We always order from India cottage and it is always amazing food and arrives alot earlier than expected which is always a plus! I can’t recommend ordering from here enough! Will always get my curry from here.

Have always eaten here and got takeaways from here and both are fantastic. The owner is a lovely guy and all the staff are fantastic. It’s cheap and reliable, the staff are always very friendly and welcoming and they’re a lovely local restaurant

Been getting take away from this authentic restaurant for a few years now, and they've always taken care of my order. The naan and chicken tikka are my must haves, as we can't make those at home the way they do. We eat in occasionally and often get take away. The food is of good quality, service is good, staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend eating here.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this restaurant. My takeaway order was delayed by nearly two hours, which was frustrating enough. When the food finally arrived, it was a disaster. Two of the dishes were missing entirely, and the ones that did arrive were a nightmare. One dish was completely undercooked—still pink inside—and the other was overcooked and burnt beyond recognition. To top it off, there was no apology or explanation for the delays or the mess-up. This has easily been one of the worst takeaway experiences I've ever had, and I definitely won’t be ordering from here again. If you're looking for quality food and service, I’d strongly suggest you look elsewhere

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Driver insisted on a tip and had no change available. Food tasted honestly like cigarettes and was appalling. Chicken was pink. AVOID.

Absolutely terrible. 3 of the curries had pink chicken. The saag aloo tasted like cigarettes. The driver begged for a tip. I called to complain and he said oh I can send a saag aloo next time. I would not recommend.

We ordered 6 curries from this ‘restaurant’ and the food tasted awful. The Saag Aloo tasted like actual cigarettes and the chicken dishes are include pink chicken among a flavour which tasted nothing like masala. On top of this after a 1 hour wait the delivery driver begged on a tip. I would recommend that under no circumstances you dine in or out of this restaurant. A truly torrid experience.

App told me it had been delivered, but had to call the restaurant to confirm it hadn’t arrived yet.

Very good value for money and quality food. First time I have used India Cottage since I have been back this way again and will definitely use again. Used to use them more regular years ago.

This is our go to restaurant for a curry, they have a wide range of excellent and varied dishes, beautifully cooked, good portions, reasonably priced great service and a very nice owner, you couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended

I order my food at 7.15 and was told 60 mins my daughter has not even had dinner it’s now 9pm and we’re still waiting for it to be delivered! I’ve rang 4 times and no answer! I want a refund it’s disgusting service!

Ordered 2 hours in advance, delivered 45 minutes late. Sincere apology from the delivery man, but it was a bit late to be eating a rich curry. Sauces good, but chicken a bit tough. Usually very good food and delivery time.

Chicken was soggy and watery ( microwaved ?) rice wasn’t too bad won’t be ordering from here again. Will drop all that wasn’t eaten off 2 Moro

Good and tasty Tandoori chicken. Saag Bhaji wasn’t all greens as it should be. It was bulked out with potato making it more like Aloo Bhaji, That’s poor.

Terrible service for an order. Told an hour, called 3 times and still no delivery after 90 minutes. Have used this curry house many times, sorry time is up, cannot accept terrible service. Head to the Indian Lounge, Cheam offers amazing food!

Almost 30 minutes past collection again. This happened last time. Food quality not as it used to be. Been visiting this restaurant for more than 20 years. No more. Such a shame.

Their food is amazingly tasty - I just wanted more! The staff here are so kind, and I get on with the owner so well! The smell as well, oh my gosh! Everything about this place is perfect and it's only a few minutes away from where I live! :)

Something went wrong with the Just Eat bit of the delivery, the restaurant actually delivered it them selves. Their food and service was excellent. Just eats was a bit chaotic.

Food came on time. Well priced. But taste could have been better. Too oily. Less seasoned - low on salt and spices.

Took two hours and 15 minutes to be delivered, quoted an hour. Rang to chase, man who answered was rude and unapologetic and basically hung up. Saving grace was that the food (when it eventually arrived) was good.

Always a great meal and excellent service from India Cottage. This is my go to restaurant for a curry. Great value too. Also thank you to the restaurant's delivery staff who do a great job.

We ordered a take away that arrived over one hour later , on opening the white plastic bag it was deliver in ,it was very obvious that two of the dishes had been squashed, the lids were off , the contents was mixed in with the other food ( one being vegetarian) sauce was leaking out of the bag , it was unbelievable! On calling the Restaurant, we were told not to worry , that they would redeliver within 30 minutes ! One and a half hour’s later , and after many phone calls that were not been picked up by the Restaurant , in fact the calls were being cut off , we decided to pick at some of the originally food delivered , as by then we were hungry , the nan bread was undercooked ,soft and floppy, the popadoms were also soft , the yoghurt sauce tasteless , the quality of all the food was so bad , that we could not eat it ! All we really wanted was a refund which we did not manage to get , due to the lack of any sort of response when trying to contact them by phone .. We payed just over £40 for very substandard food . I Would definitely not recommend this Restaurant .. .

Lovely Meal. Have ordered quite few times from here and never a bad meal. delivery usually quicker than expected too.

Popped in for a quick bite after a few drinkies. We were greeted immediately, and shown to a table, and served drinks.. My friend had a King Prawn Curry, and I a Lamb Bhuna, as well Aloo Gobi, mushroom pilau rice, and some Breads n Chutneys. All the dishes were very flavoursome and well seasoned. All in all, a very nice experience, and would definitely recommend.

I recently had the displeasure of ordering from Indian cottage which im a regular customer and I can confidently say that it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. After waiting a mind-boggling 2 hours for my food to arrive, you can imagine my disappointment when the delivery person finally showed up with cold, seemingly forgotten food. Not only was the food inedible due to its temperature, but the starter I had been looking forward to was missing entirely which happens quite often. To add insult to injury, after subjecting me to this torturous wait and delivering subpar, cold food, they had the audacity to charge me an extra £2.50 for the privilege when their food is already overpriced. I can't help but feel utterly disrespected and taken advantage of. This entire ordeal has left me deeply dissatisfied and quite frankly, appalled. I will certainly never be ordering from Indian Cottage ever again, and I strongly advise others to steer clear if they value their time, money, and taste buds.

Disgusting service. Ordered at 7 said 45 minutes and rang up at 8 when they said 20 minutes. At 5 to 9 I rang 6 times and my phone call wasn’t picked up until I rang on my wife’s phone where they answered immediately and admitted to ignoring my calls!!!

Food tastes very plain , doesn’t even have any flavour of biryani. It’s just like color rice with mushrooms. Very bad experience with the taste. Never gonna order again

We love this place. A very tasty and reasonably priced curry house. Their chicken bhuna is superb.

Food not particularly hot, and was quite greasy. I get a takeaway from here every week or so, and thought their customer service was not good enough today. I ordered our food at 17.50 for delivery at 19.25. At 19.50 I flagged it as late and was given a new time of 20.10. It finally arrived at 20.25 and the driver didn't have a clue it was nearly an hour late. I requested some compensation via Just Eat but was told that I wasn't getting any, with the hope that I enjoy my food. I didn't particularly. I will be trying another restaurant next week.

I placed an order at 6:55pm and did not receive my order until 8:50pm. The estimated delivery time was between 7:50-8:10pm. I called the restaurant twice and each time was told the food was on its way. I am not satisfied with the service at all.

Paid for 3 poppadoms, only 1 was delivered. Food arrived 1 hour late & was cold.

Excellent takeaway on a Saturday night.

This order took 2 hours to be delivered and when it arrived it was awful. Some items were soggy from where it took so long to be delivered. The main meals were very bland and tasted like they had been sitting in water. Extremely disappointed and will not order from here again.

Delicious food and amazing value!

Waited 1hr 45mins to be precise, totally unacceptable. Then when unpacking the meal half of it was missing. We tried ringing the restaurant but constantly engaged so my son ended up having to go back to restaurant to sort it out. We then had to re-heat it all. Totally ruined the evening as it was far too late. I have already sent an email complaint to you regarding this on Monday but it has obviously been ignored.

Have used for many years as our local takeaway, but recently the delivery times have been awful, as recently ordered on a Saturday, yes the busiest time of the week, with that in mind ordered early, 6.30pm for a family meal. 8.30pm arrives after being told 1hr. After 1.30hr called and told on its way. Anyway when food arrived less the half was delivered, driver said that was all he had. I then had to drive to the restaurant to complain as no answer on the phone. Once at the restaurant the manager was very sorry and apologetic about it all, as this was happening the driver returned with our food that he had found in his car, with a refund aggreed and all our food. We ended up eating very late, not so much a problem more annoying. The food is always tasty and good quality. My advice for takeaway orders are to collect, in future we will do this as delivery times are just not correct and have been upto 1-2hrs late. Not great service

Good curry at a competitive price

Tasty wonderful food, good atmosphere and staff are friendly and welcoming. We had Chicken korma/bhuna, special/mushroom rice, cauliflower bhajis, Sag paneer, naan and poppadoms, plus X2 Pepsi all came to £45, all food on menu reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Offered to collect to make it quicker, told me to come in 20 minutes, 35 minutes later I am still sat at the restaurant. Offered the men in the queue beers to say sorry but nothing offered to the ladies. When I got the food home item missing and food was cold. Never spending my money here again

Normally my favourite curry house but tonight the Bombay potatoes was not good at all , felt very rubbery , which is a texture I would never associate with potatoes, was weird

Delicious food, friendly welcome and great service. Loved the new starter items. My sister and I couldnt decide so shared the beautifully marinaded Lamb chops and the subtlely spiced Aloo chop between us. Wonderful Balti Dansaks - All delicious and thank you!
