Worst visit I’ve ever had! The place was awful unfortunately as it’s such a beautiful building. Rude staff and disgusting cocktails. Not sure if the staff know how to make them properly. Also saw mice traps through the door of the kitchen from where I was sitting

Good food good drink good company. Lovely atmosphere as you walk in. A great lady on the guitar playing in the background

So myself and my partner stumbled on this quant little place the staff were so friendly and accommodating really made us feel like regulars and will definitely be going back

Tonight I came to watch my friend who was presenting music. And the atmosphere was incredible the guys were great and the bar staff was fantastic. Not to mention the cheesy chips alone were fantastic. I will be visiting the bar again very soon!! 100% recommend this venue.

My husband an I decided to brave storm Dennis and go out for a meal. Very wind swept and wet we came across this little place and from the outside in the rain it looked so warm and inviting, we walked in to a busy little restaurant, with lights made of old bottles and fairy lights everywhere we sat by the window and watched the wind and rain batter Brighton, we sat for approx 20 mins before any one acknowledged we were there, we ordered our drinks I asked for a pornstar martini and my husband asked for a Diet Coke, 5 mins later I looked over to the bar and they poured my husbands drink from a plastic bottle and I could see they had no idea how to make a cocktail, the waitress came over and said they didn’t know or have anything to make my cocktail I requested, I settled for a glass of Prosecco which came in a large wine glass rather than a champagne flute, my husbands coke was flat, I saw the barmaid sniff the bottle of Prosecco before she poured my drink, we were then given our cutlery and a piece of kitchen roll I stared to doubt our choice but I thought It surely can’t be that bad, well we ordered calamari and cheesy garlic bread to start then Bolognese pepperoni pizza and sides of Chips and veg, the calamari arrived with no sauce no lemon just a side of lettuce, the veg arrived which was just a plate of peppers and courgette smothered in oil, I still had no starter, my husbands main turned up and my chips but I still hadn’t had my starter, when it finally arrived it was covered in mixed herbs but I ate it as I was hungry, my husbands bolognese was disgusting very bland no flavour no seasoning the spaghetti was cheap and the plate was full of water, my pizza turned up and the dough was undercooked and just had no flavour, my husbands main came out so piping hot it was like it had been out in the microwave, when asked if we were ok my husband said no and just asked for the bill, the owner said she had just taken it over and it was all new, if your going to use tomato sauce and mayo from Lidl then at least put it in ramekins so your customers don’t realise. The staff obviously need some training and the “chef” maybe should of spent more time in the kitchen than talking and drinking with his friends that were in the bar. I can understand it’s a new business but if you use the cheapest of the cheap ingredients then your going to have no customers.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and catered for everybody’s need. Perfect place to host a quiz! Reasonable prices. Would come back again!

It’s predecessor, the Italian wine bar, was one of our favourite venues in Brighton so we were pleased to see it reincarnated and eager to rediscover. The food and wine did not disappoint, and the live music with Sam Anderson made our evening and encouraged us to stay a few hours more than planned. We were only briefly in town, and felt we had a real "Brighton" experience.

Really lovely atmosphere with fair lights, candles flowers etc. and a live musician! Would definitely recommend for a date or just with friends. Really lovely staff, yummy cocktails and the food was amazing, massive portions and very authentic

Me and my girlfriend visited this restaurant tonight and were very impressed by the service and quality of food, so fully recommend this restaurant to other couples and families.

We decided to try this restaurant for the first time this evening. My first two choices of drinks were unavailable because they were waiting for a delivery. My partner had better luck. We ordered our food choices., we only waited 15 minutes for our meals...

Second time iv are here i am only I'm brighton due to work but have to eat out every night. So far I have only ate here twice and both times I have left very pleased with the food served to me the pizza is...

Great little bar in Brighton,I visited on a Saturday night with freinds. They had live music and was still serving food at midnight. nice pizzas and a lovely pint of peroni.

Food was not good and waited ages for it, despite at the time being the only customers. Only available was pizza pasta or ‘bar favourites’. I ordered veg curry from the latter and it didn’t taste like curry, just some kind of goo. Shame really.

Well worth a visit nice live music but the real gem had been the food authentic Italian food the carbonara was to die for and the nibbles were awesome..West street may not have the best reputation but please dont over look this venue the motivation...

I had some food and drinks here with friends in December and was surprised that I hadn't discovered this place sooner. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and also very funny, made me laugh. Always a win for me if I'm made to feel so...

Looks ok on the outside & inside but so disappointing. Service slow & staff appear miserable & disinterested, serves extremely bland food.
