Furusato Bar &grill in Sefton

Really surprised. We had a lovely meal here..there were some lovely vegetarian options, whilst the soft shell crab and calamari were good. The home made vermicelli spring rolls (specials menu) were excellent. The cauliflower bites were the standout dish. I was really impressed with the staff who were very attentive and friendly, making this a really enjoyable visit.

Our 2nd visit on 1.4.24 confirming this as now our favourite place to eat and drink. Food is 100% delicious and staff lovely. So lucky to have close to home.

Fabulous food! Excellent service! Lovely decor and atmosphere. They even do a quiz on a Monday night. Would recommend and will be returning here soon.

I cannot fault Furasato after our midweek visit. The food was excellent, the portions weren't small either and we all enjoyed starters and mains, but sadly had no room for puddings! The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was attentive. We had the many reviews and been tempted to try this place. We will definitely be back.

Some of the best wings I've had, but the sauce definitely needs more gochujang. The stuffing isn't nice at all, feel as though it's deep fried!? The roast itself was nice, generous serving of beef. Beer selection is great with Asahi, Cruzacampo and Neck Oil

To accompany your meal, don't miss the Salt & Pepper Loaded Fries. They were a delightful side dish, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the meal. And, of course, for dessert, the Warm Chocolate Chip & Peanut Cookie was a sweet and satisfying way to end the evening. What makes Furusato even more appealing is the reasonable pricing, considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Furusato Bar & Grill to anyone in search of a new dining destination. I certainly plan on returning soon to savor their delicious offerings once again.

Unreal food . Best ive had by far Im quite a fussy eater but this restaurant was out of this world. I made a comment about how squid was chewy then was presented with a dish . Believe me it was amazing! Then to be told it was squid ! These guys can cook !!! 10/10

Sat there for 20 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted a drink, ordered ribeye steak medium came very rare so obviously cant cook a steak and had loads of fat in and when asking for another drink server's attitude was terrible, they acted like we wasnt there and we definitely wont be back

We loved this place, we only heard about it by watching a tiktok by scousegettogormet when he visited and really rated it, there are also lots of gluten free options which was a winner for me, we where greeted by a lovely member of staff and taken to our table straight away, the drinks and food came quickly after ordering, and the food was amazing, lots of options and a bit different to the normal, not the cheapest place you could eat but the quality of the food defo warrants the cost, not frozen reheated rubbish but freshly cooked to order, I was a bit dissapointed that we couldn't have a booth as I would have enjoyed my experience more had we been allowed to but I did understand they probably had bookings for bigger groups that would need them and it was a Saturday night, I didn't go full stars for food only because the desert menu wasn't very exciting for us gluten free customers, I feel icecream and sorbet is just a cop out when you can get lots of lovely deserts which are gluten free, defo felt like I was missing out, and couldn't give full stars for service as we did spend alot of time trying to get staff attention to order drinks, desert and to pay, and no one came over as in most restaurant to ask was everything okay, this is standard in most too restaurant, I don't like waitresses fussing over us every five min but just checking in every now and again would have been appreciated, that said these where only very small gripes and didnt effect our experience and wouldnt effect our decision on whether to come back, we loved loved loved it the issues we had where tiny and easily rectified

Food was nice....very dark restaurant - felt like a bar. The service was poor - we had to ask for specials menu....we weren't asked if we would like more drinks/ coffee/ desserts... we were the only ones in there. It felt like we were an inconvenience.

The food and staff were all amazing, nice decor but the music is so loud and not comfortable to listen to you end up shouting across the table. Sorry if you have been 5 stars for better music choice

Visited for birthday celebrations. Food was delicious; service a little slow, and there was a lovely girly singing but WAY too loud for a small establishment. Conversation was impossible, sadly.

Loved every part of the Furusato experience. Took 10 people along and had two booths towards the rear of the restaurant right in view of the kitchen. The food was lovely and the Korean chicken wings were phenomenal!

Been here a few times now and the food is always excellent , nice place but shame about the TV's being on for football (Saturday night ) but i suppose you have to cater for everyone . A great asset to Maghull's nightlife.

Bustling atmosphere with a varied mix of clientele coupled excellent food and drink options. Service was prompt and friendly despite how busy the place was. Food was excellent and is a credit to the chefs.

Wow what an experience. Service, food, drinks and atmosphere. You have smashed how to run a restaurant. I had Lamb shoulder for main looked tiny. Filled me up. My daughter had katshu chicken lovely and portion massive.

Atmosphere is dead but I went early. I could guess its busier at later times. Food is amazing I went during the early bird menu great price. Service was very professional.

Been here a few times and can honestly say it’s never a let down. I’d find it hard for anyone to say they don’t like the food here it’s better than any restaurant Iv been too. Right on the doorstep. About time out of date maghull has something to put on the map. Most restaurants are a let down to me and I wouldn’t say I’m fussy either. But only ever want to eat here now 😂👏🏼👏🏼👌🏼

On entering, attentive welcome, warm ambience and nicely served first drinks at a bar table. We chose our food but got to say a little bit dissapointed as I ordered a Katsu Curry and didn't expect to have something that resembled a cross between K.F.C with very nicely cooked rice and Katsu Curry sauce on the side - didn't expect two breaded fried whole chicken breast as I like my chicken roughly diced with peppers ect in the Curry sauce - my husband had udon noodles which was tasty but would like a choice of a thinner noodle. Prices good, nice wine and excellent staff! Sticky tables need attention - don't think through lack of cleaning - maybe bad product for cleaning used or a bad varnish job. Yours, constructive criticism.

3 of us went on a Wednesday night from a recommendation from one of my customers. Was not very busy so got a table no problem service was quite good food was served reasonably quickly and all food was lovely.we ordered about 9 small plates and was great as there was mainly 3 of everything. All 3 or us said we would go back.

Wanted to try Furusato for a while and really glad we did, it did not disappoint. Incredible food and impeccable service. We ordered the Chicken Katsu and the Tarka Dhal and both dishes were outstanding. Gave some to my 9 month old to try and he was obsessed, unsure how I’ll create that at home for him! The place had a nice atmosphere too. Will definitely return in a larger group. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous food and excellent service, the atmosphere is great and the restaurant spotless. The sea bass was incredible as was everything else we tried on the menu. Even my old fashioned cocktail was made with my favourite makers mark. Thanks very much for a great evening see you soon.

My wife and I went for a meal at Furusato. I must say it was most enjoyable. We ordered small plates(7) & the food was lovely. Waitresses were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed, a most pleasant evening 👍
