Lazzeez Southampton in Southampton

Visited on a Thursday night so not too busy thankfully as they were a little under staffed and so we did have to wait awhile to place our orders for drinks and food. We had a slight mix up with the amount of poppadam’s and chutney’s but this was quickly resolved The mains were absolutely lovely and there were no complaints and the sauces were so good that every bowl was wiped clean with the naan breads. Except for the slow service we had a great evening and we will return. In fairness the two staff that they did have worked extremely hard to keep everyone happy especially as by the time we left it was quite busy

Always like an Indian and on looking for somewhere different to go had read the good reports on Lazzees with its awards decided to give it a go with some friends. Arrived on time to a sparsely full restaurant we were sat down and in turn it took a while for anyone to come to our table to take a drinks order. Eventually a waiter arrived to take our drinks order and on placing our order were advised that two items were not available Magners and a bottle of Chardonnay surprisingly. Settled for a bottle of Pinot Grigio instead and the drinks arrived soon after although the Pinot Grigio was one of the cheapest on the market and nearly all supermarkets sell it as cheap promotion wine. Food arrived after ordering and all I can say is food was underwhelming. It was no better than other restaurants in the city and definitely worse than some. Staff didn’t exactly put themselves out to look after our party. Don’t think we will be returning any time soon as there are definitely better options for an Indian in the area. Underwhelmed is probably the right assessment for Lazzees.

Entiendo lo que Jaderow quiere decir en su revisión. Visitamos tarde (10 : 00 ) un viernes por la noche y el restaurante era tranquilo y el servicio lento. Sin embargo, nuestro grupo de 6 estaba celebrando el debut de Uni show de nuestra hija y así que estábamos de buen humor con mucho de qué hablar y así que para nosotros el restaurante era justo lo que necesitábamos. Los entrantes de samosa y bhaji eran encantadores y frescos. Los platos principales eran buenos, aunque no la tierra - demoledor. El mío tenía un buen sabor y calor y todos los demás parecían disfrutar mucho de su comida. Toda la comida se servía en una vajilla encantadora y sencilla en lugar de los omnipresentes platos indios. Fue una presentación encantadora que lo hizo diferente. El personal era moderado pero amable cuando hablamos con ellos, tal vez nos estaban permitiendo tomar las cosas a nuestro ritmo. Nos divertimos inmensamente y volveremos allí el próximo mes para la misma experiencia después del espectáculo y estaremos encantados si tenemos la misma experiencia imperfecta.

I work for an Indian company and this is a restaurant my colleagues use. I wanted to order 50 samosas for my team. 2 hours before collection asked if I could have 20 more and it was no issue. 70 samosas all freshly cooked that went down well with the team.

Recientemente visité después de escuchar cosas tan grandes en las críticas recientes, pero desafortunadamente, mi experiencia no estuvo a la altura de las altas expectativas establecidas por otros. Al llegar, el ambiente era mediocre, y el personal no era muy atento y no parecía ser muy amable con el cliente, las cosas fueron cuesta abajo desde allí. El servicio fue lento, y tuvimos que esperar mucho más de lo previsto para nuestras bebidas cuando solo había tres mesas en el restaurante. El menú parecía prometedor, pero cuando llegaron los platos carecían de los sabores vibrantes que esperaba. A algunos artículos que habíamos pedido se les pidió que fueran “suaves”, pero cuando se llevaron a la mesa los artículos eran bastante picantes, lo que fue un shock para alguien que no es fan de la comida picante. La comida no reflejaba la calidad que esperaba según los comentarios recientes.

Ordered a takeaway for a birthday get-together for 8 people. This was also a trial run for a family visit as we're local. The delivery time was nearly 2 hours.....not acceptable at all. The food was near enough cold. We were very disappointed and annoyed as one of our meals was missing too. The food tasted ok which was the only posotive but there was hardly any chicken in the meals...they were mainly all sauce.....skimping!!! The jalfrezzeis didn't use chilli's....they used peppers.....skimping!!! Lazzeez... you have shot yourselves in the foot!!!! None of us will be ordering or visiting here again. If you want curry sauce with a lack of ingredients and your evening ruined .....order from here ....they won't dissapoint.

Condujo hasta Southampton para quedarse la noche antes de salir en un crucero. Nuestro hotel estaba justo al otro lado de la carretera del restaurante indio. Llamé alrededor de las 6. 00 pm y conseguí una mesa, muy tranquila en este momento, de hecho éramos los únicos de la cena. Pinta de Kingfisher era bueno, y nuestros entrantes también eran buenos. Mi esposa tenía un talio y yo un pollo al curry. Ambas excelentes comidas. Disfrutamos de nuestra visita y sin duda volvería de nuevo.

Nuestra primera visita y nos invitaron a una comida fabulosa ... bien vale la pena un viaje un jueves por la noche. Servicio amable y considerado - genial!

En realidad estábamos caminando a otro restaurante, pero mi esposa estaba muy cansada! Pero afortunadamente nos encontramos con Lazzeez, tan contentos de haberlo hecho. La comida y los sabores eran increíbles. Fue una noche ajetreada, así que tuve que esperar un poco, pero la espera valió la pena. Recomendaría encarecidamente Chas

Food and Service all excellent .Mr ravi is a very good chef who prepares Indian cuisine authentic flavors .Mr kanwar and Mr.Sanjay ably support to attend the customers with pleasantries which makes this a place for.repeated visits for us ...keep up this quality.Thanks for the excellent food in our visits .I would recommend this place for both veg and non veg lovers for Indian cuisine.

Just had a truly amazing experience at Lazzeez. We stopped in by accident when passing, it was the best accident by far. We were seated straight away by the lovely staff. The food was to die for and great portion sizes. The staff were very kind and making sure we had a great experience.

If you are looking for fantastic Indian cuisine, you need look no further than Lazzeez! My favorite Indian dish used to be Lamb Rogan Josh until I tried the Chicken Makhanwala at Lazzeez! The mild, slightly sweet curry sauce over succulent chicken and light steamed rice was simply amazing. Try it and you may have a new favorite Indian dish AND restaurant!

I only discovered this because of a good friend organising a big lunch get together. What a result! The food was delicious, the staff were lovely and I’m really looking forward to going back for a proper evening meal. Well done guys, see you again soon.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant, authentic and lots of vegetarian meals. Staff are at attentive and friendly too. Ravi tested a new recipe on us which was very tasty. If you live anywhere near here, make sure you pop in. Cuisine at its best and yet very affordable. Many thanks Ravi 👍 Geoff

Great, tasty Indian food. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was quiet but getting busier as we were there. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious.

I'm from Wolverhampton and we think we have the best Indian restaurants. We really dont. The food in this restaurant is truly stunning with many dishes on the menu that I had never had before Do try the cauliflower manchurian as it really is stand out! I urge anyone finding themselves in this area to try this restaurants It really is a winner!!

chicken tikka massala tasted like a ready meal it didnt even look like a massala, very bland and also very shy on the portion of size probally the worst indian food i have ever had

This is easily one of the best Indian restaurant in Southampton. The taste is very authentic. We've been here a couple of times and enjoyed both the experiences. They have a good selection of both veg and non veg options. We tried panneer butter masala, garlic naan, chicken biryani, kadhai lamb, chilli chicken, lamb shami kebab and cauliflower manchurian. Everything was exceptional! The staff were kind and lovely as well! Thank you Zubin and Devesh!

Wonderfully refreshing, is how I would describe the food in this restaurant. Not the normal Indian in any way ,there are the traditional dishes, but you can't go wrong with this style of Indian cuisine. I would say probably the best Ghost biryani I have ever had. Massively flavoursome. Our starters we fantastic too .in my opinion this restaurant will be a huge hit in Southampton. 10/10 for food .

Had a works do at Lazzeez this afternoon, had a buffet full of the tastiest food I've had in a while. Staff were great too. I will definitely be going back again

Lazzeez offers an exquisite culinary experience that authentically captures the essence of Indian cuisine. Being an Indian myself, I can say its a delightful treat for someone with an Indian palate. Staff is also attentive providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere & ensuring a comfortable dining experience.

The food was very yummy especially Chicken starters. We loved the service and the staff was also very friendly.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Southampton I visited , the food is really awesome and authentic, chef Ravi is having great experience about the taste of Indian food the food was properly balanced with the spices and flavour. I enjoyed a lot .

It was my birthday and we went for dinner it was so amazing, all preps were done by the lazzeez team priorly, the staff is very friendly and supportive. The greet us well on arrival. The menu is compelled very nicely. We had kashmiri lamb...

Found this little gem opposite my hotel, food was really good quality, I had a fantastic meal. The service was also top and the guys working were lovely to talk to, cracking pint of Cobra on draft too. Thank you Craig

Booked a table go celebrate my step Son coming home from Valencia and could not have found a more welcoming restaurant. Staff we friendly and efficient and the food was exemplary. Have recommended it to others and intent to return monthly and work our way...
