

Booked into the Baker Street restaurant, rang to say we would be 15 minutes late due to heavy traffic and confirmed they would hold our table. Arrived and guest what they couldn't find our reservation and found the girls on reception to be very snooty. Finally got our table and quite frankly had just an OK meal, nothing to get excited about. Wouldn't rush back!

I booked Galvin Baker Street through top table our guest was an ex pat living in States but comes back to London every few months . We were only offered the top table menu and it took a while to get the a la carte menu. . The service was a bit anxious as if they only wanted us to use the top table offer strange . Anyway we all ordered from the excellent priced £23 3course plus an aperitif. It was jolly good, basic food well cooked and well flavoured the tarte tartin outstanding . As good as any brassiere in Paris A great London restaurant .
