The food prices are reasonable but it is very busy between 5pm and 7pm. My table was not cleaned due to the high volume of customers. the food was served cold, but the quality of the food was good.

I ate here and there is great kindness and a lot of respect

I recently dined at Kurdistan Restaurant in Portsmouth and was thoroughly impressed. The food was authentic and delicious, offering a true taste of Kurdish cuisine. I'm disappointed to share that our recent visit to Kurdistan staff was marred by a 50-minute wait for our order. Unfortunately, today's service fell short of expectations. I've provided feedback to the management, hoping they'll take steps to improve their customer service.

First visit , came here to grap a bite for my daughters birthday as she fancied shwarmas, so we travelled to this place and I have to say, Amazing food! Very good portion! ( Endup taking rest aswel) , taste of food was so good! Felt welcoming, good vibe , very cosy , Service was the best order taken and delivered on time no waiting around kids loved it, We will diffenetly come back soon try different dishes :)

This place is fantastic. Popped in for a kebab, expecting the usual £8 - £9 per kabab at least. Decided to eat in, having 2 pretty sizeable shwarma raps and a drink, got served soup beforehand and kindly offered tea to try after. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff...... Only £12 In total !!! That is exceptional value. Definitely worth popping in here for a quick meal if you're in the area.

I ordered a collection on phone but when I get there they told me they don’t have my order without even let know and I been drevem about 22 minutes from Waterlloovil…very disappointed.

The complimentary soup is phenomenal, the staff are friendly and super welcoming and the restaurant has a beautiful ambience. Overall one of the best experiences a restaurant has to offer. Would 100% recommend for friends and family who want good food and good vibes

Very very good food! I had a family meal for two adults and two kids and it was super affordable tasty and we even managed to take away some! Thoroughly recommend, accomodating staff as well. Keep the standards high lads!

It was my first time to visit and it was a great experience.

The food is always so so nice and the portion sizes are great! I always go there and have enough to take home for another meal. The staff are very hospitable and the food comes to the table very quickly! Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Portsmouth

I recently dined at this place and had a mixed experience. The kofta kebab was nice, full of flavour and cooked well, and the chicken wings were absolutely delicious—juicy and seasoned perfectly. However, the mixed shawarma platter was a letdown; while the chicken shawarma was decent, the lamb shawarma tasted overcooked, almost like it was leftover from a previous batch.To top it off, our drinks were only brought out halfway through the meal, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, there were some hits and misses.

The food was amazing and the lamb kuzi was so good but there was one thing I need to complain about. The service. The young waiter was nice but the other one was inhospitable. He behaved like they were giving food for free.

Food was absolutely delicious. Both types of rice and the softest lamb broth dish was so good. My friend had a tasty grilled sea bass dish which was yummy. BUT the miserable faces and whiny comments from the boss (and main server) was off putting. The younger chaps working there were smiley and hospitable.

Mixed experience - wasn’t offered any lentil soup - the food was very tasty and service was very good - however I came here due to the fact they have pacha on the menu - I could understand if they ran out and had no more in stock. However, it turns out they never ever made it. It’s just an item on the menu.

Came for launch, they offer a lentil soup for free as a starter which is very delicious, then ordered lamb khuzi with plain white along with okra soup or sauce for the rice, and it was perfectly cooked, the meat is very tender. And the bread is fresh and was hot. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Don't miss the tea after you're done. Absolutely coming back again.

The food was wonderful, the guys working there were super polite and attentative. Very generous servings, light fluffy bread and very fairly priced. We appreciated the lentil soup starter and a fragranant tea at the end of our meal served on the house. It was a lovely touch and in-keeping with their cultural traditions. Pleasently lovely... just a shame we are not local, would have loved to go back.

Mine and my boyfriends first time in here we had two takeaway I had lamb shawarma and he had mixed meat shawarma... By faaarrr the best meat in Pompey and they let us try a cheeky sample just to prove how good they were and my mind was blown!! The customer service was fantastic warm and friendly and they let us take our time (as it was our first time) I will be going there again!!

In my opinion the best place in Portsmouth to get proper kebab. They bake own bread for shawarma. Meat is fresh and tasty, portion is generous.

This was my second time coming here and exact same great service and amazing food! They give free lentil soup as you arrived and it tastes so good! For the portion sizes the prices are pretty good. Definitely recommend and will be coming again.

Bread was good I liked that it was made to order but meat in my mixed shish was average in terms of quality and quantity. On a plus they didn't appear to use tenderisers or flavour enhancers like many Turkish restaurants. Didn't understand the complimentary soup at all.

Unfortunately, the food was not fresh, chicken was having smell, it felt like chicken was not cooked properly, we ordered soup which was not added on the delivery as they “mistook” the order. Heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to try, but the experience we had, this is gonna be first and last time. So disappointed!!!

Frankly speaking, everything is above rating. We came to them fasting and found dates and water on the tables for breakfast. They brought us free lentil soup as an appetizer. We ordered Quzi and kebab. The quantities were large, filling and delicious, God willing. The appetizers with Quzi are many and the prices are appropriate for the service. The place is quiet and nice Thank you very much and we will definitely come back💘

I never make reviews but I'd feel bad if I didn't leave a 5 star review - haven't even left the kebab yet. I payed £4 for a beautiful, MASSIVE shawarma (length of my man forearm and really wide) with a lentil soup. It all seemed homemade, quality was next level, vibes were immaculate, it looked especially clean for a kebab and they were well staffed. Honestly it was divine. Thank you!

Mama Walla this place is amazing. You can’t go wrong, the service is 10/10 the food is just unbelievable. The price was reasonable as well. We had the 18 sheesh platter and it was delicious.

Popped in here after the football just to see what it was like. The food was incredible and really decent value too. The lamb shawarma was something else.

The staff are all extremely friendly. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. And to top it off, the food is a 10/10. Also, as a side note, the portions of food are really generous, so you won't be leaving this restraunt with a half empty belly.

We've had both takeaway and sit in both have the same amazing service. Had sit down and was given lentil soup we tried the homemade houmous with there freshly made bread it was smooth and delicious. We had the shawarma with sides and a shawarma wrap the meat is succulent and delicious with the freshness of the salad and rice The service and people are welcoming and friendly couldn't recommend this place more
