My friend ordered a toastie and they didn't realise they didn't have the cheese. So she changed her order, got charged extra and then they brought the wrong food. When the right order came (eggs royale) the egg was so raw. It was inedible.

Not a great experience. First, I was told that they didn’t have what I’d ordered. Then, I reordered and they gave me the wrong food. When the right order did arrive, the poached egg was raw and by that I mean the actual egg white was still clear.

Great cafe, had lunch and coffee with a friend. . Friendly service, we were not rushed at all, very clean, good value for money and best tuna and melted cheese paninii I've ever had! Lovely varied menu too.

Such a cozy cafe!! Fantastic service and great food. Really such a warm atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Very clean, and beautiful light coming through the large windows. Great spot for a coffee or tea. We stopped for an afternoon lunch and the bacon and egg sandwich was great!

We walked in after being treated in a negative manner by the cafe across the road to be greeted by a beaming smile and a happy welcome! It was soooo refreshing, as was the freshly squeezed juice, the freshly made huge cups of coffee and the size of his breakfasts were breathtaking! All freshly prepared and.......we could sit where we liked! This has to be my go to for breakfast, well and lumch and dinner, especially as its so close to the station! Thanks and see you soon.

Stopped in here on a Sunday morning for a breakfast. I had the English breakfast which was fantastic. My wife had avocado on toast with poached eggs and she also found her food to be delicious. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. This is certainly a place not to be missed. A lovely time was had by all thank you Cafe Aldo, we'll certainly pop in again next time we are in Brighton. X

Lovely cafe with literally the best panini and chai latte I've ever had!! It was quiet so we got to sit anywhere we liked, had our food and drink brought to our table! Amazing service and so brilliant will definitely be returning

I tried to order a malteaser milkshake and informed them I had a nut allergy. The woman serving asked me if the milkshake had nuts in? I said I don’t know (isn’t that her job to know?) and she said it would be best for me to try a smoothie instead. 🤨 Seems like the staff have little to no training on allergens, surely a server should be aware of what contains what ingredient. It was very disappointing.

Staff are very nice and the food here is simple but deliciously prepared. Definitely worth a try after a long journey on the train! 100% recommend!

Too pricy for the quality, our order was late for half an hour and then they realised they forgot about it.. bacon and burgers were both burned :) Coffee and matcha was not good..

Ordered a chicken and Avocado baguette, simply awful value for money (8£). Much better off going over the road to one of the other Cafes or Real Patisserie up the road.

Smoothies are good but the matcha is terrible, there’s barely any matcha flavour and it just tastes like a cup of extra hot milk, on top of that there’s no froth, just bubbles, for £5 I would expect something better

Lovely little cafe. Great food and I get my morning coffee every morning as I work locally. Team are friendly and warming! Seating outside to catch the morning sun before starting work.

I recently visited Cafe Aldo and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. The quality and flavor of the food were just for my taste, each dish bursting with flavours and freshness. The coffee was simply outstanding, rich and perfectly brewed. Highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a quick-stop dining or coffee experience. Next, I will try the deliciously looking cakes as well!

I ordered an avocado and salmon wrap which I expected to be cold but it took over 10 mins to make and was warm??? who heats up avocado and smoked salmon in a wrap absolutely disgusting. Avocado is supposed to be cold not heated up ??

Cafe Aldo is a quaint coffee house / deli in the heart of Brighton, providing excellent food, coffee, service and atmosphere. Remote workers welcomed. Friendly and proactive staff.

The staff here are rude and a joke if you don’t want to purchase anything. After coming in to the cafe, I used their toilet. Then, coming out the toilet I was deciding whether I wanted to purchase anything. After deciding that I don’t really fancy anything from there (I’m very indecisive), I was asked if I wanted anything. I replied no thank you and that I’m very indecisive. In response to this a lady behind the counter gave me the middle finger. This is absolutely unprofessional, and an absolute joke. After just laughing it off, I assume it was the owner who came outside after I left said that toilets are for customers only. There is a very small sign in the window printed on A4 paper saying toilets are for customers only. Understandably I had missed this whilst coming in to the cafe. He asks me to buy something. Why would I want to buy anything from a place where I get sworn at if I don’t want to buy anything? I actually would have bought a water if I wasn’t treated so rudely. I wrote a review on google and received a mediocre response in reply complaining about people using their toilets. There is no reason to treat anyone this way, let alone a potential customer. I will link a screenshot of the poorly thought-out and worded response to my review below.

Wasn’t sure if I wanted anything on their menu. After visiting the toilets whilst trying to decide if I wanted a drink or some cake, I decided that I didn’t want anything. Whilst leaving I was asked if I wanted anything - I replied no thank you. Nice, clean and well located cafe to have breakfast. Me and my friend were greeted and approached by a nice dark hair lady who allowed us to choose any table right away and provided us with a good service. Plenty of seats and tables by the window and outside seats too. Theres vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The portions were fair and the price too, cheaper than i thought. The food was really good and filling, my bacon although was little overcooked for me but not a major issue. I recommend this place for an early breakfast :)

We went for breakfast here today it was freshly cooked tasted lovely , friendly chilled atmosphere. We left something in the cafe and the staff ran down the road to return it to us . Great place will come back soon

We came here on Easter Sunday morning for breakfast, it wasn't busy so we were quickly seated and given menus. A waitress gave us a few minutes to look before coming to take our orders. We both ordered the Aldo's English breakfast and a latte. The drinks and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time considering how many customers were inside and the fact that the food is clearly freshly cooked to order. The only two reasons I don't give full stars (and this might sound petty!) is firstly, the amount of chips given with the large breakfast.... Check my photos. What a ridiculous amount of chips. Honestly, there is plenty of food on the plate but the portion of chips is quite frankly stingy. My second reason is the sausage, it's not a good quality sausage. Everything else is great quality, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. One other thing is the beans, they're.... Sour? I don't know how to explain them. My partner loved them but I'm unsure about them.

Delicious food & excellent service, all for a very affordable price. They offer a wide range of brunch food and lunches. And delicious coffee. I strongly recommend !

Came here the other day with the intention of just getting hot chocolate but loved this place so much we ended up staying for tea and getting chips and sharing a brownie as well ! (picture shows half the brownie on each plate) Staff were lovely, everything was perfect and definitely recommend !

Really good cafe with an excellent range of food available at all times. Staff are really friendly and eager to help. The omelettes are to to die for - especially the one with sausages added. This is one of the best cafes I've been to in Brighton and we only look elsewhere if this is full. I would highly recommend that you try it.

Excellent authentic little Italian restaurant

Had breakfast here on Friday. I had the eggs royal and my husband had eggs benidict. Fabulous in every sense of the word, even the spinach garnish was cooked to perfection. Clean, well spaced tables and fast service. I'm already planning my next visit for when we are next in Brighton!

Breakfast was very very nice, coffee was also very nice. We visited on Sunday and Monday morning. I do have 1 gripe. 1st day I was overcharged by only £1 but the 2nd day as I realised through my banking app that I had been overcharged by £5. Please address this as your place and food is fantastic. Maybe give a homeless person a sandwich with the overcharged amount.

I ordered a detox smoothie, which includes banana, oat and more ingredients like berries. I saw as they prepared it, using only box apple juice, frozen berries and ice. I was asked to repeat my order too, so i’m not sure what went wrong.

The staff were all nice & helpful, but I didn't draw there attention to my personal egg problem. We may call in again, but unsure at this time.

We had a simple drink. Asked for the Tonic water. Got only a small 175ml bottle. I complained about is. But apparently it is normal….

A late lunch in this lovely cafe. It was empty when we came in and we were treated very well. I had the chicken and avocado sandwich with a fresh smoothie. Highly recommended.

We dropped in to Cafe Aldo on a busy bank holiday weekend. The vegetarian breakfast that we had was excellent and the portion size generous. The service was very friendly even though they were clearly busy. We will definitely be returning.

We visited the cafe for breakfast during our mini break and it was amazing. We are often picky with what we like in our breakfasts but we were able to swap what we wanted. The food was great, good value, and great service. Would recommend going here for a good full english breakfast!

We called in for lunch with a friend who had just arrived by train. The sandwiches and coffees were all excellent. The staff overheard my friend wishing me a happy birthday and turned up with a scrumptious piece of lemon cake with a candle! Definitely somewhere I will go again soon.

The staff were very friendly to our group, especially my infant nephew for whom they made toast. I had eggs Benedict and it tasted brilliant.

I visit Caffe Aldo regularly with friends and I have never been disappointed with the food. Variety of dishes, salmon linguine is one of my favourites. Have to say the new gourmet burgers on an adjacent table last night looked very tasty. The chocolate cheesecake was delicious. To top it all off, you can bring your own alcohol for a £2.50 corkage fee per person.

We were in Brighton for a couple of days as it was my son's birthday, we stumbled across Cafe Aldo as we had 2 children with us and needed to get some breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and a good portion size. The service was excellent and the even put our buggy away for us, so we had more room. Upon asking for the bill the owner who was lovely worked out it was my son's birthday, without asking they bought a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with 2 scoops of ice cream. The whole cafe then sung happy birthday for him!! Thank you for making his day and for making him feel so special. Will definitely be visiting next time and with plenty of Cafe's to choose from I would definitely recommend this one for a lovely family run place!!

We stumbled on aldos just by chance and what a little gem we had a breakfast the first time and it was lovely and that goes for the staff and the very next time we went to Brighton we headed aldos way for another breakfast but when we got there we see another couple eating something that wasn't off the breakfast menu and asked the waitress if we could have something else as it looked propa nice and she said no problem and gave us a evening menu I had pizza and my wife had lasagne and yet again lovely when we next head to Brighton you can rest assured we will be heading aldos way

After visiting a few other cafes in the north Laines and waiting for service (we left 3) we came across Caffe Aldo. Immediately a member of staff greeted us and sat us down. There were plenty of staff, service was swift and efficient and the hot chocolate was hot (instead of wishy washy and cool). We had a fab cooked breakfast, enjoying the non fancy, try hard menus that are so abundant these days. Staff were absolutely lovely. Highly Recommended, we will definitely be returning.

Caffe Aldo is our favourite restaurant in Brighton, the food is amazing and the staff are wonderful. We have celebrated many birthdays at Caffe Aldo and we are always made to feel very special. We have worked our way through a lot of the menu and every dish we have tried has been delicious! Warm and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

All the cafes along the way were full, then saw this cozy one and decided to go in. Great choice! The breakfast was one of the best I had in a while, surprsingly quick, yet they don't rush you. The owners are friendly and bubbly and the servers constantly checking up on you 🤗 All desserts come with a scoop of ice cream - it's a generous portion too. Can't wait to be back in Brighton!

What a delight. This is a family run restaurant, it's got a lovely cosy atmosphere and delicious freshly prepared food. The BYO wine makes it really affordable. Staff are super friendly and accommodating.
