Volví a cenar en Taj con amigos. Vaya, han cambiado la decoración. ¡Tienen un gran aspecto nuevo! Es contemporáneo pero con un toque tradicional pero la comida siempre no decepciona y me recordaron! Definitivamente hacer una visita que recomiendo

El ambiente acogedor y cálido del restaurante, combinado con su marca recién renovada y renovaciones, crea un ambiente acogedor y acogedor. El nuevo aspecto complementa su encanto hogareño a la perfección, un gran servicio y platos auténticos y sabrosos. El personal nos hizo sentir increíblemente bienvenidos con su actitud amable.

Decent food. Portion sizes about spot on and not too expensive with the deal.

I found a lump of wood in my korma it didn’t taste good the korma was very different to previous kormas

driver didnt want to take code and acted suapecious, asked me for the name of the Restaurant.

Food was really tasty - delivery took a while once it said on its way and food could have been warmer but I’d definitely order again!

Ate here for the first time last night and wasn't disappointed. Attentive service from start to finish even with such a large group. Food was plentiful and delicious. I will definitely go back.

Lovely food but we did order butter chicken and two tikka masala’s turned up instead.

The curry was delicious as usual and the delivery was quick taking 1 hour to arrive from ordering off the Just Eat website. A big thumbs up again for the Taj Mahal restaurant.

2 hour 45 minute late. Food is fantastic but wait time was way too long.

Our dishes were utterly delicious! Delivered on time and piping hot. The passanda, rogan josh and pathia were particularly outstanding, lovely flavour and tender chicken. I highly recommend Taj Mahal to anyone and will certainly be ordering from them again.

Food was ok but not as good as other places, it was just about warm on arrival. poppodoms were a bit soft, peshwari naan was quite nutty rather than coconut in it, I asked for biryani mild but it was definitely more of a medium. Balti was ok but again not as tasty as other places.

This was early based on the delivery time they showed after ordering. However, before ordering it said it would be 50-60 mins, then once ordered it said 90-120 mins - and no actual delivery tracking meant we didn't know when food would arrive.

When checking the tracking, as had been quite a long time since receiving the message saying food was out for delivery, the tracking suggested our food had been delivered when it had not, so was a little concerned that it had been delivered to the wrong address. Took another 10 minutes to arrive after that. Delivery guy just handed it and ran. Food was only warm by the time we got it, so had to heat a little in the microwave. Was looking forward to this takeaway, so a bit disappointed. ☹️

We regularly use the Taj Mahal. The menu choices are good, the food always tastes lovely, and delivery has always been better than the predicted time.

Excelente casa de curry. Excelente selección de currys. He comido dos biryanis y mi amigo ha comido la parrilla mixta y un curry de cordero y todos eran porciones grandes, sabroso y con una gran relación calidad-precio. El personal es muy amable. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Really excellent curry house. Excellent selection of curries. I’ve had two biryanis and my friend has had the mixed grill and a lamb curry and all were large portions, tasty and great value for money. The staff are incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend.

Food was really good, I had the chicken vindaloo and is was really tasty with a nice thick sauce. The driver is always very friendly and we also got some poppadoms and chutney thrown in which was a really nice touch. Thank you guys!

Proper authentic Indian restaurant with a real sense of occasion, food & variety top quality, extremely easy to get to just 5 mins walk from shopping centre, staff vety professional, immeduate sense of rapport.

Best keema naan I've ever had in my life, absolutely incredible, huge fluffy & packed full of meat. The £5 samosas though are 2x tiny little party sized things i wouldn't pay more than £1 each for, the pictures shows 2 big ones, avoid them.

Tienes que hacer el menú para cuatro de ustedes pueden. Tiene suficientes platos separados para un poco de todo. Me gusta la comida caliente. Lo tienes aquí bien.

Was a long wait for our deliver and when it arrived our pickle tray had no pickles We also order egg fried rice and got a meat rice.

Curry was ok, rice stodgy, onion bhaji inedible, popodom not fresh. Disappointing.

A special mention to the poppodom pickle chutney tray. Surely the best I've ever encountered.

Food wasn't hot enough and 2 of 3 poppadoms were burnt, only criticisms of the meal experience.

He estado comiendo aquí durante aproximadamente un año y honestamente es un diamante en bruto 😍 Normalmente no dejo comentarios, pero siento que tengo que hacerlo! El sabor de la comida es absolutamente increíble, ha sido consistentemente durante el último año que he estado pidiendo, todo sabe completamente diferente, donde con otros lugares tienden a ser el mismo sabor en toda la comida, incluso cuando se describe como diferente. Algunas veces he probado otros lugares alrededor de Peterborough (solo porque han sido cerrados) y cada vez que estoy decepcionado y desearía esperar (pero su chica es una absoluta delincuente india) ¡Diría que es la mejor comida india que he comido! Siempre un tamaño de porción decente y bien vale la pena el dinero. A veces tienes que esperar en días ocupados, pero honestamente vale la pena! Los repartidores siempre son encantadores también

The packet level was aloo tikla however received someone like egg or not sure. I am vegetarian and really worried if i tasted something non veg, as the item doesn't look veg and no where like aloo tikka. Bringle curry also wasn't good to eat.

Heerlijke curry! Helemaal niks mis mee. We waren in eerste instantie wat ontmoedigd door de achterbuurt en aftandse woonwijk. Vol junks op straat... De eigenaar veetelde dat dit vroeger een mooie buurt was, doodzonde. We hopen voor de eigenaar dat de wijk in ere zal worden hersteld

The food smells amazing, however the curries are the spiciest I’ve ever had, I’ve never had a Rogan Josh as hot as that! The spice aside, I still couldn’t enjoy my meal due to the amount of Fresh Coriander garnishing the dishes, non of which was listed on the menu, so I’ll just take the popadoms for dinner with some chutney 🙁 really disappointed

Amazing food as always never a fault

First and last time ordering here 2 hrs to deliver after ordering just after they opened. It said ASAP! Ordered lamb chops and got 5 tiny bits of lamb tikka instead rest of order was poor quality. tiny bit of veg curry with biryani. You live and learn. .

I order regularly and it's always delicious and food always arrives hot. I have noticed the chef on Sundays uses most spice as the tikka masala curry and onion bhaji are really spicy. But we still keep ordering

The food was great however half our order was missing so unfortunately we had to wait for the rest of our order to be delivered and then had to pair warm curry with cold rice and cold naan.

Onion Bhajis were obviously not home made and not great. The food overall was just okay, the prawn curry just didn’t taste right. Very nice rice though. Wont be ordering again.

The food containers split and the food was swimming around the bottom of the plastic bag. One dish had such a bad smell we had to throw it out. The rest of the food was cold and inedible. Will never use this restaurant again.

The food was late, it was cold also we got chicken tandoori starter but order chicken tikka starter. For a Wednesday night, it was very disappointing.

Proper decent grub, nice & spicy, cooked fresh, decent portions. Could not ask for more. I eat loads of curry and I know a decent curry house when I eat there, this place is 5* Garlic nan for mopping stuff up deserves a special mention & if you like it spicy, get a vindaloo sauce.

Unfortunately some of our items were cold! The chicken tikka byriani especially. The two nan breads were together when was one meat and the other plain and one of us is vegetarian. Not great.
