Went for the "beer school" experience. Jess was our hostess. She knows about the beers and is very personable. We weren't rushed, got to taste 6 different BrewDog ales/ciders paired with a cheeseboard. All in all, a very enjoyable day.

A group of 6 of us went for the beer school experience and all loved it. Our server Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful. The cheese board that came with the drinks was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

They did an excellent job catering to gluten-free requirements. It can be tough to find places that truly get it, but Brewdog nailed it with a great selection of gluten-free options and staff that really knew their stuff. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Brewdog and highly recommend it if you're looking for great food, excellent service, and gluten-free options that actually taste awesome!

Brewdog, while a great and varied beer company (wingman and Elvis juice are my favourites), also has some of the best pubs in the country. Sheffield is a stand out: great atmosphere, the music is always perfect. The food is impeccable and the staff are always spot on. The Big Pastrami pizza is a complete winner. James and Sam always make us feel welcome and valued when we eat or drink in, as part of our local community in the town centre. Also a fantastic touch having a projector for the rugby! 5* ladies and gents.

Smashed 12 pizzas off between the lads, pizzas were unreal, good atmosphere and James that served us was a top bloke!

This place felt like a magical experience. From the minute I walked in James was just a complete gentleman. At times he felt a bit forward but the end of the day he was VERY friendly. Had a fantastic time here and what a bonus they served beer. If you decide to come. Come for James

Friendly staff and a nice size bar but unfortunately I was very disappointed with the selection of beers available, there was no Wingman, which was the whole reason for going there as it is a favourite of my friend, so we went on to our next choice , Hazy Jane , which then ran out also, both strengths ! By the end of our night they hardly had any beers left …..I cannot fault the staff , they were amazing , they said it was a problem with the delivery . You need to get on top of this Brewdog, you can’t have a bar with no beer

With student discount this is a really affordable bar with good quality beers with a really big selection. Only issue is the lighting is a bit harsh that affects the atmosphere of the bar.

We had a taste and beer experience and it was hosted by the general manager I'm sorry I forgot his name (probably the Elvis juice)but he was absolutely fantastic we was in a group or 4 and I would highly recommend it.i will be back,it was the Sheffield venue we was at.

Attended one of Brewdogs beer schools. 2 hours of beer tasting and excellent hosting. James was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

It wasn't the most happening new years eve party, and the wristband thing wasn't well communicated to us.... But we had a chilled evening with cheap drinks so all good.

We went to Brewdog Sheffield for a beer experience where we tried 5 beers with a cheese board. The service was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The beer and cheese were excellent of course. We really enjoyed our couple of hours in Brewdog and would highly recommend.

Brewdog Sheffield is a great venue for excellent beers and food. Atmosphere is relaxed but also has a buzz about it. Loads of beers to choose from which I like and food is good quality. Staff very friendly and helpful plus knowledgeable on the beer types. Will definitely be back when we’re back in the city. 😎

We arrived at 515 on a Saturday. There was only 1 hot dog left (there's only hot dogs and pizzas on the menu anyway). We were told food would be 45 minute wait. An hour later we had to ask and it would be another 20 minutes. When food arrived, the hot dog was completely burnt. We were offered a replacement but we were already late for a gig so had to leave. The staff and manager were great, and explained it was due to a staff shortage and we were offered a free drink, but it was still a disappointing experience.

Amazing place, service was perfect, and there is a great selection of drinks i would personally recommend Black Heart.

We waited for over 20 minutes at the bar, which wasn’t busy. The man serving prioritised his friends, went to chat to them, and when i said we’d been waiting longer he said he “didn’t see us”. Genuinely took him over 20 minutes to serve 3 pints. We left without getting anything. Useless staff.

Absolutely love visiting here when visiting Sheffield. The staff are always friendly, the food is great and the beer selection is spot on. One of my favourite Brewdogs!

This was a superb bar for drinking, with a calm and welcoming decor! This is contributed to from the mock leaves and the lights, counter is nicely presented too. I had a quality pint of Wingman on the discount deal after 6pm, seating is comfortable at leather and very clean too!

Popped in for hot dogs and a drink this lunchtime and wasn't disappointed! Excellent friendly service, such a lovely guy behind the bar. Couldn't do enough for us! Definitely recommend 👌

Had a great gift experience here - beer school and cheese selection. Tom was a brilliant host and shared his knowledge of BrewDog and their beers. I recommend the gift experience - especially for groups! The experience lasts around 2 hours but you can always stay and buy some more beers and maybe sample their pizza selection....

First time visiting Brewdog in Sheffield and really liked it. Nice choice of beers on for all types of craft lovers. Main reason for visiting was because they Other Half in cans. Prices were pretty good to drink in so we had a couple and loved them. The bar was quiet on a Saturday afternoon and the staff were great at looking after us.

We will always aim to visit a BrewDog pub in each city we visit if they have one. We attended Sheffield yesterday for the beer school. Alex was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had 5 3rds of the Core range with a generous helping of cheese.

Alex and the team made sure our beer school experience was fantastic yesterday. We were made to feel comfortable and treated as if the bar was ours for the afternoon. The beers which were on tap surpassed the expectations of uninitiated members of our group.

Bar staff were rude and arrogant beyond belief. The wait time for the food we ordered was extraordinary. Do not visit this place as it truly awful in all respects.

Booked a tasting which was a fun and informative experience, and we were well looked after from the moment we walked in. A lively and cool atmosphere, but not overly busy, the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Core and guest drinks were all top notch and food was delicious, arrived quickly and well presented. Look forward to our next visit in the near future

Really enjoyed our BrewDog tasting session with Matt. He was a great host, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had a great time tasting 5 different BrewDog beers and Matt explained why they were different and how they were made and we loved the names Elvis Juice, Hazy Jane and Black Heart, these were were our favourites. It was interesting to find out about how BrewDog started and the plans for a BrewDog whisky in the future too! The cheese board went well with the drinks, the blue cheese was really tasty. All in all, a good night, at a good price, two hours of trying different beers. We left with a smile on our face and will definitely be returning. Thanks again to Matt

Unfortunately my Hazy Jane tasted a bit soapy, but was still decent value with a 25% student discount over my 10% EFP discount. Unfortunately Brewdog has stagnated in terms of choice in the last few years. Almost no guest beers on tap, but go across the road to Vocation and there is a wall of choice available with a more modern decor compared to Brewdog’s which is stuck in 2015. Service was fine however the establishment was very quiet, even for a Tuesday night. Brewdog seem to think they can function on the aesthetics of nearly a decade ago.

This place was our local haunt while living in Sheffield and the staff here are great and made us feel really welcome as regulars. They play some great tunes too. The pizza here is so good, and of course the beer too.

Terrible experience, was told we’d have to wait 40 minutes for our food even though we pre booked. Then we waited an hour and 20 minutes and received 2 pizzas, 10 minutes later we got 2 more, then the rest after another 5 minutes, terrible service, wish we had not bothered.

5 stars for the staff but 1 for Brewdog itself. Two members of staff on for what was a reasonably busy night in lead up to Christmas and one of the staff had to prepare food causing a wait. No disrespect to the staff they coped very well. Come on Brewdog, one more member of staff would have helped. Lovely pizza and beer as always!

It was great to call here one wet Wednesday afternoon to enjoy a couple of pints of gluten free beer. Spoke with bar manager Matt who took time to discuss the weird world of gluten free provisions with a friendly, knowledgeable and understanding attitude. My wife tried the Cold Beer, which is also gluten free, but I stuck with the GF Punk IPA which I'm so glad they provide on draught. I really like the style of this bar with its pared-back industrial design which still feels welcoming. Few places offer GF on draught, but BrewDog show it can be done easily whereby it allows better choice and a more natural experience for people who are coeliac. The feeling of inclusion will never go unnoticed (or promoted) when we are catered for. GF food options were not looked at on this occasion, but I hope to update my review if I visit for food on a future visit. Anyone in need of a relaxing gluten free pint should head to this Devonshire Street venue. Thanks Matt, we'll be back very soon for another pint or three!

Paradise for beer lovers! We spend the afternoon in this place and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and professional. The range of brinks is out of this world. Food is very good perfect range for munchies after drinking. One let down for me was the terrible state of the toilets the hand washing was non existent. In this age of increased hygiene I was shocked! No parking and easy walking distance from the town centre. Great atmosphere with large table for big groups and booths for couples or families. Sort the toilets out and this would be an amazing place!

Tried to go TWICE for food. Both times there’s been some excuse about the kitchen not working. Or second time ‘we’ve run out of dough for the pizzas’. So they take all the food off?!! Clearly seems an excuse to close the kitchen early as staff can’t be arsed. Staff disinterested and unapologetic. We made a special journey for this. Won’t be back. Edit in response to reply: How exactly does your cheeseboard and charcuterie board use pizza dough? Your hot dogs are also made out of pizza dough? If you are constantly running out of pizza dough perhaps you should get some more? Seems like basic business to me. Or ensure you have available meals that are always available which don’t use pizza dough if it’s such a problem. This has been passed to your customer service department.

Food range is limited, hence the 3 stars, but good value and tastes great. The beer is always good, poured by knowledgeable staff who are happy to make suggestions/advise what could be a good beer for your tastes.

Really nice bar, great atmosphere! So many different options to choose from-The strawberry cider is super nice and super sweet! The staff are all lovely even offered for me to try the ciders before I bought one :) Will definately be back.

I’ve been to a few Brewdog bars and they have the same feel about them - Sheffield was no different and as always the choice of lagers and beers is fantastic. I didn’t dare try the 10.8% Sheffield special…! Try the LOST lager it’s a beautiful pint! They do pizza and a pint deal so would go back to try that.

First time to Brewdog Sheffield yesterday. Really nice bar with a few seats outside, which were welcome in the sunshine. Really friendly staff (I’m sorry, I forgot your names as I might have had one or twelve too many on yesterday’s escapade round Sheffield 😂), knowledgeable and happy to stand and have a chat about the beers. Even got myself a little Sheffield pin. It was also nice to have apparently stacked the most discounts! 😂😂

Staff really nice, really good selection of beers but I must say the two for £12 cocktail deal is brilliant too. Lots of table games to select from as well, but I’d suggest staff look at replacing as they’re a bit knackered and instructions missing from a few!

Punk IPA was born in 2007 and kick-started the Brew Dog company. Since then, through evolution and investment from ordinary beer drinking punters, this microbrewery went macro, and has a portfolio history of hundreds of different beers. Division Street in Sheffield is a mix of old, modern, history and culture. From Rare to racy, it is semi-closed to traffic, it's vibrant, busy and verging on the Devonshire Quarter. Brew Dog is not the busiest bar on this street, but it's relaxed, and has great beers. Our reviewer enjoyed Ale To The King, something to do with a recent Coronation and as a pale ale with a strong hoppy base, it did not disappoint. We were very impressed with the way the beer was served... Each glass was chilled with a water pump and after pouring, the outside of the glass was rinsed with water before being served. The atmosphere was not electric, and that was perfect... We don't need to be blown away to chill and enjoy a great beer a cool place.

Popped in at opening time as I was in a rush travelling between cities, lovely staff, great selection of guest beers, and the bar itself is very spacious!

Went for the bottomless pizza brunch, enjoyed the pizzas we had (spicy meaty and truffle shuffle) all washed down with a fair few black hearts and planet pales. Would definitely do it again, but would like to possibly see a cider on the list of beers you can have especially coming into warmer sunnier weather. Can't fault the staff, they were brilliant during our stay.

Will provided a very entertaining talk for the Beer School experience with some great insights into the beer production process and the styles of the different core beers of the Brewdog range. Only annoyance was waiting 20 minutes to start due to people turning up late when 2 pairs were on site early. Cheese selection worked well too. We stayed for a couple of other beers from the great selection of both Brewdog and guests and a very tasty pizza before needing to drive home

Didn’t come here to drink but I would! I desperately needed the toilet and saw a sign on the door saying feel free to use our toilets which I did! Went in and I forgot a spare pad and they had them there for free.Honestly Thankyou so much!! Great experience

Yes, it's expensive. However, the selection of beers is worth it, you don't even need to consider drinking Brewdog's tipples if that's not your thing because of the massive selection of guest beers. Decent atmosphere the majority of the time, staff are always friendly and helpful.

Quality really gone downhill in last 2 months or so - new staff members? Used to have a great laugh with the manager back around Christmas but a few new faces souring things. Disappointing.

Just what you'd expect from a quality chain. Good beer (had the Lost Lime with Lychee, it was a taste sensation!!) and 4 gluten free ales. Had the 2-4-1 pizzas (Wednesdays) and they were delicious. Recommend if you're looking for somewhere nice and laid back.

Great place with amazing beer and a decent choice of very tasty pizzas/snacks, including many vegan and vegetarian options. Very friendly and professional staff too. Awesome place to visit for a drink and some pizza.
