Food and service is always perfect, each time we come here! Our server for this occasion, Simran, was amazing and friendly - cannot fault. The food was perfect, and she even provided take away tubs to enjoy our leftovers later. Highly recommend coming here - either for a pint or a beautiful dinner!

I'm from Manchester and was working in Peterborough so visited Tap and Tandoor for my two favourite things in life curry and a beer, this place is the perfect place for both. A great selection of beers and a excellent food menu. Fantastic food and our hostess Erin was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again. Please open one one in Manchester.

El sol brillaba y los amplios bancos de afuera eran cómodos, pedimos algunas bebidas y luego el olor de la comida... olía delicioso, así que pedimos comida y era un servicio rápido fresco y sabía muy bien. Después de otro trago nos llevamos bien pero vale la pena visitarlo.

Popped into Tap & Tandoor on a busy Friday night, and despite the crowd, we were seated immediately. In a bit of a rush, we asked the host Sandeep for quick food and drink recommendations. He was super patient and polite, and his suggestions were spot on. The mixed grill was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. Service was top-notch. It was our first time here, and we'll definitely be coming back for more!

La comida no era buena. Los langostinos de chile tenían demasiada masa, el langostino en sí era muy masticable, parte de los langostinos no tenían langostino en él. Las chuletas de cordero estaban caducadas, pedimos reemplazarlas, lo han hecho, pero la chuleta era demasiado masticable y muy grasa, realmente estábamos luchando para incluso cortar una paz de carne.

Honestly I highly recommend this establishment. We had a family meal here, there were 8 of us. My 10year old granddaughter was ill, the manager went above and beyond to try to get her plain chicken, without marinade etc. Honestly we had a fantastic meal and I look forward to our next visit.

We attended today for my partners birthday, we had been meaning to try here for a while but with the children it makes it a little harder in the evenings so we decided lunch would be a good shout. It was certainly worth the wait of coming, we were the first in for lunch and were offered to choose a seat. We were given a light overview of the menu along with drinks etc. Food came very speedy and was freshly made, bhajis are massive and serve 2 easily. We then had butter chicken, chilli naan, tandoori chicken, tandoori roti and some chips. There was more than enough food, if anything our eyes were bigger than our bellies. Service was brilliant from start to finish, atmosphere takes you away from town as it's lightly lit so feels a different vibe to what we normally have in restaurants in Peterborough. Would definitely attend again and was all for a very reasonable price. Thank you 🙏🏼

First time coming here and was very pleased , starters were really nice flavourful and perfect portion size ,mains were also extremely good I got the lamb curry and it was amazing but my partner got the butter chicken and it had a weird taste to it but with everything else being 10/10 we didn’t want to say anything , but overall would definitely recommend coming here

Great service, amazing food, comfy seats. The only thing that could be made better is the bar could have a separate door to separate bar from restaurant because the bar can get very loud at times and it takes away from the ambiance whilst eating.

Tandoor food lovely if a little too salty. Nice to be able to pair food with decent beer selection. Easy going vibe and safe bet. On return just need to call out the exceptional service here, Could not have been any more welcoming. Pretty sure I speak for everyone around me too.

What a gem , unusual Indian Gastro ! Brilliant intro to table, polite and efficient , great value, vibrant atmosphere without being over-bearing (I'm sensitive to noise), the lamb curry was superb, delivered with a smile and good manners.

As a coeliac sufferer I was so impressed with the way they were quick to specify what was gluten free and what was suitable for those with coeliac disease. The food was amazing! Hot, fresh, well cooked and so flavoursome. We had a wonderful meal which was reasonably priced and every single staff member we dealt with was kind, corteous and really helpful. Overall a great experience and will be going back for sure!

OMG. Went in with an average expectation and was own away by almost every aspect. Food on a short menu was stunning and I sampled three meals and they were all amazing. Not very experienced with Indian food, but there was a large group of us, and I had a lamb curry with rice and it was delicious and was spiced just like I asked for.

First time customer recently, on a Friday evening. We hadn't booked (it was a spur of the moment decision whilst in town) but fortunately they had a spare table for the two of us. We were warmly welcomed and the service was very efficient and also friendly. The food was delicious. I was driving so chose a watermelon based mocktail which was lush. Perfect! I'd definitely go back and certainly recommend based on this visit.
