Amazing food!! Tastiest wings around, and the house sauce.... sublime!

Visited Furasato Bar and Grill on a Tuesday with two friends—really enjoyed it. We shared a mix of starters to try more of the menu and split a main. Most dishes are fairly priced, though a couple items felt a bit steep (£8.25 for one bao bun). That said, the food was great—highly recommend the mushroom starter, burger, and wings.

Lovely restraunt in Maghull, Liverpool. Went for wing Wednesday (after 5pm) The service was great nice and friendly. The wing challenge is £25 for all you can eat for 90mins. There are 6 flavours to choose from (I think these change over the weeks) you get 5 wings in a potion once you've eaten then you get another 5 of whatever flavour you pick. The wings are huge and we'll cooked and the dressings are lovely. We managed 22 and 29 before tapping out (the record is 61) Overall a great treat and bit of fun at a great price. If you like wings its the place to go. Book as it gets busy.

Me and my wife visited last night and we loved everything, service, speed but mainly the food. Duck loaded fries, ribs, chicken skewers, salt an pepper fries are 10/10 ⭐ Cant wait to go again an try what we couldn't fit in this time around.

Hoi Sin Duck Bao & Sui Mai to start followed by Thai Penang chicken curry, chicken katsu mains. We’ve not been here before but all the dishes were delicious. Will definitely visit again as it’s on our doorstep.

We went for the Sunday roast which was absolutely beautiful ,then had the white chocolate cheese cake which went down a treat. Thank you to the lovely staff for the service. Will definitely go again xxx

Popped in for lunch and had loads of the small plates and the brownie for dessert, it was absolutely delicious. Food was beautifully presented, tasty, service was friendly and great. Highly recommended and I hope to return!

Platos pequeños y servicio fabuloso. Definitivamente pedir las alitas de pollo coreano que son especiales. También tenía el perchero de costillas que se cayó del hueso. El deslizador de carne era muy bueno. El camarero Vladimir era genial, muy amable y muy buen servicio. El postre especial mille - feuille fue uno de los mejores que he comido. Sin duda reservar ya que el lugar estaba totalmente reservado en la noche del viernes.

So thought I'd go and have a go at wing Wednesday, thinking I'd smash the record, turns out it's harder than you think, even if I was given more time than the 90 mins I wouldn't even have done it! Still proper good wings and stick to the OG flavour its the best

I’ll start by saying the waitresses were so lovely, however please don’t think to come here to do the wings Wednesday. You will just get scammed. It’s £25 pp for and hour and a half and honestly 40 mins of that was waiting for your next order of chicken to come out. The people on the leaderboard 100% had more time than what’s given to everyone else. I saw other tables aswell complain how the time for your wings to come out just eats away all the time you have there. I have been to other wings Wednesday with a time limit however I never felt like I had to rush, I could actually talk and enjoy my food instead of rushing so I could get my next order through. Never again will I come back here :(

So, I came here last week, and it was so (very, very) good that I promised myself I'd come back when I had more time to test Chef Jake. And test him I did 😮 Got here fifteen minutes before they opened, but that didn't faze anyone in the slightest. Nice young chap named Vladimir opened the place up for me, so I told him privately what I wanted to do, and then let him choose three starter plates for me. That took everyone out of their comfort zone, but WOW, what a selection he came up with. Ordinarily I would've chosen the tried and the tested, but today, I felt adventurous, and tucked into some delicious Crispy Fried Ham Hock with pineapple atchar and chilli caramel vinegar. Korean Cauliflower Bites with gochujang and sriracha mayo, sesame and spring onion. And the Char Sui Glazed Baby Back Ribs with pickled onion, spring onion and sesame seeds. And just like last week, they were better than anything I tasted on Yaowarat Road. Truly scrumptious, with just the perfect blend of the spicy and the sweet. The surprise of the day were the Cauliflower Bites, far and away superior to any boiled ones I rattled up on Christmas Day. And the Crispy Fried Ham Hock tasted amazing dipped in the chilli caramel vinegar. But my favourites were the Char Sui Glazed Baby Back Ribs, because it's so easy to get these wrong (and I've had enough dried out rubbery ribs in the past to realize that this chef knows how to get them so moist they almost fall off the bone). They were amazing. Three dishes I may never have tried before but oh so glad Vladimir pointed me in the right direction. But the whole crew were amazing, considering I'd interrupted them before they'd even started. Young James (who served me) looked almost as excited as me (he really, REALLY wanted me to enjoy my Furusato experience). And I did. So much so that I told Chef Jake to his face ("five stars young fella, five stars PLUS because he didn't realize he was being tested"). Which means he treats all his customers with this kind of respect. And I admire Furusato all the more for that. I don't think young Lauren quite knew what to make of it when she cleared my plates away (I very nearly licked the Korean sauce straight off the plate it was that good) but the whole experience was magnificent. I plan on going back next week to start on the main course menu 🥰 You should pop in and try it. Without doubt the best Pan Asian Restaurant in town. Definitely FIVE STAR PLUS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(+)

Attended for our anniversary. Not a big establishment but a really nice intricate atmosphere. Food was wonderfully presented with an array of tastes to satisfy anyone’s palette. Service was great too, very attentive and on point. Quite rare to find places like this nowadays. Keep up the good service. It’s obvious this business is run by someone who is passionate about what they do. We’ll be returning.

I'd heard a lot of good things about this place, so I popped in today to see if it's as good as they say. And I'm very happy to report "it's even better than their best reviews". I tried some delicious Sui Mai Dumplings and a few simple Chicken Satay Skewers which would've got five stars in Yeowarat Road, never mind sunny Maghull. So I'll be going back next week to test Head Chef Jake and Super Sous Chef Sam, because I've never known any chef get those Sui Mai so perfect twice in a row. They were spectacular. And as it turns out, hostess Chloe is also an excellent photographer (check out the pics she took below). I'll give Furasato my FIVE STAR (PLUS) RATING, and I'll make it my new favourite place in town. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(+) #PERFECT #ABSOLUTELYPERFECT

Great place but don’t go there during peak hours for the chicken wing challenge you don’t get served fast enough. We hit 30 wings and the table next to us hit 45. We struggled to get served at points had to stand up to get attention to get more service, just avoid being stuck in the corner. I questioned the manager and he said “don’t come here during peak hours” kinda strange as the table we sat next to has so much more service, great food but manager handled things poorly

Had a lovely time the food gorgeous, some was expensive think it was £35 btl Prosecco passed on that got a glass of wine instead £8 , go back again even so , as you can order small plates . Which ideal

Just had a dinner in Furusato with my family, and it’s perfect again 👌 New special menu, every time surprising 👌 fish and pasta was amazing 🤩 Customer service amazing , professional service was from Vladimir , thank you 👌

We had the steak and wine offer of two steaks and a bottle of wine, the steak was cooked to perfection just as we requested. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will defiantly return next time we are the area.

Really good food place and atmosphere. A group of 17 where very well looked after.

First time eating here despite living locally, and wow, we will definitely be back. The food was quite simply, gorgeous. We opted to share 5 starters rather than have a main meal and chose, cispy squid, siu mai, Korean chicken wings, baby back ribs and salt and pepper loaded fries. The ribs were especially stand out and the meat just melted in the mouth. Others in our party chose the Katsu Curry and said that was delicious and a very generous porton. There were 11 in our party and Chloe was an excellent host/server. 10/10 from us.

Food was Brilliant as always. Staff were super friendly. Another lovely experience at Fursato. We will be back again very soon.

We enjoyed a lovely meal last night; the staff were excellent. However, the evening was spoiled by the restaurant's chilly temperature. We requested that the heating be increased, but were informed it already was at its maximum and that the restaurant unfortunately tends to get quite cold, possibly due to the kitchen staff leaving the back door open. When I am spending nearly £200, it is disappointing to eat whilst having a freezing feet and hands and leave feeling cold and we only warmed up once we were home.

We decided to try somewhere new for our date night and I’m so happy we did! The atmosphere was wonderful and I can honestly say this place has the best steak I’ve ever eaten!

Not the first time visiting and definitely not the last. Attended for a birthday and wasn’t disappointed by the food and the service

WOW comenzó como entregas en Covid y luego progresó al restaurante que ahora tienen! Es mi ir a un lugar en Maghull si solo quieres una comida o un montón de gente para una ocasión, tenía nuestras hijas 30 allí tan complaciente! He estado aquí tantas veces y nunca me aburro siempre hay una cosa nueva furtiva añadida al menú que busco, esta vez para mí fue el deslizador 😋 no decepcionó! Dale una oportunidad pero RESERVA para no decepcionarte 👍🏻 xx

Jueves por la noche fantástica relación calidad-precio 2 hermosos filetes de 12 onzas y una buena botella de vino por £ 55 qué ganga puedo decir que porque no era un filete de cuchara fue uno de los mejores que he tenido y la salsa de mantequilla de ajo era para morirse por no extrañar las críticas son tan buenas sin duda volver gracias por tanta calidad necesaria en Maghull 5 estrellas todo el camino 😀

The food was incredible and staff were so attentive. Would highly recommend. It's nice to have somewhere to go locally without travelling into Liverpool.

The menu is simply one page. Nothing confusing, no pretending to be flash. Staff understand the menu and can easily explain or recommend if you need help. Our meal began with Satay chicken skewers. Wow, excellent flavour and not warmed up precooked junk. I'd certainly have this again. Mains of Panko Chicken & Thai Penang Curry. Yet again, great food and filled with flavour. The description is nice and clear with the staff giving you full detail if you want it. Staff are equally as good as the food, being there when you want, in the background when you don't. Furusato allows time between courses if you want to digest the starters before mains are delivered. Nice touch, when too many restaurants want to get you fed and out as fast as you can chew. I'd recommend Furusato for food, drink, ambience and comfort.

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and I must say it’s the best recommendation I’ve had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The owners wife is also very friendly and always has a smile on her face! Hats off to the chef/owner, he has created some incredible dishes which are to die for. I will definitely come back!!

We were a party of 7 and had arranged to meet up with friends from New Zealand who had been impressed with the Furusato last time they were in the UK. We had booked a table for lunch time. We were greeted by a very friendly member of the staff and shown straight to our table. Glad we booked because the restaurant turned out to be quite busy. We ordered drinks and perused the menu. We all settled on the 3 dishes for £20 lunchtime option, which meant that we virtually had every dish available. The portions supplied were more than ample and each item was beautifully prepared and presented. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and a great get together for us all. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this restaurant !

Love it. Best Korean chicken wings. Creature of habit as I always order them and the udon noodles. I LOVE the kids menu and the fact it has a variety of options that aren’t just your usual stuff like chicken nuggets and chips.

Service was just alright. The food wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. Some dishes were a bit bland, while others were decent. The service was fine, nothing special. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re not looking for anything extraordinary.

Vlad & Jamie served us front of house Vladimir was the nicest host very informative and knowledgeable about the food and wine to match, Jamie served us impeccably. The food was delicious and seriously the best I’ve had in Liverpool the tempura crab starter followed by the Thai Yellow Monkfish Cheek Curry was so delicately put together it was simply a perfect combination I’d say the chef here certainly has honed his skills at one of the top end of the restaurant trade! My wife enjoyed for starter the crispy fried ham hock which she enjoyed very much followed by the special lamb rump in a lovely sauce with crushed potatoes. Accompanied by a beautiful Chardonnay. I’ll put it this way there was none left a 10/10 for our 11 wedding anniversary. Not to be missed this place is of the scale on all fronts. Be back soon!

Often pop in for a drink and service good and food smells lovely so we booked for a Wednesday night to see for ourselves. Unfortunately was not worth the vist bill was 70 which was OK for 2 people we had 4 drinks ( 2 each) alcoholic and mixer, but food was not good we ordered the small plates to try different things but all of it tasted over spiced and seem to have same after taste. The calamari was rubbery and mayonnaise over powered with vinegar, the loaded fries were clearly oven or microwaved chips totally tasteless, duck was bland and tasted cheep, the katsu chicken was just boring full of spice not much else, sui mi's were OK to be fair but the soft crab was a joke looked awful just dried up breadcrumbs hardly no crab , and definitely was missing mango tried a bit left rest considering when table cleared fries and crab were left no one asked if meal was OK, did mention chewy calamari which we did get an apology for but better to have something we could eat rest was awful. Louise served us and seemed nice but manager and rest of the staff seemed not bothered, although manager very friendly with regulars. Loved it when the floor got swept and emptied into a bin in front of us while eating maybe move the bin or wait until customers have at least finished the meal. Very over priced which is such a shame as we are local and would use regularly but think it will be used as drinks not food such a shame. The rest of the staff need to take lessons from Louise on serving customers.

Another absolutely fantastic meal at Furusato! Came with the family for my wife’s birthday, kids were really welcomed by friendly staff, and the food was delicious (as always).

Fantastic venue and the third time I’ve been. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, for example I asked if I could change the rocket salad for Asian chopped salad and it was fine. As usual our food was next level fantastic and the steak cooked perfectly.

Amazing food, lovely people. I think we've found a new favourite place to go. The set menu has enough choices that I was hard pressed to choose what I actually wanted.

Been a few times with groups, couples, friends. The service is great and it’s a lovely lively atmosphere. The decor is really nice to sit in. The food is always brilliant and the cocktails are a perfect way to make the night special. A real gem.

Really surprised. We had a lovely meal here..there were some lovely vegetarian options, whilst the soft shell crab and calamari were good. The home made vermicelli spring rolls (specials menu) were excellent. The cauliflower bites were the standout dish. I was really impressed with the staff who were very attentive and friendly, making this a really enjoyable visit.

Absolute fave of ours. Celebrating my birthday and Furusato never fails us. BEST Sunday dinner ever! Crispy Chilli Dusted Squid to die for and the Roast Topside was sublime. I cannot fault Furasato after our midweek visit. The food was excellent, the portions weren't small either and we all enjoyed starters and mains, but sadly had no room for puddings! The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was attentive. We had the many reviews and been tempted to try this place. We will definitely be back.

Some of the best wings I've had, but the sauce definitely needs more gochujang. The stuffing isn't nice at all, feel as though it's deep fried!? The roast itself was nice, generous serving of beef. Beer selection is great with Asahi, Cruzacampo and Neck Oil

Unreal food . Best ive had by far Im quite a fussy eater but this restaurant was out of this world. I made a comment about how squid was chewy then was presented with a dish . Believe me it was amazing! Then to be told it was squid ! These guys can cook !!! 10/10

Sat there for 20 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted a drink, ordered ribeye steak medium came very rare so obviously cant cook a steak and had loads of fat in and when asking for another drink server's attitude was terrible, they acted like we wasnt there and we definitely wont be back
