Been here plenty of times and it has never disappointed. Went for a meal for my birthday tonight with my partner and my 4 year old. Food was outstanding! Cocktails are always amazing. And the staff always go above and beyond! One in particular who stood out tonight (3/10/24) was Nathan who was so attentive and interacted so much with my little boy. He is a credit to the restaurant.

The food is absolutely gorgeous. The steak is the best steak i have ever had in my life. Even the salad was stunning. 10/10. Great service, staff are lovely and attentive. Cocktails are so nice too.

Never disappoints! My family and I have been coming for many years and continue to return. Staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is better than amazing! The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection and soft, highly reccomend! Thank you La Parrilla!

Came for our birthday meals on Monday, loved the food as always & the baby enjoyed his strawb daq, great service by reada and the young lady a man working too unsure on their names but there always great

Had a lovely evening here. Lovely atmosphere which helped us to instantly relax after a busy week! Service was amazing - always with a smile and very attentive. Food was just delicious! Starters were olives and loaded nachos. The star of the show for us was the amazing chicken in our peri peri chicken main course. Really thick chicken breast which was so juice, tender and full of flavour. Would highly recommend and we will be visiting again very soon.

If I could give this place 3.5 I would. I came here with my family for my birthday and the friendliness of the staff was mixed. Some were great and others seemed like they didn’t want to be there. They do make a fuss on your birthday though which is great fun and made the whole experience worth while. The cocktails are nice but the food wasn’t great, and all of us ended up with indigestion after. The salsa doesn’t seem to be made in house and neither does the guacamole which is quite spicy for some reason. The refried beans aren’t refried and they are quite bland as well. Nothing seems very fresh or authentic. We won’t be in a rush to go back.

Wonderful staff and superb food. We had a big work party and we were made to feel valued and very welcome. Lots of smiles and fun (there were a couple of birthdays on other tables), and a very happy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Just had lovely meal at La Parrilla tonight. Food was spot on and service as always was superb. Definitely the best place to go if you want fantastic food, a great atmosphere and a friendly welcome.

We were a party of 6 who came to celebrate a birthday. From the minute we walked through the door, to when we left, the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. We all had different starters and mains and had no complaints about any of it. The food was hot and tasty. The staff even brought the sombreros out at the end and sang happy birthday to my partner whose birthday we were celebrating. We regularly come to La Parrilla and every time it gets better. We had a lovely evening

First time here we were welcomed by the staff excellent food and service Waitresses all very friendly and the waiter whom I asume was in charge was very pleasant all ways smiling and as it happens I speak Spanish and he did also we got on very well .Would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Mexican food because we certainly did the food was excellent give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised.

We have been visiting this lovely restaurant for many years now. Every time we visit we receive outstanding service from Ridha and his team, fabulous flavoursome food and a wonderful choice of drinks. The restaurant is always busy which is a testament to the lovely atmosphere and the quality of the food and drinks. There is a great choice of food and drinks on the menu. I love the nachos! But there is truly something for everyone. The steaks are better than you can get anywhere else, they are always cooked exactly how you like them. Everything is well seasoned and well presented and the portions are big! My favourite is the King Prawn Fajitas, the prawns are huge! The salad and the other accompaniments really complement the prawns. Great thought and care goes into everything you order. On our last visit we ordered a bottle of prosecco that came with fresh strawberries and raspberries on the side so you could enhance the flavour of your drink if you wished. Having said the portions were big, and for that reason we were full, the salted caramel cheesecake was surprisingly easy to eat! It was absolutely delicious! The decoration of the restaurant and the music add to the lovely atmosphere, I really feel like I’m on holiday when I'm here. I’m very much looking forward to my next visit.

I love coming here when I'm down from Scotland, food is always delicious and well presented, staff are amazing and so helpful and attententive, a must try if your in Waterloo! My niece had the tbone steak tonight and although we couldn't eat all our dinner, the staff put it all in a doggy bag for us to take home :)

Never lets us down. Never had a bad meal here. Food always on point. Service quick and friendly. My fave local food place. Give it a try.

Great atmosphere and service was superb

Had a brilliant night celebrating my sister's 60th birthday and my daughters. The staff were attentive and sangria flowed along with the chat, laughs and food. As we were there for birthday celebrations, the girls were treated to birthday cake(cheesecake) topped with a large sparkler, hats, music and singing waiters. A fabulous night out with the girls.

Absolutely loved the food, the Argentina steak is great, and the beef nachos are the best I've had, staff are very good and facilities clean.

Me and my friend had a meal in this place tonight it was so expensive menu on line about 10 years out of date be aware it will cost you a fortune prices 3x as much and the food only mediocre will never be going back there again there are other lovely restaurants to go to. Don't go.

Great bottomless brunch. You can have any cocktails from a large menu and the service is spot on. Good portions of food and good choice. Good value and lots of fun. Sombreros for selfies!

We attended last night for dinner with my family service was excellent staff was so lovely and welcoming nothink was to much… especially Mohammed who is new he was amazing specially with my children , would highly recommend this restaurant will be back xx

Lovely visit to La Parrilla, food was bang on, and big portions too, couldn't finish it and they kindly offered to box it up to go. Lovely service, friendly and helpful, nice vibe. Well worth a visit.

Great food especially the early bird menu

Our first time tonight.. food look warm, Quite bland, even tho I asked for more spicy.. plenty on our plates though..service slow.. one off tonight, won’t eat here next time.. sorry..

Myself and a few friends went here for an early Christmas evening meal that was different. I decided on the sirloin steak with potato wedges, salad and peppercorn sauce. Cooked to perfection and served by smiling staff. A great evening out.

We been going here for years the staff are amazing our autistic son loves it here and reader knows him so well we do t even have to tell him our order he knows exactly what we like they make us so welcome and we feel so comfortable dining here xx

Absolutely beautiful!! Staff are amazing ,food is divine.Sweet chilli chicken skewers ,delicious,quesadillas,yum…cocktails really good. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a treat,as you are really spoiled the minute you go in.

Great food and great service as always.

Greeted warmly at the door and showed to a table. The place was full and it had a noisy vibrant atmosphere (we'd never been here before so didn't know what to expect!). Very friendly and attentive staff..so much so that when we were taking a group photo some sombreros were plonked on our heads and the waiter took some great photos for us! Food was delicious - we ordered chimichanga and steak and chicken fajitas. Overall we really enjoyed the food and service.

Will start by saying how hospitable the staff were and how good it was to offer a cheesecake as we had a group birthday. Overall however I’d say the food was only okay and not really authentic. Considering it is a Mexican restaurant, I requested my food to be very spicy so was expecting that and I asked for only a little sour cream on the food. So I was a little disappointed when receiving my food that it tasted rather under seasoned and I didn’t really taste any spice at all, the salsa although requested hot tasted like a mild one. The food had what I’d say is excessive sour cream on top which made eating the burrito particularly more difficult. Considering prior to the meal also I saw someone bringing a tub of what looked like the cooked rice I had I wasn’t surprised to find that felt very dry and bland. Despite quite a few flaws there were good points such as the cocktails we tried, wedges, guac and meatballs. As mentioned despite the food being under seasoned and not spicy it was still cooked properly in the taco and burrito. Overall I’d say there are better restaurant options in the area for the price but this place is somewhere which is maybe worth a try for someone if you don’t mind that the food is more of an imitation of Mexican food. Mainly due to the atmosphere and staff friendliness/ hospitality.

Mexican restaurant on Bold Street. I ate here in 2019 and have been meaning to try it again since. I don’t really like Bold Street that much - too brash, too chaotic - but since I was at the Adelphi today I thought I’d give this place another go. It was ok. Not much to say other than that. Good choice of food but nothing special - chimichanga was good. Presentation weird. Big plate, lots of space. Service was ok, food arrived quickly. Doesn’t do desserts. A choice has been made I guess. Shame though. I’m sure I remembered this as being better on 2019. Oh well. We live and learn. In its favour, the overall cost was very low, so good value for money.

My FAVOURITE Mexican. It never disappoints. I always get the peri peri chicken and ask for chips instead of wedges it is unreal. The steaks are also amazing. The staff are lovely and polite and always make a fuss when it’s someone’s birthday. Booking it this year for brunch for my birthday. Love this place ❤️

One of my favourite places to go eat, always a great atmosphere, welcoming floor staff and delicious food. Ivano was especially service focused and had a wonderful attitude towards his work.

Nice food, great staff, decent price, lively place. As a visitor you never know where to eat but this place was full so decided to give it ago. Went two nights running in the end.

I celebrated my birthday here last week and it was fantastic 🙌 Food portions were a great size. Drinks flowed And they even sang Happy birthday with a slice of cheese cake and a pyrotechnic!! Kids enjoyed it.

I came with my two gran daughters , we had a fabulous 3 course meal. We have said this is our restaurant we will come to for Glama and Glamdaughters afternoon out. Thank you brilliant service, fantastic waiters . Delicious food 😋 highly recommend. 😋

Amazing food and cocktails! My husband and I done a bottomless brunch here and it was one of the best we've been to.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are fantastic, so friendly, helpful and accomodating. The food is beautiful, we have been going for years and have never had a bad meal / dish or experience. Our 2 daughters ( 3yrs & 6ys) love it as well, they eat really well here and love the atmosphere of the restaurant.
