Very nice pub. Staff were great and plenty of selection.

Always a lovely experience when coming here. Food is superb. Lots of seating and well priced food. One of my favourite places to eat. Usually staff are friendly and lovely na welcoming, odd few times where staff are a bit depressing and moody but usually they’re friendly!

Part of Ladies Mile next door is a very nice hall , you can hire, I would definitely recommend for a child's party.

I heard the food and service was really good so we chose for Sunday lunch. Honestly the best Sunday roast - hot, top quality and perfectly cooked. Staff were amazing - friendly efficient and genuinely wanted to be there and give a good service. Highly recommend

I just had to add my review of the Ladies Mile having been there today for Sunday lunch. Our experience went further than the superb food, but a big thank you to the kitchen staff behind the scenes for the lovely meals we had! It started with being greeted by the front of house staff- both the gentleman and lady who made us feel very welcome on our arrival - something I have found to be a rarity these days in hospitality! They, and the team were friendly, attentive, polite and informative throughout our visit.i really want to make the point that this was appreciated. I can't add much more to the positive reviews on here, as we had a delicious meal of one seasonal chicken and one beef, lamb and chicken roast combination. All superbly presented with extra gravy, sides of pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. A homemade brownie for desert, was amazing too! Along with the old school aesthetic charm of the pub, it was a great value for money and its popularity spoke volumes for the place's reputation. We visited from north of London as in the area, but will definitely return to the Ladies Mile and wholeheartedly recommended it! Thank you, Jay!

Always an excellent roast here, with friendly service, very much a community pub.

We held my dad's celebration of life in the Ladies Mile Function Room. All the organisation was so very easy with Gayle, and she was very compassionate and flexible on all arrangements. The hall is perfect, it is clean and well decorated, we had 30 people and there was plenty of space for us all to fit comfortably. We had our own bar, pictures on the big TV and our choice of music. The food was absolutely incredible - we had an 80% vegetarian food option which was varied and tasty. Thanks to everyone at The Ladies Mile for making my dad's send off perfect.

Went here with my grandkids for a santa evening with mini fairground rides nice place but food is on the expensive side I suppose its normal prices down here im from Merseyside so probably a bit cheaper. Its a lovely pub anyway

The service is quick and efficient and really great atmosphere and I have a son with Autism and they really go out there way to help us with him

Really excellent local pub. What really makes this place stand out is the staff, especially the landlords. They make a real effort in the local community, and they are always welcoming. Worth making a trip to if you're planning a walk on the downs or fancy something different from Brighton town.

Came for Sunday lunch with my family. We’d been told the food is excellent and we weren’t disappointed - roasts all beautifully cooked and presented. It was very busy but the staff made the effort to be friendly and chatty

The table was booked for 5 adults and two dogs. Great food and plenty of it, even the dogs were given a separate bowl full. It was very busy but the food was brought quickly and piping hot. The only disappointment was the location of the table, next to where the food was served from and we didn't feel we could relax after the meal. This was only a minor inconvenience. As I said it was very busy but with quality of service and food you could understand why. Highly recommended and we will return.

I attended a wake and unfortunately lost my very valuable bracelet. I phoned the pub and they said if the cleaner found it they would let me know. The next morning they phoned me to say they had found it. I really value the honesty of the staff. Well done, Ladies Mile 100% recommended

Booked at the last minute but was accommodated with swift efficiency with a warm and friendly welcome.wine and beer was served promptly. The wide selection of meats was great as some restaurants only serve a couple of meats. We all had roast lamb and the whole plate was lovely also we was given extra gravy We offered to move to another table to accommodate 6 people whereby I was thanked by the owner . Highly Recommend !

Truly awful! Small plates, expensive for what it was and the food was terrible -Sunday Roast dinner with Nut-roast. The roast potatoes were the worst I've ever had. They were consistently HARD, cut too large so were either undercooked or made from a potato unsuitable for roasting. They weren't fluffed up, but were shiny and smooth, on their uncrisp exteriors. The veg was overcooked and the beans were inedibly stringy. The nut roast was cut too thinly, small in portion, TOO salty, and had the consistency of mush. The gravy was tasteless and watery. A full plate of food was left uneaten. Usually I would persevere and finish so as not to waste food and money or even just to be polite but in this instance it was not possible, as it was just that bad. Had to go and buy a sandwich afterwards. Left the building quite annoyed, hungry and upset a pub would actually serve plates that bad to customers.

I stood outside and observed. Then the bus arrived exactly on time as per the automated display. The pub looked busy and provides a great bus stop location. Oh dear googles accuracy strikes again

Lovely place the food was amazing

Thought as our local pub they would be more understanding but took a pint away from our daughter even though she was 17 and eating which by law is fine (and we had ID), were very rude about it too. Disappointing.

This has to be THE BEST pub in the whole of Brighton . Fantastic food !!! Wonderful service !! Super friendly staff !!!. Took my family for my mums birthday lunch (79) Her granddaughter, my daughter flew in from UAE to surprise her . The staff were so so amazing helping us arrange a great table and sneaking my daughter around the back to make her surprise entrance. It couldn't have gone more perfectly ♥️. Now to the food ! Hands down this has to be THE BEST roast dinner I have had out in years, locally sourced and cooked to perfection . The quality of the meat , and vegetables was so perfectly presented and so perfectly cooked . There was so much food on the plate,home made Yorkshire puddings , gravy was beautiful. The meat metled in the mouth and the cauliflower cheese was outstanding . Some of us had the assiste of deserts , some had ice cream , we all had coffee and in all spent around 3 hours there . First time but most definitely not the last time . Thank you To everyone for making our day perfectly special 💕

We were at a party in the Hall so only bought drinks. Large and lively pub with some parking outside. Food seems to get good reviews on TripAdvisor sought come back and try a meal here another time.

Team Ladies Mile catered for my Dads wake this week in a barn in a nearby church, and I am so grateful to them. From quick communication always to the service on the day, I did not have to give it a second thought. The food was lovely and we had , as did they, many compliments. Gayle took the worry off my shoulders and sorted it. It was just what we wanted.

Absolutely stunning Roast dinner - I had the B.L.C and my partner has the vegan wellington! Beautifully cooked and was such a delight to eat! Never had a bad experience eating here , we love coming to The Ladies Mile !

Just had one of the best roast dinners, My daughter had pork belly with lots of crackling, and the pork just fell apart, I had the lamb, which was lovely, lots of vegetables perfectly cooked, and roast potatoes were also very nice, massive Yorkshire pudding, all in all lovely experience, will defo return. P.s you will need steak knives for beef and lamb, this was pointed out, and they have knives on order. Pps, all staff were lovely as well

The only thing better than the food was the service. The staff were very welcoming and couldn't have done more to make us feel comfortable. The roast was excellent, great portion sizes and it was all delicious. Thank you for having us, see you again no doubt.

So price is not cheap for a sunday roast but my opinion is you get what you pay for. An amazing roast done to perfection 👌 would definitely recommend

Such a lovely New Year's Eve, haven't been to this pub in years and had such a lovely time at the family day they put on for NY Eve! Thank you to the staff, especially those dressed up! Elsa and Spiderman made my little girl's year! Xxx

Nice pub for meeting up with old friends.

Attended a private party. Room was just rhw right size. Bar was well stocked but did not have the full variety as in the main bar, so had to keep going out for drinks. It was then a little hard to get back in. We also found the drinks quite expensive. The party organiser had a buffet so we didn't have a meal in the restaurant.

I visited here for the first time sadly for a wake. The staff were very very pleasant and helpful. There were local ales, tea, coffees, alcohol, and lovely appetising food available. A lovely pub i will visit again on a more pleasant occassion.

Great service from friendly staff and a nice friendly atmosphere. I was there for a charity car wash so didn't spend much time in the actual pub but the time I did spend and the service we received was 1st class. Would definitely be up for stopping there propely sometime soon 👍

Went for Sunday lunch & had roast beef which looked lovely, however 2 of the 3 slices of beef were so tough I couldn't cut them. I explained to the waitress & she said 'no one else has complained' which made me feel like she didn't believe me. The beef was replaced but by that time I'd lost interest. The roast potatoes were hard on the outside & firm on the inside & not very nice at all. The atmosphere was very noisy & over the top, you couldn't hold a decent conversation without shouting.

Cracking pub, great for functions. Decent quality food too. I had a steak salad and last time I had a chicken burger. Delicious

Give the chef/chefs/cooks here a Michelin! I have just chosen a nut roast off the Vegan Menu (ahead of their time too) - and it was the most delicious nut roast with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy I have ever had! (And I am getting on a bit so lots of experience). I did tell any of the staff who had time to listen tonight but need to tell the world now! Some plant-based menus can be disappointing but this was really moreish. In fact, the sooner I can get back there and have it again, I will. Well done Ladies Mile Catering Team for an excellent meal; terrific vegan menu (wish I'd had space for the pud) and for being ahead of the game. All vegans - run to the Ladies Mile.

The Ladies Mile what a Pub ! Came for a Sunday roast the welcome for my Dad after not coming in for nearly a year was heart warming ! But the Sunday roasts OMG ! They are incredible ! The food is by no stretch of the imagination absolutely fabulous ! Meat so tender it melts in your mouth - incredible roasties and fresh tasty veg and then there are the Yorkies ! Gayle & Paul really know how to run a pub ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And got to meet Princess Nala the newest addition a beautiful puppy Norman you are still the boss !

I booked last minute for birthday meal for my wife and they managed to make up a table for our large family, we all really enjoyed everything about the place differently going back, food was fantastic

Absolutely fabulous Art Déco pub retaining it's wonderful period features; in short an architectural delight. Run by lovely friendly people with superb ale & extensive outdoor space front and rear. Hard to leave!

I've attended a couple of funeral wakes and also had a couple of snack meals here. The food is really good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's on a good bus route and there's a large car park at the front. Certainly worth a visit.

We recently had my son's 30th birthday at the Ladies Mile. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The staff excelled themselves. The venue is situated in a good place. It has enough space to cater for 100 guests. Once you get into the venue and put in your added touches it then starts to take shape. Easy to park onsite and nearby on road. We ordered the food service from the Ladies Mile which was superb. The buffet was put together brilliantly and the food which was laid out for us on the day of the party was absolutely unreal. All our guests were overly impressed by the quality and quantity of the buffet. The staff were on hand throughout to offer support and are an exceptional team. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering to hold a party or event. It certainly ticks all the boxes. A huge thank you to all the staff at the Ladies Mile who made our day extra special.

Popped in unexpectedly for lunch, a halloumi burger is incredible double cheeseburger went down a storm!! and the Panko chicken didn’t last long either!! thoroughly recommend for ladies mile for a great lunch . Bar staff, really friendly and attentive and Gayle as always, the perfect hostess.
