Booked the accommodation for my partner, the room was absolutely appalling, very dirty and not what it looked like on the website

Despite being in the middle of nowhere, they have no facility this weekend to serve breakfast or lunch. The nearest shop is a 45 minute walk, one way! The bookings.com site does say ‘no meal deals’, it didn’t say there wouldn’t be any option to buy any food whatsoever!

Over six I've been waiting for our case to be resolved..Resolver more like a revolver as after many many attempts to get our money back having arrived at midnight in January and the hotel was closed.This was like the film "The shining".Coupled with with this we had the drive to another hotel and pay for more accommodation which we are trying to get refunded to no avail. This has been a terrible experience and the customer services are non exsistant with rude uncaring safe who could not care about you or your monies lost after a poorly managed booking. I will never ever book OYO again its disgusting customer service throughout the company shame on you 😒 Thank you A really disgruntled customer Steve and Christina Tinsley

Stayed here the night before our flight abroad. What a pleasant surprise. Rooms are fab, clean and well equipped. Bar and restaurant lovely . Gorgeous food and lovely service. Reception man and bar staff were lovely people. Breakfast in morning was excellent even though a microwave would be handy just to keep it heated up. Will def be returning here and I would highly recomend

Good clean hotel, good food in restaurant, Staff very efficient and friendly, only pain is OYO , if you need to contact it’s Call Centre based in India, even reception had issues with them. Use Booking. Com far easier even if a few quid more when last minute booking.

Friendly staff, good selection of drinks at the bar. Quick and efficient service and great food! I couldn't ask for anything else

Paid a very reasonable amount for one night with parking and transport to and from Bristol Airport. Average room, average help ourselves breakfast as we were leaving early. Transport to and from airport very responsive and quick. Parked in the car park, which is gravel with some parking on grass. Given the time of year the car did get a few mud splashes and quite a few leaves dropped on it. Given the price I do believe I got what I paid for.

Chose the hotel before a flight because it had what seemed to be a good restaurant. Got there to discover the chef was away so bar snacks and menu instead. Fail. Burgers, hunters chicken, and overpriced steak cooked by the bar staff isn't really OK. Went to The Crown a mile down the road, and I recomend everyone does that.

Aan de buitenkant van dit restaurant zie je nog niet wat een kwaliteit het is. Het hotel en restaurant heeft nieuw management en het is er heerlijk eten en goed vertoeven, we waren met een groep en we waren blij verrast met het eten. Het ontbijt is ook goed, er is een ‘ continental buffet’ en het ‘Engelse ontbijt’ wordt vers gemaakt en heeft ons goed gesmaakt!

Service and food quality truly worth a michealin star. Very creative chef who puts lots of passion into his dishes . Only wish one day his talent would be discover by some passing-by food critic. We definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

We tried the taster menu, all courses were excellent, though possibly a little too much salt in a couple of dishes. Wine also very good. Well paced attentive service.

We only chose to eat in the hotel as we were a little worried about travelling back through the narrowest country lanes in the dark. But we are so glad that we did. I started with the Scallops and my partner had a Strip Of Beef. Both cooked absolutely perfectly and presented beautifully on slates. The strip of beef was served on the most beautiful cauliflower puree that my partner absolutely fell in love with even though he hates cauliflower. The mains came out after a pleasant gap that allowed us to savour our first course and enjoy our glass of wine. I had the fresh gnocchi with green vegetables which was cooked absolutely perfectly. Its very easy to get gnocchi wrong but they were bang on the money with it. My partner had a fillet of salmon which again was cooked perfectly and looked absolutely stunning. We cheated a little and had a side of triple cooked chips each. These were cooked with truffle oil and served with parmesan....who knew?? I normally smother chips in vinegar but this would have ruined these beauties. We're not huge dessert lovers but after the joy of the first two courses we felt it rude not to order something. I cannot eat chocolate so we decided on the Belgian waffle with salted caramel ice cream. The waitress was kind enough to have the chocolate sauce served on the side for my partner. We could not fault the service that we had and the waitress was both helpful and chatty. It added to our evening. and it was nice to see her again at breakfast the following morning. By the way, breakfast is just as good!!

Very nice restaurant at this hotel, offers a good wine list and diverse menu. While the surroundings are a little sterile, the food and service was excellent.

The restaurant is very nice, not very big and seems like an old cellar buy we loved it, the food was very good if a bit expensive, the service was also good so all in all we would be quite happy to eat there again.

No atmosphere, rather like a cafe than a restaurant. Service was terrible. Head chef was missing and food was deplorable. Restaurant manager was obviously embarrassed and we were not charged for the inedible food. Would never visit again.

Good food, nice staff but frankly this was a bit exoensive forvwhat it was. The saving grace was the cheeseboard which had done excellent cheeses and was only a little more than the pudungs.

Great value for a Sunday lunch. Crab cakes pork roast and brownie all tasty..lovely surroundings with waddling ducks and fountain.

High prices for average food only ate there as it was convenient lady guest sat in the corner Working make a lot of mass and colouring in on big sheets of paper not appropriate in a restaurant

Fui con mi marido y mi hija, para un almuerzo en Winford Manor, con ganas de algo similar a la menú sugerido por Groupon es decir el trío de costillas de cordero, allanar de carne, atún, salmón, hígado de pollo y foie gras parfait, salmón ahumado, etc. la idea? Algo que nos hace volver y compartir con la familia y amigos. No, no, no!

Me encanta la variedad de comida de confort a british moderno ... siempre a pie, feliz y lleno! El servicio es bueno, con una gran variedad de vinos y el personal estará encantado de ofrecer sugerencias. Hemos estado aquí un par de veces a través...

We went here for our Wedding Anniversary, the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The lady who served us was friendly and attentive, but not so much as she bothered us. The food was much better than "pub" food, but not too posh, just decent food and it cost us just a little more than the pub down the road. No complaints!

Had a wonderful and very reasonable meal in the Labyrinth Restaurant we had a nice bottle of wine and sat right in the window. The staff bought us home-made bread and olives. My wife had fish cakes which she claims to be the best she has ever had and I had a pate, which was very tasty. From here we had a very generous main course of pork and chicken which we both very much enjoyed. Would defiantly come back and eat again!

Quite a small venue and menu but enjoyed my meal with a colleague. I had ham terrine with picallili and received a huge portion of terrine (3 large pieces) which was very tasty and an incredible portion. Followed by a very nice duck with a 'no problem' change to the published potato accompaniment, washed down with Kozel Czech beer on draft. Table water served without asking and extra bread rolls brought too. Probably couldn't fault what we had.

My husband arranged a Sunday Lunch for 13 couples at the Restaurant at this hotel at the beginning of December after reading favourable TripAdvisor reviews and also meeting with members of the management at Winford Manor who promised good home cooked food using local ingredients. Although we had specified and were guaranteed that the serving of the food would commence at about 12:30pm it was not until after 2pm that any of the main courses arrived. Prior to this we were served at the bar where there was not even any beer on-tap as it had run out the night before. When finally the food arrived, the meat was inedible - most couples took the meat home to feed to their pet dogs! The gravy - which is best described as grey, greasy, watery and flavourless came out 10 minutes into the meal. The fish was barely edible with its heavy coating of white pepper. The vegetables were undercooked, not seasoned and therefore totally bland. After asking if we could speak to the duty manager we learnt that the chef was off sick that day - we said that we were not happy to pay for the meal (beyond the £5 deposit/head we had already had to pay) and he agreed to this immediately, profusely apologising for the quality of the food and the delay which we had experienced. The situation was made worse by the fact that no one had the decency or perhaps gumption to come and explain to us what was going on in the kitchen. We of course understand that sometimes events occur beyond anyone's control but for a professional establishment the communication and overall experience was appalling. Also relying on one person in order to produce an edible meal seems concerning - imagine if it was someone's wedding day which was at stake. The one thing I will say is that the waitresses were lovely and did their best under the circumstances. They too apologised profusely and seemed hugely and genuinely embarrassed by the whole situation. After the lunch I tried to contact the manager for the hotel, she ignored my emails - I am sure that now it is in the public domain there will be some sort of reply...

Friendly staff, very welcoming, comfortable surroundings. It was dark so didn't get to see or enjoy the grounds other reviews mention. Food beautifully presented and tasty. Negative is the quality of the toilets, hand driers you can hear in the lounge, linen napkins and stainless steel bins would just give a polish to this great venue.

Just a lovely friendly restaurant with locally sourced food and lovely views from the garden. Worth mentioning that the staff are attentive, friendly and happy.

Local food well produced and beautifully served (restaurant a bit chilly, but this Spring has been like that anyway!)

Has a really good Sunday lunch here with friends the other weekend. Great food, with generous home-cooked beef, lamb etc and nice selction of vegetables, roasties etc.We'd also warned then that one of our party was gluten free and they'd cooked some special bread rolls for her, which was very much appreciated.Also very nice service and and a terriffic view out over the grounds from the pleasant dining room. Overall, another excellent, good value lunch - highly recommended
