Pie Dinner was good, but my roast was burnt shrivelled up and barely warm I know you can do better, didn't enjoy the roast dinner at all.

The service and staff are absolutely wonderful. Carvery was so tasty and so much choice. Kids play area is perfectly positioned for our meal and to have the kids playing. Great atmosphere and specific thanks to Nicola for the muddy puddle! Quite the experience! Only marked down the food as their dryers weren’t working, otherwise would have been five stars. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Brilliant 🤩. Carvery food was cooked perfect, very tasty, lots of choice. The pudding was also delicious 😋. The food was so good I got a takeaway carvery and a cake away for later. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. 😀 The dining area was very nice and clean. 👌

Food Review: A Disappointing Start to the Day I stopped off at the Farmhouse Inn Hayling or what I hoped would be a good breakfast to kickstart a busy Sunday at work, but unfortunately, my visit fell short of expectations. Arriving early, the place wasn’t busy—I was the second customer served. However, the experience started on the wrong foot with a poor attitude from the male staff member who served me, someone I believe to be the manager. His demeanor was less than welcoming and certainly not what you’d expect in hospitality. While I didn’t address it at the time, it left a sour taste before I even reached the buffet. The Farmhouse Inn has always been a lovely venue, but it’s a reminder that staff make or break an experience. A great location is only as good as the people running it, and this encounter spoiled the atmosphere. Moving on to the food, I opted for the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, it didn’t redeem the visit. Despite being fresh from the kitchen, the food wasn’t particularly hot. The bacon, folded over to save space in the oven, was undercooked and of mediocre quality—I left it on my plate. The sausages, pale and unappealing, were also disappointing, both in appearance and taste. While the breakfast is reasonably priced at £7.49, I would have gladly paid more for better quality food and service. In hindsight, I wish I’d waited and visited The Barley Mow instead. In summary, this was a letdown in both service and food quality. It’s a shame, as the Farmhouse Inn has potential, but today’s experience left me disappointed and unlikely to return anytime soon.

I booked for a group of 10 including three children - one in high chair. When we actually went, two of our party were unable to make it, so I said we could move to a smaller table. Fraser was very helpful and moving us to a smaller table and finding a high chair. The staff were all very couteous and friendly. We had a good time with family and enjoyed our meals. My wife is on a restricted diet following an operation and the menu was suitable for her needs, something we have found difficult in the past. We shall return, as we do come down from Worcestershire fairly often to visit family and don't know why we have'nt been before.

The carvery was lovely, lots of options of veg. Great service and the best play area for my 1 year old and 4 year old. Always are first choice when deciding where to eat out

The carvery was poor. The beef was tough, the carrots, brocoli were hard. The potatoes were leathery. It was very dissapointing.

Good food at good prices. Service is excellent - shout out to Fraser who goes about and beyond, and his Harry Potter sidekick! Softplay is a great addition as so few around nowadays, although it’s very tired and half is money operated.

Awesome staff always tak excellent care of Mr and my family. Going the extra mile to ensure I am seated in the best place for my mobility needs. Food quality is n 11 out of 10 every time we go. All staff go above and beyond the cool of duty.

Great meal with the family. Play area kept the kids entertained and meant we could enjoy ourselves. The food was lovely. I had the beef Yorkie wrap and it was the nicest meal out I've had for ages. Great value too. Four of us had food and drinknfor under £40. Our server Fraser was brilliant, efficient and funny. All other staff were friendly and helpful too.

We came here tonight it was really good food came out in literally 10 minutes and my husband absolutely loved his Yorkie wrap we come here quite frequently. Frasier is extremely helpful to us and always has a chat with my husband and me too. we recommend this place.

*UPDATE 2025* Unfortunately, I wouldn't return. We opted to return due to needing an appropriate venue suitable for fussy eaters and young children on NYD but honestly, we now wish we had gone somewhere else. The place looks very tired and is in desperate need of some TLC and some new furniture. It all looks very worn / well used and just grubby. Two of the seats on the table of 8 chairs had sunk in the middle, one chair the pvc was very badly peeling, the upholstery and carpets look like they need wet and dry vaccuming with some strong detergent or just replacing. The hostess/ seater and the chief server (I assume management) were fantastic and friendly. Another older server was downright miserable (I overheard another table moaning about her lack of customer service / genreal presence and unfortunately when I approached the bar area she was ahead of me and didnt realise I was behind her and could overhear her moaning about our dinner party / issues - I quickly returned to my table to avoid any embarrassment without going to the bar / till). There was quite a wait at the till when one of our party initially ordered, It was, however, very busy being NYD and I think only one till is open for food orders as standard, even during busy times. The carvery did look and smelt great and some of our party, said it was very nice. Unfortunately, one of the meals wasn't as described and was very disappointing (Please see image - this was meant to be a chicken combo - it should have been 2 chicken breasts, chicken strips and a salad with nothing other than leaves due to food intolerance/ allergies- as you can see, this is barely 1 barely breast!) - The miserable server very rudely and abruptly outburst "That's just how it comes" before walking off. There was quite frankly more food, on a children's plate. We decided to leave the premises without the children having their included ice cream, so the member of party whom ordered the chicken combo could go somewhere else to eat an appropriate sized meal - by this point he was miserable and hungry. Quite honestly, it ruined our New Year's Day and wasn't a great end to one of the children's birthdays! *Previous / Orginal Review* Previously been several times for breakfast and carvery which we really enjoyed. There were unfortunately a couple of errors with the order on the most recent occasion (we all opted for something off of the menu as opposed to carvery - there may have been some miscommunication at the till - it was quite busy / loud and didn't seem to be that many staff working - it was however during the festive period when we visted, which we all know can be very stressful and busy for hospitality) the food when served was very nice and hot, however due to the error with the order most of the table had finished eating before a guest had even been served. The play area was clean but some of the play equipment was damaged and I couldn't help but notice some damage (a hole) to the wall behind a games machine which my toddler also found very interesting. Overall it was busy, there were a couple of issues, most staff were friendly. Would we go back - maybe, because the food was very good!

We came for Christmas Day. Was very well organised. Staff very helpful and happy. Very smartly dressed also. Loved the little touches of children having a present (a book) and a kids cracker. A Christmas card on each table. carvery was outstanding. Food was cooked to perfection, was full, nothing was empty or waiting around for anything. Very very impressed and most definitely booking again for Christmas 2025

Four of us came in for a buffet breakfast before heading out to do our Christmas food shop. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Buffet had everything available (I had bacon sausage, beans, scrambled egg, hash browns, mushrooms and toast) and all nice and hot! Fuelled up ready to hit the supermarket. Langbrook Farm has been my go-to spot since moving to Havant, and it’s easily my favorite place to eat—especially as a vegetarian. The menu has a great variety, the prices are spot on, and the quality is always top-tier. The staff are welcoming and always up for a laugh, which just makes every visit even better. We came here for Christmas Day as a family, and I’ve got to give Frazer a special mention. After six solid years at Langbrook Farm, he’s moving on to a new career, and honestly, his customer service has always been top-notch. We wish him all the best for the future—though my auntie, who traveled down from Scotland, might wish he’d stayed! She wouldn’t stop going on about how sharp he looked in his Christmas suit, but don’t worry, we stepped in before she could ask for his number. Pretty sure the pints on tap had something to do with her sudden confidence. Best wishes, from table 22 (and your unofficial biggest fan)!

Another great example of a friendly restaurant.

The Langbrook Farm is one of the nicer of the Carverys. It also sells other dishes and the quality is reasonable. As always in the big restaurant chains (except for spoons) there are no proper real ales on offer which is a shame for me! But its reasonably priced and I often drink coffee these days! We go there quite often and as my partner has a blue light card its even better value!

Food was ok. Cakes was bit dry. Some of the stuff very friendly and helpful some was just ignoring everyone. Really mix feelings after our first visit, but I think we gone visit this place again

Fantastic food and drinks the downside was just to get a drink you had to queue and there were at least ten people in front of me each time.

Listed with family, i often come here for breakfast usually have the buffet. Ordered off breakfast menu this time, 3 of my family have milk allergies but there is not alternatives. Ie milk options or butter. Cows milk produce or nothing, very odd for a large establishment not to cater for allergies, waitress wasn't interested just said sorry and walked off.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, large menu to choose from. Food was nice and fresh and reasonably priced. Cakes and ice cream look amazing. Staff vey helpful and polite. Large free car park. Our second visit from Brighton. Will visit soon again.

Went here tonight for dinner with friends , there was no turkey the Yorkshire puddings tasted of pure oil the pigs in blankets tasted of cheap meat and everything was Luke warm.

Wanted somewhere local to each at lunchtime. Passed Langbrook Farm regularly but had never visited so agreed when suggested by my wife. Seemed busy when we arrived but were allocated an nice table in the middle of the pub. Service was quick, polite and efficient. No real wait for food. The food surpassed my expectations - have often paid twice as much for half the quality. Very nice.

The carvery lunch was the best I have tasted. Just as Mother used to make. The staff were enthusiastic, friendly and courteous. Also great value for money.

Food was nice, chef seemed like he couldn't be bothered. Kept us waiting for ages then when he did eventually turn up not even an apology.

I was so surprised when I arrived as I put in the booking notes that there be a Gluten free with us and upon arrival they had a separate menu with all the gluten free option available this was a fresh of breath air not having to filter though the other big menu. Definitely will be returning. The roast Carvery was so delicious and again gluten free gravy was an option for me

I can't even leave one star ..had a reheated lasagne ..by the looks of it...and ended up with food poisoning..avoid.

We often drop in with the family and always enjoy a good value meal. Service and staff are always attentive, kind and helpful. It is particularly festive this time of year and lucky to have this on our doorstep. Thank you to you all for your excellent welcome and service.

Unfortunately my order took 2 hours to deliver.tried 5 times to call restaurant and no reply. Upon arrive the chicken is so overcooked and dry. Very disappointed as it tasted awful

We love the buffet style Breakfast and Dinner's that you can get here. Always good prices. Staff are always welcoming ☺️. Catering staff always checking the Hotplates and stocking up as required. Food always on the go so you don't need to wait long. Great dessert 🍨🎂🍪 if you can fit it in. We have been known to just have dessert.

The carvery meal was superb. Even though they didn’t have the cake I ordered, they helpfully gave me a different one, instead of leaving my order without a tasty pudding!

Order was nearly 2hrs late. I ordered a burger with a extra burger, yet only delivered with 1 burger in it. Food was barely warm. Tried calling the restaurant, and no answer. Completely unexceptable

Plan lovely birthday meal out for my daughter in law All of us had the carved just tucking into my meal and felt something hard in my mouth as I received it from my mouth a human decayed tooth yes human decayed tooth well wot a shock as you can imagine so be careful wots in your dinner disgusting.......outcome of this was dreadful customer care ...

Well what a lovely meal that was and our server was Fraser and he was amazing he went above and beyond and had a good joke with us and even got our children to eat all there dinner wow what a great guy he definitely deserves a mention.

Today we had a fantastic family meal and we were lucky enough to have the lovely Fraser he went above and beyond to make sure our children had everything they need and even to come back and ask how our meals were, what a gentleman he is an assist to your company he deserves a special mention. I’ve been here a number of times and Fraser always stands out.

Cold Breakfast no gluten free at all .

Had a lovely roast for my midweek lunch with my colleagues on our lunch break. We were greeted by Fraser who was really friendly and helpful and answered any questions that we had. The food was plentiful , hot and had lots of flavour. Highly recommend for a carvery!

Food was lovely and warm my husband had a mixed grill and the steak was cook to perfection and I had the carvery and could and fault it at all staff was friendly and also clean will definitely be coming back here again soon

Visited on a wednesday lunch time and it was busy but the service ran well and we were seated and meals ordered and delivered quickly. The atmosphere was lovely and felt very festive and fraser was vert friendly and efficient in his service with us,nothing was too much trouble and he made good conversation with us and the children. We had the yorkie wraps and they were amazingly tasty!

Went for a buffet breakfast. Not good unfortunately. Bacon and hash brown like cardboard. Button mushrooms more like bullet mushrooms. Egg yolks on fried were hard. Sausages ok. None of it particularly hot. Orange juice... no flavour at all. Overall very disappointed. My wife, however did enjoy her freshly cooked eggs benedict. That's the key I think... freshly cooked, not kept warm. Warm welcome from the staff though.
