Me and my Wife have been getting takeaway from here for a long time now and it's always so good! We have recommended this place to our friends many times and all of them have enjoyed it. The lady who owns the restaurant and is at front of desk is so lovely and welcoming. If you ask they will cook the meal to your preferred spice. We really like the Chicken masaman and a medium spiced beef penang

We had such an amazing meal with fantastic service. The portions are big and were extremely authentic and tasty. Very good value for money and the host was so friendly and made us feel at home. We will definitely be returning soon, thank you!

Not the best Thai takeaway I’ve had. Red and green curry were both quite watery and bland. Couldn’t taste any lemongrass, lime leaves or sugar like Thai curries usually have. The portions were enormous though!

Great... have had takeaways from here which were fine but sit in and bring your own booze is definitely the way to go. Only one person doing front of house so don't expect speed but the food and chat makes up for it in spades.

Maybe people are not aware but krua thai is now open again for dining in !!! They have only reopened last month after shutting down during covid . So good to be able to enjoy fantastic Thai food at a good price . This is now a BYO so bring your alcohol with you (or go to lidle over the road ).

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We have been having takeaway from Kru Thai for a long time. The service is always delightful and the food fantastic, flavourful and well cooked. We went for our first dine in meal this evening and it was even better! Amazing dishes served beautifully. The owners made sure to look after us and were so kind and accommodating. Cannot wait to go back and dine in there again… Ellie and James xx

First time trying this place, we're massive fans of Thai food and were excited to try it. Unfortunately the food was bland and sauces for the curry's were very watery. Expected a bit more flavour, the sides were nice (Prawn toast and ribs) Might try again but would rather drive to NUSARA Thai for more flavoursome food.

We have had takeaway from here before and it has been delicious. This time everything was very greasy, so much that all three of us had acid indigestion. My partner never gets indigestion so that's how greasy the dishes were. We were all on Setlers for a day. We had left overs but sadly some of it went in the bin as it was dripping in oil. It was a shame as we spent a lot of money, over £55 for three starters and three mains plus rice's.

Not the first time I have had food from here and as usual it was superb, Thai curry that tasted like curry, for a small business it does extremely well service is quick and efficient. It is a pity that this is just a take away now and not a full restaurant as it was. Would recommend Krua Thai to anyone that likes spicy Thai food

Been visiting Highcliffe for many years and sadly have only just discovered Krupa Thai 88 in New Milton. In brief stunning quality of food, more than enough to eat and very friendly service. Very highly recommended Neil & Paula, Sussex.

We enjoyed the green curry, red curry and fish cakes. My only point of feedback is the sauce was a bit too thin and wound benefit from being a bit thicker.

Absolutely livid with my order.The rice tasted like rubber and stale.The banna fritter had someone's hair in it which was inside the batter.The presentation was very messy and the onions and spring onions they couldn't be bothered to chop them correctly.The oyster sauce with prawn was alright but i was disgusted at the end when someone's hair is in my order.Seriously sort out your hygiene and tie your hair there's many other thai restaurants nearby!!

Had BBQ spare ribs at their food cart at Burley festival 2022, the food was old from the day before and smothered in cheap BBQ sause - but their tampura fried vegitables were loverly - next time I will only order what I see them cook at the site

Have been ordering and eating at Krua Thai for years now, every time the food is incredible and the staff are amazing. Last night we ordered for 7 people (who are big eaters) and their portions were generous including their additional sauces, prawn crackers, their vegetable platters were enough for a feast. Our whole family adore their meals every time. Last night they even gave us a lot of free banana fritters which we are now obsessed with! Thank you to all your team, from the Westons.

Just has the most delicious supper. Absolute authentic Thai. Full flavour hits in every dish. Freshest of veg in the veg with cashew nuts. Freshly sliced white cabbage/ carrots/ peppers / broccoli etc. All cooked slightly al dente.Perfectly cooked Cannot beat the Thai holy basil dish either. Right back in Thailand. Thank you Krua. We decided to try this restaurant because of the wide variety of vegetarian options which suit my daughter. The food was not fresh, watery and greasy. Front of house badly needs decorating which does not inspire confidence in the kitchen. They have a 3 star “satisfactory” hygiene rating. The Britannia Thai in Milford is a much better choice.

Takeaway collected, was a large order which was of good quality and flavour. Green curry was good and nice volume of meat, red curry was good. Pad Thai was also good but different to what I've experienced before. In general very good for a takeaway with good portions of meat and nice flavours. Would use again

Haven't tasted better Thai in the UK ever! And I have lived in Thailand 5 years. All dishes taste authentic and we just couldn't stop eating! Tried Phad Thai, Panaeng curry, pad see Ew, and black bean/ginger tofu. Already looking forward to going back!!!!

The Tom Kha Gai is one of the most delicious I've had outside of Thailand. I was also delighted to order Pad Si Ew which is never on the menu at Thai restaurants here in the UK! All super yummy and reasonably priced!

My well travelled friend gave a recommendation to Krua Thai. Saying it's the best Thai in New Milton. I finally had the chance to go and my goodness he was right! Full of flavour, generous portions and reasonable price, the owners are lovely people too!

I can only write about the take away menu and find myself agreeing with the majority of reviewers that the food served here is really authentic and highly tasty. Have eaten in Thailand and this is far superior. The take away is worth a visit and when things get back to normal I will be visiting for a restaurant meal. Oops almost forgot every time I have been here the quantity is too large and not sure if I should put what's left over in the fridge or better still in the freezer. Be warned.

This is the best Thai around. We always ask for everything spicy and traditional and it never fails to disappoint! Some of the best dim sum we've ever had! Currys and salads are so authentic. And the salads are spicy, hot and sour just like in Thailand. Never had a bad meal! Thank you for the banana fritters for desert too ❤️

Probably the best Thai, eat-in and takeaway, I have ever had. Portion size is really good with plenty of chicken and beef. Can definitely recommend the dim sum, and the chicken satay was the die for!

Currently only open for takeaway this restaurant produces most delicious food. There is a varied menu and portions are large. It's very popular and you need to order well in advance. Highly recommended.

Loosely based on Thai food - we ordered a takeaway - Panang chicken, fried starters, sizzling lamb and holy basil chicken. The food wasn’t fresh and seemed as though the chicken had been hanging around for a while despite taking 45 mins, very dry. The curry’s were watery and lacked proper flavour. The starter was probably just from frozen and put in the oven

Never imagined to find such a great take-away place nearby. Generous portion sizes, both starters and mains were absolutely delicious, full of flavour. Just want to call back the restaurant so I can thank them again. One of the very few restaurants worth ordering from!

We decided due to it being our wedding anniversary, to treat ourselves to a meal at Krua Thai 88.We had to have the meal as a take away due to the ongoing virus. The meal was absolutely fantastic, excellent value for money, thoroughly tasty.Definitely would recommend.

Always fantastic food and service. In these difficult times we decided to treat ourselves to a meal on Mother's Day, as always food was cooked promptly, to a great standard and was delicious. Even gave us a complimentary beer and crackers. We will always get our Thai takeaway from here :-)

We visited last night for my husband's birthday meal and couldn't fault it. The place was packed so we should have booked but managed to get a table as we'd been before. We started with chicken satay, prawn toasts and spare ribs followed by beef in ginger and black bean sauce plus Thai basil leaves and chilli chicken (mild) and chicken special fried rice rice finishing with Thai pancakes. Delicious!! We'll be back!

A gem of a place in New Milton but they may need a bigger restaurant judging by the rave reviews I get when I mention it to others who have eaten there.

My partner and I we’re working very hard all day today decorating for a customer - I did not feel like cooking tonight so decided to book a table at a last minute notice and Vicki booked us in with no problems whatsoever! We dined here many times before including today & we’re always pleased every time ! The food here’s absolutely beautiful & Vicki’s ever so kind & helpful !!! Good value for money, excellent customer service, colourful & flavoursome food! A proper taste of Thailand here in New Milton. Many thanks for a lovely meal. We stayed in an Air BnB in New Milton and decided to call up this place for an evening meal. It was delicious! We got the 2 person set menu and you can tell that everything was homemade as it was ordered. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. It had a nice authentic feel. I would suggest booking beforehand as it is only a very small restaurant and they also do take away calls too.

Been here before food was amazing but tonight nothing went right. We waited twenty minutes before anyone asked us what we wanted to drink. Asked us if we wanted ice we said yes there wasn't ice in one of the drinks.I asked for ice that took 15 minutes to come. The servers stopped multiple times in the middle of serving customers to answer the phone more interested in taking takeaway orders. It was 45 minutes before our food order was taken. Waitress refused to bring out the started and the main together then brought out the starter with one of half of the main. Then it was half an hour before the other half and the other main came out. Leaving one person to eat rice on its own for a main. The male server when he brought the soup over banged it down spilling the soup over his hand and shook his hand flicking it back into the bowl of soup. Both servers were looking for sympathy and fishing for compliments. After waiting a long time for half of the main I was asked if I wanted to leave it. The chicken and beef was tough the food didn't taste as good as last time. The couple sat next to us were fed up. I wasn't going to leave a negative review but the waiter who took payment at the end tried to force us to leave him a tip twice. He asked us twice if we wanted our change back. After his display tonight I was shocked and appalled might not return if it means seeing him again.

Had an absolutely amazing meal here at this hidden Jen in New Milton at The Pantiles crossroads. ( over the road from Lidl) Amazingly fresh, tasty food with delicate flavours. It only seats 26 but does takeaway and it very reasonably priced. Fantastic experience.

Last time I eat take-away again; (anywhere, not just here). The food was of a poor quality and pretty tasteless. Seafood red curry which had 4 mussels , 2 calamari rings and 2 king prawns in a tub of cream and oil which was split, so runny the fish did not have any of the flavour and was not even slightly red in colour, soup would be a more appropriate name for the dish. Do not think it works the take away food as have eaten there twice before since opening and in the restaurant the food was lovely. Won’t be eating there again, another food premises off my dining list sadly .

Firstly I only ever manage to pop in and get takeaway from Krua 88 however have never been anything but impressed. My favoruite dish is the Duck Thai Holy Basil with the best Chicken Satay skewers ever. My wife has the pad thai and it's always lovely. Keep up the good work team.

Have been meaning to visit this restaurant since it opened back in 2016. For some reason, it just never happened, even with great reviews from friends and neighbours.....that was until last night. What a fantastic place. The food was excellent. We were well looked after and were given an insight into some of the dishes we were not familiar with. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and earned brownie points from the Mrs to boot. Will definitely be back.

Pleasant enough meal made to your taste in heat. Unfortunately we were overcharged on the bill. Shame as atmosphere was fine and staff friendly.

Visited here whilst on holiday after recommendation from B&B.; We were not disappointed. Food came in large portions, freshly cooked and was definitely the best Thai I have tasted. Good value for money. Small intimate restaurant providing lovely atmosphere. Wish we lived closer so that we could visit more often. We will return!

We ordered a takeaway which was all freshly cooked with good quality ingredients and very generous portion sizes. The Chicken pad Thai was very excellent along with the red Thai curry. You get 10% of for takeaway which could be better.

My partner & myself decided to eat at Krua Thai 88 based on the reviews on here but left feeling very disappointed with both the service & ambiance of the restaurant! On arriving for a pre booked reservation we had to stand & wait at the “Marie Celeste” bar area before being noticed & then eventually shown to our table! Unfortunately the ambiance of the restaurant had the charm of a brightly lit post Office magnolia painted & lacked any “Thai” influence / ambiance the (despite a few figures dotted around)!. The restaurant is only small & seemed to be half full on our visit only 2 waitresses on this shift which deemed to be inadequate for the service we received! Drinks were quickly offered then the service quickly deteriorated for the whole of our visit! Waitresses seemed more interested in chatting about their private lives to each other rather than keeping an eye on their customers needs which was extremely frustrating!

The perfect balance of spicy, fragrent, rich and creamy. Paired with coconut rice this is hands down one of my favorite meals. Vicky is always super friendly and welcoming and makes us feel so at home in her restaurant. Large portion sizes too! Restaurant atmosphere could be improved possibly, but the food quality and friendly service really make this place shine. As long as Vicky and her husband continue serving up such fantastic quality food I will keep coming back!

The best Thai food I have tasted and good value for money too! I would recommend the red Thai duck curry or sea-bass with homemade sauce, absolutely delicious.

Resplendent food everything was to our liking recommend the soup, Penang, the satay, spring rolls and rice dishes. The drinks were lovely and cold. Friendly staff bit of a wait but we didn't mind.

Came here for lunch phoned when we arrived because the restaurant was closed the man on the phone seemed confused and told us they are not open at lunch time but on Google they say are open for lunch from twelve till three waste of time and no lunch on what was supposed to be a special day

After a recent recommendation we decided to try this restaurant, however after living in Thailand for 13 years we are always a little wary about the authenticity of Thai restaurants in the UK. We were blown away by the freshness of the food and the authentic flavours at Krua Thai 88. The menu is also priced very reasonably but the the portions were really generous. We had the red curry, the tamarind duck and a pad see eiw to share between the two of us - all delicious. We will most definitely be returning soon!

Booked this restaurant based on it getting decent reviews and felt I should add to them as it was such a lovely meal. Arrived early on Friday evening and was greeted by a friendly welcome from the waitress who was attentive and informative about the food. The food itself was delicious and very well priced. I will definitely be returning when next in the area .
