Havelock Tavern in Hammersmith and Fulham

Estaba allí con amigos el 15 de febrero, uno del grupo de 4 había estado previamente para almorzar. Me pareció que la comida y el servicio era excelente. El servicio especialmente fue muy oportuno y funcionó bien con la cadencia del grupo. Desiertos un poco diferentes pero de nuevo bien pensados y de alta calidad. Excelente en todo. Charming place! We come here for lunch every time we visit London. Fantastic traditional British food, great ambient and service.

A lovely pub! The wine list is excellent, the bar snacks delicious (the sourdough and butter exceeded our expectations divinely!) and Indigo the barman was funny, knowledgeable and charming. An aromatic real fire and very good dogs too. We will come back!

Haven't been to the Havelock for a while now - but went with a friend last night. It was ok. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. The service was inattentive...(and there were not that many people eating there). The chicken kiev my friend had was robustly fried (or in the oven) (ie too dark) and one of our dishes was forgotten about until we pointed it out. With the few diners in there - I appreciate things must be slow for the staff and therefore a bit boring - but for the people in there actually parting with their cash to eat - it doesn't really work. Would think again about returning - it's not the same as it used to be.

Solía ser un bar encantador, pero tienen un hombre muy grosero que dijo a dos mesas en Nochebuena que bebieran y se largaran. Entonces le dijo a mi hija que es un perro y quería pelearse con la gente. No volverá allí hasta que se vaya. Tan triste porque era un pub animado. No esperas un servicio al cliente como este.

Friendly, local pub. A decent Sunday roast, although the service was slow (don’t think they expected as many people today).

Booked for me and my family on Christmas Day. The team were great from the moment we enquired to the moment we left. Best service in London I have come across. Place was decorated in a lovely festive way, and the atmosphere was lovely - you can tell the place attracts kind locals. Food was great too. Me and the family loved every minute at this place, and it really made our Christmas Day special. Thank you!

Solía ir al Havelock bastante a menudo cuando vivía en Londres y siempre lo disfrutaba, así que me sorprendió gratamente encontrarlo tan bueno, si no incluso mejor. Fue a la hora del almuerzo y el personal era encantador, la comida era deliciosa y a buen precio. ¡Un pub apropiado!

Guinness is awful, dirty glass too, and £6.75 a pint???

A very special place with Rob and his team providing us with a delicious Christmas lunch. We were fifteen people and the table was beautifully laid with great service and good roasts. It’s my go-to place for great times with good friends.

Nice local pub and went early. All staff were very attentive and prices for a west London pub are what I would expect. Nice selection of beer Food chosen was Sunday roasts , pork and lamb. Pork was good but the lamb was overcooked, rather dry and somewhat difficult to cut. We did mention this to the Manager as I don't believe in complaining online without actually saying something at the time. The lamb was ok but not the best I've had. Won't stop me going again as overall the place is very nice.

Went to the Havelock for a work Christmas dinner. The food was great, with excellent portion sizes...everyone left very full! The food was of good quality and service was prompt and well done. Very strongly recommended!

Overall a great pub which is nicely away from the Olympia crowds. Good service and friendly atmosphere. Food wise was good - chicken club sandwich was big, burger great and steak very nice. Fishfinger sandwich was the only disappointment - a bit small and the fish was flat not like a fishfinger. Otherwise very good.

Absolutely delicious Sunday roasts. Second time for us and this was just as good as we remembered. Smart pub, relaxed atmosphere and friendly, polite staff.

Excellent service, exceptional food, welcoming vibe. I combined two starters for dinner (smoked trout, pumpkin & sage ravioli) and both were among the best dishes I've had this year. Looking forward to returning.

Loved everything about this cosy pub and will definitely be back again. What is more, I tried one of the best burgers I have ever had!

Beautiful little place with amazing food and a warm friendly atmosphere

Just loved the place. My friends and I didn't make a reservation and we had a flight to catch, so the owner arranged a table for us, and we leave really satisfied with our sunday roast, and with the attention and service.

The Havelock continues to be the warm, inviting and friendly local pub that it always has been. Hats off to Rob (Mgr) and his team for working hard to maintain such a high standard, where others have lost many of the qualities mentioned.

Lovely friendly pub with excellent food and friendly staff. pleasant covered outdoor eating area as well as plenty of space inside and a great mid range menu. We ordered the Camembert with the caramelised onion and almonds which was delicious, and large portions too. For the mains we ordered lamb steak, the lamb was beautiful, so tender and succulent with the potatoes and the mint sauce, and the haddock (fish and chips) was the best I have ever had in a long time. They have the most amazing curry ketchup and tartare sauce with it, and for dessert we had the chocolate mousse which was great. The staff are amazing so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Havelock tavern to anyone. Such a wonderful place.

Steak was great, they also have a new cocktail menu and their Aperol and rhubarb spritz went down very well. We finished the meal with a sticky toffee and it was absolutely yummy! Staff is very nice and Westfield shopping centre is just 10 minutes away.

Loved being back at The Havelock Tavern. Food as delicious as always and service from Rob and the team was outstanding!

Excellent chicken roast and Panna Cotta

The best Sunday roast I’ve had in a long time, porchetta was cooked perfectly and gravy was 🔥 Rob and the team were perfect hosts. Will be back for live music when it’s next on!

Went for a Sunday roast, the lamb was absolutely delicious! I don’t know how they make their gravy but I could drink a whole pint of it! Rob and the team were very attentive and we had a great time!

Roast beef tad overcooked but it hasnt deterred from the flavour too much. Half chicken seemed to be more bang for your buck and porchetta is very soft and tender but too fatty for me

We literally found this place as we were hungry and wanted something close by. Talk about a treat - we got a seat right by the open fire in a fireplace. Tons of locals, great warm atmosphere. And we have eaten Great food at 4 different pubs this week, and this was the most delicious! The steak and the chicken meat pie were just perfect.

Wonderful British pub experience with excellent food. Best place to take your first dive into the traditional fish and chips. Highly recommended to any travellers! Locals most likely already know what a gem they have nearby.

I was served by the loveliest Daniel at the Havlock Tavern. He provided a breathe of fresh air to the pub and evidently runs a very strong team.

I popped in for a solo pint, and was met with a warm & welcoming atmosphere that felt like home! The beer was excellently kept, and my evening was made by the manager dan, whose warm demeanour and cracking smile took this from a good pub to a great pub. 10/10 would recommend

I came to try the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint! I got the beef option with horseradish cream sauce which added just a slight twist on the traditional. The carrots were actually my favourite part.

I celebrated my 25th birthday party at The Havelock Tavern on a Saturday August evening - it was the perfect summer party! I had 25 friends & we had the whole garden to ourselves. The garden was the perfect size as it wasn't too big or too small, it was nice and intimate with really pretty lights, it is the perfect setting for a summer garden party. The most delicious canapes & drinks - & Rob was a dream to organise and plan the party with - super chilled, friendly and fun!! Thanks so much Havelock Tavern!

Just back from a great dinner here tonight. The food at the Havelock rarely disappoints to be honest but this was a new menu since we last came and both our meals (3 courses) were really good

Stumbled upon this gem of a gastrop while in London account the food was terrific The service was perfect and the atmosphere was wonderful We ate here two nights in a row and everything was incredible if you go there ask for Rob he's the manager he was so friendly and helpful he walked us through the menu and made great suggestions get the beetroot hummus was out of this world .... Our server was Jade she was very nice too Go there you won't be disappointed

We booked the Havelock to watch the Euro24 game of Holland. The staff was absolutely amazing accomodating us (2 friends and daughters visiting from Holland). Food as expected: very good. And first row seats - all though not a lot of other people interested in this game ;-)

Everything is nice except the terrible fish smell in the back garden....

Experience overall was ok however we usually go to Havelock and recently we noted that food quality has been significantly worse

The Havelock Tavern is not my local pub - I was visiting friends and happened upon it. What a wonderful London gem of a pub. Off the beaten track with a lovely atmosphere of local clientele. Rob was the perfect host, providing everything we needed for a chippy tea. Definitely coming back ⭐️
