Lazy Days Cafe in South Cambridgeshire

I just just got a coffee from your cafe. I asked for a fruit scone and your staff member was unsure if you had any she then proceeded to feel all the scones with her bare hand before telling me there was one. Of course I declined to take one, not withstanding there is global pandemic it is completely unhygienic to handle food in that manner. Disgusting!

Called in here for breakfast get good portion good food only thing is restaurant is always cold staff friendly but not over top and 50p tea refills

Came here for the first time a couple of months ago and really enjoyed my breakfast so thought I’d pop back when I was next in the area in my lorry. Recommend the place to lorry drivers, good food selection, helpful staff and good car park.

Car park would ruin any suspension. No signs to say order at checkout so sat down. and waited to be given a menu as couldnt see one anywhere. No-one spoke to us, Staff looked miserable and dint tell us what to do sat for 10 mins then decided that it was pointless.

Popped in here for a break as I'd been driving for a while and it looked appealing. Good choice of breakfasts and other lunch meals but I fancied a good old English breakfast. Delicious, well worth the stop. Coffee is very good too. Will definitely be back.

Good choice and great fresh food. We popped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with a greater choice than average and the food was freshly cooked.

I pulled into the car park of this cafe this morning (around 9am) after a long drive from the south coast to visit somewhere nearby. It looked like a handy place to stretch mine and my dog’s legs after travelling, with a potential breakfast/tea stop after the walk. Having been for a quick stroll at the nearby Wimpole Estate, I headed back to my car to secure the dog before considering some food which smelt nice despite the appearance of the place. As I was at my car a lady (I assume staff or owner of the run down looks shack) came running over to me shouting as if there was some sort of emergency! I asked if I could help but she instead started shouting at me for parking there and walking my dog saying “it takes the piss really!” Needless to say my appetite for spending any money or time at this derelict establishment disappeared altogether. Make your own decisions but I wouldn’t take my custom there unless I wanted to be insulted, I only gave it one star because I couldn’t give none!

Have been coming here for years very friendly staff and quality food it’s a lovly cafe and very accommodating when ive took my grandchildren always quick service and decent portions can’t fault it

A very friendly cafe which serves good honest food, if your expecting The Ivy then go elsewhere, if you want good food at good prices served by nice people then this is the place for you, the potatoes they serve with breakfast are amazing !

Asked for hard egg... well it could have run of the plate!! Not the first time this has happened! Staff are so rude bar one lady who is always smiling and happy! Cafe no longer a truckers cafe, teapots and cups and saucers. Went to day which will be the last.. staff just rude and clearly did not want our custom... well they have succeeded as we shall not visit again! Avoid and save your money and go somewhere else! Just trying to turn into the car park is an obstacle as clearly with the chains and cones at the front they are not inviting trucks or anything larger than a mini to park up!

Quite possibly the best home cooked English breakfast. Perfectly located to set you up for the day for a visit to the beautiful Country House and grounds of the National Trust Wimpole Hall.

had good coffee, breakfast - eggs nicely fried and really yellow yolks, buttered toast, a rather ordinary suasage and nice bacon. Slightly dated decore, but friendly. perfectly ok.

If you want good quality local ingredients then DONT come here. Awful food, cold miserable looking plate arrived pretty much like the staff member that brought it over. Funny smell to the plates as well that over powers the food somewhat. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly wouldn’t come back.

not very happy with this level of service well over priced for two plates of food £17 for a fry up and pancakes with bacon. Fry up was ordered with chips and came out with flat potatoes wasn’t even told they had ran out plus the pancakes with bacon was missing the full piece of bacon as it was just two end bits. Then as we are sat eating the lady serving people coming in decides to start hoovering as we are all sat eating in what would of been a quiet meal. Wouldn’t recommend coming here as I now have a really bad stomach.

Friendly cafe with good choice of fresh cooked meals, snacks and sandwiches. Great cup of tea and served with a smile. 😎

The food here is always top notch but on an early morning visit recently was spoilt by being served on an ice cold plate which obviously had not been warmed up at all so the food was cold way too quick.The café was like the arctic as well which made it even worse

As a regular eater at LD I can throughly recommend it for the following ; Large parking area Locally sourced and cooked ingredients. Free WiFi Selection of hot and cold meals Fresh coffee Relaxed atmosphere but a trifle cold sometimes !

Friendly, helpful staff who really try. Great English Breakfasts, plus the usual goodies, they also do Pancakes and syrup, yummy. Lunches can be light or more substantial if you wish. Lovely cakes. Cash only, no cards.

Es bastante increíble en edad de hoy que todavía hay lugares donde no aceptan tarjetas, y este es uno de ellos. Sí, cuesta dinero a aceptar tarjetas, es "el precio de hacer negocios".

Good value homecooked cafe food especially good for breakfast and lunch as it closes at two thirty ish so it has always been closed when we have driven past before.

Visited here today for breakfast, really friendly, clean and freshly cooked food, the homemade cake looked delicious and the place was spotless, will definitely be going again

Comimos en el Café, en ocasiones la comida es buena, recién preparados, así que a veces lleno puede que tenga que esperar un poco más. Gran selección, elegir una del menú o hacer una elección propia con usted, muchas otras opciones de comida, pescado, empanadas,...

Una vez pasado este lugar muchas, muchas veces, pero sólo cuando está cerrado (véase más adelante), tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer una parada para comer un bocado semana pasada. Seamos honestos - es una cafetería exclusiva para el transporte, pero que se usa mucho para no-camioneros; no es de extrañar ya que está situado en la A603, una calle bastante tranquila para vehículos pesados. De hecho, es la primera cosa a tener en cuenta, ya que no está en Royston; es muy cerca del cruce de la A603 y diríjase hacia A1198 (Cambridge). No está mal, el aparcamiento es bastante irregular y se abre horas camioneros, por ejemplo, cierra a las 2.30 pm - 3 pm. Sin embargo, eso no es el punto. Si lo que quieres es bueno, comida sana y recién cocinado y con servicio personal, entonces venga aquí para eso y una excelente relación calidad-precio. Encontrará conexión Wi-Fi y un café de máquina de café decente también. Está limpio y ofrece algunas sillas cómodas también.
