Visited yesterday afternoon with some of my family members, from beginning to end everything was absolutely perfect. Staff were amazing, food was so lovely and the service was second to none, we will definately be back again very soon, Thank you so much

Really great first experience at Tap & Tandoor. Food arrived super quickly and was tasty. We ordered naan sliders, chilli paneer, chilli chicken, aloo tikki chaat, masala fries and the bhajis between 2 people - it was a lotttt of food! Fries were to die for :) Jayde was also super lovely and accommodating. We’ll be back :)

Amazing! Nothing to complain about. Best butter chicken ever and great selection of beers. Don’t pass the chance to grab some food and a pint, you won’t regret.

Fantastic food,good company,beer and curry for a catch up what do you need on a Monday evening.

Overall service is excellent with good range of starters. Won’t recommend at all for the main courses, they are not definitely authentic Indian. Do not waste time and efforts if you really want to try authentic Indian Menu.

As we entered the establishment we were greeted promptly, got given a nice table and service was excellent all night. Our waiter explained the various menus to my table and took the time to explain the various wines. Service and atmosphere was great all night despite the place being busy due to it being near Christmas time. 5/5 from me, would definitely come again and recommend to my friends and family

We get so well looked after by the team. We go in 2/3 times a year for a big feast and a few drinks, the team remember us and make us feel welcome. The food and drinks are both as good as it gets. The mixed grill is our go to. We tried the hot coconut curry this time, which will be added to the standard order next time!

Thank you so much to everyone at the Tap & Tandoor for making my sisters birthday celebration meal so special. Excellent service, waiters don’t even need to write anything down they remember it all, and we were a table of 5! Very friendly, funny, nothing was too much trouble. They even made my mum a personalised cocktail as she wasn’t sure what she would like. A personal touch you don’t really get in many other places in Peterborough. The food was incredible as always! Some of the best Indian food we have ever had and come here often for special occasions. It was so lovely that my sister got a complementary cocktail and brownie with a candle in! Really made the night. Can’t wait to return again!!

Was a really good meal for our Christmas meal, and we were happy with the quality of most of the food. It is a recommended restaurant by all of our staff, and was great value. Will be coming back

Great service, great food. It was very busy when we visited but the staff handled it really well. It could probably be a little loud if you're after a more personal meal, but that said the atmosphere wasn't in any way rowdy or negative.

The lamb curry at Tap & Tandoor Peterborough is a flavor sensation! The lamb is incredibly tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection in a rich and aromatic sauce. The spices are perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of taste in every bite. The generous portions make it great value. Great atmosphere and amazing service. Highly recommended!

Best Restaurant in Peterborough and obviously so when it’s fully booked 4 nights of the week but still manage to fit you in . Selection of ales is well thought out and different from the corporate offerings. Food and Service always world class

Puedo ver por qué, la comida era irreal, todo estaba cocinado a la perfección, el pollo simplemente se desmoronó en ambos currys - mantequilla pollo y palak de pollo. El servicio era excepcional, la comida era increíble. Muy recomendable y volveremos.

Normalmente reservaríamos, pero en esta ocasión nos cuidaron como un paseo - en. Ocupado para un medio domingo por la tarde, pero no demasiado ocupado. Buen servicio y atención. Excelente comida como siempre servida muy rápido.

Had a lovely meal, good as always, my favourite Indian restaurant in Peterborough, never fails to please their customers and has a good selection of ciders to appreciate.

I was recommended to here and i wasn't disappointed. Two of my favourite things ..... Craft beer and Curry. I was offered a flight of 3 beers.(3x1/3 of a pint). So nice to be able to sample 3 different ones. I ordered the fish curry, pilau rice, onion bhaji, and naan. Beautiful medium spiced curry with good chunks of fish. The two onion Bhaji were almost the size of tennis balls !!! Naan bread soft and good for wiping my dish clean. Excellent service. They even asked which beer I liked best. Price was £22.70 for the food. £7 for the beer. I will be returning and will definitely recommend.

We arrived to the restaurant where they took our order asked if we had allergies and because I have airborn allergies and I said yes with my propensity in tow. the manager came over and he had a lovely chat with us and said he would do everything he could to speak to his staff in the kitchen to make sure my food was kept separate but he was concerned that if any one ordered what I was allergic to and they are next to us or it is walked through I said I would happily move to a different area if the table next to us ordered this or anyone else but at that they didn’t and it was ok he went spoke to all of his staff what a lovely man also half way through the meal he came back fingers crossed yes we see them to see how we were doing we were all good and then at the end of the meal we thanked all of the servers and the manager he shook our hand and said we are most welcome any time this is a place I feel most comfy in I would recommend going in the people here are so accommodating and would like to say a big thank u to them.

Have eaten here once. Food was good and I like there was a decent selection of keg beer on. Have also been in couple of times just for a beer.

Thoroughly delicious Indian food. Everything was just delightful and they were more than happy to accomodate my cow's milk allergy. The beers were excellent too. It's always a good sign when a very big indian family comes for Saturday night dinner here. We will definitely be back :).

Went here for the first time with my family to celebrate my birthday was greeted very warmly seated straight away food came very quick me and my daughter had a lamb curry with pilau rice with a plain naan my husband had a vegetarian curry with plain rice my son also had a lamb curry it was most probably the best curry i have tasted service was very good i would definetly recommend tap and tandoor to my friends and family

I have always enjoyed dining at tap and tandoor, where the service is usually top-notch and the food never disappoints. However, my experience last night was soured by one particular staff member. The blonde waitress who served our table was a glaring exception to the usual standard. She seemed completely uninterested in her job, standing idly by the till, seemingly more obsessed with her nails than with the customers around her. Despite several attempts to get her attention, waving hands and all, she remained zoned out and utterly unresponsive. It was particularly frustrating to see how hard everyone else was working while she just stood there, detached from the hustle and bustle. Her grumpy demeanor was evident, and it’s disappointing to say that her attitude ruined what should have been another great experience at this restaurant. I hope management addresses this issue so that the excellent service isn't marred by such poor performance in the future.

Visited Tap&Tandoor on several occasions and it has always been great! On our last visit we went with our 2 year old who not only enjoyed the food but also staff attention, especially Saroj. Food is always delicious, variety of beers, and service has never disappointed us. Will be definitely returning again soon!

Amazing restaurant! Popped in for a bite to eat around lunchtime. Decided to sit outside as the weather was lush. Ample seating both inside and outside the venue. Opted for the mixed grill, which was sizzling and full of lots of different flavours. Added prawns to the grill and was not disappointed at all. The mixed grill was shared between two and was ample enough for my partner and I. Any different beers on tap, both craft and your mainstream beers. I opted for a craft beer, the Mango Mutiny and then a couple of Aspall Ciders. Drinks are on the pricey side, but were much needed in the heat. Food is reasonably priced, in my opinion. Service was very fast and our server was very friendly. Food and drinks brought out to us, which I thought was very good service. Overall would visit again next time I am in the area but I would go for a full meal as everything looks nice and smells good.

I absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly and prompt. The food is always on point - piping hot, fresh, full of flavour and easy to share. I've been here a few times and always am happy to come back - and recommend it to my friends and family.
