LA Fried Chicken Southbourne in Bournemouth

Absolutely awful kebab £13.50 for a mixed kebab. The lamb doner was lamb chewy gristle. Couldn't eat it. And the rest of the meat was cold. Avoid like the plague it was not worth the money.

The chicken fell through the bottom of the box, scalding my foot. Then the chips fell through the bottom of their box too. The chicken had as much coating as a mangy cur that's been left to worry its remaining fur. The meat was soggy, insipid, and tasted how raw chicken looks. Although I thought it was technically cooked at the time I ate one and a bit of the ten piece portion I was later violently sick. It seems it was not properly cooked, despite being undeniably hot. The chips were bland and wan. Perhaps they had been potatoes once, but any flavour had been carefully removed for the ultimate anodyne experience. Seasoning has been banned by the establishment's management for anywhere within a mile of their influence. The delivery driver was nice and polite, and arrived quickly. Maybe too quickly, perhaps if LA Fried Chicken had allowed themselves to take another 5-10 minutes they could have produced something that wasn't the worst meal we've ever had the displeasure of receiving via Just Eat.

The pizzas arrived and they were not thin base as ordered and one had pepperoni on it and should have been vegetarian. Called to complain and he said they were thin base but would repeat the order and it would be a while to wait. The repeat order arrived about half a hour later but they were still thick and very stodgy and the peppers weren’t cooked either they were more crunchy than the base!! However the chips were good and very hot. I ended up putting 4 pizzas in my bin which is against my principles but they were not nice and we had to wait a long time for them. Usually very nice but this time the chef didn’t know how to make a thin crust pizza!!!

I highly recommend La Fried Chicken; the food has improved with the new owners, the prices are reasonable, and there are numerous family-friendly promotions. This is one of my kebab :) delicious

Shocking !!!!!! Ordered a takeaway no knock at door called back they were rude !!!! Said delivery was reordered mo show !!!! Phoned again they were rude and said another half hour gave up !!!!!!!

Very rare that I complain or right a review but after two incorrectly delivered meals and poor customer service I thought I should. Under previous ownership this take away was superb and in 19 years I had one bad kebab and it was resolved immediately. These new owners don’t care about customers and refuse to talk to customers hiding behind their staff. I may have been at fault the first time because I didn’t complain and just scrapped off what I don’t like. The second time both kebabs were delivered wrong, it was late and I phoned up to complain. They offered to replace the food in about 30 minutes. I call back thirty seconds later to say don’t worry it was late and my wife would be past being hungry and they said don’t worry we will sort you out next time. I phoned up to place my order and after two incorrect orders I got offered free chips, I explained it was unacceptable but the owner got a member of staff to keep fobbing me off. They then accused me of just wanting a free meal and why should they replace a meal that I kept. They tried to explain the cost of goods, transport and staff as the reason I would only getting a portion of fries as recompense for two incorrect orders. Shocking customer service and repeated incorrect orders. I won’t be back…..

First delivery & takeaway from here for over a year. Had hoped it might have improved., but sadly not. We specifically asked for NO CHILLIES cos of Allergies!! We ordered 1 Medium Donna Kebab with Salad & Coleslaw. 1 Medium Donna Kebab with separate salad, Coleslaw & onion. We got NO ONION instead we got CHILLIES. So the Salad had to be binned. 4 pieces of Chicken & Chips. Extra portion of Chips. All the Hot food had to be reheated because it was cold. The chicken although cooked was cold in the middle. Not happy....

Ordered chicken and asked for legs only but out of 5 only got one, the barbeque beans were mostly liquid but the worst item was the sweetcorn which smelled awful and was obviously old and rotten. I didn't complain as it was very late and they were closing but needless to say, I value my health too much to return.

Food ordered for 6 of us for delivery. Amazing fresh hot food (although far to much raw onion on the shish) but that is our only complaint. Order confirmation gave delivery time as an hour but food arrived in 15 minutes to our door. Fantastic - especially on a Saturday night!! Will definitely continue to use 👍

This evening I placed an order for delivery at 18.26. My Order consisted of 1 portion of ribs 4 pieces of chicken & chips 1 medium Donna Kebabs 1 portion of chips. Total £21.20. This balance i paid by card in full over the phone & before the call ended i already had proof of payment from my bank. I was told delivery would be 45mins to 1hr. After 1hr I called to ask where my delivery was & got told its on its way. It EVENTUALLY arrived 1hr 18mins from after I placed my order. Not only was the driver extremely rude, turned up got out of his car, made a phone call & carried on his conversation whilst delivering my order. He totally ignored me the customer. On opening & serving the food it was FREEZING COLD & had to be re heated. Yuk Then about 30mins later he comes back banging on the door saying that the takeaway shop was saying it hadn't been paid & THREATENING me with the police. I told him to call them as I had nothing to lose. I called the takeaway shop back asking why they had sent this obnoxious, rude & arrogant person. At that time they were shouting at this man on his phone. I told them I would call the police on their behalf if they wished & advised them I would NEVER order from them again. Appalling service. Rude staff. Rude, Arrogant & Obnoxious driver. Such a shame as we never had any issues like this with the Previous owners. Would I recommend this place? NEVER
