La Cave in Hammersmith and Fulham

The manager (the short one with the glasses) is blatantly racist. Not only can you tell by his behaviour from how he treated us, but a staff member told us that they heard him make a derogatory comment about black people. But he's happy to make money from people of colour. Disgraceful that this still happens in this day and age, with all the awareness of equality! Shame on him. On top of this, the stafff were running down another member of staff out loud in front of us customers. That was in very bad taste, and not professional or loyal.

This is place is great discovery and ticks all the boxes. Delicious coffee, happy atmosphere, dog friendly and most of all excellent service. Everyone working here is very thoughtful towards the customers.

The cafe itself has a nice vibe, good coffee but no marks for the dry cakes on offer. Staff are friendly on the surface, good range of customers in there, but there is definitely a vibe they talk more at length to the rich middle class people.

Es un lugar agradable con un buen café, es una pena que haya un personal muy ruidoso allí. La música también suele ser demasiado alta. Si se sienta a tomar un café, todo lo que escucha es que el personal habla en voz alta entre sí y con los clientes que ingresan. Es una pena porque este lugar estaría mucho más ocupado si el servicio fuera más discreto y más uniforme. Iría allí más a menudo si el ambiente fuera un poco más agradable.

Ottima colazione, brioche di ottima qualità. Personale gentile con grande partecipazione italiana. Locale molto accogliente e arredato con gusto.

The cafe looks quite nice both inside and outside and when I saw the renowned 'La Marzocco' coffee machine I thought it was a good moment to get an espresso. Service was quick and polite although I literally couldn't drink the espresso - a mixture of bitter and burnt flavour. Can't believe I paid more than £2 for it!

I’m eating croissants but these are not ordinary croissants; these are fresher than fresh, light and flaky and the bits are all down my top. This is the way it should be. Never disappointed by La Cave’s pastries. Bravo Justin, Stefano and co. Service with a smile every time.

I was in London recently for a week and living in Hammersmith. I visited the cafe twice daily for coffee and some breakfast/snacks. A wonderfully warm place filled with friendly local people and excellent staff. Especially liked Stefano, the Italian barista, and his charming helpful and warm personality. My best to him. I shall return to the cafe when in London again.

We had breakfast here every morning, they have a nice selection of good sweets. Also, the croque monsieur is tasty. The staff is nice and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Perfect for a pleasant morning.

Super ingerichte locatie. Eigenlijk wijnbar maar met fantastische ontbijtmogelijkheden. Genoten van de heerlijke porridge en almond croissant. Bediening ontzettend vriendelijk. Echt de moeite waard. Heerlijk begin van de dag.

The cafe is relaxing, with jazzy background music, and the coffee is good, but the service is patchy. There is one member of staff that is quite loud, in your face and not so nice with customers, and that detracts from the atmosphere of the cafe. If you sit inside the cafe, all you hear is this person. It's a shame for a nice place to be dragged down by service and by staff who do not make customers feel welcome.

Fresh orange juice like no other, coffee to die for, friendly service and a wonderfully diverse range of customers. Even the children and infants are happy when they come in here. Its just lovely and one of the reasons we stay in Hammersmith

There is a wide selection of great bars, pus and restuarants in GHammersmith. No shortage of good food and choice.

Sin lugar a dudas, es un sitio ideal y muy recomendable para empezar con fuerzas cada día. El café es de muy buena calidad, igual que su bollería; en especial los Croissants. También tienen una tienda donde tienen productos españoles de primerísima calidad como conservas Ortiz, embutidos ibéricos o los mejores vinos de nuestras diferentes regiones. Una maravilla de sitio.

I love coming in here every morning. The staff are always smiling and it's a nice start to my morning. The coffee is delicious as well. It has a great brunch/breakfast/ lunch every day as well.
