Best sandwich shop by a mile lovely thick bread and full up with whatever your filling and run by 2 really nice friendly people love the place

I have actually been visiting this place many times over the years and quite honestly, I keep coming back because 1) the bread is so fresh and tastes great 2) lots of variety re: the sandwich fillers 3) the couple that run this place are lovely and you get service with a smile and a bit of friendly chit chat! My faves are the BLT in a fresh baguette or bap or a prawn cocktail in a baguette. Great value too!

What a great find..this little sandwich shop makes fresh made sarnies to order and you can choose whether to have baps, baguettes, French sticks or simply bread! I had a chicken and stuffing n salad french stick which was huge and I really enjoyed it. The lady serving was very helpful and chatty and recognised my accent as we are both from same seaside town in the north east..what a small world!! Anyway, this little shop is a gem of a place in Romford and is worth visiting if you want a cheap and substantial sarnie!

The extremely high quality ingredients Carol and Steve use along with their friendly customer service and excellent personalities make this easily the best sandwich shop in Romford.

I've been visiting Steve and Carol's sandwich shop for over 20 years. The pair of them are amazing and are a great side order to any tradional sandwich or roll you choose. They cater for your every need with a smile. Love these guys.
