Visited for a family lunch,showed to our table,which was clean and comfortable,We all had the carvery which was lovely,plentiful and piping hot,The carvery chef was a lovely jolly man,Although it was very busy all the staff were very efficient and worked very hard. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We are regulars here however on this particular occasion me and my partner went up to the carvery selection (we both have disabilities) the server made a reference to my partners age? Joking or not it was totally inappropriate. We've had brilliant experience before however on this occasion it was very unprofessional from the server needs more education in learning disabilities and disabilities general

Fantastic service! The Staff are very attentive and looked after us well. Food was great and plentiful, lots of variety and choice on the carvery. A really enjoyable meal, will definitely visit again!

We visited as a group of 4 adults, 3 children which included a two week old. We were able to book in advance. Despite being Easter and mostly full tables it didn’t feel busy - staff checked in several times. We also took advantage of the kids eat free during Easter offer. Worth noting they also offer NHS/blue light discount providing no other offer is used. Most the group had carvery’s - two of the adults had large at an extra £2 worth the money - we the large plate is humongous. Generous serving of meat and you are allowed a mixture of all 3. The other meal choices included a children’s meal nuggets chips and beans and then an adults halloumi and sweet chilli chicken. All plates were empty - always a good sign. Despite the amazing looking cakes there was no stomach room following a large carvery 😮. We would be revisiting if we were locals!

We dine at Larchwood on a regular basis. The food is always excellent especially the carvery. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Today the carvery chef ( didn’t catch his name ) was fabulous & so friendly. Came out to serve us with the biggest smile. A great asset to Larchwood

Great fresh carvery meal. Kids eat free in Easter. Fab cakes. Smiles all round. It is a little too warm inside but other than that 10/10.

Unbelievable, the service is great the food is tremendous, and the place itself is comfortable and welcoming. We ate the carvery and from the fresh vegetables to the perfectly cooked meat this place is a total winner. Our first time here, and I will say it will not be our last. Met a friend who was visiting from Australia and I haven't seen for 17 years for food here. Never been before but id heard good things. Booked a table and arrived on time to a pleasant greeting and we were shown our table and explained how it worked and we were left to it. As I hadn't seen my friend for 17 years we started just catching up so it was nice to be left alone. We ordered a carvery and I must say it didn't disappoint. Everything from the meat to the veg was lovely. I like that you can have onion gravy. We also had the carrot cake that we managed to share between 3 of us. Buffet breakfast has a really good variety of food for a full English breakfast, food is fresh and replenished regularly. Family friendly with a kids play area. Poor food. Carvery passable but anything off main menu is expensive for the quality. I had a dry roll with cheese and pickle didn't want chips so had a side salad which consisted of dead lettuce and red onion. Just over £5.00 for a dry roll
