We have been a Lahore customer since quite a while , only once we had an issue with food but after that, the way Ferrouz ( I hope I guessed right the spelling) and the all team put any effort in order to show us that they care about their customer and the value of their food , with their passion and genuineness we have just been delight for the care that we received, Ferrouz has been amazing , he really stood up and treat us like a family! On Monday we took our take way collection and they succeed the whole ours expectations , food has been sensational and I think the best I have ever eat ! Very well done guys , and I would say to everyone to give it a shot because they really try very hard to give their best with absolute professionalism and flavour , you won’t regret to order from Lahore Sutton !!! Delicious Lamb Chops for starters Chicken ginger curry and chicken biriani for main. The curry was lovely but the biriani was just okay. Staff friendly and service is what you expect. Good value. Would eat here again.

Chicken was old in one of the dishes, dried & hard. Why sell this? You only lose customers, we can tell you know.

I am working at St Helier Hospital. On Sunday, 09/03/2025, we ordered food Biriyani from Lahore Spice . Unfortunately, we found a small piece of glass and a piece of plastic in the Biryani. Despite calling the restaurant to inform them, they showed no concern and did not respond appropriately. For the safety of others, we are sharing this experience to raise awareness. We strongly advise against buying food from this establishment.

We ordered chicken Biriyani ( Take away) from here and there was 2 plastic pieces , one looked more like glass piece!

I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding an experience I had with an order I placed from Lahore Spices in Sutton. On 09/03/2025, We group of St Helier Hospital Staff ordered food from Lahore Spices restaurant, and upon eating, I discovered two pieces of material ( Plastic and Glass ) in my meal. Naturally, we were very alarmed and immediately contacted your restaurant to inform you of the issue. However, I was extremely disappointed by the response I received. Not only was the fault not acknowledged, but there was also no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is completely unacceptable, especially considering the potential health risks associated with foreign objects in food. After all they says this is a human error so nothing they can do. Those carelessness of the the restaurant team may cause danger to someone's life and even endup in death. As we hospital staff working hard for patient's better health However this kind of people dont care of other's life. As a customer, I expected a much higher standard of care and professionalism in handling such serious concerns. I kindly request a formal apology and a resolution to this matter. as well as an assurance that steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again. We will circulate this matter to the whole Hospital department to ensure that everyone aware of this situation and will circulate within our work place.

Selling expired food , Tried few times in hope that they have improved . seems like everything is from yesterday .

Food was late hard, chewy and cold. Nothing was labelled either. Don’t know about the atmosphere since it was ordered

Been a regular here for years and food has been good. I ordered a biryani last Saturday on offer- buy one get one free and ended up with a really bad stomach pain for 5 days. This is seriously not on! Horrible experience.

Authentic and fresh food. Great staff and decent ambiance.

I am not sure why buy one get one free is advertised for biryani's it was awful full of rice only 3 so little cubes of meat that's it. I would off paid more but expect what i ordered. This offer is a rip off.

(Delivery) I was so disappointed with my food. Food was okay but not hot, the desert was extremely overpriced for what it was - I may have just been unlucky but I didn't feel like it was good value for money at all and wouldn't eat from here again.

Original Lahori Flavour, Good Service

El pollo Tikka Massala era el sabor más extraño, y no en el buen sentido. La salsa estaba muy movida con un sabor que solo puedo describir como una sopa de tomate condensada muy acuosa como sabor que era de un extraño color rosado. ¡Nunca hemos probado un PolloTikka Massala igual! Debí pedir que me lo llevaran para que lo analizaran. ¡Fue tan malo! El Sag Aloo estaba muy ajoso, salado y de nuevo, nada como ninguno que hayamos comido antes. El arroz y los panes eran los únicos que sabían auténticos. Toda la experiencia fue una gran decepción!

Chicken korma, vegetable biryani are good. Kulfi (we tried mango and pistachio) is not to be missed. Keema Naan is the BEST! Good value for money.

Nice decorations, it was absolutely boiling when I was in this restaurant. I’m sorry but the food was awful when I ordered a chicken korma it was absolutely flavourless apart from tasting of pure oil, I could feel the oil just sitting on my lips, I had one bite and that was it. The peshwari naan was ok but I definitely wouldn’t come back. The staff looked very miserable especially the ones behind the counter, they looked very angry at me whenever I walked in their way which made me feel very uncomfortable. I’m sure they are friendly but definitely didn’t feel like it. I also tried one of their lamb dishes, not sure what it’s called but it looked a sausage and had a hole going through the middle, that was vile. Worst thing I’ve ever eaten.

Absolutely amazing food I used to go to the one in tooting but it recently closed soo glad they are here in Sutton my fave restaurant ❤️

Got a takeaway here. Portions were small for the value we paid, their potions use to be bigger. However, the food was good.

I ordered biryani ,nihari and garlic naan and it's totally tasteless food There is no taste in the food here nor is their service good, even if you are ordering food online, their packing is not good nor is there any taste in the food, there is thick rice in the name of biryani and it is tasteless Nihari is sometimes good but if you are ordering then you will only be given a water box which has no taste and on top of that their staff is not polite at all, they are rude if If you want to spoil your mood or waste money, do visit their restaurant

I forgot to pick my reading glasses when I left the restaurant.After 10 minutes I went back to the restaurant the steward who served us (Imtiaz) said he didn’t see the glasses when he cleared the the table.And they refused to check the cctv footage because a manager wasn’t present at that time. Very disappointed with the situation. Ashad was another employee who was there.I hope they will contact me soon as possible.

Disgusting customer service, i ordered 3 gajar halwa from them and when order came it was only 2 inside. I called them to tell them about the situation, they replied with the solution that we can not do anything now. Bye.

Good punjabi style food with authentic taste. Recently ordered a dinner for 40 people. Food arrived fresh and hot, to everyones delight.

I have visited Lahore Spices along with my mum this evening and bought Pakoras today.. Excellent customer service and quantity was more than enough for two people.. overall excellent experience.. Would go again to try other dishes like biryani and other yummy curries that I have seen today.. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to try the best cuisine in town.. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went to Lahore for dinner last Monday evening, and we did not order a lot as we were not that famish. What we ordered was quite adequate and we almost ate the lot, the little bit left, we asked for a container and took it home. Like always we enjoyed the food and the service was good.

Awful experience eating here today. We ordered a mixed grill which had really hard meat pieces. The butter chicken had so much butter it overpowered the dish. The service is ok.

Been there twice twice this week, got the kebab roll on Thursday, lovely but with mostly all kebab rolls it's nice, the Friday had the chicken biryani, what can I say, good portion and really good biryani no doubt, tasty. Also the staff are very friendly, welcoming, great service.

We came all the way from Bournemouth ordered Special chicken Karahi (£25) Ridiculous taste put too much garam masala and spices we made complain and he made again a small portion it was even worst then that ,really disappointed went there because of Maqsood (owner ) but really disappointed if want to eat nice then Dawat tooting ,Namak Mandi tooting highly recommend

Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere walked in for a takeaway order didn't take long and food was very enjoyable and was a fair price will definitely go again!

Ordered on Uber eats, took the food long time to reach, the potatoes in the sindhi biryani were stale, the kebabs had a slight smell l, but the tandoori chicken was nice. Overall the sindhi biryani was tasty but it was too spicy with stale potatoes

Superb food. The curries are great, properly spiced and tasty. Service needs work, they are cutting a fine line between restaurant and take away, but I think the latter is prioritised. Great food though.

One of the perfect restaurant for indian,asian and chinese cuisines. They have enough seating for small partys as well. And one major benefit of this restaurant is that customers can bring their own drinks from outside and they don't charge for it and we can have good food as well. I got a take away from this place the chicken tikka Malasa was highly disappointing taste of pure milk the colour was completely off, the samosas were hard couldn’t bite into it. The only edible bit was the garlic narm bread which I would recommend

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this great Pakistani restaurant as soon as we came in they sat us down and brought lots of things onto the table we ordered were taken with diligence and the waiter suggested certain dishes will be better suited to my son the food came lovely hot and fresh the only thing was they have forgotten one side order which I had to chase them down for but it came very quickly and they piled on some extra drinks because of the weight it's incredibly cheap as well.

Another one of those restaurants that tricks u by not giving complimentary vegetables dish when ordering biyriani but their food does have a unique nice flavour

Taste was poor for the dishes ordered both veg/nonveg, worst tasting dried out stale chicken and poor tasteless paneer.The Naans were not even freshly baked these were reheated store bought ones. Honestly if we have to eat stale naans we can buy it from the grocery store and why would we bother ordering from you? Even the good grocery store ones are better than what was provided. Extremely disappointed food not coming back and neither will recommend to anyone! Skip if you can.

Very good and very tasty Pakistani food. Very rarely have we had good indian/Pakistani/Bengali takeaways. This is a rare exception well worth it. Would recommend the meat byriani and lamb handi!

I felt to give negative rating for this restaurant but unfortunately we don’t have option to it. I had been here first time and the last time. The services are pathetic.

Ordered a take out last night, Butter chicken was swimming in oil , tried it after pouring oil off , couldn’t eat it , mushroom rice looked ok but I’d been put off by now , also the onion bhajis wasn’t cooked through & keema nan looked ok but wasn’t going to eat it after all , picked at a bit of it , then Binned it , I will stick to Indian as this is the third time now I’ve tried Pakistani food & haven’t had a good experience,, Never again,,, I might have been an off night but not happy whatsoever with that take out.

I order a take away last night, the worst t Chicken tikka masala I've ever had, extremely oversalted and tasted cheesy, it tasted NOTHING like a chicken tikka masala.. We had throw away more than half of the order since it was inedible. The only half decent item was the naan bread. Overall the worst take out I've ever had.

I will not be ordering from here again!!!! The butter chicken was leaking everywhere and was the worst butter chicken I’ve ever had! Flavour was as if they used a pre made seasoning packet for 0.01p!!! It was so bad I could even eat the food with out gagging!!! The rice was “meh” but how difficult can it be. I can also say the rice had some crunchy parts. The naan was plain you might as well have dipped bread; the only flavour I got from the naan was the burn charcoal! I DONT RECOMMEND! Go here as your last resort!!!!

Overall food ok but very spicy. Mixed veg curry was extremely spicy and it was only potato and a slice of Carrot... Pilao rice very dry Well not sure if ever come back to be honest

If you love Pakistani food then it’s a great place to eat, you should not miss this restaurant. We tried vegetarian food and it was amazing. Try Mango lassi, Sag Paneer, butter paneer and naan. You can bring your bottles to drink as well. People were trying biryani too and it was looking tempting.

Fantastic cuisine and good service . Ambiance is nice and perfect.Food is delicious.you can try that as well. Recommended for all Asian out there.

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW BELOW [EDITED]: I visited Lahore Spices during Ramadan and ordered a mixed grill alongside a few other things off the menu. Whilst I understand the restaurant would be busy due to people wanting to break their fast, I was served a mixed grill that seemed like it had been cooked earlier that day & simply reheated in the microwave. I was extremely disappointed to see this & did find it quite odd that the mix grill came out quick after ordering it. Normally a mixed grill comes out sizzling but it didn’t on this occasion. The chicken & kebabs were very very dry & the lamp chops were really tough. The food was of course not fresh at all, and I made a complaint to the waiter who replaced the lamp chops but not the whole grill. I was half expecting not to pay for the mixed grill as I was not impressed however as it was Ramadan I didn’t want to make a fuss. Because of this experience, I will not be ordering or visiting Lahore Spices again as the food does not seem to be of good standard anymore and the service isn’t great either. Such a shame that a once great restaurant seems to have lost its touch. ————————————————————————— I regularly order from Lahore Spices and have been doing so for the last few years; given it’s the only local Pakistani restaurant in my area. I do enjoy the food, however on occasions it can be hit & miss! Sometimes the kebabs aren’t fully cooked and the biryani doesn’t have much chicken or meat. Although, majority of the time this isn’t the case, however there is definitely room for improvement in terms of the consistency of quality! Recently delivery times have been very long, and we’ve been waiting over an 1hr for the food to arrive. I hope this improves drastically in the future.

Very delicious authentic pakistani cuisine, tantalise the taste buds. Very good public transport connectivity and parking options around. Easy on the pocket. Good portions. All dishes tried so far tasted amazing... eating in i prefer as dnt taste as good when takeaway or delivery...

Food was good but tables were not cleaned, even spoons and forks were not cleaned as you find in any normal restaurants Atmosphere wise, overall okay, seating arrangements can be improved and definitely air conditioning.

Edit: 12 April 24 Probably last visit here. Food has gone downhill. Prices have gone up. There are many Indian/Pakistani places other than this one and I'll be visiting others now. I do a monthly visit here and usually the food is on the good side (provided you stick to some known ones). Food is oilier than I would like. Their freshly made tandoori roti and paratha are excellent. Last visit was a bit disappointing... The tandoori chicken and the chicken kebab were both tasteless and for a moment I thought I had COVID symptoms but their lamb kebabs saved the day. Recommended dishes - ginger chicken, karela ghost, mutton tikka, Dal tarka and bhindi (last time was not so good but is generally nice). Definitely recommended for a good Indian curry for decent price.

Went to Eat there the other day terrible service staff were very rude stared at us made us feel very uncomfortable we were never rude for some reason they just didn’t like us will never go there again. Food okay would not advise anyone to go there unless you want to be treated very badly.

Ordered a Vindaloo which is my go-to when I have a cold, and I currently have one. I really like Vindaloo, and don't think it deserves the reputation some people give it of just being for people who want something stupidly hot with no interest in the actual flavors. The Vindaloo from Lahore is unfortunately exactly this. The taste was distinctly of very cheap tinned tomatoes, with a full jar of hot chilli powder stirred in. No potatoes. No fresh spices. Just unpleasant acidity and dry powdery heat. It's now in the bin. My rice also had a full clove of burned garlic in it.

Excellent food.. butter Naan was not good. Other than that good tasty food. Need to improve on customer service a little bit.

I’ve had food from Lahore Spices twice and both times it was a bad experience as the food they served had gone off. First time, I dined in the restaurant. The potatoes in the samosa chaat were off. Second time, I had their take away food at a friend place. The chicken biryani had gone off and it went straight to the bin. Never having food from this place again!

The staff at the restaurant was incredibly kind. I went there during iftar because I couldn't make it home in time to break my fast after work. Even though I ordered my food to go, the staff asked me to sit down and offered me free ruhafza (juice) and dates to break my fast.

One of the waiters offered my friend to take her to the toilet as she got up, then kept asking her how old she was! How shameful of this waiter and this restaurant!

If ordering from Deliveroo you will get free delivery above £25 and faster delivery compared to ordering from their app where they charge £2 extra for delivery and you receive order after 60 mins. Also when you call for update they seem not interested in talking to you and keep saying driver already left and you will still keep waiting for 15 more minutes.

Food was nice and flavoursome. Service and atmosphere served its purpose.

MarshaAllah proper busy, noisy in a good way, respectful place to enjoy all the traditional dishes. Been here quite a few times and probably eaten more times than I know, as it’s a popular location for Iftaar takeaways.

Popped into this restaurant with my family from abroad, food was really nice, might be a bit spicy for some but very tasty. Would defo go there again. Staff were helpful with choosing meal.

Generous portions, delicious flavour!

I have never ever written a one star review, BUT this one star rating is being generous. I can not exaggerate just how terrible the food has been for a family get together where we placed a large order with this establishment in November 2023. Previously, years prior, we enjoyed many enjoyable meals and takeouts from this establishment, and the older favourable reviews you will find here are justifiably. One assumes, however, at some point in the last few years there has been a change of chef or management as, quite frankly, the food we had today was of a completely inferior standard. Of the whole extensive range of food ordered, every single dish but one was awful, just awful. As for the one dish that was not awful, it was, at best, describable as passable. Please, look elsewhere and save yourself major disappointment. How bad was it really, well, we binned 80% of the food and we rarely let food go to waste.

Value for money and no compromise on taste

Ordered a kebab roll for lunch, freshly made good service, nice atmosphere with decent seating. Definitely a great spot for Sutton locals who want authentic Indian/Pakistani food without travelling out of town!

If I had an option to give no Star I would have given that. I ordered veg biryani, Paneer Tikka Karahi,Tarka Daal and naan I am vegetarian but the Paneer Tikka Karahi which was listed in the vegetarian section has pieces of meet. I would not eat, I was unwell 😔 and was hoping to change my taste buds. This was very poorly of Lahore spice to use same gravy for veg and non vegetarian food.

Food can be hit or a miss. If lucky, you get it fresh, if not, it is stale and not palatable.

Great place to go for a quick meal. VERY reasonably priced and is always welcoming and tasty. Love the food here. Always spot on. My favs Lamb curry, fish tikka, all starters and mains are good.

Worst experience I ordered kebab karahi and It was extremely salty when I complained to the restaurant to exchange or refund hey won't agree and misbehaved I won't never order food from them.

I ordered a takeaway after someone in the pub reminded me of Lahore Spices and it blew me away (in a good way). It was one of those curries that is so good you have to write a review on Tripadvisor. I would thoroughly recommend. The portions were really generous too!
