Lakeside Restaurant in Redcar and Cleveland

I found that the restaurant has a good range of food at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful. The soup is always very tasty, they have make your own or pre made salads that are good value. The hot food caters mainly for the local area with things like parmo's, fish and chip shawarma's and the like available on different days. the restaurant seating area is well presented and very modern if not a little cold on some days

A canteen style restaurant, patrons are presented with a selection of different coloured sloppy dished or a dry roast meat. Once chosen they are then only afforded one small scoop of said slop with one of rice and charged greatly for the privilege. Should a patron choose a jacket potato for their meal, they will be greeted with an over-sized spud spread with so little filling that it would cover up less of Pavarotti than a hand towel on a windy day. Although at least the cost will leave you with some money to fill up with a chocolate bar for afters. Alas, as the only establishment in the vicinity, they have a monopoly, and take good advantage of it.
