Best food I have ever had, tastes like I'm back home in india. Been coming to this restaurant for the past 6-7 months and the food is delicious, and also the service is brilliant. Feels like I'm sitting at home when I come to eat here, they always looks after me Definitely recommend, if you haven't been here you're missing out

Wow , what an experience that was 😣 The delivery guy didn't have any change said he was going to the shop didn't come back with my £6 🤪 Food literally tasted worse than you would get out of a jar in Aldi 😔 ordered a Rogan Josh Tasted like semolina 😔😔😔 Really weird experience won't be ordering from there again nothing Indian about it !!! Chicken tikka biryani, naan and homemade samosas are Beautiful 10/10 .

Excellent service from the young member of staff Mr F. Food very good, chicken balti, tikka massala, lamb bhuna, rice's and various nan breads.

We also have a takeaway from Lahore and have done for many years food is always fresh and delicious and the staff always very friendly, if you haven't tried food from here you are missing out.

Disappointed! Used to be a great place with tasty food! But overpriced and quality of food has deteriorated massively!

This is the go to place for me and my family. Food is wonderful and tastes like it is homemade, especially the lamb on the bone, the service is always great, really friendly chap at the front always treats us well.

Lahore was recommended to me for a takeaway. I was told it was very good so I took a chance. Wow, this was by far the best tastiest and most incredible takeaway ever. The curry was cooked to perfection, the pilau rice was spot on. We ordered for 4 adults and we all agreed it was the best and we will certainly be back, thank you for a wonderful meal.

Ordered at 7:20, called at 8:45 to see where the food was, we were told it would be 30 minutes and then hung up straight away. Then called again at 9:25 to see where it was and was told it was just leaving now. Over 2 hours after ordering on a Saturday night and still no food. Was told we would be sorted out next time, I doubt we will order again as it was a rare child free date night with no food.

After almost giving up on finding a decent home delivered, reasonably priced Indian meal in northern Peterborough, we thought we'd try Lahore and glad we did. 3 vegetarian dishes, all distinctively flavoured, were lovely. Couldn't fault the accompaniments either. Delivered fast and hot. Will definitely use them again.

This has been my family's go-to curry place to dine in for years now and I have it delivered myself quite often. They've been consistently great the whole time. Everything I've had from the menu has been stellar (the ceylon being a personal favourite) and is made how YOU want it if you want more of a kick or to turn down the heat. Zed and the team know their menu very well and are happy to make recommendations so if you're dining in, you'll be very well taken care of. Pricing is also very reasonable. I had the chicken ceylon, pilau rice, peshwari naan and two onion bhajee for delivered for £16 (including 2x complimentary poppadoms and mint sauce)

The Best Tarka dal in the whole of Peterborough, unbelievable absolutely incredible. Such a shame it's not consistent.

i had no idea what to order so i asked what would you recommend and i was recommended the Lamb Lahori Desi Style Balti and it was amazing, not only was the food amazing but the staff were so helpful and kind including the delivery driver. Would highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant on Tuesday. The food and service from Zed was excellent. We had a range of dishes lamb bhuna, chicken madras, bombay aloo, rice and nan breads, all were excellent. I was a bit careless when leaving the restaurant and left my shoulder bag behind. When I realised I telephoned the restaurant and Zed confirmed he had the bag and kept it safe until I was able to collect it the following day. Many thanks, I recommend Zed for promotion.

Firstly, the state of the place would make the chum bucket look like paradise. Headed straight for the watering hole to find toilets generously seasoned with pubic hair and by the looks of things, they hadn’t been cleaned since Santa last tumbled down the chimney. My suspicions about the food to come were further raised when the haughty waiter accosted my party and proceeded to deliver lacklustre service. Begrudgingly, we extended our sojourn and ordered three set meal deals (starter, main, rice and side, or naan and side, or rice and naan and no side) My last glimmer of hope was crushed when the starter arrived. It consisted of salad harvested during the Great Depression, lamb to clog your arteries and potatoes so mushy you’d think big foot had been exploring the local farmland. The main consisted of more lamb fit to send me for a check-up, flavourless sauces, and dehumidified rice. Even the stodgy naan and dreary sides couldn’t satisfy our piggish needs. After a few bites, we decided enough was enough. When we asked to have the price of the meal cut down to half because of the shocking food, we were met with a vociferous response from the young chap telling us that all Indian restaurants have fatty lamb and another vociferous response from the older chap who questioned our very own tastebuds. Despite the rude service they still let us pay half to be fair to them but we had to put up a fight. Save your money and don’t come here.

I had a good chat with the Gentleman, (I guess owner) who took my take away order. Very friendly indeed. This is old style Curry cuisine , my goodness I haven’t tasted a Curry so good in many years. I’m an old Peterborough Man who lives in Germany on a home visit. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing. Z’s customer service was brilliant. Honestly not a fault food was cheap, fast, filling and tasty. Wasn’t sure at first about coming here but changed my mind as soon as I had a bite. Would recommend the fish pakora as a starter and the tandoori prawns.

the person taking orders today/waiter placed order for boneless desi chicken Batli gave me lamb dish was basically told I was lying and if I could prove to him I didn’t say lamb he would pay for the order luckily I placed order under my shop camera played them the recording no refund hour wasted for same food reheated with my correct dish

I often visit here and order vegetarian food. Food is generally good and service is nice. But last time when I visited I ordered usual food i.e. Mushroom Paneer and one srilankan guy charged double rate for that because price was not in menu. Last incident spoiled all good experience which I had so far with resturant. So be careful when you visit next time.

We had a meal here on Tues with family it was absolutely wonderful food & service. The staff were very helpful & helped to select dishes to each of our tastes. The spices used were amazing. We will definitely be back for more delicious food.

Service was bad. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours because it was so slow. Brought food out at different times and then got our order wrong. Food was good but not worth 2 hours wait.

My colleague and I Usually order from desi restaurant but today she wanted to try lahore and we were very disappointed, parantha weren’t even cooked properly have burnt and half uncooked, the lamb just was bland and tasted abit off, the chaat was terrible too, looked like we were given someone’s left overs, Peterborough has the worst chaat that’s one thing for sure……! Never ordering from here again… the only thing that was nice was the chutney……!

Food was very good , punctual delivery time. Chicken was very nice and cooked properly, the sauces were spot on.

Food was excellent however service was a little slow.

Had food, taste nice but atmosphere and interior was pathetic.

Took 3 hours to be delivered they said 1 hour 30 and arrived 3 hours later.....terrible.

We have been ordering from Lahore for years by recommendation. We have always been blown away with the quality of food we have ordered. Tonight was the worst meal we have ordered. To be collected at a particular time and we waited a further 40 minutes wait. Once home we found the Keema naan to be missing. We called and they delivered said naan. Our guest who ordered the naan questioned if we had ordered a plain naan instead. We found the whole meal to be very bland. The madras was just chilli type hot and watery, the biryani was just mixed vegetables without any flavour or seasoning and the rice was just rice and lamb which really didn’t taste like lamb. It could have been any red meat. Again no hint of what it should be. Onion bahjees raw inside. We are very disappointed to say the least. We always pass on the recommendation that we were given until tonight. Will find another Indian for the foreseeable future. Waste of money 😡

Great food and friendly staff, perfect

Went here with two friends on Friday 28th January. We reserved a table. We arrived at 6:45 and left at 9:10 (nearly 2 1/2 hours). Not because we ate slow, but because the service was very slow. We had starters and main. Starters came fairly quick, but we waited a long time for the mains. When the waiter was taking our order, he left us part way through twice to answer the phone. A large group came in after we had placed our order, and they were eating their food before our mains arrived. However, the food was very nice and quite reasonably priced. They did apologise for the wait. I would go back because the food was nice, but if service slow again, wouldn't give them a third chance.

I absolutely cannot get the thought of this restaurant out of my mind, I personally bought the butter chicken and it was one of the best purchases in my life and many more to come! I highly recommend a pop in if you are in Peterborough.

Waiting time about 1,5 hour ( children ordered chicken nugets and chips 🤷‍♀️) we never tried it as we left extremly hungry and angry. Waiter told our children to be quiet what shocked us the most. Never again 🙅🏻‍♀️ By the way we came as first guests, had reservation and all the guests who came after us where allready eating and we were still waiting🤦‍♀️😂

I honestly do not recommend it! Very surly service. Disgustingly dirty. The waiting time for the main course was dramatic. Never again!

Having made a reservation with children, we waited an hour and a half for fries with nagets for children, not counting the order for adults. After two hours of waiting, I left hungry. I wouldn't even give one star.

I am always disappointed with local Indian takeaways, I feel cheated. Tonight this changed, great welcome, and great food. Bit of a wait, which is always a good sign. The meat was real, spices were good. Really lovely and I will be back

I was attending a football match at Peterborough Sports, 150 metres from the parade of shops and restaurants in Lincoln Road, so walked to the parade after parking the car to get an early evening meal (a Tuesday evening) I passed several restaurants which had no menu/prices displayed at the entrance (against the law!) and finally reached the Lahore (again, no menu displayed). Just one couple inside eating, so I went in and the owner was very pleasant, offered me a table towards the rear, and cleared it down for single dining. Order taken quickly and food arrived after a few minutes. A party of eight then descended (pre-booked), along with their beers and wines in carrier bags, as the restaurant does not have a drinks licence. The owner dealt patiently with their order for starters and mains, plus side dishes, then I went up to pay my bill once he had passed their order to the kitchen. My modest meal cost a modest £11.20, so I offered my card for contactless payment and was asked if I had my phone as would need a verification text. That is not usually a requirement, so I guess it was something peculiar to the restaurant. To avoid waiting for a text authorisation I paid cash and left.

A truly authentic experience at this establishment, the food is always on point and the service is of a very high calibre. Highly recommended if you want to experience proper pakistani desi cuisine.

This was my favourite eating establishment 18 months ago but after recently going back with family and friends I was heartbroken as the food wasn't anything like it was previously,everything was far too sweet and when we asked we were told ' we don't eat this sort of food ? In that case either get a chef who can cook that style of food or change to what you do cook. Very disappointed as I rated this place highly.

Ordered from here on Easter Sunday. Easy to register and order online and reasonably priced. Food arrived on time, hot, and as ordered. A happy Easter greeting on our complimentary samosas was most welcome- thank you. Loved the food , lovely quality and very tasty

As soon as I stepped inside,I was greeted by a young gentleman (Ditta) with glasses, he was well mannered and was really nice to me and my friends. Another gentleman greeted me,he had a black beard and was quite tall,I believe his name was arsalan. He was very patient,had amazing customer service skills and also was very nice to me and my friends. I would highly recommend lahore tandoori. 9/10

Have struggled for the last few months to find an indian restaurant that was consistent and I was recommend LaHore. Picked the food up, great service, really nice guy when I picked it up and he even gave me a complimentary dish for my birthday. Will defo be back!

I personally love this place it's my favourite resteraunt in Peterborough and that is a big statement with over 200 to choose from. I've not been for the past 6 months so this Saturday will be hopefully as amazing as the last time we ate there .

Fantastic friendly service Arsalan did a fantastic job as usual making us feel welcome, quickly took drinks order , poppadoms quickly delivered to the table fresh and tasty, order taken for starters and main course, very short wait my mixed kebab starter arrived on a piping hot cast iron skillet loaded with freshly cooked onions and delicious chicken tikka , lamb tikka and sheesh kebab all perfectly cooked, main arrived shortly after again freshly cooked tasty and piping hot overall great tasty food and service would definitely recommend

Food is always good, don't go for the tun of the mill stuff, order a proper lamb or chicken Karahi and seriously taste the difference.

As usual zed was welcoming, and attentive , showed us to our table , gave out menus took drinks order , returned promptly with our drinks, took food order with a great knowledge of menu etc , overall great fresh tasty food as usual when visiting here , well worth a visit

Ordered tandori mix grill. Very poor food. Pre cooked and boiled meat with out a taste. Ordered tandori fish but there was less fish snd more better with red colour. Just given red colour to show tondori. Service was pretty bad aswell. Only one person present who wasn't interested in service. It wasn't even busy. Please stay well clear of this restaurant. It's not a Lahore standard food. I can bet most of reviews probably provided by there friends and family.

Absolutely lovely every time I go.In my opinion it’s the best place to go for a curry.Trust me, I’ve tried them all and this is the only one I keep going back to.Also, you take your own alcoholic beverages with you so you can have your favourite tipple with your meal.Really nice and humorous staff especially Zed and Arslan.
