Kowloon Chinese Takeaway in Kirklees

Just had a delicious meal from Kowloon. Placed the order over the phone for delivery, and had received the meal withing 30 minutes. Food was freshly cooked and hot, and delicious. We've used Kowloon before many times, but this meal was a step up on the previous high standards.

Great Chinese and Cantonese food from the local takeaway, the salt and pepper ribs were perfect full of flavour followed by the sweet and sour pork balls , helpful staff on the phone if your not sure what to have . Would recommend to anyone

The Singapore noodles, are not Singapore noodles. What ever it was it was oily and in a weird red sauce, it horrible, I’m really disappointed

Portions were generous but I didn’t enjoy the food, for instance Cha Sui was very fatty - food not to my taste

All food good, but not as amazing as other review suggest in my opinion. Most portions about average, but the chow mein was very small for the price.

This has to be the best Chinese takeaway around Mirfield. Dont think I have ever had a bad meal from here.

After moving to the area I scoped out my local Chinese Take-Away. I'm really sad to say I binned everything. I was so hungry and knew I hadn't enough cash to go and get more food, but found it so bad and was convinced I'd be ill if I ate it all. I cannot say how sad it makes me, knowing there's a Chinese Take away so close but yet have no confidence in their ability. Everyone else appears to rave about it. So I may be wrong. However, Prawnless Toast starters, fried to a crisp. Chicken in concentrated acidic Orange Squash Sauce. Even the acid from the sauce didn't tenderise the chicken. Guys, without any venom whatsoever, please pull your socks up. I want you to do better. Until you do, I'll drive the extra distance and head back to Hipperholme.

I love Kowloon! Fresh, tasty and not a piece of rubber chicken in site! Delivery is prompt too. I can recommend salt and pepper chicken.

For no frills, at home dining you can't get better than a KOWLOON Chinese Take away. I love their Special Curry Fried Rice, full of beef, chicken, pork and prawns yet without those huge chunks of green pepper you normally find in a take away. Great value.

Very generous portions, well presented and full of flavour. We placed our order and they threw in prawn crackers and a massive portion of salt n pepper chips too. Curry sauce was to die for. We'll definitely order again.

Used Kowloon for several years and found it to be absolutely fine. Tried a wide variety of dishes and never been disappointed. They deliver and do special lunch boxes on certain days too.

This is a chinese take away near where we used to live, it is so good that we have contined to use it and travel to collect our food!

Food is so tasty and the chicken is proper carved chicken, not slimy rubber chicken you tend to get in takeaways!!! I won't go anywhere else for my Chinese food.

This is the best Chinese take away in Mirfield. The food and service are good, however it is a little pricey. I personally don't mind paying slightly more for quality!
