Lovely carvery good selection of veggies would like to see peas on the selection too roast potatoes cut in halves not whole puddings are a must Given 4* because of the potatoes

Our waiter Frasier was really lovely and helpful. All the staff were very helpful

Food was very poor,spent £79 on food my steak, had to go back as blood was dripping out of it ,and was meant to be well done, then they never brought it back out,so it was very poor service, had to get a refund, didn't have anything to eat ,as everyone else had finished there meals so it Spoiled the evening as its was family and friends time on holiday,we used it as wont a steak and carvery, but wont go again.

The food flavours were good however the food itself was very cold! Didn't complain even though we probably should have said something. We had the kids eat free deal which was a good deal. So a little disappointed but hasn't put us off. Will visit again but speak up next time if the same, as never had that happen in the past. Bit surprised peas were not part of the veg option on the carvery, my daughter only eats peas so had no veg at all! It was very busy but seemed understaffed so tables took quite some time to be cleared in all areas. My review is only based on this particular visit as previous visits have been fine.

Decent roast. A small wait to get the meat etc. Plenty of veg and spuds but not much green. No brocoli or peas. Great gravy though!

Family meal at the Langbrook this week with our part choosing carvery, lasagne, scampi and pizza. Food was pretty good with the carvery being the standout. Good value for the meals and decent service.

I got the breakfast here using the Too Good to Go app, £3.33 for a full breakfast to takeaway, and it was still hot.

Tough beef in carvery. 2nd time, too. I will stick to the Turkey next time. Good offer with cake, though.

Me and my family had a lovely experience the kids area was amazing and the waiter Frazer was lovely and he should definitely have a raise

Don’t ever try to call them. I have tried 11 times to call them this morning and the phone rings for so long it just rings off. If this is the level of service they give them I certainly won’t be visiting anymore that’s for sure. You ask me to give you another try. Are you joking. I left a message and you can’t even be bothered to get back to me after I left you a message with my details to call me back. Tell me why I should give you another try. Is it so you can just get more money from me?

Great pub atmosphere, with pleasant friendly staff and great prices on food and drink.

Average food, keen and helpful staff, tired children's indoor play area.

I ordered the mix grill on the app as the line for food was pretty long. The food arrived promptly , I ordered the steak medium and on arrival it was well done , Dry chicken and cold gammon , A very average meal . I wish I had ordered the carvery as it looed amazing. Staff were friendly and the pub was clean and well presented. I suggest using the app to order as the line was long and took along time to be served for drinks.

Had a lovely meal. Cheesecake was huge. Nice to see our guests enjoy their meal

Amazing carvery whether you dine in or take away.

Lovely pub with great food. Carvery was impressive and good value for money. Food was amazing! Large selection of drinks available. Staff were super helpful and found us a seat despite not booking on a Sunday. Would advise to book this place as there were no tables past 1pm Over all would highly recommend!

Walked it I thought wow how nice does it look in here,I was totally fine before I walked in,as soon as I walked out the door I felt my stomach churning,got indoors ran to the toilet and threw up immediately plus has a runny tummy.it was to late to get a refund once I was home

It's a beautiful place to visit it has a lovely atmosphere food is fantastic! and staff are amazing and the plants were very reasonable priced. Certainly worth a visit.

Amazing food, great price. Customer service I couldn't knock at all all smiles and friendly. The cake's are fantastic a real eye opener and the kids love it. Ambiance couldn't be better, fantastic meal with the family.

Far to noisy for what was supposed to be an ADULT night as we were almost right beside a table with children who just wouldn't be quiet no matter how many times the parent(s) told them. We tried to book for 6.30pm but was told there wasn't a table until 7.30pm however, when we arrived at 7pm our table was available and no-one had been sitting there when we sat down. They didn't have many of the selections available on the menu. The food wasn't exceptional and there was a 'luxury' item missing of my wife's meal that we had to ask for. The breaded mushrooms were over cooked and rock hard. Beer batter was undercooked and very thick but not chrispy. Half a dozen chips is not a portion! Most of all, whatever happened to the terms 'Sir and Madam' or have we all turned into stuffed mannequins that are usually burned on a bonfire on 25th November? Why do waiters and waitresses insist on calling customers 'Guys'? It just goes to show a lack of respect for the people who are ultimately paying their wages. Poor food and service.

The toast was cold and tasted off and sausages were not cook fully. The food was just warm and the bacon! Omg it was so salty I ended up leaving it. I wouldn’t visit this place again

Went to Langbrook farm today with my daughter to pick up 4 take away roast dinners for grandparents daughter and myself .. was served by a very helpful young man serving the carvery he provided us with a bag for the Yorkshire puddings and pots for the gravey .. the food was perfect the most tender meat perfect roast potatoes creamy mash parsnips cauliflower cheese carrots red cabbage green beans etc the tastiest roast iv had in a long time the gravey was so good so impressed all veg was fresh and cooked just right and all for a very reasonable price. All staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning again in the future this will be a regular for myself and family now .

It's great to have a pub with a children's play area! great service too. Frasier went above and beyond with his service at our last visit.

We booked a table for breakfast during the weekend, buffet breakfast was until 11am, my wife asked for avocado witch poached egg on top. All was priced well. There is pliantly of room within this venue.

Good selection when we went for breakfast….. It was a calmer time in the play area for the children aged 2 - 6 this time ( there were no over aged “children” throwing the foam mats about)…

The food is very nice with decent size portions. Can be very busy so I advice booking a table in advance. Use the app for quicker service and discounts. The "Take a cake" service is worth a visit too!

Food - Menu items are dry, over cooked, REUSED!!! Yes, i said reused!! However, the carvery is incredible Staff - ordering food at the bar, as per their job. the staff member eye rolled, sighed and told me it was inconveniencing her as she HAD to serve the bar. ITS YOUR JOB!!!! We made a complaint about the food and the staff. The manager did nothing!! He couldn't look at who was talking and just stood there, like a deer in headlights. What a joke!

Great Sunday roast and fair price

Wanted mixed fish supper. Could not have it they only have 2 pieces of fish and they had to keep it for the fish and chips. So we had fish and chips. Asked if we could have a battered sausage with our fish was refused because it wasn't included with our order. My granddaughter had the carvery pork was fatty and Yorkshire puddings were cold. The staff looked like they didn't want to be there. They either must have been very over the weekend or bad management. We won't be going back there.

Oh my goodness! Carvery better than Tobys. Good selection of meats and if you don’t want carvery there is lots more meals to choose from. The cake selection is outstanding and great price. The staff were amazing and friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Long wait between starer and main meal , hair in main , table and menu very sticky overall not impressed .

Ordered our food online and lots showed out of stock. We were booked for 12pm on a Saturday.. ended up picking the carvery which was lovely.. some of the items showed out of stock that ended up being in stock so had to go up n re order which meant my food was cold by the time I'd faffed about. Waiter was friendly, helpful and on hand.

That carvery was delicious (although yorkshires a bit soft) tho not sure why I (large) got the same meat and yorkshires as my friend who only got a (standard).

Now whilst a cheap and cheerful pub and decor a bit dull we really enjoyed our lunch here. Excellent value fish and chips supper, the fish was tasty, soft and I just loved having a little bit of everything. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her mini fish dinner. The cakes looked amazing however we didn't try them on this occasion. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I felt comfortable dining with the children.

The wife and I do love the food, but this Thursday 8/8/24 we booked and went there for our anniversary. We ordered a drink and starters which was chicken strips with spring onion and Korean sauce they had ran out of the sauce so we ended up with a bottle of BBQ instead. Then we ordered our main meal and I was having the mixed gril. This was the only reason why we chose the place. I had it in my wallet and just as I was about to send and pay it came up out of stock. We asked a member of staff and they had ran out of steaks. So we had to abandon our plans and the wife had to abandon her pint as she only had a couple of sips. And find somewhere else that did a mixed gril. We ended up at the heron and all was good for the evening. No thanks to langbrook farm.

Lovely quick food, with good service. The cakes are a great size and delicious! It is a chain pub so expect chain quality, but it is still good quantity! Small play area for young kids and pre teens.

Overall normally good but dissappointed today, children eat free bought a breakfast and had my son but had to pay full price. At the end tried to buy my son and I a cake, no cheese cake but still advertising it even though its sold out. I then asked the lady about the free kids breakfast and she said yeah if you have the code..... I replied I do, she then made out like it was a big deal to refund me the full price then recharge it. Food was good, atmosphere good service from the lady poor.

Good to average local place to fill your boots. Average food quality but very good prices. Carvery beef and gammon are perfect!!! Sides quality look below average. Ice cream was really good, recommend. Family friendly place with the family area and a tiny soft play area for kids. Outdoor places. Cleanliness outside could be also a little bit better. Good parking spaces.

We easily booked online and popped in to escape the hot weather. We were directed to the coolest seats which was much appreciated. I had the carvery, delicious as usual. Also want to give a shout out to our Awesome waiter Frasier. Definitely worth a visit if your on a budget and to keep the kids cool, fed and entertained.

Friends had the roast I had fish and chips with mushy peas. Enjoyed it. Quick friendly service. Nice pint.

No pigs in blankets or extra yorkshire which i have paid extra for ... vegetables rock hard and way oversized am actually really disappointed in this delivery and never have been with you before wpuld actually like a refund as im not happy at all

Smelly place, filthy, a hot air when you get inside that I can’t understand that is the smell of old or dirty . Very slow service. Cakes taste old and dried. Ice cream not good. Staff nahh too young to bother. It seems they lost the will to work.
