Fuimos por primera vez a Lady of the Grapes hace unos años y nos había impresionado mucho. Posteriormente hemos vuelto un par de veces pero no recientemente hasta la semana pasada. No estoy seguro de lo que ha pasado con el lugar, pero estábamos muy decepcionados. El vino es ridículamente caro, no había bocadillos o comida disponible y la proposición de que automáticamente añaden un "discrecional" 13. El cargo por servicio del 5 % se encuentra en la parte inferior de un lado de la lista de menús / vinos, que podría incluso no alcanzar. Una jarra de rosas ( 0 . 5 ltr) trabajado a un poco más de £ 60. ¿Iré allí otra vez? Muy poco probable. ¿Lo recomendaría? Qué decepción y sólo puedo asumir que el personal directivo ha cambiado. El vino era agradable, pero nada especial. En mi opinión, hay lugares mucho mejores.

Llevé a mi mamá a Lady of The Grapes para nuestra comida más especial mientras estábamos en Londres. ¡No decepcionó! Optamos por el menú del chef con el maridaje de vinos adicional de £ 60. Cada plato era delicioso. Cada plato se reflexiona mucho desde el sabor, la textura, la presentación y el momento. El restaurante es pequeño e íntimo. Tuvimos un dos - parte superior cerca de la puerta, que es perfecto para la gente mirando mientras comíamos. Disfrutamos especialmente del sándwich de anguila de Devon, Quenelle de merluza, coliflor frita en sartén, y la melancolía de gallinas de Guinea (pastel de carne, en la foto. ). Recomiendo encarecidamente para un derroche. Reserva con anticipación. Josh era nuestro camarero y era encantador y perfectamente atento. ¡Y los vinos! Ven por los vinos solos. Saborearás algo nuevo e interesante además de delicioso.

¡Qué gran experiencia! Lugar único entre muchos lugares especiales en la zona. Un oasis de vinos, servicialmente comisariado por nuestra increíble servidora Laura. Muy recomendable!

Gran ambiente, servicio, comida y una carta de vinos muy extensa! Las ostras eran sublimes, al igual que el besugo, el cangrejo y los espárragos servidos junto con las mejores patatas fritas de la historia! Probamos dos postres - ruibarbo y el choux con avellana - ambos estaban deliciosos! Sin duda volveremos de nuevo!

Teníamos los espárragos y la buratta y era excelente. Estamos volviendo. Servicio personalizado y una calle acogedora. Me encantó ❤️

My phone wasnt working on the day and i couldnt attend. I sent an email explaning my situation but still got charged £30 cancellation fee. I dont feel that the restaurant staff was undertanding at all.

Excellent wines and a cosy atmosphere with friendly yet professional staff! You can find any wine to suit your tastebuds and budget at this gem in Covent Garden. Special mention to fantastic sommelier Monique who guided me through the extensive wine list and picked an absolute gem!

Such a hidden gem! Lovely, cosy place with an exceptional wine list (all organic and natural) and super fresh and seasonal dishes. The chicken liver mousse and enoki tempura are to die for - so light and super tasty. The service is exceptional, the staff members that served us were always smiley and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

What an amazing place. On a rainy Saturday night this was an oasis of wonderful wine and food. Our waiter Sam was so attentive and helped us navigate through the wine menu and his recommendations were well received. The place was very busy but despite that, Sam still made our visit unique. Heartily recommend and will definitely will go again.

Chose LOTG because of its proximity to the Adelphi Theatre (2 mins walk) & good TA reviews. It’s absolutely my kind of place - small, characterful, personal .. & with a sharing plate/tapas/wine focused menu. I didn’t really put them to the test on their culinary skills - l as I opted for my dream lunch of charcuterie board, but I can attest to a delightful, buzzy environment, lovely, attentive service & fab array of wines, cheese & tapas. The staff/management could not have been more friendly & helpful (thank you for storing my luggage!)

I love the place , cheese is great, wine is really good depending on the choice ( they can have bad stuff too if you don't spend a decent amount of money). But service is so bad. Specifically there is this guy, I think eastern European which is the rudest. he seems he's doing you a favour to bring stuff to the table and he is grumpy as it gets. The service should really get better..

Previously, I have loved LOTG and have recommended it to friends. However, on this visit instead of service I was handed a blank page with a QR code, told to use my phone and then swiftly deserted. No direction to the board, no suggestions, no service at all. We left

What a gem of a place. A beautiful and quaint establishment. A remarkable selection of fine wines and some lovely meats and cheeses to accompany them. The staff (Sommeliers) are extremely knowledgeable of their products and passionate. Had some lovely wines suggested by them that I would not have normally tried. A really great place and will be sure to be back.

Amazing experience! It was my first time here and the food was just amazing! The wine combinations offered by Paolo were spot on!!!!! His knowledge of natural wines is exceptional and he made my evening! Will definetly come back!

Abbiamo cercato questo locale in quanto curiosi della selezione dei vini in carta. Qualità del cibo buona e personale cordiale e onesto (consigliano magari di ordinare un po’ di portate e vedere come va prima di ordinare tutto in un colpo con il rischio che poi avanzi cibo). Purtroppo i prezzi sono alti rispetto ad altri locali sul genere, sempre centrali, e con un’offerta di vino forse un pelo più autentica. Nonostante tutto è comunque un wine bar che offre un’alternativa alla bevuta convenzionale e che propone alimenti di qualità.

A standout amongst the usual Covent Garden fare. Cosy, welcoming (& dog friendly). We enjoyed the ambience, service and most importantly the food and wine. The latter a little on the pricey side (it was great but a more modest option on the menu would be good). That said, it was a lovely spot with quality produce. Recommended.

Fantastic concept. Fantastic place. Great location and a really good choice of wine & food. Great choice of buy the glass wine on offer which matters. Finding what you like ‘by the bottle’ can be tough. The Staff are fantastic. They help with your choice but somehow don’t overbearing or oversell. Genuine help not a mini sales Pitch. Perfect.

Started off good. Welcoming staff. We got the charcuterie board which we got to choose what was on the it. The board was very good and nicely presented. We also got bread accompanied with this which was very stale and was practically inedible. We asked if they had any other bread, but they replied that they didn’t, however when we finished this stale bread (no other option) they brought out much fresher, softer bread after we had almost finished. This was annoying.

Went with some friends and had an amazing evening. Julien did a really good job looking after us, very attentive and helpful. The food was just exquisite and so fresh, will definitely go back.
