La Strada in City of London, Westminster

Great food (we had pizzas’ and pasta dish) and very friendly and quick service. But to much noise - they should really do something about that… we almost had to shout to one another.

We went to La Strada on the 6th of May - the day of the coronation - because all other restaurants in the neighborhood were full. But what a disaster! Coffee and breakfast was what we needed, and we asked the 'Italian owner' who spoke less Italian than me and I actually do not speak any Italian at all couldn't answer a simple question: Do you use an espresso machine or just a coffee maker. He told us that we could not buy coffee without anything to eat. That was not the question. We wanted coffee and food. Well, we both wanted porched eggs and toasted bread and ordered an espresso and a cappuccino. None of the were made on a espresso machine but at least the espresso was drinkable. The cappuccino was not. Awful taste! We then had our breakfast. The eggs were made in the micro and they were not porched but fried eggs, which were not fried. The bread was not toasted and I had butter on the edge of my plate all the way around. Before leaving I needed to go to the toilet, and I was told to go down to the basement. I went through a door in the restaurant which were open because of an antenna cable. In the kitchen I went straght into the kitchen and had to cross it and around 20 waterpipes to find a toilet. No zink. Had to run back and wash my hands in the other end of the kitchen. Don't ever go to this place. It's a disgrace to a wonderful city!

Really good range of food on the menu and very reasonably priced, there is something for everyone. The quality of food is decent enough and good value for the money. Myself and a friend both had a cheeseburger, chips and a mug of tea each and it came to less than £20 for both of us (in Mayfair). Very friendly staff and service couldn't have been more prompt. Absolutely perfect for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat if you're anywhere near Berkeley Square. Would definitely go back when I'm in London again

Set menu lunch was alright. I think the value is good, if the quality leaves a little to be desired. Staff were nice and we had a view of Tower Bridge, so not bad all in all.

Superbe restaurant avec beaucoup de choix et de qualité. Les serveuses sont très agréables et très peu d’attente entre les plats. L’endroit en lui même est plus que plaisant et très convivial. Je recommande fortement.

While up around London Bridge we called by for dinner. No problem getting a table allthough the restaurant was quite busy. Allthough portrayed as Italian it definitely is not. Menu consists of everything from burgers to chicken and to some pasta etc. Food portions are small and definitely need to order side dishes. It is really just a big old cafe in a very nice location. Food was mediocre but service was attentive. Priced a little above where it should be. Possibly paying for the location but you cant eat that.

Had a truly lovely breakfast there last week and hopefully I will return again very soon. Staff are friendly the menu very comprehensive and considering this is Mayfair the prices are very good. I sat outside which was very nice and found that all in all it is a great venue. The omelette (mushroom) was delicious. I shall hopefully try something else when I return.

Bought a cheese salad bap here today. The server threw the change at me which I could live with but the stale hard bap was a huge disappointment, had to struggle through it as I was so hungry. I was too far away when I got to eat it to go and back and complain. I’m fact I’ll never be back that’s for sure

Piatti deliziosi anche se leggermente rivisitati rispetto alla tradizione italiana. Prezzi un po' alti, ma accettabili vista la posizione e il paesaggio mozzafiato direttamente sul Tower Bridge. Assolutamente consigliato!

Questo è un locale che ti fa veramente pensare di essere a casa ma nello stesso tempo trovi i modi e i costumi prettamente londinesi . Il cibo è buono e sopratutto la pizza .

Kleines, gemütliches Restaurant mit Strassenterrasse. Gute Burger, nette Bedienung - was will man mehr.

What a little gem, just of Berkeley Square Mayfair London. Welcoming staff, comfortable seating where you can people watch away your lunch hour. Good selection of meals, sandwiches and drinks. Very reasonable prices and great tasting food. Thank you La Strada I’ll be back again.

En mi paseo temprano por la mañana, le pregunté al camarero chino si el café estaba abierto mientras él estaba recostado, él respondió que sí, ¡siéntate! Cuando dije que me gustaría solo una taza de té para mi sorpresa, ¡él me ignoró! ! , Le pregunté cuál era su problema? se burló y murmuró algo bajo su respiración! ¡Claramente él quería que yo tomara un desayuno completo o similar! La Strada tiene una comida fantástica, puedo recomendar especialmente el pollo relleno, ¡es delicioso! El ambiente es relajado y propicio para un almuerzo informal de negocios. Fuimos allí ayer, fue excelente. Al final de la comida tomamos un café, que fue el mejor que he probado en mucho tiempo. El precio fue increíblemente competitivo, sin duda volveremos.

En nuestra última noche en Londres, queríamos cenar cerca del Tower Bridge.

Nuestro hijo nos llevó a La Strada en Berkeley Square durante un viaje a Londres, tuvimos dos desayunos de rancheros, mi esposa tenía una papa con ensalada, tres tazas grandes de té y un gran plato de tostadas con mantequilla. todo esto por veinte libras, y en medio de Mayfair. La mejor relación calidad-precio durante todo el día.

Capisco che si tratta di pranzo veloce e il prezzo e buono, i difetti sono principalmente due: La qualità del cibo non è eccelsa e, cosa decisamente riprovevole, nel 2018 non accettano carte di credito. Per pagare sono stato costretto a lasciare il mio collega e andare a cerca un ATM (1 km a piedi da li)

Ristorante situato vicino al London Bridge e Torre di Londra. Il personale è molto cortese ( qualcuno parla anche italiano ), abbiamo preso due ottime caesar salad ad un prezzo giusto. Pranzo gradevole in un ristorante ben curato. Consigliato!

Always have the full (Rancher) breakfast here the morning after the office party. Lovely friendly staff, good service, good food, and cheap. Great mugs of tea - sets you up for the day !

Old school cafe great for English breakfast. Really good quality for price in an outrageously expensive part of town. Not complicated full English with a cuppa. For anything else could be asking for too much. Workers clerks tourists nice mix.

Fuimos a almorzar a La Strada en el South Bank. Estaba muy ocupado, pero no tuvimos ningún problema para conseguir un asiento. No esperamos mucho para nuestra deliciosa comida. Nosotros sólo queríamos picar algo barato para el almuerzo, pero idealmente que estábamos en el centro de Mayfair. Así que fue una agradable sorpresa encontrar La Strada por este carril de poco. Teníamos pescado y patatas fritas y desayuno comida y era muy adecuado. De hecho, cuando uno considera que el precio pagado contra la ubicación, estaba increíblemente buena relación calidad-precio.

Nada extravagante, encontrará una recepcionista y un constructor a su lado y servicio fácil, pero es muy agradable, acogedor y barato relativamente a cualquier en Mayfair. Gran desayuno inglés. Si quieres algo más sofisticado, a unos cien metros del mercado de pastor.

We had breakfast and while the ham was first quality, the eggs were overlooked. This cute location is in a Mayfair alley and was full of customers. Nothing wrong, just underwhelmed.

Vino a strada en dique hoy 19. 3. 17 y tenía una bebida relajante. Incluso mi hijo de 4 años decía lo agradable que era jajaja. Muy tranquilo y unas vistas fantásticas de las principales atracciones de Londres.

Agréablement surpris par la qualité des plats. De bonnes pâtes et pizza mais également de bons menus enfants. Nous étions de passage dans un Hotel proche de La Strada et pour y diner je vous le conseille vivement. Concernant les tarifs, cela reste convenable. Petit bémol : le bruit. Il ristorante si trova in una location suggestiva che permette di vedere tower bridge. Ho preso la pizza e per un italiano abituato ad altri livelli di qualità il cibo però lascia a desiderare... oltre alla poca scelta, fattore comune un po' dappertutto, è la qualità stessa a non lasciare nulla di che. Popped in here after a matinee - Friendly staff and was seated right away. Drinks came quickly with the starters. The main meal was not hot for either of us. We informed the waitress and he spoke with manager who offered to take the cost of the main meals from our bill. Overall food could have been better.

It was the first time I had been here and I went with my mum for lunch, I had the mexican burger with chips which wasnt too bad and my mum had the prawn cocktail sandwich which she was dissapointed and had to send back, overall it was a ok experience but we wont be going back.

The first draw was the location: small tables beneath an awning in a narrow pedestrian street flanked by abundant sycamores. The second draw was the multi-page menu with reasonable prices. A friendly waitress invited us to have a seat. My first menu choice was not available. Making my second choice, she shouted out to someone inside to confirm whether that one was available. At the table next to ours, their 1st and 2nd choices were not available (this was lunchtime, not closing time). The sandwich was on a very stale croissant. Not recommended.

Hanno un menù per intolleranze alimentari ma non sono sicura sulla effettiva preparazione del personale sull'argomento. Bella la vista, vale la pena perché si gode di vetrate immense direttamente sul Tower Bridge. Ottimo per chi ama i panorami ma soffre di vertigini e preferisce evitare e avere una vista più "a misura d'uomo".

Se trata de una cadena de restaurantes (nosotros estuvimos en el que hay detrás del Tower Bridge) bastante correcta. El local bonito y limpio, el servicio amable y atento, con menú infantil (entrante, plato y postre). También dan unos colores a los niños con unos papeles para pintar.La comida es básicamente pasta y pizza. Raciones tirando a grandes. La comida está bien.

Abbiamo deciso con il mio ragazzo di mangiare lì, in quanto un nostro caro amico chef lavorava lì, ma non abbiamo detto a nessuno che fossimo suoi amici e siamo stati trattati benissimo lo stesso! La cosa più entusiasmante é stata la velocità con il quale abbiamo ricevuto le bevande, starter, main e dessert ! Non abbiamo dovuto attendere nemmeno 5 minuti tra una portata e l'altra! Ancora più entusiasmante è stato il cameriere che ci ha servito e una volta finito abbiamo detto che eravamo amici dello chef! Inoltre se dovessi dare un giudizio al cameriere gli darei un bel 10! Ci tornerò molto presto !

Funny that it's part of the same company as Pizza Express yet isn't as good. The rest of the pasta, it's fine I guess. There aren't as many special offers going on here and I never quite caught the bug here like I did at PE. Too doughy?

siamo Andate in questo ristorante in cinque ragazze verso le 10 di sera, ci hanno accolto in maniera molto sgradevole e capendo che eravamo italiane ci hanno detto che bisognava cenare velocemente.La qualità dei piatti e scadente ed una ragazza celiaca ( detto espressamente) le hanno messo nel piatto il pane!!!!!Infine una ragazza ha richiesto il dolce ma non era possibile perché era troppo tardi e doveva mangiarlo velocemente !!! Cameriere molto maleducate, parlavano in dialetto.

its a chain restaurant and not a lot of scope for changes to the menu but we went for pizza and pasta with fish starters and it was good and it wasn't mega expensive. it was busy but service was excellent

Não gostei do atendimento. A comida estava até boa. Não nos disseram que já estavam fechando e mesmo assim fizemos o pedido, mas queriam ir logo embora.

Ultimo dia em em Londres e decidimos experimentar o famoso Fish and Chips, depois de andar um tempo nas ruas e lojas, entramos numa ruazinha cercada de restaurantes e escolhemos esse pra experimentar a iguaria, a atendente estava na porta e falava um pouco rápido, não entendemos bem, mas perguntamos se demoraria, ela disse que em média 20 minutos. Sentamos e ficamos esperando, depois de um tempo ela nos trouxe a conta e em seguida os pratos, e veio um senhor muito simpático, que falava português, e nos informou que deveríamos pagar porque eles estavam fechando o estabelecimento. Nem sei se a comida estava boa, porque fiquei extremamente constrangida em estar comendo e todos os funcionários do local arrumando as bolsas e indo embora. Achei deselegante, desagradável e sem profissionalismo.

They had bigoli alla bolognese on the menu...they're thick spaghetti which I've only had previously in Italy....they were delicious. A decent wine list and very good attentive service by an all-Italian staff. Was decent value too for London. The one I went to was very near St. Paul's.

We visited this restaurant when we were touring near Tower Bridge and the London Eye. It was very busy but we were seated in no time and didn't have to wait long for our food. This is mainly an Italian style place but the food is fresh, fast and flavourful. Have visited some other of the La Strada franchise and have not been disappointed. Can recommend it for all ages.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast on Saturday morning after a night out on the tiles. The usual chains are not of interest, we prefer something with personality as well as good food. La Strada was tucked away down a pedestrian side street between Berkeley Square and Piccadilly, and the perfect place for us. Tasty full English cooked breakfast, very yummy porridge and 2 mugs of tea all for £11. Service was friendly and they kindly switched the heaters on so we could sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the city. Great place!
